Honestly if I could like... Forget my native language (german) but got the ability to speak english flawlessly like an englishman in return I'd yell "deal!" in a heart beat anytime of the week. English is like the most beautiful (and useful) language in the world in my book. I envy you in this regard not gonna lie.
I love English and you can't beat it in terms of utility but German is a beautiful language 😍 I know not everyone agrees

Why don't you take your own medicine for killer? You want to ignore the stats because they are not approved by killers? Talking about me being a bad survivor and you can say such. And anyone that is honest knows gens are not going to fly against a rank 1 killer that is loaded down with gen slowdown perks. Most of the time they don't get done and killer has another easy victory to add to their tabs.

If you keep seeing killers "win with ease," maybe the problem isnt necessarily with the killers. Purposely go out of your way to waste their time while all the pallets are still up. Be the change you want to see while 3 other players enjoy the immunity, rather than expect a single player to be able to perfectly counter 4 people simultaneously.
It's pretty clear from their other comments they're type of the survivor who hides in lockers against frenzied legions then accuses them of hacking
As for the start game thing I'd assumed it's been scrapped at this point, given the radio silence

Seriously tho I get the issue people might have with it but in this very specific context the argument against it is just strange. Like the killing someone, eating them, cutting off their face and wearing it over your own is one thing, but now here's where things get inappropriate.

That drive killers to.play more sweaty because ######### losing to what are depressingly often a bunch of arrogant shites (props to the teams that aren't, y'all're lovely and I appreciate you), and that drives solo and smaller SWF parties to play sweatier just as a reflexive response and that drives even more killers to be sweatier and it's just a clusterfuck of people that wouldn't ordinarily be tryharding but are because it's that or get steamrolled.

I’m loving it on PS5.
I already felt competent as survivor, and good as killer on PS4. But now without the performance dips I feel like my skill has improved ten fold. I.e. I knew performance dips were handicapping me on PS4, but I didn’t realise just how MUCH it was handicapping me until playing this game on PS5.
It’s such a joy to play this game now. No more sudden disorientation.
Same, except I switched from ps4 to pc. Apart from auto-aim now every time I miss a hit it's actually my fault, it feels great

Didn't know he showed it atall/if there's a video - but I can verify the truth to the statement, crossplay has actually been one of the best things they've ever introduced because of this if you're a good/comp level player. Wanna play for fun, ######### about, play with less experienced friends, have a chill/funny match? Crossplay on. Wanna play with a strong premade and go vs a sweaty af killer? Basically ranked/comp mode. Crossplay off.
And again to clarify, because some people don't understand this - crossplay off on PC isn't about PC players being better than players from other platforms - it's about the fact basically the only people turning crossplay off are the actual good players
Ah ok, yeah I get you now. When crossplay first came out I was on ps4 only, and I had it on for survivor and off for killer - the performance on console was even worse than usual and I really wasn't into the idea of potentially going against people with a stable 60FPS, if not more. But I was playing killer at PS4's "sweat hours" where almost everyone seems to be playing as a 3-4 man swf who manage do get two gens done while you're loading in, and I like playing weak killers with weird perks/addons for the most part so I thought F it, crossplay can't be much worse than this, and it actually got a lot better. No disrespect to any players who like to give it everything they've got every match but that sorta thing ain't my bag, baby

To clarify: as Otzdarva has shown, the sweatiest players turn crossplay off and have created their own private ecosystem of tryharding and borderline competitiveness on each respective platform, despite the fact that DbD isn't competitive in any real sense.

I don't think I've ever had a killer game where most survivors were stealthy that I thought of as a good match.
Some aspects of looping are unfun. i.e. survivor runs around a piece of debris 3-5 times, dead hards, circles another time, throws pallet: dull as shìt.
Jungle gyms and the shack are both really fun to run on both sides imo, possibly my favourite part.

it’s actually not as bad as I though it would be as Nurse! Aiming with Huntress and Deathslinger seemed more painful to me..

I've also 4ked as wraith with much worse perks and addons than that. Same goes for clown, trapper and legion, and most regularly pig who I assume are all also S-tier now as a result of my personal experience. Or I'm actually just a god at this game (I am not)

I do the same thing, if I see a console player and their gt already sounds like a noob then I’ll dodge. Usually I look at their time played and kills/escape ratios before I decide. But yeah I agree console players have a major disadvantage and most don’t even know.
Eh, I escape from pc killers probably about as much as from console ones. I never really relied on 360s to save my arse tho (a lot of the ones who did probably have crossplay off by now)

@Buttercake can you just not go in that specific downstairs area? There's nothing much there apart from a totem/a chest/the hatch. But you might not always get much choice going down at all if the killer wants to basement hook you and it's there

Eh, I used to take the bags for a few free hits but a lot of survivors will wait right on the edge or use deadhard to make sure you don't even get that. So if it's a 4E they can do their thing and I'll break pallets or check reddit or grindr or something
As survivor I just leave once I know everyone's safe and got their last minute heal points. Sometimes I then spectate the others spend the entire endgame collapse teabagging and flashlight clicking a killer who isn't even nearby, that's some real gaming right there
Edit: the first time I played plague was a 4E, they all waited to teabag me and I smacked all of them out with one burst of corrupt purge, now that was pretty funny
