I escaped with a crown for Jeff and Am sorely disappointed to find he didn't get one 😔

Because things like Trail of Torment exists where you're forced to Tap the generator or take damage. And I'd be damned if I'm taking damage for a counterplay that can come in handy against things like surge. If you ran Pop goes the weasel, or overcharge maybe your tune would change.

Hey man, at least your game will load

Please tell me why each rounds survivors tunnel my gen after I kick it ( just like survivor unhook a survivor), and when I go near my gen, they camp near my gen and after I'm not watching it they go back to the gen immediately ( which is camping)? If killers are not allowed to focus on his one object (tunnel) or wait his object to be done (camp), then by same logic, survivors should not be allowed to repair my gen after I kick it, for like 60s just like how DS work, or camp my gen, u should go to the other end of the map or @ least 40 m away, or else u r camping my gen.
It's called Objectives my dude.
Just like the survivors are the Killer's objectives that Gen? Is Survivor's

not really. what if there is no one near. what if one do the gen while i heal. that's teamwork. why he should waste time healing me when he can done the gen while i heal.
Because there's perks like We'll make it and Desperate measures that can heal you 8 times faster than Self-care and gets you back to Generators that much faster.
Don't get me wrong, if you're in a solo Q and you're not sure your teammates will heal you, that's fine. Self-care.
But I've had far too many games where we've lost because I've had a teammate off in a corner self-Caring instead of just getting someone to heal them and working on a generator. It is absolutely a waste of time. Especially if you have teammates that are hooked and you're just lolligagging.
My point being Self-care is not always the efficient way of healing

I still think the idea of being able to prestige 3 times then on the forth decide whether or not your survivor becomes a killer or vis versa would be cool. Because imagine if they're that bloody on P3 they've seen some ######### (on both sides) so why not make it a playable option.

Someone please come up with an idea to replace the ######### hatch
2 out of the last 3 games today both rank 1 killers, so the scene is pretty much set.
both times slugged for a 4k, first time l bled out because my fellow survivor was a hatch #########.
second picked up at 3:50 ish died on hook because also my fellow survivor was a hatch #########.
l don’t want to crawl around on the ground 4 minutes while some sweat lord killer wants a 4k or some piece of ######### survivor wants the hatch.
We didn’t finish the gens so why does some hiding in a bush survivor get to escape.
take it back to how it was if you want a hatch. where we have to do a certain amount of gens for it to appear or whatever it was
and if the survivor wants to take the game hostage have his aura revealed to the killer every 10 seconds until he does do something.
The killer beat me, l just want out of the game.
Long rant my apologies.
The Magic number for the hatch is 5. Be it any combination of Survivors to Generators ratio. So I guarantee you, if there isn't at least some generators done, that hatch isn't going to spawn until there's only one Survivor left.

Take a step back and watch the video. It's clear they intended to throw the god pallet and stun the killer. Even before the killer entered the shack. No attempt was made to loop or mind game it.
I retract my God pallet statement. My apologies.

As a hybrid player I've been in both sides and noticed that if a killer or their build is unlikeable then survivors will simply not play. Either dc, afking, griefing or killing themselves on hook, it's kinda bizzare. But no one really comments on that because you simply kill them and get easy bloodpoints. If I play Hag, odds are that I'll have a normal game. If I use rusty shackles because I wanna try a funny build like ultimate totem protector hag, then I won't manage to get it to work since most teams will simply give up. If I play pig I'll have a normal gamez but if I switch to spirit or deathslinger for a daily, then I'll get faced with 4 dcs.
But, again, I don't see anyone commenting on it. I can kinda see why someone wouldn't enjoy versing a forever Freddy, but actively giving up results in the other 4 players having a boring game.
But that's simply, my opinion
I don't understand it either. As I have also been on both sides it's obnoxious and as a survivor I like to give the killer a Fair fight even if someone dc's ect. It's only fair, considering it's just a waste of points, time and pips If you don't give it a go.
I think the problem is situational to the killer being used and the generally assumption of said killers play, even if it's a totally different style then any other played game. (If that makes sense). It's bogus but it happens

No, you die on hook and play the next match.
Really though, why didn't you learn after the 1st hit and throw the shack pallet early?
That's kind of a ######### thing to say about a lag. Like "Oh. The lag is making it easier for the killer so just lay down and take it or waste the god pallet on something that may or may not happen depending on timing" Stop being a troll over a legit problem

