I'm pretty certain it's intended that you can get hit while throwing down a pallet and stunning the killer. If you mean like when you've already thrown the pallet and then get hit from the other side I agree.
-
@TragicSolitude hmm that would've been nice.
-
Demo and ghostface probably.

Legion was the first killer released after I started playing, and he looked lame from the get go. Plague was the first killer I was excited for and then disappointed by because of the changes made to her just before release. I've never gotten excited for a killer after that; I know better.
How was she different in the ptb? I don't remember that far back.
-
I don't know what this 'volumated fog' is and frankly I don't want to know. Just use a clear reagant, 4heads ~

I have nothing against regular claudettes but blendettes are awful. Unfun to go against or to have on your team. Equipping cosmetics that make you randomly disappear even during a chase on some maps is not 'stealth', any more than getting hit by a spirit because her passive phasing threw you off is her outplaying you. I played a match yesterday featuring two of these creatures, one had the silent slug glitch and vanished into some patch of grass or god knows where and the other one let her bleed out while urbaning around looking for the hatch. I'd rather get a 0k against survivors who actually play the game.

Rancor only exists as long as there's a living obsession. No obsession, no info. You have to keep them alive or waste a perk slot. But then you can down and kill them. But only if you find them. And they have all the info they need to avoid you.
I used rancor a lot in the past especially before DS was reworked, the bubbles show up even after the obsession dies.

@MadLordJack said:
Rancor only works in an "ignore the obsession" build. Even when a gen pops you have no real idea where the rancor is, they have no unique indicator and yet they get to see you. The only chance you have to get value out of it's secondary ability is in a build where you deliberately leave them alive til the gens are done and kill two other survivors. Or just run a more consistent perk that doesn't give someone the benefits of their own fifth perk.
I mean you don't have to wait until all gens are done and mori the obsession then you can take them out earlier and still get info without giving any away.

I was running Totem Protector Spirit and got 1 kill while trying to enjoy myself. The horror, I know.
"You ran all hexes and still lost" lmao
I love all-hex spirit, more so now retribution exists.
-
If escaping/killing were the only measures of success you'd see even more blendettes with keys and left behind and spirits with ebony + noed. Nein danke

I like using Rancor with Nemesis, Furtive Chase, and Whispers. Rancor Roulette I call it. You get to see the Survivors freak out as they pass it around.
That's fun, for me at least.
As for Rancor itself, I'm 90% sure it only exists just so you can complete the Mori Dailies without a Mori.
And no, it's not very fair, but meh; I also don't think it's a big problem.
I might try that, possibly with myc instead of whispers
-
I like being the rancor obsession. Makes the endgame way more tense than it usually is, also it's not like you're being tunnelled + moried off hook, you've actually had a chance to play the game.
-
Yeah this person is clearly a child lmao. One of the disadvantages of ps4 is the children. My mate (who is 30) once sent a salty message to a freddy who tunnelled him , and after they argued for ages and started accusing each other of being immature it transpired that the freddy was 11. He doesn't send salty messages anymore :')
-
I think it's 3 perks after 40 then 4 once 50. I think.

Can we not turn this thread into a hate train for someone this is so unnecessary.
I'm only taking the piss, I actually quite like him

Meg: *Throws down pallet*
Tru3: "INSANE SWF MAN!!!"
Survivors: *spend the first few minutes breaking hooks for no reason*
Tru3: "optimised gen team"
Survivor: *dead hards into a tree*
Tru3: "hmm he went for the mindgame there but it didn't work out"
-
What if you get an all-claud team?
-
There was never any talk of road to 60fps or console optimisation in dbd
-
Invisible fruit ninja - freddy with the mad grit/agitation/iron grasp combo and pill bottle
*hybridpanda voice* is that a f*cking object of obsession? - survivor with object of obsession, distortion, off the record (see how long you can go for without the killer realising you're running OoO)
-
It's very unlikely it'll be meta, for the people and breakout were complained about too and you rarely see those. You can even go to the ptb archives and see some of the old perks people were worrying about.
-
Yeah you should definitely report people wishing death on you/your family or calling you slurs in post game chat or elsewhere. Angry teens or not they clearly don't have the maturity to be playing PvP games if that's their response to losing.

