  • But clown's bottles don't work at all like huntresses hatchets, even with pinky finger. So giving him the same limitations as a killer who's got a much better ranged attack doesn't make any sense to me.

  • They don't seem to actually change anything in 99% of the maps. If they aren't going to fix that, may as well remove them entirely

He's a slasher from the 90s, you could conceivably add teleportation to about any of them within reason, just due to the tropes the genre relied on for so long.

wrong place to ask, you ruin the game for the rest will be the most givin responce.....that the killer ruins the game is ok.

if you dont have fun in a game then who is anybody to say what you can or cant do. As long this game promotes this kind of behaviour, people will leave the game by DC or kill them self on hook....i know i do.

I play killer more now and i never tunnel or go back to a hook, cause i know the feeling. It destroys all fun in a game.

Survivor is almost unplayable with the stomping, tunneling camping and tryhards who think that they win a miljon dollars at the end.

"As long this game promotes this kind of behaviour, people will leave the game by DC or kill them self on hook....i know i do."

Just to be clear. That's not the game. When you intentionally suicide or DC against a camping or tunneling killer, you are literally giving them what they want. That, in turn makes it more likely that person will continue to camp and tunnel, as Everytime they do so, they are rewarded with an easier match where survivors kill themselves for the killer. You directly promote the behavior you claim makes the game "unfun" by making it the most useful way to get players out early.

  • 1. Chucky as killer (obviously) using voodoo to hook people. I'd also accept Chucky's hooks cranking down for him, so long as they use the Brad Dourif for the voice lines.

    2. Andy as a survivor, can base him on his TV series appearance, that way he's an adult.

    3. Good guy doll factory as a map, with conveyor belt system.

You are misunderstanding my friend. I'm sorry about your long day

This is not a discussion on how easy or viable her ability is.

A survivor can outsmart a nurse. A survivor can juke, spin, and duck a nurse - giving them the slip. Yes.

My point is not her perfection, it is not how strong she is, it is of how BORING she is within the context of her power's eloquence.

If I was the nurse playing against you, and you gave me the slip - I feel bad.

If I was the nurse playing against you, and I hit you - I feel bored.

If you were the nurse playing against me, and I gave you the slip - I feel bad.

If you were the nurse playing against me, and you hit me - I feel bored.

    That is my point.

Not that getting hits is easy, not that survivors cannot outplay a Nurse, nor that there isn't an exchange between the killer and the survivor. Simply that she is unsatisfying.

That the simplicity of her ability and the perfection of its design makes her, fundamentally, completely boring when used correctly - and completely frustrating when used incorrectly.

Ok, that just sounds like you aren't enjoying the game as much, that sucks.

  • Probably, I mean, you don't have to try to convince people to play survivor

I got two people trying to argue with me - i apologize for saying that you accused me of straw-manning, it was PlaysByShady that did this, not you. An honest mistake.

I think we got off on the wrong foot and are having two different discussions about different things. Miscommunication.

II think we can all agree that - regardless of hypothetical, paper, or practice - The Nurse has the greatest POTENTIAL to down survivors if her power is used flawlessly.

This is the point I'm going towards, and it's the crux of what I was saying in correlation to satisfactory play.

There is no killer in the game, as of yet, who can reliably begin and punctuate 4 chases - 8 hits - on survivors in different locations within the course of 80 seconds.

And accomplishing these feats as the Nurse is a simple point and click. Binary. Get the hit or not.

Killers such as Blight, Demogorgon, Huntress, Cannibal, Hag, these killers CAN accomplish this. But in these circumstances, they are using their powers, there's anticipation and skill, and - moreover- there's time between abilities.

Nurse is, by far, the killer with the greatest mobility and pressure against survivors. I think we can all agree on that. She is capable of extremely lethal blinks and circumvents many aspects of gameplay that survivors otherwise could use to their advantage. This is not a debate, it's just the truth of her power.

I am not saying that she is outright more viable than other killers. I am not saying that other killers cannot get downs in such circumstances, nor am I saying that she is easy - or impossible to play against.

I am, however, saying that she is very strong - and the feast or famine nature of her playstyle mixed with the binary nature of her ability makes it less than an accomplishment to use than other killers in contrast.

