Lets ignore the very specific scenario which is happening here.

Thats like saying lets ignore blight compleatly because momos almost 2K win because its just one dude in specific scenarion.

  • So just one fix into basekit and another is just addon bandaid as usualy, dam this is what i dont like addons arent something that killer should need to be useable they buffed laceration which is good for how slown snail he is but than buff to some lower addons and nerf to his best ones classic.

ghoul is more balanced than this joke of a character. I don't care how much skill goes into blight.

Tbh he is especialy now like ghoul injures you faster compare to blight but he cant down you directly with his power and he lost his hit when vaulting with leap and survivors can vault into him so there is totaly clear counterplay that people can use so no more siruations where you camp pallet and you drop it and he vaulted and get you now you can just vault through him if you have some decent skill against him on timing (its deffinitely esier than know timing about bubbas tantrum end when you are in locker).

Blight can use his power to outplay loops way more than ghoul and mostly ghoul can cut you off or get close but he has time window where he cant down you so you can like make it back to pallet/window but blight if he doesnt miss his dash you are dead and his speed is superior.

Ghoul cant break palletr and instatly down you with his leaps or catch up there is some time because he looses part of his tokens but blight can absolutely do it and is probably best in it due to number of his dashes.

Ghoul is still strong but he is actualy weaker and has counterplay in revaulting into him where killer cant do nothing about it plus his hitbox on enviroment is now smaller so he can miss survivors more because he can aim more close to them and not triger their hitbox which is good thing for better ghoul players and worse for average ones that have worse time getting hits.

Blightis harder than ghoul but once you match him he in super strong, I know many will hate me for writing this and downvote it but its truth.

Blight has been S-tier for like 6 years it would not ruin him if he was nerfed down to low A to B Tier

Blight wont be nerfed down as you think because he has huge support compare to many other killers, look at wesker he got trashed into pile of duck waste and there sint that huge support, just imagine blight if he would get some nerfs people would go mad.

Personaly I dont think blight needs massive nerfs just decreased his base speed to 110% and loose 2 tokes of his rush power when he breaks pallet with breaking animation (he loosees them when he breaks them with his m2 so no need to nerf his m2 more and 110% killers need strong powers), with these changes he would be still solid strong killer and more balanced so that person that plays him needs to know his power and cant just be very opressive with walking someone down with 115% speed.

  • @PetTheDoggo said:

Thing is it's possible even for Blight to do it in pubs, where he is basically stomping noobs most of the time.
When you put Blight in balanced settings (comp), it's normal to see escapes.

Should Blight and Nurse be nerfed? Yeah
But I don't think they need to be nuked into C tier…

For Blight I would basically want only for him to lose 2 tokens on manual pallet break and rework 1 speed addon.

Otherwise you can get high win streak with ANY killer, or survivors. Simply because match making allows it.
We had SWF escape streaks over 500, soloQ was around 30-40.

Blight should be 4,4 m/s speed base you wanna know why?

Best mobility on command but unlike ghoul he can injure you from it and down you plus he can play and outplay loops with it way more than kaneki, his power is stronger than spirits and has shorter cooldown by 5 seconds comparing 10 seconds power cooldown to 15 seonds cooldown power when the shorter one is stronger and faster so thats to his speed change with so good power still vast majority from his injures and downs come from use of his power than m1 so this wont hurt people playing him that much in skill and effort they had to put in him.

Second change I would make to blight is for him to loose 2 tokens after breaking pallet again why? Breaking pallet with rushes takes two one for unlocking ability to cause damage or break on second so now it will be even and I dont think it should be more charges/tokens because if you have 4,4 speed killer than you cant take away his power when survivor will just predrop and he will break and will be slower speed than regular m1 killer so 2 tokens is good number 4 seconds of recharge time + time (few seconds) of breaking action or power animation end after doing it with power.

Ofcourse I think it should be test first than applying good old devs Nerfhammer tactic here where they smash something (mostly killer) with so hard nerf that he becomes total mess to paly as like they did with skullmerchant, pig in the poast and many other characters or some perks, addons Im more for proper testing and I believe this will be achieved on blight who is by far the most Golden child in this game and devs were always super easy with his changes (nerfs we speak here).

For people thinking his power will be strong than yeah thats the point of the killer being 4,4 m/s or even slower than survivor speed aka the nurse like if you take killers ability (movement speed) that helps him in chase and map mobility than you must give him a good power to secure his chase potencial, good exsample is like spirit and henry (vecna for younger generations but for D&D fans just a imitation).

Addons are thing too but if you touh fim in this way like this than its better to wait if it will work and than adjust addons than spam good old bhvr Nerfhammer and cause "nerf pig" moment again, isnt it?

trickster 2.0 was better in every way. More fun to face and to play.

