Down unless they're below me or it's a firecracker
-
I think if your level is especially higher or lower than average it'll take longer
Last time my queues for demo were instant, and matched me with decent survivors, my queue for huntress took 10+ minutes and matched me with new players.
-
Have lacerations only go down when in chase meaning you can spread the pain a bit more and doing so actually makes sense. It'd add some strategy to him and some interesting counterplay for survivors (i.e. getting into chase with him on purpose when he's otherwise occupied)
-
"mods aren't vampires"
@MandyTalk literally has a giant set of hungry lips as her pfp, what more proof do you sheep need
-
I don't really see the comparison that much but it's true IW is a perk that would never be released anymore in it's current state.
-
Why even answer it seriously? I get asked if I'm in a 4-man when I'm solo or duo, I answer honestly and get told I'm lying anyway despite having a public friends list. Yes, clearly me and the blendettes who let me get to second stage and almost die are an established tournament team, the coordination and synergy between us all is unparalleled.

Now that is a change I can get behind. Repeated crouching should also award points.
Pointing should also stun the killer for 10 seconds. It could be a perk called "finger guns". No cooldown.
Actually that's a stupid idea. It should be basekit
-
No, I want every killer to be an M1 killer with no power but also with nurse's base speed. I also want hooks removed and flashlight clicking to give points.
-
Standing still and taking a screenshot when the killer is looking at you from 6m away is an interesting strategy.
Also the biggest nerf to you in particular is probably the new struggle on hook mechanic, it can be harder to
ragequit after going down in 2 secondsgracefully exit a completely unwinnable scenario when pesky teammates insist on "rescuing" you. -
Just play stealth killers while the new map has a higher chance to appear, you might start liking it then.
-
This quiz might help (*might*, I wasn't fully on board with the results I got)

I'm EU yeah :)

I don't watch him and even i knew because it was spammed all over this forum and others.
He waited for a game for 2 or 3 hours because his mmr was so high on twins after his 800 win streak. He finally got a tournament squad and lost.
I didn't feel especially sorry for him. Playing twins in the most miserable way against one solo group after another and then streaming sitting in a queue for hours instead of just like...playing a different killer. Or if he's that committed to the twins I'm sure some of his viewers would've agreed to play slug simulator in kyf.

Here's the thing for the most part it's true. I listed examples and I'll even give you more examples.
Remember not so long ago people were crying for freddy nerfs and how he was S Tier...? Do you see any of those posts now..? Why...? Because of the "nerf" ? If anyone plays Freddy. They know the nerf did nothing to him. He plays EXACTLY the same. They took away some snares ? Ok you still have 5 and can still spam them at whatever loop you want. At no point would you need 10 snares to end a loop. The speed reduction when setting them is irrelevant...So what changed to end those posts ? They took away slow down add ons and "forever freddy" ok..The slowdown add ons did not add that much time to gen speeds..So was that enough to take him from perceived S-Tier to mid tier (where he always was) ? Or was it people like tofu and otz making their tier list and saying Freddy is mid tier. For people to go "oh alright ! He's mid tier !'
True played like ######### as nurse and blamed SWF. Next thing you know there's an influx of posts about SWF being a problem.
It's to the point that anytime something happens with a popular streamer. The posts here correlate. It's no coincidence
I know that happens, and some people do parrot streamers but "trickster is bad" and "swf is a problem" aren't brand new opinions or things people would be incapable of concluding themselves, whether they're right or not. There's streamers who say trickster is good, you could be accused of just going along with one of them.
-
I've played with and against a few, my steam name is often different to this one though. If you've seen someone called Erdbeerkäse, Sonig der Mettigel , the urban evader or George W Key Bush it was probably me
-
They might. I like object but you do kind of sign up for being the killer's focus when you bring a perk that shows them were you are every so often.

You can just post a link...
Is there a place for that on profiles? I usually go on here on mobile so some features might be missing.

I can't even bothered to be comment anymore. There's so many threads about this. It's obvious the people who use him and know how to use him. And have good aim.
Compared to people who just parrot what their favorite streamer is saying. No one is saying he's OP. But there's killers in worse spots.
It's a ######### attitude to tell people they only disagree with you because some streamer told them to. And it's becoming an annoying stock response on here.