Getting 5 back-to-back Huntress Hatchets takes skill and is a grand feat. Landing that long distance hatchet to predict a dead-hard is euphoric.

Perfectly timing a doctor blast to pacify a survivor to prevent them from dropping a pallet and securing a short chase is incredibly satisfying.

Using the Cannibal's chainsaw to catch up to a sprint-burst, and hitting them with the very tip of the final swing as they approach a vault - that is satisfying.

Getting a flick with the Oni's demon charge on an unsuspecting survivor, satisfying as hell.

Bouncing around and using glides and flicks to outwit a survivor as Blight is satisfying.

Tricking a survivor into a trap as the Trapper is satisfying.

Timing your chainsaw turn perfectly to instantly down a survivor in a tight loop as Hillbilly is incredibly rewarding.

Outwitting an opponent with Night Shroud as Ghostface is satisfying

Deducing a survivor's location from the environment and sounds to exit your phase with a deadly lunge as the Spirit is satisfying.

Pointing at the survivor and blinking on top of them. Eh.

Some people say FPS games are boring because it's 'just clicking on heads' . Nurse is similar in that way.

Sure, it may require skill to do reliably, there is a bit of anticipation.

But if you land on top of a survivor that doesn't have dead hard, you get the hit/grab. It's just that simple.

Nemesis requires timing and positioning, Blight needs to be deliberate with rushes, but blinking with the nurse is... cheap.

It always feels like I didn't earn it. I didn't need to predict the arc and velocity of a hatchet, i didn't skewer and reel a survivor, i didn't time my Hillbilly dash or cleverly cut off survivors with a Cenobite chain. I just... clicked myself over to them. Sometimes I don't do it right. But that's it.

it's almost as if the Huntress had hatchets with no parabolic arc or change in velocity - always straight all the time, and the hatchets went through walls. The time held determines the distance traveled. The skill becomes binary. Cover doesn't matter, location doesn't really matter. All that matters is if the Ghost Huntress misses or not. It's completely binary. If she is aware of your location, she can place a ghost hatchet where you are and injure you from a considerable distance away. In this silly example, hopefully you can understand when I mean there is a lack of satisfaction from a 'cheap' aspect. if Huntress hatchets worked this way - going through walls, floors, roofs, and all terrain - being perfectly accurate to the pointed location. Huntress would have an ability that was binary. it would be skill based, because you'd have to slightly lead targets.; But so long as you know where people are, you can hit them. The power - in this case - is a perfect power, but it is up to the user to miss and mess up. Huntress would be a LOT less satisfying to play like this, because in this case there is no legitimate skill to knowing her arcs and charge times - hitboxes - and having precision to thread obstacles with her power. You just point towards an enemy and let it go. It hits - or it misses. Binary.

Highly potent, extremely dangerous, circumvents the conventional style of play, and is nearly inescapable if executed in all of is beautiful simplicity.

But it's a human power. And humans are flawed, humans make mistakes, humans misjudge things.

She is not held back from her ability, she is held back from her humanity - and the ability to make critical mistakes.

This is the point I'm making.

NOT that she's unstoppable. NOT that she's broken. NOT that she can get hits in the open when other killers cannot. NOT that I hate her oooh I hate her or anything like that.

Her power is SIMPLE and it is almost PERFECT. It basically cannot, by its own merit, fail.

It is a binary power. You either used it right, or you didn't use it right.

If you used it right, they are dead. If you didn't use it right, enjoy the fatigue.

Her ability isn't a complex mechanic or countered effect. It doesn't require anticipation or setup, it cannot be stopped by conventional means. It is a button.

It brings me no pleasure knowing that pressing a button correctly alone wins me the game. That there are no mind-games and only 'the button' - nothing else matters - and this is boring. And Ii believe there are many others on both sides who feel the same way.

We can disagree on many things. But Ii hope we do not have to disagree on the viability of the Nurse or the simplicity of her ability.

I agree with all of that except where you are taking survivor agency out of the equation. What you are in effect stating is that every time I got away from a nurse blink, it's completely because they messed up, and I just don't buy that for a second. I could be reading that wrong, I've had a very long day

If the player knows how to play the nurse, you cannot do anything. Also, some build are really broken with her.

