What about perks exclusive to prestiged players. That way it gives that rewarding feeling and actually gives players the urgency to presige rather than the run around of wondering if they should take the time to? (I myself being a run around)

Players who prestige are ever so slightly cooler than those that don't, that's about it.
It doesn't feel cool to prestige though. I mean, the bloody clothing is cool. But starting a hard worked on character over again for said bloody clothing and nothing else doesn't really feel worth it

You prestige for the cosmetics, no other difference
So besides cosmetics there's no differences. Alright..strange but acceptable

I would respectfully argue that a killer slugging 4 survivors isn't toxic. It's getting outplayed imo. Say GG, and good luck next time. You can't truly expect the killer to go easy on you just because you think slugging is toxic.
I digress. I don't think slugging in and of itself is toxic, I think the ability to slug all four survivors at once with no way for them to be able to pick themselves up is sometimes (stress the sometimes. Because sometimes its unavoidable) garbage. Especially if you're a newer player going against rank red. That being said, you're right slugging doesn't make the game toxic. It sucks, but it's not toxic.
But I have found (and don't take it the wrong way. By all means I don't mean you) that players themselves can be extremely toxic.

David and Dwight.
Something about the dynamics of Dwight being a major Nerd and David being more of a hands on athletic type just works. Plus, they just super cute together.

Ok but,
Killer: 100% Myers. Michael with his awkward, quiet understanding of the world has such potential to become a soft boi. I just want to stroke his hair and call him pretty. Extreme evil or not. He's a babe and I adore him

I myself play both sides an equal amount of time and I find being a killer to be super easy compared to being a survivor. As a killer I pretty much win every game and I don’t even have to try that hard. But as a survivor, even with a decent team, we might win maybe one or two games. Especially against certain killers.
And for the record, I let my kid play this too. It’s nowhere near as violent as other games out there. Plus I’m not one of those idiots that believes violent games make people violent.
THANK YOU.
You're the first person to come at this as a person talking to a person.
And yes, there are way worse games. And yes some killers are just built to dominate (*cough cough* Pyramid head with torment going through walls). And yes both sides have flaws.

First of all, no. Im not a Troll. That's rude. And second I'm not B.A.I.T.I.N.G baiting people to respond. This is MY opinion

A 7 yr old playing DBD? #########, I'm no prude, but isn't DBD a bit violent for someone that age?
Not really? You're going to say this game is violent? But then turn around there's kids her age playing things like COD and fortnite and games of that variety. Its all the same. The only thing different is not being afraid of what goes bump in the night

Zzzzzzzz... Yeah, go play killer in red ranks and then come back
First of all, I do play killer. Alot. And so does my 7 year old. Who, by the way, finds killer WAY easier than survivor.
And if you wanted to be a jerk, maybe that's why you get Survivors that are jerks. Its a give and take. Even if it's just a game. Thanks.

I kind of want to see either Pinhead or Jeepers Creepers

@slinger said:
you see a lot of slugging because it's very effective at forcing survivors off gens. Slugging is more of a necessity than it is a killer trying to be toxic.
There is much toxic behavior, but that's on the players.
I disagree. As a killer you have that choice to not slug all players at once. Slogging ALL players at once or not moving away to give choice to pick people is Indeed Toxic. As a survivor there are TWO perks that are available to be able to pick yourself up both of which are often not teachable. Or are not able to be equipped.
Slugging is not a necessity. It's just sloppy.

I generally agree, but I have to confess that a few days ago I got downed within the first minute or so by a Huntress with an iri hatchet. Usually I’d continue to play but damn it this particular case just pissed me off. Killed myself immediately on the first hook and moved on. Am I proud of myself? No. But these kinds of add ons to me are completely BS, particularly when they are being used by people with the obvious skills to not even need it. You’re are damned rank 1 killer. Why are you using training wheels?
Dying on the hook is different then straight up disconnecting though
-
Disconnecting after ONE hit or ONE down is such garbage, as is disconnection in general.
I was playing a survivor and the other three had Disconnected literally seconds apart from each other leaving me with only 1 generator done and the killer throughly angry.
If you don't want to play the game. Don't play the game

Lol, I vibe with your comment and now I can't un-vibe. Instead of 'just git gud', it feels like, 'just roll a nat 20, bro'.
No no by all means, let's just have sweaty hands

There are so many valid reasons a killer my avoid a survivor A good killer will be wary of specific perks, It may be mid to late game, and the killer simply won't grab that one survivor that has 0 hooks to save them for last and focus on the others.
There are a lot of good reasons to be annoyed at a killer. Sweaty tryhards that think this is an esport will make any game less fun, but basic game knowledge and trying not to trigger specific events is fairly standard.
It Wasn't even mid to late game. It was right out of the gates

IF you pissed me off, I am gonna focus you..I am sorry..I am a killer and If you disrespect me in my house I am gonna get you with the belt.
THAT'S THE THING THOUGH I often play the killer so know the etiquette of what Killer generally enjoy. (No teabags, giving good chases, ect) and I was being very polite if not even just asking to run for bloodpoints

Oh that's kinda pissy ill give you that; like if my plan is to give hatch I'll still hook them twice lol just I'll leave them slugged or not chase them when they're dead on hook. I think that might be working with the opposition but idk need a mod to clarify that one
Exactly. If my plan was to let them go or give them a hatch, they gotta work for that stuff. Im not giving it to them if they're just going to stand on top of me and not work for it
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
Idk if the survivor's been adorable and memey to me or nice to me in a previous match you can bet I'm gonna not kill them off and give them hatch :3
I understand that too, heck as a Killer I've opened the door for my survivors.
But there's something about a Camping Hag ignoring the Claudette standing literally right on top of them that kind of urks me
-
@VikingWilson said:
A killer killing isn't being a killer?
This post is mostly towards a Killer favoring a survivor and choosing to outright ignore said survivor. I have NO problem with getting killed as a Survivor
-
Perk: Stab back
TAG YOU'RE IT
Gives survivor a chance to stun the killer for 2/3/4 seconds when survivor is in an injured state, or just pulled from a hook.
This perk can be paired with sprint burst only when running away from the stunned killer
This being said. I think it should be used for prestiged characters, and it would discourage camping and tunneling