Adding to what @xenotimebong said another useful thing for when the hag traps one side of a safeish dropped pallet and circles round to you is just vault and don't move otherwise, it won't trigger and she'll have to break the pallet, at which point you can run through it. Also go for a quick jog through any known traps as soon as she picks up a downed survivor.
As for the basement...I'd just stay away from it. Fun and interactive counterplay right there I know.
-
No, but a way to link to our steam/PSN/etc profiles would be nice
-
Blight isn't S-tier. He doesn't straight up ignore survivor defences like pallets and windows, and he gets weakened by a lot of maps - both the indoor ones and the ones with especially weird collision
Also blight has two useless addons and that's about it. There's some memey purple ones but they aren't terrible

Oh great this thread is back. This was back in February and my views for Spirit have changed since then.
Yes mate ☝️ I was also a Rin apologist for a while, now I'm committed to them nerfing her so I can play her without feeling like a dick

They should be deleted from the game and their power should be incorporated into an upcoming Xenomorph killer.
I will miss punting the little turd and hearing his anguished cries.
Rework them so that playing the twins just activates a new co-op mode where the survivors and Charlotte take turns kicking Victor to death. Also automatic 32k bloodpoints for everyone.

Yesterday I got Hawkins twice in a row with Blight as well, one with an offering btw.
I'm at the point of bringing map offerings for Blight. I have no fun with him on half of the maps.
I might do that as well. I have a lot of corn + crotus penn offerings on him and I'm fine with those.
Demo is the other killer I'm playing a lot of rn and he's not that map dependent so I might switch to him when I'm getting battered with these maps

there is 100% a map flavor of the day and BHVR cant tell me otherwise
yesterday i played on temple of purgation 6 times in a row
I mentioned that to a friend earlier who thinks that as well and I was skeptical bc it doesn't make any sense to me. But then BHVR doing something strange for no particular reason isn't out of the question either

Picked up Billy after playing Oni constantly for a while. I'm a Billy main. Oni grew up on me recently due to his power & insane snowball that I could only dream of when playing Billy.
First match -> Haddonfield... And the survivors were decent as well...
I ran:
- BBQ
- Ruin
- Infectious
- Shadowborn.
I got 0 value out of Infectious. You know why? Cause of the stupid RNG with windows, pallets & loops I got.... Every time I downed someone I could not afford to slug... They knew how to abuse the houses as well with the drop-downs... They were spread on gens as well. I had ABSOLUTELY ZERO CHANCE.... It hurts playing a game when u know you're gonna lose horribly...
I had a fantastic time... At least I got to curve 2 times which was nice but the rage stayed for 2-3 matches. Never played Billy for the remainder of the day. If the first match As billy you get sent to Haddonfield, it's a clear sign you shouldn't play Billy anymore for today.
In the next match, I was Huntress on Ormond...
---------------
@Aneurysm wait until the new resident Evil Map drops. Us blight & billy players will have a fantastic time on that map
I am just not gonna play blight for a while after the new chapter to avoid the map as much as possible. I liked it enough playing as nemesis but with pinball the urge to ragequit will be strong 😄
-
I don't think legion is that bad in terms of strength, like they're not amazing but not completely useless. But they're punished ridiculously for using their (mediocre) power, long fatigue, long cooldown, straight into fatigue for missing one hit (mainly to make the lives of last-gen console players even worse ig? It also makes auto-aim about x50 more frustrating on them then any other killer), a basic attack means you can't use your power straight afterwards for reasons that no mere mortal can comprehend, and a vast collection of addons which do nothing. Compare this to the killer who came out just before them who has a completely insane power and is subject to none of these restrictions.

that build basically says "alright which one of you shits wants to be mori-d"
Yeah it's great, and they get both exposed and oblivious a lot when saving.
-
If you have the perks, do rancor roulette - rancor, nemesis, furtive chase and either myc or dead man's grip, it's pretty fun honestly
-
To be fair, you have to be a very skilled killer to play Spirit. The timing on her phase attack is extremely subtle, without a solid grasp on your mouse to use it, which the typical killer simply is unable to do, you're going to 0k. There's also Spirit's mindgames that you have to take into account, do you use your phase at a pallet to hit the person on the other side, or do you simply do nothing and wait for the survivor to do it on their own? The best Spirit mains understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appriciate the precise timing of Spirit's m2, to realise that its not just a "boring power with little to no counterplay", they show SKILL in the GAME.
-
If you must, down the survivors first then let them go by picking up and drooping them so they don't think it's just a trick so you can kill them off easier. The other survivors will probably get the idea soon enough although it's easier with a swf.

