What is your stream @GoodBoyKaru if you don't mind sharing it?
-
While it seems like a light-hearted post , let's not forget that nothing related to dbd ever happens without the sinister hand of the survivor main behind it, operating in the shadows, watching our every move, wrapping their tentacles ever tighter around the devs and puppeteering them towards the next unnecessary nerf.
-
Legion with haunted grounds or noed would be spicy
Edit: didn't read the second part, whoops
-
Jake as survivor. I like him.
Pig as killer, I'm just better at her than the others.
-
Not exactly fun but I never see them as survivor. I've had the piece once and double iris once (probably for the trophy) but he didn't get to t3.
-
Yeah I've had lerys once so far as survivor, it was so bad, no-one could play normally and another survivor just dc'ed after about 20 seconds

Watch some of Space Coconut's games. Hag is actually in a good spot. She has a low pick rate but the people who are really good with her get plenty of kills. She doesn't need a rework. After Nurse and Billys "rework" we all know that term really means nerf. Besides I'm sure Spirit and Huntress are next. The greedy survivor mains won't be satisfied until they are playing against bots.
nurse and billy may have been "reworked" but so were freddy, doc + LF
-
She's not weak in the slightest, she's one of the strongest killers. She just takes a lot of time to learn. If more people weren't put off by that and her playstyle this forum would be packed with threads demanding she gets nerfed asap but she just doesn't appeal to many people.

I mean there a very small I wouldn't mind it to David but that's it. Any other character and I'd probably hurl (if I make it through David's one which is unlikely since I don't do well with horror or gore lol)
That comment is why David has grey hair now :p
-
I tried a game with her and can barely aim my puke anymore since they changed (bugged?) her POV height
-
Depends, earlier today I had a meg I wasn't even chasing jump in a locker in front of me and I thought sure why not, four gens left, the others are injured and I know where they are, I'll get rid of it early. The best part was instead of sprinting off like a good meg she then tried to follow it up with a head on stun, messed it up and went back into Lisa's basement funhouse.
-
It's that team healer build that scares me more than the toolboxes honestly.
-
They could make it teleport you to a different hook if the killer stays in your area without other survivors, that's a more interesting effect.

I will upload lots of camping vids
That sounds extremely interesting, I can't wait to Like and Subscribe
-
How often do you get camped that you feel the need to spend your time doing this now? Bc it's very rare in my survivor games that someone is just facecamped from the start.
-
bc if those reasons are legitimate then people will add their own. Even accidental sandbagging = DC. Running straight at the killer after being unhooked = being hardcore tunnelled = DC. Chasing one survivor for 5 minutes straight and the others do gens = genrush = DC. Barely any games would end without at least one player disconnecting which is how it used to be and it was #########.

:)

I see no harm in it.

She has infinite traps. You know that right?
She can't have more than 10 on the map, that isn't infinite.

Don't worry I will use all my moris as soon as I can and I hope my fellows killers will do the same
I've got over 100 ebonies on some killers, I don't think I'm gonna do that.

@Peanits said:
Moris are on the list to be changed at some point, but I can't any details or dates just yet.
(Before any asks, yes, keys are too. That's not what this thread is about.)
🦀🦀🦀
Although it may not be feasible it would be nice if there was as little warning as possible when the time comes so there aren't several weeks of mori/key hell.
-
I'm gonna become what I've always disliked, a survivor that sits in the exit gate and refuses to leave
-
Midwich offering? What a psycho
-
He's only been on live for like a day, let's wait until people on both sides adjust to him first.
-
I do two quick ones to another survivor, one slow one towards killer

I guarantee Lopro chains will become a much complained about add on.
Billy catches you in an unsafe area? Instadown
Catches you at a loop and you pallet stun him? Enduring/spirit fury followed by instadown
Put the pallet down early? He chainsaws through and hits you, then follows for the M1
Billys would either rev the chainsaw, making you drop the pallet to defend yourself having it instantly destroyed, or lunge for enduring/spirit fury.
Theres so many ways he’s getting the hit now. With no downsides.
In fairness it is an ultra-rare, and not even in the top 5 most insane ones of those

What was the impetus for changing auras? I'm genuinely baffled. Every week I see a thread about changing struggle state to rounds of applause, and then they randomly hit us with am aura change out of left field. Is there a different forum? Hello?