To be honest - Myers is rarely played today, Scratched Mirror is even more rare. I guess you can have 1000 hours on Survivor without running into a Scratched Mirror Myers once.
This is true (as I play both survivor and killer as a Myers main) I rarely find anyone who plays spooky Myers and in the same breath haven't gone against alot of survivors who have either. It's alot harder to find then something like of like tombstone Myers.

i didnt say ban worthy, but like a game penalty for a few hours same as when a killer disconnects (with progression loss)
Body blocking a killer results in them not being able to hook a survivor they are carrying, which helps the survivor escaping from their grasp.
Well then, camping and tunneled should be penalty worthy as well with a few hour block and progression loss If we go off that logic. Camping and tunneling results in survivors not being able to unhook the survivor that is on hook, which helps the killer win. Doesn't sound very good from the other side does it?
Good thing there's more than one hook on the gamefield. They can't block them all, there's only three if you're carrying one

There is no one hit down for Victor at all - if you are healthy you get latched even if exposed. If anything Charlotte is slow unless she has a haste effect from devour which is pretty brief.
He Was one hiting without latch and she was zooming, it was almost at a ridiculous speed and didn't seem like Devor
-
When playing the Hag, Survivors can flashlight her hexes and null them. Which goes to show may be easier than the sneaking trick
-
I enjoy it more on Xbox, as people really have to go an extra mile to message you, and if they're on a separate counsel type (pc, switch, ect) they can't post-game message you at all.
As far as the automatic ban system, I'm uncertain as I've never ran into it..
Cheers.

Because as I mentioned it was 1 meter away from the escape line. Which means if I hit the healthy survivor the one on the ground will crawl out. There is no point to hit the healthy person in that scenario.
Perhaps in that instant there might not be. But if you hit the healthy survivor who is healing the downed one, not only does it pause their action, but it also gives you an opportunity to not only surprise said survivor doing the healing. But it probably would get you a survivor either which way. Be it the one healing or the healer. In specific instances I've had the Healer be surprised in the hit and get in my face only to be downed.
But again, play tactics you're comfortable with, and have fun doing it.

So your major form of defense playing this game was 360s and your struggling to rank up from 15 (emblem bug or not). I think you probably do belong in the 14-16 range.
Wow that's funny. Are you one of the killers that disconnect from a game after a survivor "loops you too well"??? Lol. Or maybe you slug and tunnel or camp because it's "a liable tactic. " or maybe you're that survivor who follows the killer around with a flashlight, who cares. Stop judging people's game play just because it's not the same way you play. It's pathetic and makes you sound like some sort of elitist, and whether you're ok with it or not, ranking IS broken.
And I'm not just blowing smoke because I'm a "low ranked survivor" I'm a rank 8.
Good day to you

Let's see.
- You teabagged the Killer and I want you to get what you deserve and I am not down with Survivor BM.
- You were a moron that got me hurt at least once.
- You failed a basic skill check on a generator I was working on.
- You wasted half the pallets in the game on one chase.
- You brought a Key.
- You wasted precious game time Self-Caring in the corner while the rest of us were playing the game.
- You did nothing to help me when I was on the hook and another teammate had to come get me.
How many reasons do you need, exactly?
I Also agree.
I put effort into players who put effort in the team and escaping. If you put no effort in, I'm not coming back from you. Period

I have a solution that doesn't require any perks or add-ons or changes to existing ones: Um...if you see a survivor go down and not get picked up, then go over there and pick them up! It's not like the Killer can slug all of you in one shot so there are plenty of opportunities. Get over there and pick them up.
Half the slugs after that first slug happens BECAUSE we go over to pick up the original slugged player. If the player plays dirty then you're screwed anyways. Especually if they slug then hide in wait of the next

@Dubby said:
This sounds like you speak from experience and I'm curious what killers slug like this. I've seen a killer 4k slug survivors that all went down in an area they knew were no hooks.
I see It alot with the Wraith and The Pig. They're really bad at slugging and leaving, or slugging and camping the slugged survivor from a distance so that they can nag that next survivor and so on. I've also gotten slugged by getting window or body blocked into it FROM A DISTANCE away from other slugged survivors. Not all slugs are in the same spot or even away from hooks. I've even had killers carry me away from hooks and just drop me to go after someone else.