I play DBD, should i post a picture of my dogs and cats and ask which one is cuter?
yes
-
They probably will buff him but one issue with buffing bubba is the same with buffing wraith, both of them are just used to camp at low ranks and it might just make that more effective. (Not that they don't both need improving)
Although I'm talking from my experience when I was new + rank isn't really a thing anymore, but back when I was a rank 15 survivor and the killers were also rank 15 and a LOT of games were a facecamping LF or wraith standing cloaked next to a hook the whole match. Dark times
-
@Peanits will the opt-outs be platform specific or will it be more all or nothing?
-
I was really not interested in any of the killers people thought it would be but I adore silent hill so hyped !!
-
Okay, we have the skull design people have been talking about along with the number 4 which may or may not be connected with this being the four year anniversary. But if you put them together...
...Four skull lookout is a location in Skyrim. The killer is a dragon. The survivor is your skyrim player character which you can now import. The big announcement tomorrow is that BVHR is being acquired by Bethesda.
-
Sadly probably not, although maybe another arbitrary terror radius increase.
-
I think pig is the only killer I haven't seen referred to as OP, although someone probably has.
-
What is with these posts today? So you're going to bring lots of moris, cool. What do you want us to do with this information?
-
If survivors want to wait 20 minutes for a match to then kill themselves instantly bc they don't like the killer I'm playing that's cool, your time is yours to waste.
-
I get you don't have many perks on her and none of those perks are particularly bad they just don't make much sense ran together. Try levelling some other killers, especially going for anti-gen perks. Even if you're playing spirit, if you aren't experienced with her gens will get done so stuff to stop or delay them is pretty essential. Corrupt intervention, ruin, pop goes the weasel etc. If you get a lot of practice with spirit you probably won't need any perks eventually, let alone a mori.

Yes yes YES.
Maybe remix it with small periods of sinister overtones.
But yes!!! Do it devs!!!
It could have that but also go full sinister when you're caught in the gas
-
Agree with blocked gens should be able to regress, would make dead man's switch much cooler. Otherwise ruin is decent on some killers, sometimes feels like it works better than the old one if you can interfere with them doing gens enough.

"weirdly not awful" is basically the most positive thing someone can say about that garbage Perk, lol.
Ahaha yeah high praise indeed
-
I got it with demo, territorial is weirdly not awful on him if you're doing basement stuff.

Generic toxic survivor on forums. If the devs say they're strategies. They're strategies. Its sole purpose isnt to stop survivor from playing. It's to win.
To be fair letswhinetogether isn't a generic survivor main at all, most of them you can actually have a discussion with.
-
You made some rookie blendette mistakes, like doing gens and saving others. There was also not nearly enough self care.
-
-
Ruin and devour hope, might as well go all out
-
Less blendettes, regular claudettes are fine. More any of the rarer ones except Quentin. Also I main Jake, he's pretty loud when injured imo

@Aneurysm it’s not always that simple. You can not tunnel all match to then have such a strategy bite you in the butt at endgame with survivors still under an active DS doing saves you as killer can’t do anything about.
i just eat it, get it out of the way and done with now. I like to try and get all DS out of the way as early as possible so it’s not something the survivors can’t use at endgame. There’s nothing worse than watching a downed survivor crawl all the way to safety out of an exit gate because I’m powerless as killer to stop them from doing it.
I know, just making a joke about how a lot of pro-DS arguments contradict each other
-
Well all you have to do to avoid DS is not tunnel, although it's not an anti-tunnelling perk, so if you don't tunnel and get DS'd, that's fine. You can avoid DS by slugging, although slugging is unfun for survivors so you shouldn't slug. Maybe you should eat it early although that might involve tunnelling, which is bad. Any more questions?
-
I've done quite a few killer adepts now but I probably won't go for all of them mainly bc nurse and huntress
-
Flip-flop has actually saved my ass a few times recently. Killers don't see it coming at all
-
I do miss it on legion as well. Because legion clearly wasn't annoying enough already
-
If it stays up, if you're planning on slugging a lot and if they're not SWF then yes it's very good but that's a lot of variables.
-
Exciting update: I hit a Feng with a sick hatchet throw from about 40 metres away. Never mind that I was actually aiming for a different Feng that was right in front of me.
-
If I see four survivors with flashlights I put on lightborn and enjoy a lot of free hits after breaking pallets/picking up a survivor. Also gens aren't going to get done very fast if you have three survivors come running everytime someone gets downed.
-
It's not good enough to be one. And the amount of people who run it would drop even further.
-
Bonus pic, my rat Barbara
-
my partner's cat. A bit disfigured from a dog attack as a kitten but a very friendly & happy boy