yep I can't play killer at all, so far this is Bhvrs most damning mess up so far
Patch notes: fixed an issue where it was possible to play as killer
-
@Nobsyde said:
I expect:
- new bugs during the unhooks (currently: impossible to hit/grab a survivor while unhooking), with possibly some new hook tech mistakenly (re)introduced
- new audio bugs like "impossible to hear a survivor healing up" or "survivors stop making sounds after using quick and quiet"
- a TON of windows impossible to vault for Legion while in feral frenzy (this is a MUST, I will be very disappointed if they don't put this extremely funny easter egg in this patch, like they always do /s)
- perma overheating for hillbilly after, I dunno, being stunned while overheat
- Tinkerer doesn't trigger, as it should for 12 seconds after a generator is 70% repaired, but for 70 seconds after a generator is 12% repaired
- when two or more people try to blind the same killer which is using Lightborn, the killer explodes in 1000 confettis, the Konami Code starts playing and the next time one tries to launch DbD a game of Pac Man starts instead
I'm personally hoping for pig + deathslinger having their stun audio switched around.
-
probably an RBT, the build up would be pretty stressful though.

Not only that, but it is such bullshit when they do sometimes.
Last night I played against a really great Oni. And it was me and another Jane left in the end game collapse. He killed me and let her go. I stayed and watched because I wanted to tell him it was a really fun game. But the arbitrary letting her go was complete bullshit and of course it was no longer a "gg" because of that. I let the Oni know too that killers always feel like they are such a great person for letting people go and should feel good about themselves. And I let him know that this isn't the case and I hope he doesn't think he's a nice guy for doing that. ######### people like that Oni.
I missed this comment, why does letting the last one go annoy you? Most survivors seem pretty happy about it.
-
Only be nice to the other side if you're in a situation where they can't exploit it. If you want to give a survivor the gate when there's another on a nearby hook, they can crawl out. If you want to give a killer free exit gate hits, make sure you're far enough in that you'll auto-escape when downed (personal mistake). And most importantly of all, if you do mess it up don't send them salty messages after.

Homecoming had its issues but the boss design was great imo, scarlet was especially grim
-
Out of the ones I've done doc's was probably the most annoying (did it pre-buff)
Getting plague's wasn't so bad, the emblem part is harder but her perks are so good
-
Figure out at what times they usually do it. Most will keep doing the same thing if it works, call their bluff.
-
He was based on an old gunslinger of unknown name, but many of the details are the same. Instead of the gun design being stolen from him it was actually just described as dumb and gay af (the wild west era was actually pretty homophobic despite my impressions from brokeback mountain and westworld) anyway he then tried to shoot the villain who mocked his gun right in the face and instead ended up disembowelling him, forever earning him the name of "the cringeslinger"

Yeah, I know. It was just worded you know....the wording gave off that impression.
Kinda unrelated but they keep banning the more sensible people and letting the most biased + enraged ones run around still, gonna be a proper war between the biggest 'Mains' eventually

You don't start an anti-war thread by saying
"Killers are stressed, and survivors are being jerks."
It just doesn't work. I stated BOTH sides have their equal share.
I do not side with one or the other. How more non-bias do you want my post to be?
That obviously wasn't their intention though, it's just wording. I know your posts are pretty unbiased, but we're all kinda biased to some level which would include OP - their post still reads as genuine rather than some sneaky attack on survivors.
-
@BigBrainMegMain said:
You're assuming all survivors are a SWF.
And you want to call peace between survivors and killers? You're painting killers as Martyrs and survivors as #########.
I'm a solo survivor and a killer main, both sides are equally toxic to each other.
This is OP's point though, you respond with "well the way you described side X is much worse than side Y" You can't even ask for less tribal bs without what you say being analysed and the response being "you're clearly an X main tho"
You tried OP, it's a noble cause but possibly a futile one :)
-
If all survivors or the last survivor are slugged for long enough there should be an insta-death option. (No not dcing, keeping your points). Survivors being more toxic in general isn't a good argument against it, less opportunities for griefers to try and piss the other side off should be encouraged without devolving into the usual tribal bs.
-
No basic attack requirement, no cooldown. Even if you're getting multiple downs no one will sit there repairing the same gen while you down multiple people around them outside of a farm game. The effect isn't as strong as infectious fright, which doesn't have these conditions.

This would involve a conscious decision made by spirit to commit to the location she's in. What makes her so strong now is she can lock down the location she's currently in and if the survivor bolts she just phases and chases them down. These changes allow the same mind games to occur but it would force more commitment from spirit
Fair point.
-
I've no problem with changes to spirit that make it easier to tell when she's phasing but what stops the spirit from phasing on the spot without moving before reappearing? More effort + actively listening out for what the survivor is doing is involved but it's ultimately the same standing still trick that's the most complained about thing.
-
Yeah you should expect at least one OoO if you see a midwich offering and it isn't really counterable so...not encouraging DCing in-game but sometimes the match just doesn't have to start at all.
-
Personally I'd make predator an obsession perk, with the obsession leaving scratch marks while moving in any way.