    Scourge + agittion

    Starstruck + agitation

    Starstruck + make your choice

    etc...

Come on now I escaped at least half the time against nurses and I only play Survivor drunk as #########, and without any meta perks aside from Kindred. Even when I do die to one I never feel like I had no chance, in fact generally I can point to exactly what I did wrong, and again, while drunk as #########.

Also starstruck only works if you're stupid enough to hang around the killer while they're carrying somebody.

If all of my time playing solo Survivor has taught me any one lesson, it's that people really like trying to make survivor sound a lot more difficult than it actually is. I'm not amazing. I don't study or practice. I pour myself a whiskey, pick survivor, and have a wonderful night. Frankly the biggest threat to solo survivors in this game is other survivors. I've lost far more games due to having teammates that don't know how to work as a team unless they're on a headset than I have to Killers who are so good that the outcome was inevitable.

  • Dude, do you know how difficult it is to make corn that looks that ######### pretty? Can you blame the game for being proud of it?

I said if they do within 15 - 30 sec i still find 1 minute no big deal. Im just telling that says it's gonna be abused that it's only made for the first 30 sec so if you have a insta DS that's the whole point... yall are the one complaining about 1 min even 30 sec...I think 1 minute i just fine like the match has barely started but well sh*t can happen in 1 min and a bad start might lead to the survivors cancelling so maybe 30 sec is more appropriate...

Ur taking everything LITERALLY im just giving suggestions to people saying it's "to long"

another option would be removing the dc penalty since people obviously doesn't care... but well blight, twins and nurses would be dodged

Yes, it's difficult to read into what is figurative and what is literal in text.

You must not have played before the DC penalty. Suffice to say, it got nuts. I think I went a whole month without Playing a full game that nobody disconnected in.

+ tons of other games have it without abuse i've played competitive competitive cs with similar options NEVER been abused (now i know its not really the same thing since you face different killer in dbd with differnet powers)... And once again double the DC penalty or something so peopel only disconnect if they actually have to go and a SWF would STILL HAVE TO WAIT 10 minutes for a match after DCing

Yes. Tons of other games, where each side has the same amount of players, are able to institute a voting system. That's kind of my point though. Voting only works when both sides are equal. In DbD, by design one side is always a single person, and therefore would lose Every Single Vote. That's just plainly not fair to the team of 1, and no effort to balance it out wouldn't create more unfairness on one side or the other.

    @FlameGNG said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2889344#Comment_2889344

yes but the problem with that is well 99% of all killers would vote no and take an almost guaranteed win

It's interesting that you are able to see how voting would fail if it's the killer who ultimately gets to decide, instead of the survivor team (who again would win Every Single Vote by the nature of there being at least 2 more survivors than there are killers voting.)

No other killer can cross an open field, hit a survivor, then re-acquire them with a final hit within the span of 5-6 seconds.

Even other high mobility killers such as Blight or spirit cannot boast this. Trap based killers such as Trapper or Hag can only in very specific circumstances where their traps are triggered.

Getting hit by a killer in the open gives you a speed boost - which gives you distance. Even if the killer closes it, you can make it to a jungle gym. But not if they teleport behind you and unsheathe katana while whispering 'Nothing personnel, Entity."

The point is not at all about positioning - but also, in truth, she can reliably accomplish this with minor assistance.

Hit someone by the stairs in Midwich, hear them go upstairs - see their aura perhaps. Nothing they can do. Normal killers would need significant foresight, luck, preparation, or blind coincidence to have them run into a trap or next to a generator you're teleporting to as Demo-dog or Freddy.

Nurse, you just look up and press the button for 1.5 seconds to be on top of them again.

You accuse me of straw manning, but you're intentionally ignoring the raw power of the Nurse's skill to try and prove a point.

"You accuse me of straw manning, but you're intentionally ignoring the raw power of the Nurse's skill to try and prove a point."

