Crotus penn, macmillan, midwich, weirdly enough meat plant isn't too bad either.
Ormond, haddonfield, yamaoka, swamp and the other indoor maps aren't ideal
If like me you end up on indoor maps with him a lot (hi lerys 3/5 games) slam duration addons can be a blessing

Assuming the survivors are using them well, 4 dead hards is irritating. 4 sprint bursts is a nightmare

Survivors are sick of the grind. Sick of getting into games and instantly chased and killed. Sick of op perks and killer builds. Games should be fun and playing survivor isn’t 90% of the time. You see the same killers on the same maps, using the same sweaty builds. The dcs are a reflection on morale.
And survivors are tired of teammates dc'ing after being downed once so stick to the game you've signed up for or stick to tetris
-
Yeah those of us on ps4 and xbone knew switch was gonna be a disaster from the start as the game barely functioned on our platforms.
I'm also wondering if there are any switch nurse mains now. Is that level of masochism possible?

Top 3 worst killers? That was in ptb. They now easily A tier killer imo -if not even S tier-. I don't main them, but i play against all 24 killers, good twins/bad twins players. So i think i can judge better.

Shift+W you mean? yes every killer will have to face this boring method. how to solve this? make maps smaller. and nerf some killers in 1v1 you will have much more fun gameplay for both sides.
I meant more is trapper so oppressive in the 1v1 that these tactics are necessary? I see your point about some killers, I play pretty much the same way is the survivors in OP's clip when I get a slinger for example but I don't see the need with the vast majority of killers. Also Trickster was a killer you mentioned and I think nerfs are the last thing he needs.

(Shift+W with Gen Rush) blame Devs for creating/buffing killers with no real counter in 1v1. How to loop Nurse on pallet? or Deathslinger? or Trickster? or Victor/Twins? They win 1v1 easily, also with how many dead zones now, what did you expect survivors to do? ofc i will shift+w until i die next to op tree.
This what happen when you remove real counters like looping pallets/windows to please the killers. cuz killers will NEVER be pleased.
And this is applicable to trapper?
-
I'd be fine with that, if the nerf kept it potentially strong while making it less punishing for solo queuers
and if they made more hex perks that punish survivors for ignoring totems, since the undying nerf the only killer perks that encourage survivors do cleanse dulls are noed and...thrill of the hunt

Oh, don't get me wrong, I play Killer and Survivor (Survivor more than Killer, but I play both nonetheless). Regression/Slowdown perks are completely mandatory so I get WHY they're tunneling/camping, doesn't make it fun for Survivors. I typically, if I see Ruin, leave it up until either 2 gens were completed, or after at least 2/3 hooks have been made (depends on the speed of the hooks) because I know how painful it is to have your strongest perk negated at the start of the match.
That's very nice of you but you don't have to go that far, I mean I'd be pretty happy with you if you left my ruin alone as killer, less so if you were my teammate 😅

Apparently nobody is allowed to have any humour anymore.
Killers are a disadvantaged group within the dbd community, mocking their lived experiences is nothing less than violence.

I usually hate it too. If a killer does good. It can make even the best survivors look terrible. But yea I never said they were the best. Just examples of trickster gameplay is all.
Camping Felix probably wasn't neccesary. But at that point I was feeling what you were feeling "what the hell are they doing". So I was trying to end it as fast as I possibly could.
Yeah I doubt they were making a glorious comeback either way
-
I wouldn't have any killer that has useless addons in S-tier, so no Myers. I'd put PH down even further, not only are almost all of his addons useless, they're boring af. Trickster's aren't so bad, he has some very interesting purple ones.
-
I normally dislike the "well the survivors were just bad" but my god what were they doing in that first match? I don't think it was exactly necessary to camp the Felix there either...
-
It's not rare for the first few gens to go quickly, but it's less common for them to keep flying even if you're racking up downs and hooks relatively fast. If that is happening and you've got a pretty gen obsessed team you might want to start slugging, and slugging hard if necessary. They aren't holding back, there's no reason you should.
-
No idea. I'd like if tier 3 actually did something to the point survivors might want to consider trying to stop him getting it. Currently you only want to stop him getting tier 2 which he will anyway. Maybe tier 3 should be something much stronger but temporary and repeatable, like myers
like a rocket launcher -
They may be slow but they can still harass you off gens, which is especially annoying with ruin.

