Moris:
Remove the offering from the game and the animations into the Killers basekit. Only allow them to be possible on death hook. This way the Killer can choose between wasting time doing the mori or saving time by hooking. It would also make Survivors a little less brazen.
Keys:
Remove broken key from the game and replace with a Crystal Ball. Hopefully, this will reduce tunneling, even if only a little.
Remove purple key from the game.
Red Key only work for the Key holder. The hatch closes immediately after the Survivor escapes. EGC will only trigger if there is only one Survivor remaining.

I disagree. I know everyone hates on the “second chance” perks, but they are needed, especially Borrowed Time and Decisive Strike, with all the campers and tunnelers that the game has.
I do think that DS needs to be altered to being a true anti-tunneling perk rather than the anti-momentum perk that it is. It should deactivate after starting an objective such as cleansing a totem or working on a gen.
Unbreakable is fine as is, and I’d go so far as to say they should buff the crawl speed a bit more.
Sprint Burst, Lithe, and Balanced Landing all have cool downs with exhaustion, and can’t be abused.
Dead Hard doesn’t work half the time and can usually be easily baited out.
The only things that really need changing are, Keys and DS.
Keys should take longer to use and only work for the key holder.
As for the Killers side, Moris offerings need to be removed and reworked to be basekit. They should only work on death hook and the animations should be a little longer so the killer can make the choice to either kill and give the teammates time to do objectives or hook.

are all your characters prestige 3? thats how I've avoided that problem. if not then just start doing it its not like you will use all the addons and offerings on them anyway.
No, they’re not P3. I will probably P3 them since there’s nothing else to spend them on, but I’m not a fan of the bloody cosmetics and see no rush to do so.
-
I have the opposite problem, I am earning more blood points than I could spend. Plunderers lets me save on items, and the characters I want are already max level. I wish they would make cosmetics that you could purchase for bloodpoints. something like 10 million points for a shirt, 20 million for shoes and pants, and 5 for head piece.
I can't bring myself to spend money for digital cosmetics and since this game no 'endgame' it gets boring not having any goals to work towards.

Damn sounds rough, had a similar case happen with a demogorgon who was facecamping me one game, and the 2 blendettes on the team were just crouched behind him just teabagging, I dont know what it is but I've only ever been camped by Demos and Docs
At least the Demodoggy is interesting to look at. Bonus points if he nods the whole time, I think he looks cute when he does.
In general, I don’t have a problem with camping, especially when it’s done later in the game and only 2 gens are left. It gets annoying when my teammates don’t pump out the gens or the Killer just camps from 5 gens after their first down.
I forgive Bubbas though, they’re designed to camp and they’re just fulfilling the meme.

He does, one where a wraith insists he's not camping
I completely forgot about that scene! I loved the marshmallow roasting as well.
I only though of this because of a blight who refused to leave hooks from the start of the match. I got frustrated because he has such high mobility that it would be easy for him to get in a chase. Also, it didn’t help that my teammates just lurked around my hook rather than rush gens.
-
Vampire.
Not the monstrous types, but more of a cool, collected type like Dracula or Alucard from the Castlevania series.
They need to have a cap and hover over the ground like the Nurse does. Maybe their power could be them transforming into smoke and phase through objects and walls?
I also second the witch suggestion, but only if Claudette gets a full witches cosmetic complete with a pointy hat and fake green nose.
-
Camping from the start sucks, but the Devs really can’t do much since it can be the best strategy that a Killer can employ later in the match.
Blame survivors for abusing anti-camping mechanics that the Devs introduced and had to remove due to its abuse.
Best thing to do is run Kindred, and master looping to make yourself as and unappealing target.
-
I think it should be buffed by merging it with small game.
it’s a niche perk and can become useless if others cleanse totems or are also running the same perk. I’d rather run self care while playing solo, can’t rely on teammates too often.
-
I actually really enjoy stealth, and hope they never remove the ability to use it. Not everyone is a pro looper, some people like being sneaky. It’s thrilling to hide and have the Killer walk past you a couple of times and never find you.
But yes, I agree that it sucks if they don’t try to do the objective. I guess that’s why you could report them for holding the game hostage.
Also, being immersive play is a must against Killers who tunnel or mori from the start of the game.

If you need a build to camp with Bubba, you are not very good, which explains why you are camping to begin with.
Try this one newbie- NOED, Blood Warden, Bitter Murmur and Iron Grasp/Agitation. Just make sure you don't hook the survivor until after the doors open with Blood Warden. That part might take the slightest bit of skill and timing so you might struggle with that. LOL
Enjoy low BP, low pip rate for the least effort possible. Players like this are what cause half the problems in this game. The other half are survivors.
Killers who camp with Bubba aren’t looking to be good.