Just to note, I went back and read my replies to you, and at no point did I ever accuse you of making a straw man argument... In fact until you said that I had made that accusation, the thought hadn't even crossed my mind. I do find myself wondering now if you are intentionally making bad faith arguments though, since you seem so overly eager to defend against the (nonexistent) accusations of the same.

  • @Valik said:

    Reliably.

And no, I'm sorry, but especially in the midwich example, you cannot do this with another killer.

Again, you are literally trying to make-believe away that the Nurse has, quantifiably, the most powerful ability in the game - which circumvents the conventional utilities of a trial.

As reliably as I can aim, which after playing a lot more 1st person shooters on console, is pretty reliable... Certainly much better than the times I've tried to play nurse and consistently over or under blinked, letting the survivor get away scot free.

Midwitch has a large open field now? Are we talking the same Midwitch? The one that's literally just hallways, small rooms full of broken furniture and a small courtyard full of shrubs and garden walls?

Yes. Nurse has a very unique power that lets her handle loops more efficiently and even go through walls... I've never denied that. That doesn't make your terrible examples any less terrible. Nurse is strong, but even with practiced nurse mains, she's not unbeatable, we've literally thousands of hours worth of footage showing that. Her steep learning curve, added to the mind game that is required to use her power effectively, have kept her on the bottom of the kill rankings for a reason (even with the many, many survivors who have stated they DC/suicide on hook immediately against her, which would raise that percentage).

Perhaps if you spent some time playing as nurse, you would better understand the built in limitations of her power, and just how easy it is for survivors to get her to slip, even with aura reading perks. If you're just running away in a straight line and dropping pallets like she's trapper, then yeah, you're going to have a bad time. However if you pay attention to your surroundings, work the jukes and double back on yourself at the right time (comes with practice) she becomes the most fun killer to face. (Seriously one of my favorite things in this game is the rush you get after making a nurse blink past you)

  • @SS007 said:

I've always played 80% killer and I was excited learning my favorite killers and climbing to rank 1 that I couldn't get to yet rank 3 is my max so far but it started to feel meh I keep thinking if I should play killer these day and I get a weird feeling of anxiety because it feels like a chore the same stressful prosses of chasing good survivors through 20 pallets and infinite loops even winning doesn't feel satisfying because you need to sweat and fry your braincells for it, feels more like torture.

As soon as you get your first hook 3 gens are already done, maps are too big while everyone hears your terror radius they hide somewhere and they keep dodging you since killer FOV is limited and you play hide and seek into chases and poof all gens are done .

The anxiety of having to face SWF sabo squads that are so effective you can't do anything just doing well through a series of matches bumped me into some sort of high mmr, everyone is clicking flashlights and t-bagging can't even count how many times it happened and from all of these experiences and how difficult killer is I just don't feel like playing it that much anymore, I improved at nurse I can get good games with her but she's not fun to play.

Played so many multiplayer games, even the infamous League of Legends which I've been playing since 2014 doesn't feel as toxic or exhausting to play as killer in DBD.

Thinking of playing killer gives me anxiety but survivor feels chill and sorta fun even if I get face camped or tunneled or hit on hook it's not as miserable as getting bullied by survivors when you play killer and it's way easier to pip that killer .

When I started DBD I used to play killer for 10 matches straight without getting bored but now after 1 match I just feel exhausted and not mentally prepared for another one till tomorrow.

I bet you can find a copy of F13... The servers are dead, but they added a bunch of solo stuff where you stalk npc counselors... May be a good way to take a break, while still (kind of) playing something very much like the experience you're looking for.

As others have said, if a game is affecting your mental health, step away. There are millions of games in the world, you've only got 1 mind.

but i still dont get how its abused if it only applies to DCs within the first 15 sec?? its not like your going to ######### up that hard in 15 sec... hell 15 sec is not even enough for the killer to start a chase with you maybe if its a blight or hillbilly....

Youve gone from 1 minute, to 30 seconds, now to 15. To me that's a sign of how broken the overall idea really is.

Yes it sucks when people DC, but if you have to shorten the time for the "fix" to the first 15 or even 30. seconds of a match? Then the only ones that will occur is when a swf doesn't like the map/killer, so one immediately leaves and the rest vote to end, meanwhile the killer is completely overruled because they're solo, making it feel like they are being forced, since it won't matter which way they vote.