I mean...unbreakable exists and it's literally one of the strongest perks in the entire game and can completely reverse entire matches against a slugging killer. Paired with DS it's possibly the strongest 2 perks in the entire game.
Why should there be a counter to a killer just...winning a game?
You're talking like it's a balance problem when you just don't like laying on the ground doing nothing, which is understandable- but if the solution is more counter measures to the killer that is exahasterbating a new problem, not solving yours.
The issue arrises when all 4 players who don't have unbreakable are laying on the ground. Theres nothing wrong with a Killer simply winning. Its when the killer leaves everyone to bleed out

I could see that as being a possibility, though it could be too strong when there are only two survivors left. But getting up and being in Deep Wound status (as mentioned in your original post) would definitely not be a big enough penalty.
It would be if the deep wound status is sped up by 50% or so, so you are FORCED to heal yourself upon stand up otherwise you'd just go back into a dying state
-
@PanicSquid said:
Unbreakable, Soul-Guard and No Mither.
2 out of 3 give infinite recoveries with certain conditions. 2 out of 3 come on default characters (on Steam), one is a licensed DLC.
Plus there are 3 other survivors that can help, and perks to help them do it faster.
Deep wounds is a pretty useless status effect to get in exchange for a free recovery.
Infinite unbreakable is no mither. The infinite recoveries come at a cost of being perma-injured.
What happens when not everyone has the DLC or the Perks or access to the perks.
You've seemed to also over look the fact that its not a problem with slugging. Its a problem with Slugging all and leaving to bleed out. Which in some cases is viable (when you're gen-rushed or gens have been done) but when you're 90 seconds in and you're a being slugged before even a generator is done. That is the problem

@TragicSolitude said:
Welcome to one of the problems with DbD's design.
Slugging is one of the core mechanics for killers. It's not something only some killers are capable, it's something all killers are capable of, which means the game is balanced around killers being able to utilize this mechanic. Survivors being able to pick themselves up off the ground is such a strong mechanic that they either have to use up a perk slot just to do it once, or they have to be in the broken state all game to do it multiple times (not to mention Soul Guard which is dependent on the killer running a hex).
Doing anything to change slugging would require changing a larger part of the game to balance it out.
If you're wondering why I said this is a problem with DbD's design, here it is: a killer winning the match isn't fun for survivors. A killer can slug, which leaves survivors on the ground unable to participate in the match. A killer can hook, which again has the survivor unable to participate in a match (and spamming a button in second state is just absolutely suck). And a killer can kill, which removes the survivor from participating in the match and throws them back into the queue, which for many people is a 10-30 minute wait.
Yeah, being slugged sucks, but it's an important tool for killers to create pressure when gens are popping.
I'm Just saying that if you're slugged and the killer leaves you to bleed out, you should be able to be able to use one of your summoning (hook) phase to get back up.

Well you drive a car by putting the key in and turning it all the way forward for a few seconds, putting it in drive, putting your foot on the gas pedal and turning the steering wheel. If you wanna stop, put your foot on the brake pedal. Use one foot for both. If you wanna stop driving, put the car in park, pull up the e-brake and taking the keys out. Don't forget to lock the car so it doesn't get stolen.

I think it would be fun if each map had some triggers that survivors or killers (or both, depending on the trigger) could choose to activate.
For balance, most triggers should have both good and bad effects, so you have to weigh your options as to whether it’s worth it. Some will be purely beneficial for one side.
I know there are a few environmental, but I’d like to see something more meaningful than a “ding” when you enter the gas station
Ideas off the top of my head:
- a wrecking ball that blasts through the “car wall” at AutoHaven.
- release toxic gas at Hawkins. It rises and “hinders” anybody who goes upstairs or onto catwalks. Causes screams as well.
- detonate wagons of TNT at Dead Dawg to blast extra vaults into building facades.
What would you like to see added to certain maps?
These all sound like pretty solid ideas

he is a child molester and the devs don’t want to be affiliated with that in any way.

Hear me out though, Jeepers Creepers. The survivor could be one of the varsity boys off the bus in the second movie. The map could a H U G E cornfield with the crashed bus, and the mildly broken down barn!
Give my boi a sythe or something and make him floaty like the Nurse. His "by my hand" death could be stealing them Peepers. Or he could have throwbacks. (I.e the black tooth ninja star he shredded the bus wheel with)
The survivor could have perks that promote thinking more on your feet rather than being sneaky
