Except nothing you stated is toxic.
Toxic = cheating, people.
-
It's too niche to be on the radar of the Devs. There are bigger issues at the moment, and honestly if you're being tunneled that hard, you did something to deserve it. Or your teammates are stupid enough to farm you.
-
Does anyone have a count on the amount of times Calm Spirit has been in the shrine?
-
It depends. I'm really into classical music, and know some composition s that could work.
- Shostakovich Violin Concerto, mvt 4
- Zigunerweisen, by Sarasate
- Ysaye Sonata 3
- Tzigane, by Ravel
- Sibelius Violin Concerto, mvt 3
- Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, mvt 1
I have more.
-
I have one older brother 5 1/2 years older than me. We look like we came from opposite sides of the continent. We pretend each other doesn't exist.
-
I'm not an adult yet a still associated myself with people a few years my senior.
-
Trapper always gets me. I'm just strolling along when suddenly I snap my femur.
-
I would love some extra moris. I'm all for extra blood and gore. It is a slasher game, after all.
-
Buff the numbers to 10-15-20, then we're talking.
-
Prestige doesn't mean much. I've seen 4head p3 survivors too many times.

Actually no, the things you listed are CHEATING, which is toxic as well, but not limited to your arbitrary list. Toxic is doing things to intentionally make life miserable for others knowing that it does that. Camping and tunneling are in fact toxic. Teabagging is toxic.
Camping and tunneling are, in fact, legitimate strategies.

It's true, isn't it? Everyone literally does have their own definition. Issue is, there is only one correct definition, and it's not up to interpretation nor is it up for debate or opinion.
To be toxic is to generally just be an #########. To be arrogant, to be egotistical, and generally try to piss people off somehow. To be toxic is to talk ######### after games and abuse exploits in game (like infinite mend Legion etc). Cheating, while wrong, and of course cheating and bannable, is ABSOLUTELY toxic.
What ISN'T toxic is using ANY in game item or perk. Whether that be flashlights for blinding killers, or DS to get off their shoulder. I would even argue that taunting can't be considered toxic. Lots of games, real sports and video games alike, have some form of taunting in them. Just because you don't like something, doesn't make it toxic.
This.
-
Looks like fun. I just hard tunnel Survivors who do that.
-
Like @TheRoyalOwl said, everyone has their own definition. I just find it frustrating that people use the word in context that is counterproductive to their point.
-
For me, toxic is a synonym for cheating.

i faced survivors i knew weren't bad
the thing about spirit is that survivors have no input in interactions with her. ergo, survivor skill doesn't matter. you do equally well against good and bad survivors
once you understand how her mechanics work and how she's best played (phasing short distances mid chase and playing with her ears) she's piss easy, and there's a reason most spirit mains are potatoes on every other killer (same with nurse mains)
Go watch ZubatLEL, Ardetha, or ANY OTHER God level Nurse play another Killer, and then tell me your opinion.
-
No. If it is, I am completely done with the devs.
-
For me it's:
Lithe, It'll proc at least once per match
Head on, because memes.
Sprint burst, I'd prefer to choose whether or not to use my perk.
Balanced landing, because I never get ANY map where this is good. Also too situational.
Dead hard, because it NEVER. F***ING. WORKS.
-
Meg: Wonder why he's wearing a very killer like mask... Wait, is that a knife?

@miaasma you probably didn't face good survivors then. I use a build (without Ruin obviously) and I had to learn routing, mindgames, when to predict a survivor and when to go right behind them, whether they'll drop a pallet or not while I'm phasing.
I highly doubt you versed good survivors.
This. Just @Poweas's profile picture scares me. *shivers*
-
Maybe it's a typo. Try it out, maybe you can figure it out.

spirit has no counterplay
i played spirit for a daily yesterday with subpar perks and was amazed at how easy it was
if you have a good pair of headphones you're a good spirit player
No! Not at all. Learning to phase mid-chase is one of the most difficult things to do in the game. I play spirit regularly at red ranks and I still mindgame myself often. She is the second hardest, debatably the hardest killer in the game to play.
Edit: Stealthy Survivors are her worst nightmare. Iron will completely screws her over. I think even Stridor can throw you off, making you think a Survivor is closer than they are.
-
Here's a few options to combat, not punish, SWF.
- Nurse or Spirit
- Slugging
- Proxy Camping and Tunneling with a High Mobility Killer.
- Some form of build to make them angry.
-
Don't be mean to my Phasey Girl🥺. She has feelings.😰
-
I've been having an issue lately.
We all know the Devs want a 2k on average, right? If so, Killers will have a HUGE issue. Past rank 10, it is near-impossible to pip with a 2k. I have pipped maybe ONCE in like 25 2ks. I can barely pip in red ranks with 4ks, let alone with 2ks.
-
I'm a poor Xbox soul, no PTB for me.
-
Killer: Spirit
Survivor: Either my Feng or Sheriff Jake. Just completed his outfit with the p2 pants.