In my experience survivors who are prone to quitting do so after they've been downed the first time, which generally takes longer than 30 seconds.

There are two ways to do a vote. Either every player gets 1 vote, meaning the killer loses every single vote because they're only 1 person. Or each side gets a vote, which is a recipe for neverending stalemate. Neither sounds like a particularly fun time to me.

Personally I'd much rather they just do what DbD mobile already does, and have bots replace disconnected players, at least that way there's still a game, and nobody feels bullied because they got outvoted and didn't have a chance.

  • Honestly I think removing the stalk cap would almost be enough on its own, while only being a very small boost to the tombstone and piece.

I think he needs a clown sized rework as a lot of his mechanics are outdated especially the limited power resource, my idea would be:

change his base stats to this

    base Ms/ 4.6

    terror radius 24 meters

his tiers are removed and instead his power works like this

    Evil Incarnate

Activating Evil Incarnate allows The Shape to see his prey clearly and build up more Evil Power by stalking them:

    SPECIAL ABILITY: Stalk

Press and hold the Power button to stalk all visible Survivors and gain Evil Power charges.

the survivors Evil Power charges resource limit is removed. Instead when the shape fully stalks a survivor additional stalking has its speed reduced by 50% for all fully stalked survivors except the obsession who can be stalked at full speed all match.

    SPECIAL ABILITY: Evil unleashed

When the Evil Power meter is full press the Power button to activate Evil Unleashed (you don't need to 99% anymore)

you cannot stalk while Evil Unleashed is active

    60 seconds duration

Evil Power charges deplete over the course of the 60 seconds duration

    all survivors are exposed

    increases vault speed by 15%

increases speed of breaking pallets/breakable walls and damaging generators by 15%

increases lunge duration to 0.6 seconds (increases lunge range like it dose on live)

    SPECIAL ABILITY: Evil Within

Press the Alternate ability button (the vault/kick button) to consume 25% of the total Evil Power charges

cannot be activated when you have less than 25% total Evil Power charges

you can still stalk while Evil Within is active

gain the undetectable status effect for 15 seconds

can be activated while Evil Unleashed is active at the cost of reducing its duration by 15 seconds

using Evil Within while Evil Unleashed is active plays this global sound stinger (copy the link to hear the sound effect from the dbd wiki) https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/deadbydaylight_gamepedia_en/images/6/64/Shape_EvilWithin_Tierup_Warning.ogg/revision/latest?cb=20171008204223

pressing the alternate power button again while Evil Within is still active refreshes its duration and dose not play the global stinger sound effect if Evil Unleashed is active.

with all these changes Myers identity stays the same but he is more about balancing recourses and deceiving survivors like how in the movies even when he is chasing Laurie he often appears out of nowhere even towards the end of the movie.

This is a fascinating idea. Complex, but awesome.

One other idea I had, just to make him closer lore-wise to the movies, is give him a limited teleport.

So he can teleport, but only to the obsession (similar to the pinhead teleport, where he ends up like 15 ft away), and when he does, he suffers a short movement speed penalty (maybe 2-5%) that way he can scare the hell out of the obsession at will, but won't get "free" hits. Would also be down for a token system so he only gets like 3 teleports per match.

  • Not in my experience. Though I do play survivor drunk, maybe that's why I'm able to juke nurse, she can never guess what I'll do if she's limiting herself to the options a sober individual would take, lol.

Seriously though, played 1 Match as blight, maybe 3 as nurse and hundreds if not thousands against both as solo survivor, usually drunk, on console. I'm quite far from the "SWF seal team 6" types, yet even matched with nurse bringing full slowdown and her iri addons, I've escaped as often as I've died, which seems fair and balanced to me.

  • If it was kept a hex, that would insure it never made it past the first gen.

If it wasn't a hex, at that point it would actually be overpowered.

It's a fun idea, I just don't see how it could work and not feel even shittier for one side or the other.