You had to bring a specific perk to do bones and not only that you died doing bones even in swf. Now that you have revealed you have very little hours in surv it's pretty hard to take all lot of what you say seriously. But I'm gonna go with your stats.
Yes, you bring in 1 perk to counter 1 perk. Sounds reasonable to me, especially since Survivors have a combined 16 perks versus a Killers 4.
If NoEd was a big of a deal as some players would have us believe, wouldn’t it make sense to equip oneself with the perk to counter it?
-
Yes, we can expect you to crouch walk up to the hook and crouch away. It’s an easy counter that only requires patience. The other option is to run through all the traps have her chase you and let another teammate unhook.
The game would get boring pretty fast if you had to play the same exact strategy with every Killer. If the Hag really bothers you, you have the option to run small game and a flashlight. You can even run Plunderers in order to get more flashlights.
-
Claudette.
She was what people around here suggested to play in order to get self care. I got hooked with her and think she’s the best. She has a kind face and the best screams. Also, I’m bad so her natural camouflage helps.
-
Play with your food is good too, it’ll let bubba be a little speedy boi.

This is actually true.
I was about to tag you in this, and then realized you posted it. 🤣
Is it sad that I don't even play anymore and yet, I am still addicted to Daddy Meyers? Heck, when I see your avatar and user name I get all hot and bothered.
-
Wear the hospital gown and constantly vault a window. Survivors would flock to your sexy legs like a moth to fire.
-
Maybe the devs could implement a screaming factor into the game. If a Survivor doesn’t work on an objective for more than 10 minutes, the entity makes them scream. Emoting will not stop the timer either.
The time would only deactivate if the Survivor works on an objective for 30 seconds.
-
Incorrect, I’m terrible at both roles though I equally enjoy playing them. As Survivor, I can’t loop well at all, but in order to compensate, I just play stealth with sprint burst as my get away card.
I just sneak around while doing objectives and the second Spine Chill flashes, I go into the shadows, wasting the Killers time while he looks for me. In the off chance that I get spotted (I usually do something stupid), I use sprint burst to get away and waste more time.
You just have to be competent when playing Survivor. The most difficult thing about the role is having to rely on your teammates.
-
I disagree, I don’t think that they don’t care, I just think that they’re not the best when it comes to programming video games.
The other issue is, they have a fine line that they can’t cross when working on Killers. They have to make them attractive “just enough” in order to please players while at the same time, make them difficult enough to where Survivor players won’t abandon Survivor and switch to Killer.
Let’s face it, BeHavior is a business, and right now the money is in Survivors Cosmetics and SWF (so they can show off to each other- take a look a fortnite, their business is all about cosmetics).
This game really needs a reboot from the ground up. The code needs to be rewritten and optimized for console as well as PC and all the major bugs need to be ironed out. They need to designs the game engine around the many possibilities of future Killer powers, and make the environments more interactive for both roles.
They need to also figure out how to make camping and tunneling from the start of a match as unattractive as possible (only when 3 or more gens are available) while also figuring out how to make the game a little less stressful for Killers. Solo Survivor needs some love too, and needs some way to have limited communication between players as well as Self Care as basekit in order to encourage more divers perk builds so newer/weaker players can realize that they don’t always have to heal with SC all the time.
Game also needs more Muscular Men.
-
This is why I think SC should be base kit. It would help solo a lot by opening up a perk slot for something like Botany or We'll Make It. It won't do much for SWF since they usually know how to play as efficiently as possible and wouldn't rely on SC much anyways.
-
@BabyDweetMain said:
I always run botany and so I tbag after unhooking so they know to stay and get healed. Hell even if we cut it close I'll take the hit. But tell me why I've had so many red ranks run from the hook directly into the direction the killer went after they were hooked? Like why...
They’re hoping the Killer will take a swipe at you and cause your pants to malfunction so they can see the goods. Maybe?

See that actually sounds nice
Well, i do this with my chicken breasts. It comes out very moist and delicious. You can add some herbs to the brine if you'd like, just google what would work.
For my ribeye steaks, I don't brine, I just salt and pepper both sides of the meat, and let it sit out until it hits room temperature. Then I roast in the oven according to the directions I provided, and then fry both sides in a cast iron pan with butter to get a nice crust. Comes out delicious.
Google reverse searing- I think that's what the method was called.
-
Dear Fellow Survivors,
Please disregard everything in the OP and continue running as far away from the hook as possible. The Killer will always double back to Kill you if you stay and heal, and the Hook has cooties as well.
Sincerely,
Definitely Not a Killer

Okay but can you actually imagine how funny it would be if the killer who has a whole weapon in their hands, chased the survivors and then instead of swinging through the pallet, decided to drop it on them? The staring contest that would ensue afterward would be amazing XD
I can also imagine Pigs and Ghostface's camping pallets in stealth mode and waiting for survivors to walk through them and pallet stunning them XD
Honestly, I wouldn’t even hook Survivors when playing Killers. I’d just lurk around pallets waiting to scare the poop out of them. I can’t count how many times I’ve gotten startled by a pallet stun, even not while chasing someone.
-
I’ll agree to this if Killers can pallet stun Survivors.