Hangman's Trick.
Hangman's trick is great... Against 4-man sabo squads. It shines rarely, but when it shines, it shines bright.
-
They could just bump up her age like they did for Laurie.
-
Mine is:
The Spirit
Add-Ons: Yakuyoke Amulet and Wakasashi(?) Saya
Perks: Ruin, Devour Hope, BBQ, and Nurse's Calling
Gets them every time.
-
The Hillbilly is a killer that's easy to pick up yet difficult to master. He can perform in most areas of the game yet has a counter to prevent him operating to his fullest. I see why he's their target.
-
I play on a daily basis unless I have something else to do.
EDIT: I've played since Clown dropped, and I have a little over 750 hrs.

Then leave lobbies that have high or unstable ping?
It's not the killer's fault if you stick around a lobby when the connection is bad for you.
It's also not my fault the ping is fine in the lobby, but when I get into the game I'm teleporting around like it's Portal 2.

Likely an swf that averages out to about rank 10+
Rank is often not an indicator on how good someone truly is.
Were you pointing out the one Rank 6, or that everyone else was beneath your rank? This is not a bad spread really. Now when you see red rank killers against a pack of greens or red rank survivors against a purple killer, then you have something to worry about.

All this. Accidently quoted twice😁

I personally don't think Billy is well balanced either.
To me the ideal balanced killer is Spirit.
While spirit is *cough* stronger *cough* than our Billy Boi,I can see where the devs are coming from in terms of balance.
-
Your M2 ability is what makes you or breaks you in looping. I just think the Clown's falls a little short of it's intended job.
-
I really don't understand why people worship the Clown. I'm a killer main and yet still I can loop a Clown for 5 gens. I just run through his gas. Ok, MAYBE he'll prevent me from going around, idk, one more time, but in the grand scheme of things, he still gets looped, he still gets shacked, and he still gets hit with infinites.
-
Do I get a gold star for memorizing them all?😂
-
The creatures in White Noise are humanoid, and some such as Darcy have backstories as humans.
-
Ooo good idea. I'll edit OP.
-
That's why he has 2 modes. I took the idea of Myers (getting more powerful as the nach progressed) and extrapolated.
-
How so? What should I change?
-
Then I would say 5 gens need to be blocked. One per totem. 3 gens, not close together, stay unblocked until your requirements are met. Survivors see the aura of a gen being un locked for 10 seconds. Remove the gen completion requirement.
EDIT: Typo

Dead by Daylight is not the only game they make and have made. A lot of people only know Bhvr because of DBD; but I originally knew them for both Naughty Bear and WET. Right now DBD is STILL not the only game they work on; and they are pushing content out at an astonishing rate while doing a lot of behinds the scenes work to try and refactor code; so I am not that bothered by how slow they work sometimes. At least Bhvr is one of the few companies I fully trust to eventually make things right; which I can't say about most gaming companies.
To my knowledge, Deathgarden was made by BHVR.

Lol. I'm not good enough to mind game others. Let along myself.
It's eaisier to mind game yourself than others. You've done it at LEAST once. Admit it

I feel like Spirit players feel this more than anyone lol.
Yes to your question though.
Me on a daily basis😅
-
Never, hopefully. Add-on rework, yes. Base kit, no.
-
You people and your PS4 struggles. Try a 36 minute queue on xbox. Yup.
-
Imo hillbilly is one of the most boring killers. Spirit is a prime example of fun and viable.
-
I am a Pig and Spirit main, here's your answer.
1. I love her power, but the FOV in crouch is too low
2. She just got gutted. The elimination of endgame potential is absurd.
3. Any skill check add-ons. It increases skill checks by, get this, 1 and 2%. Yeah.
4. Playing as, when survivors get RBTs of on the 1st box. Against, the RBTs.
5. For both sides, the element of surprise and uncertainty. Where is she? Will she come yee-hawing her way around that corner? Awesome feeling.