I can do it with 2 hatchets on Huntress, just gotta lead the target a bit with the 2nd one. In fact I've done that several times, hell even on my main shocky boi, if I catch you in the open, you're toast. Yeah, you may just make a pallet, meanwhile I'm right behind you building bloodlust, and unless you used DH to get there, am about to get the first speed boost from it.

Blight can as well, while there is a speed boost, it's not so significant that a ranged or high mobility killer can't allow for it. And aura reading isn't something that is only available on nurse.

I Will agree though, trapper and hag are both virtually useless unless their traps are triggered, but again I hardly see that as evidence of an issue with the nurse.

I never said it's every time - and in my example, I clearly used a field.

In an open field, survivors are very, very easy to blink to.

The point of my statement was not to suggest that this was EVERY blink or EVERY instance. But going from healthy to downed just because you happen to be in the open and don't have 'easy outs' like Dead Hard is never satisfying.

And even when I play her, yeah - sometimes it's nice to make dirtbag survivors eat those flashy clicks from earlier. But hopping on someone while they can't do anything - taking them down in under 10 seconds... it feels scummy.

    Scummy thing is my opinion.

But the fact that the nurse can reliably execute such feats is what makes it less satisfying and more annoying on both sides.

In an open field, survivors are pretty much screwed no matter who the killer is. I mean, there's a reason all the walls and jungle gyms exist. The idea that nurse is somehow overpowered because she, like every other killer, has an advantage when the survivor is out of position like that is more than a little ridiculous

I don't know how anyone can think that. My typical matches against Nurse are like I load in, hear the screech. 15-20 seconds later a teammate is down, then my gen eats a pain resonance, maybe a DMS too, and I know it's over before I really even got a chance to play.

Because the part of this game I love the most, on both sides is strategy and mind games. Nurse forces me to switch up both and stay on my toes to have a chance, it's like facing a dark souls boss, without the predicability of attack patterns.

Nurse is problematic for the game, everyone knows that

I don't believe that at all.

Exactly. Honestly I believe that they need to come up with more unique killers instead of limiting them like they do currently. I'm not saying create Nurse 2.0 but at least something that is a bit of a step up from Onryo.

Personally I enjoy going up against a good Nurse. Makes the game feel scary and exciting like it did when I first learned how to play.

This is great until the lit totem ends up being right next to where the killer hooks someone so then they just camp the survivor + their NOED.

Then you just leave and the killer is stuck with a 1k. That easy.

  • As you've already probably noticed from the replies, we have a stubborn, immature, childish subset of people who think DCing or suiciding against nurse is the way to have her nerfed, as even though she has been reworked several times, they really don't want to have to deal with a killer so unique.

  • Horizon Forbidden West. If I'm going to fight robots all the time it may as well be part of the (excellent) plot

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/317460/you-have-not-time-to-cleanse-all-totems-if-killer-has-anti-gen-perks

Noed is horrible vs a sweaty swf but very meta vs solo que or just teams that don’t cleanse totems in general. If we could delete noed and dead head together that would be nice

Except they both have a use and a reason, and those reasons aren't really connected like that. Broadly speaking yes, they are both "Second chance" perks. However NOED exists as a gamble for a significant, short lived power spike at the endgame, whereas dead hard exists to extend a chase in the middle game. Neither requires full removal, or even that big of a rework (in fact there's a thread out now that more or less fixes the biggest issue with both)

  • Have him get all his traps, put in place an escalating cooldown that is removed by walking so if he tries to cheese one spot, it takes forever.

are people really trying to condone slugging by talking about the super low number of people who actually sabo hooks? lol. it never ceases to amaze me the length people will go to justfiy slugging 4 people is incredible.

Not trying to justify anything. Personally I don't slug unless absolutely necessary as I think it's the most boring option, but the reason it exists is because sabotage exists. That's just the way the game is built. The game devs didn't want sabotaging hooks to mean there was no danger, therefore, bleeding out on the ground.

If they wanted to remove slugging they could, but they would need to adjust the sabotage mechanic or give killers a way to fix hooks to balance it out.

  • Have you tried reinstalling?

  • Slugging exists because sabotaging hooks exist.

I mean, when you get right down to it, that's the reason for the mechanic, is survivors are able to sabo hooks, then the killer has to have a way to counter it, instead of having some way for the killer to fix the hook, they went with slugging as that counter.