Not just me the whole team. I am decent player most of the time but in my opinion I just find it a petty way to play.
How can a killer tunnel the whole team?
-
I haven't watched it yet (I'll try to later) but was there anything you did that you feel another killer couldn't have done? Because strength aside that's my issue with him.
Specifically I mean like every killer especially every ranged killer can do something the others can't, huntress can hit across entire maps, slinger can hit through tiny gaps, plague can have multiple survivors downed in seconds, PH can go through solid objects, nemesis can break pallets. Does he have anything like that without purple add-ons?
-
I got battered by a legacy billy the other day. I was just happy to see him for once.

Puedes pedirlo pero no creo que pase algo así. Ya no uso mi ps4 para dbd pero todavía tengo más de 1000 células allí, es una pena

Imagine some of the people of this forum finding out that they did not in fact lose to a 4man
Some gaming chairs would need a thorough cleaning afterwards I feel
-
I wouldn't be against it, although there might be some outcry when people realise how often they go against some form of swf. (i.e. people usually talk about solo and swf as if every match is either a 4-man or 4 solos when these are probably the rarest combinations)
-
This is the moment their opinion changed (they're the Meg)
Trying another round of stealth billy, using the new trail of torment which gives insane potential for stealth plays, along with apex muffler, leafy mash, an... -
It happens most when I'm plague and I always wonder if they have an actual issue with how her power works or they just don't like her, which would affect my level of sympathy. Also feel bad for their team. And yeah I hook them, they're just gonna chase me everywhere otherwise.
-
If you fast vault 100 times within 8 metres of a hatch you unlock the secret "God Gamer" achievement. Also unlockable via nodding at the person on hook you've chased for the last 5 minutes.
-
You're better off suggesting workable ways that comms swf can be balanced / solo and killers brought to their level rather than demanding things which will never, ever happen.
-
I got hag, twins, plague all tied first. I don't hate survivors that much.

Killshooter just needs tweaks - not a nerf, not a buff, more of a mix. As I main Slinger, here's the changes I would make:
-Majority of his add-ons reworked. Almost all of them are bad, or just reduce his mistakes rather than increasing his strength.
-A lengthy Doctor style period after putting down the Redeemer where he cannot attack or raise it again, ideally for 2.5 seconds to 3 seconds. He would not be slowed during this. This would stop the ADS spamming to passively zone a survivor, which I never do but recognize is genuinely unfair.
-When the Redeemer isn't loaded, Slinger moves at 4.6m/s. This would allow Slinger some limited mobility while introducing some interesting decision-making; do I reload, wasting time and being slower afterwards, but being ready for a chase? Or do I stay unloaded, getting around quicker and easier but not being ready for a chase immediately? It'd be pretty novel and a nice solution to his map pressure issue without including something stupid like a grappling hook.
That's all he needs, honestly. The ADS is what gives him his identity and what makes his power good- the reason everybody thought he was awful back on release was because nobody really quickscoped. If you've ever gone against a Slinger that aims down the sights for any longer than a couple seconds, you know how easy it is to dodge that with the tiny hitbox, slow movement speed and dodgy sensitivity. It's also balanced by the fact that his gun is not a direct source of damage, and that quickscoping doesn't mean jack if he can't reel you around the tile, or if you crouch in the window while being reeled so he can't hit you.
That sounds fair. I despise going against slinger but I'd be happy with those changes.
-
No. Giving hatch or door is something the killer can do if and when they feel like it, but it's her choice.
-
Yeah I do this in real life, I treat people based on how the last completely unrelated person treated me. Together we're healing the community.
-
That would make it better yeah. Alternatively the vaults blocked stay blocked until a different gen is completed, although that could just end up trapping survivors in certain rooms.
-
So I can bring pebble, red herring and any means necessary and still be a useful teammate
My time has come
-
No. I'm glad you like them but a killer that most people don't want to play as or against generally isn't in a good spot imo.