Well yer how else do you tenderise horsemeat without beating it a bit
You brine it salt water for 4 hours and roast in the oven at 200° for 50 minutes and then you quickly fry each side in a hot cast iron pan for about 4 minutes each.

The game is as close to balanced as it will ever be except for maybe two perks, an item and an offering.
Claudette is bae.

No. I had too many instances of Blendettes taking game hostage Im just tired of it. If I see anyone playing as Claudette and not wearing bright colour pants or jacket, I am not taking any chances.
What if I slowly crawl up to you, with my face pointed up at you, in order to admire your raw sexiness? Would you show mercy then?
As a Blendette, I can’t loop (I’m bad, yes, I just cannot look behind me while running) and have to rely on stealth. But I do objectives! I rescue, heal, do gens, and will body block or even run right in front of the Killer in order to take the pressure off of someone whose already been hooked.
But yea, if I see a mori after 1st hook I become one with the shadows. I can see how annoying it is.
Would you at least do a sexy dance before you kill me? Let me have some entertainment.

All Blendettes must die.
No. Some of us like her because she was our first character. Not all of us are toxic. Be nice to the non-neon colored clicky clicky Claudettes. Obliterate the ones who are clicky clicky.
-
Survivors who lose to NoEd are just bad. It just means their team wasn’t good enough to waste enough of the Killers time to give themselves the opportunity to do 5 gens and 5 totems. Heck, they didn’t even need to do 5 totems, they could just wait till the gens are done and look for the lit totem.
feels bad.
-
Only an idiot would care what you or anyone thinks about how they play. As long as they follow the rules set by the Devs, not cheat/hack, and are having fun, why should they care? It’s not like you’re paying them to play a certain way.
It’s a video game, unless you’re a streamer who makes a living off of it, it has no bearing on your life other than wasting time.
-
Rather than a perk, I’d think it’d be hilarious if I could pallet stun Survivors. They should allow it on April Fools or something.

Yes, you can change the loadout, not the killer, the problem is "what happens if I don't have the loadout I need or the mori they deserve with the current killer I'm using?"
Id just leave the lobby. It’s not worth it to sweat against these types of players, whose goal is to put you down as much as possible. With cross play, finding a match doesn’t take too long.
The other option is to play basement chest protector. You’ll be ruining their fun because they really want to loop you in front of their friends to show how good they are and tbag at every chance they get. So, play defensively, and forbid them from getting the points that they want. I do this when I’m playing Hag or Trapper and see they have OoO. It just breaks the game when they do and has me question what the devs were on when they introduced that perk into the game.
-
This is why Killers camp and tunnel as much as they do. The few ruin it for the majority.
I recommend that the moment you see more than 2 flashlights, you bring in a mori since you can’t change Killers in the lobby anymore. Scummy players deserve no mercy.
I haven’t played Killer in a while, can you at least change out your perks and offerings while you’re in a lobby?
-
I think the game is pretty balanced as things stand. The only things I would change are :
- DS should deactivate if the Survivor works on an objective.
- Survivors should get a few things as basekit- Self Care should be one of them, opening up a slot for newer/weaker players to try out other perks without having to worry about healing. I mean it takes long enough to heal so Killers shouldn't be opposed to it, and they can run Botany to make it faster and not hinder their teammates. They should redesign the maps "glass bead" to also be base kit without a map so they can somewhat communicate with their teammates about important objectives. And a weaker version of Kindred that only reveals a Killer if they're literally face camping 1 yard from the hook.
- Matchmaking needs to be reworked once again. Maybe BeHavior needs to just hire outside help to get this taken care of. I think this is the biggest issue plaguing this game today.
-
-
I’m bad at this game in both roles, so don’t judge.
As Survivor, I enjoying evading the Killer for as long as possible and the rush that comes with potentially being discovered and the thrill when they do discover me and chase me. But yea, I enjoy the hide and seek aspect of the game.
-
@NursesBootie said:
NOED is more annoying and Bad in combination with some powers than anything else.
NoEd is only bad because Bad Survivors couldn’t outplay the Killer and waste enough of their time to do gens and 5 totems.
NoEd is nothing to worry about when it comes to competent players. It has a super easy counter made easier with two perks and a map.
If the Killer who used NoEd was truly bad, you’d think the Survivors would have no problem surviving and cleansing.
-
As long as he hasn’t prevented you from doing gens or opening doors, you have no reason to report him.
As you don’t want him dictating your play style, you you don’t have a right to tell Killers how to play.

But that's exactly what it is, what do you want people to do lie to you so you'll feel better? It's a video game that's multiplayer and anyone can play however they want to have fun even you if you decide to bring iri heads and a Mori every single game which is totally possible I have over 300 of each on my huntress , it still doesn't change that people play the damn game to have fun not be in some boring hold m1 simulator and play like a square the whole match trying to have manners in a video game because "feelings", who would've thought people play games to have fun?
I agree with your sentiments, but op is asking for balance not removal.