A killer I played against had plenty of fun dancing with me and my snowmen team.

And my grandpa had a swell time with a stick and a hoop, other people need a bit more

It was also a temporary event for fun.

Crazy concept but remember fun? It's the thing people are supposed to have when they play games. Anyone complaining about snowmen needed to go touch grass

Had they allowed killers to throw snowballs or something, even if it did nothing, I think the response would have been better. Sure it was fun, but only one side got anything fun to do.

    April Fool's prank?

I think Scott is a guy who hangs out on this forum sometimes. Guess he finds videos easier than typing.

  • I got given the hatch once because my teammates kept running to me when they were chased. After the third time the killer quit peeling off after me, so I was the last one left alive

  • WMI only works after an unhook, right?

So you're trading utility for speed. Sure it's a quicker heal, but you can't use it to reset after getting wounded and away.

Also, as noted above, if the one with the perk gets hooked, you get 0 benefit.

Don't get me wrong, if I'm going for an unhook challenge, I'm all over WMI, but I don't think it has a varied enough range of use to be considered the best healing perk.

  • 1. You don't get a good enough sample size for any mmr test in the ptb. You only end up with a fraction of PC players, most of them long time vets if the game. For any sort of matchmaking test you need people of all skill levels, not just those so into a game they're willing to screw around on the ptb for no reward.

    2. I'd rather they keep testing and working on it than just leave it how it is.

    3. They aren't even testing today ya shrub!

Ah, thanks for the translation. That could definitely be possible.

Unfortunately, I also feel as if Borrowed Time and/or Decisive Strike and an Endurance perk are required or you are seriously handicapping yourself.

Honestly I feel like decisive is very overrated. I shared my build with you before so you know I don't bother taking it, as I feel like you end up developing bad Survivor habits by having it and the five second stun isn't really a big enough deterrent to tunneling to make it worth it for those bad habits, if that makes sense.

Borrowed time is definitely useful against camping killers but it's another perk that I think has the very strong potential to teach you bad habits

one time in the tutorial i tried to hide in a locker till every gen was completed, then the AI randomly walked all the map and got me out of it, on that day i thought "Bro this is so op, if they did an AI and you didnt knew as a player you would try to hide and the bot would pin point you", well the cheaters made it.

Meanwhile nemesis zombies get stuck into ######### (but when they work they just pinpoint the heck outa of you and its annoying)

Honestly I think they made the zombies that dumb on purpose, to keep it feeling fair.

  • I believe He thinks the data you presented is skewed not because the perk isn't as popular, but because in any swf, only 1 person needs to bring it, unlike say, dh or D's, which every member has to bring to take advantage of, which will definitely drive down the usage.

At least someone understands how it works

I fear it is to late for him to understand as he has told himself that he's right.

Some people just want to argue/fight with everyone who is not agreeing with them, even if they know they are wrong.

Sometimes it's just shouting into the void, but a man needs hobbies, lol.

Honestly Friday was a good contender except for the lawsuit and the hacks. The game was fun whenever you start up the car and run someone over.

If it wasn't for the lawsuits killing it, I'd still be playing F13

    Ok, the pallet I like.

How does dropping it on a downed survivor then start healing them good though?

Finally, does dropping a flashbang out of a locker cause you to escape a killer if they grab you out of the locker? That's nifty.

It's usually good when a killer is slugging and you just need a bit to pick your teammate back up. A lot of killers wait out or turn around on the blind, so it buys a bit of time.

Yes, If you time it right you pop out right before they grab, leave your present, and hop back in. The reason I hop back in? The killer always runs off, I figure they think I'm using the blind to get away, so they go looking. I've only had 1 where they opened the locker.

The discussions on the Steam forums were a bit melodramatic and plagued by shill trolls. It was the logical step I guess. (Otherwise yes, I've seen some very weird crap there and on the Discord)

I guess so. I was a mod on a wrestling forum for like 5 years and we never even considered a purge like that, if you want to see melodrama and toxicity go no further, lol. Seriously we'd get the type of troll that has to have a character and a backstory and everything for their trolling.