But he doesn't really need 3 hits. that's only when there are vaccines and yet there is only 4 that can be used through the entire trial. His tier 3 may be limited but hits instantly so as long as your close enough to a survivor you just swing and they cant dodge, like with pyramid head or huntress. as well as that although the zombies get stuck everywhere, they are the only extra support ever given to a killer that is external to any of the killers ability's. The zombies can attack but they are also used for increasing contamination level, which is pointless since the level never runs out. you just get tier 3 and your done, never having to worry about hitting zombies or contaminating survivors again. Nemesis is one of the most powerful killers mainly because once your found, unless the killer literally has no clue on how to play and somehow loses you, you are dead.
It's three hits per survivor the first time, all with a speed boost on each hit, and assuming each survivor vaccinates it's another three the second time. And the tentacle definitely can be dodged unless you're in animation lock as with huntress and PH. Slinger and plague are the ranged ones where there's not much you can do when out in the open but the tentacle is pretty short range, thin (although you can flick it somewhat) and kinda janky to use.

Other killers may have the same concept to ignore pallets or go through windows, but with nemesis you cant escape. He can hit through pallets windows making it impossible to escape because even if he misses, he doesn't take that long to be back to normal and his tier 2 can break pallets making any loops useless
I think it's balanced out by a limited range even in tier 3 as well as needing three hits with the tentacle.
-
Nemesis really isn't that bad, he's pretty average. People were freaking out over pyramid head last year as the most oppressive, gamebreaking killer ever and he's fine (and stronger than nem). They added a killer who can teleport through walls and ignore all windows and pallets in their first year and that didn't kill the game off either.

As it's kinda related I just heard killer instinct doesn't proc in frenzy if the survivor is oblivious, is this intended?
-
I get undetectable but oblivious? Between that and the basic attack change you're really limited on what you can use on legion huh

I agree with you. But the thing that bothers me is that a lot survivor mains want those few killers nerfed that CAN challenge these hardcore teams. When we look at tournaments even nurses and spirits struggle against teams like that. I think killers should have few very high skillcap killers that you rarely see in lower level games. Most of the time rank 15-20s survivors complain abaut wraiths while more skilled survivors abaut nurses, spirits, etc
I mean I can live with making spirit the official comp killer and restricting her to kyf accordingly

I got it on my 2nd game, because dbd crashed as I was carrying the last survivor to the hook on my 1st :')
It crashed as I was about to complete my four traps as trapper archive :)
-
There's a lot of ways to save frim the killer's grasp and they have to be some combination of difficult, situational or counterable because it can be completely game changing. Practice flashlight timing in kyf and also play some killer to gain some empathy for the other side, both will make you a better player and understand the game more.
-
Ew no. If you had teammates who couldn't or wouldn't do gens with ruin up and it was in a good spot the killer could go on 4 minute chases and still win anyway. And now it'd be paired with undying as well. And pop, which would synergise with it again.
-
It's amazingly strong on him so I can't blame people running for running it but it does get old.
My usual blight build uses half those perks as well - tinkerer / bbq/ dragon's grip / trail of torment

....n- no....no it's not even close to being compared to Spirit, are you high? The activation time alone for both speed boosts makes them vastly different, plus the whole Spirit is invisible thing kinda gives her the edge over a big ass hulking Clown stomping your way. Activation time for the speed boost for Clown takes 2.5 seconds after the bottle breaks and the gas is released. For Spirit it's 1.5 seconds to activate hers. Clown only gets a 10% speed increase where ass Spirit's movement speed becomes 7.04m/s. I don't know the exact math on that, but I think Spirit goes faster. Duration though is the same at 5 seconds. But no...Clown is no where near being as fast as Spirit with her power, again just off of activation time alone makes this not even close.
Edit: I was right, Spirit is still waaaay faster than Clown with her speed boost to where they're not even in the same continent. As stated before, while in phasewalk her movement speed becomes 7.04m/s. For reference the normal movement speed for killers is 4.4m/s (survivors are at 4.0m/s). Speed boost that Clown's antidote gives him changes his movement speed from 4.4m/s to just 5.06m/s. Yeah no...not even close to Spirit.
Clown being slower than spirit only makes him more lethal. The speed of killers like spirit or blight can throw you off, but with clown it's just fast enough to guarantee a hit. Fast, but deadly and precise. Like a shark, but with less counterplay. With sharks you can swim away. Or just not go in the sea at all.

You do realize that the speed boost, in order for it to work he has to time it right to get the effect right? Like you can't just throw it at your feet and automatically get a zoomin' like Sonic the Hedgehog. You need to wait 2.5 seconds AFTER the bottle breaks and releases the gas in order to gain the speed effect. So there are very few situations where you'd be able to use them in mid chase where only you can benefit from the boost and accidentally also boost the survivor as well.
Even so being able to charge at survivors like that while sped up is insane. It's basically spirit except he can see you as well.

I'm a killer main who can recognize how absolutely broken he is. He's only ever gotten buffs since his launch & they finally give him a reasonable nerf by removing the slowdown. Now it actually takes skill to win.
He can still use his speed up bottles on himself to cheese free hits on survivors. I agree removing the slowdown on his pink bottles was the right decision but if he's going to keep these ones he should be 110 max.
-
Had this too with dropped pallets, often shack pallet (PC - steam)

lol at everyone saying bait. Youre just delusional. Killers get ran round all game flashlighted everytime they pick someone up, 40 seconds in and 3 gens have popped etc.
this game is extremely survivor biased. Their jobs are simple, they just have to not screw up. Killer actually have to make an effort to get any value.
1 survivor can loop the killer for 2-3 mins around pallets and windows. All while the 3 others get freedom to do gens. Its disgusting and they need to nerf survivors simple as.
You shouldn't be chasing anyone for 2-3 minutes. Find someone else.

Another gift to high mobility killers as if they aren't strong enough. I already predicting that Claudette being snipped by a Blight or Billy within 9 seconds of the match starting so when survivors are the strongest, they'll be no opportunity to get ahead.
It's a big problem.
I'm sure no survivor would be so unaware to have a billy chainsaw them from the other side of the map
-
Typical entitled survivor mains demanding the killer try and kill them. Your obsession with mindless violence is ruining this game.
-
That's actually disgusting. How did you manage to play more than one game like that?
-
I switched back to blight seeing as the RCPD map was disabled but I'll probably go back to nem now and again, he's pretty fun (and not at either trickster or nurse level, there's been some weird comparisons)
I've definitely seen more of him than the previous three chapters, especially twins and blight who I saw one each of in the weeks post-release
-
It still hurts :(
Also Meg he threw you pretty hard into that cat I'm surprised you're even capable of typing at all.
-
Finally, clown counterplay. "Clownterplay" if you prefer

"the tentacle definitely needs to be looked at"
Well I for one am not going to listen to the balance suggestions of a pervert

The only killer that can get to you fairly quickly but without warning (assuming no add-ons) is wraith though. Otherwise lethal pursuer has shown me survivors that spawn practically within my radius but that's more spawns being stupid.

@Sluzzy these zombies are out of control, we require your guidance in these dark times

Do any of yawl actually play the game
Yeah and I've been blast mined and it's annoying but you're not gonna see it again after a week in more than 1/50 games because it doesn't really do anything. Repressed alliance is the stronger but less annoying version of this perk and no one runs it.
Perks that aren't "second-chances" don't stay popular with survivors for long.
Edit: you might see it when there's a stun/blind the killer challenge on if it counts for those
-
@TheStabbiNAngeL said:
Not to mention how much time will be wasted this will generally waste in match, you get blind, stunned and survivor can still complete the gen in your face
Afaik it blinds anyone around it, also how often do you kick a 99% gen when a survivor is there? It could work like that but it'd be extremely situational
-
Some suggestions are valid, i.e. tier 3 doesn't really feel worth going for.
You can cherry-pick the worst ones yeah, there should be 15 zombies minimum and they should be able to hook survivors themselves or something. Both sides come out with dumb ideas that should probably be ignored.
-
I hope they're planning to expand on it, these isn't that much to practice with perkless addonless trapper.
Also if the bot difficulty could be increased. They don't have to program them to be god loopers, just gen obsessed
-
I love it, I'm pounding through bloodwebs to get it on blight.
-
I did it yesterday with trapper + corrupt intervention. I kinda like these mini-adept challenges tbh

Bruh I didn't even think of combining it with red herring, I love that perk.
Okay I've changed my mind, blast mine stays.