He was more all rounded compare to this one he had to hit 2 more knifes to get injure but he could play and chase without knifes, he could use main event very often and near hooked people, he was faster when throwing knifes in movement speed and his laceration decay was slower.

Only thing new trickster is better is faster pulling knifes, faster throwing speed and s-rank rewards in throw speed and reload speed plus no laceration decay but he has more drawbacks and his weakneses are more easy to see on him.

The new trickster has many bugs and for some reason knifes are coliding with objects even when there is nothing and in previous patch before his rework they flew around them or through some holes which on slower version that has less time to injure due to shorter laceration meter plus less ammo is very unplesant and bad.

All of this is cowered in video I think Zozo was the guys name, dedicated trickster main that knows more than casual players and remembers his stats so its more easier to compare for him.

  • Best are megheads or sables that solo killer only sandbaging you in most cases or wahing teams resources, I claim biggest killers that are silent are your teammates people hate it but its truth.

Its like getting betrayed by friend you dont expect it as from someone who is your enemy/oponent.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

Also have to say, I did not notice any difference. Pallet Saves are rare, but they still exist and still work as before, from what I have seen. The Killer was always able to block the prompt of dropping a Pallet, if they were too close to the side you wanted to drop it from.

Pretty much killer can bodyblock prompt to actions such as droping pallet or vaulting or jumping into hatch since the games release.

Edit: or unhook prompt etc. its been in the game since the start and it only isnt a case when survivor looses colision with killer like with taking damage or some killers using powers like sadako or being chased by knights guard etc.

I'm currently World Ranking 35 Henry, and I'd say... Probably, but ultimately it really depends on survivors skill.

Against low/mid survivors he's pretty broken, because you won't miss most of the time. And we all know how strong he is if he doesn't miss.

But against high end survivors who knows how to dodge/losing LOS, he's pretty average TBH. His power to injure has time-limit, and it's pretty short after the nerf. And if each activation can only get you one down, he's going to lose hard.

I'm playing at Hong Kong server where majority of survivors are SWF, and some of them are extremely good in dodging attacks. So I only got 62%KR even though I'm World 35 LOL.

PS: Another reason is I don't really camp/tunnel, so I lose a lot of games that I could've won.

Tbh I dont think he is that great camper like his power has almost none gain when used close to hooked survivor and tunneling with him isnt something that great either he is for 15 seconds same speed as that unhooked survivor plus he slows a lot after each use of his m2 so that unhooked survivor has lot of safety for like 20+ seconds compare to other killers not to mention he needs to activate clocks to do something and there are perks that create another safety like elusive effect or longer bt time or speed so he isnt shining here good killers for tunneling require catch up power and good antiloop like clowns that get them hits faster or close distance lot faster which henry has no real catch up with his mobility he looses more distance than holding W and with using his power he looses distance plus he requires most of time to get multiple hits to get into power so I dont think he is good tunneler.

His only chance is to hit your m2 attacks and like you said if obe clock time does give you just one down than you will most likely loose its lot of time waste and compare to killer like oni whi has limited power too the downing potencial isnt that grear in reliability against people that can doge and even when you get many hits still he has troble in keeping distance compare to nurse or oni in blood furry.

You definitely can insta from my experience but I was absolutely hitting some sick hug techs yesterday.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/465762/revert-wesker-change-s-patch-9-5-0

It really doesn't help that this rehaul to his engine has also fixed none of the problems that we had issues with before, I've had several survivors in my last few matches just bounce off several objects when thrown and just continue the chase.

Yeah seeing someone being thrown into solid object to just let then skinibert and slip from it is great thing, wesker has been buged a lot before but now with devs screwing up his techs that made him viable like urobending I would say he is low b-tier at best just two dash demo.

  • @CrypticGirl said:

Yeah, teammates are something else, aren't they? Like for this screenshot, we had one teammate who just stood and let the Killer down and kill her, and yet I'm the one getting bitched at. Explain this logic to me…

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/GCTVZ7818ZCG/neachat03-2.png

Entitled inviduals on survivor side something every killer has to deal with every time he slugs or hooks them two times in a row for varius reasons even chasing them more than someone else is cosidered toxic.

Funniest thing is survivors arguing between each other because of compleate nonsence but its rare mostly killer is called bad and thats it because there is 1v4 so chances are higher for it.

You guys blow going against cheaters out of proportion I hadn’t played a cheater in months

You could play against dozens but if you dont see them do something that isnt possible or they dont have perks for than its clear that they own eight wheel gamer chair.

For me I dont need to face some weeks or month too but week before or two I encoutered 5 of them in two days, 3 in one evening things like speeding or picking survivors from ground instantly to full health or going for hatch whan having no addons or perks for its location just directly running into corner in place where it spawned but nothing surprising from guy I expected he had walls and this only proved my suspicion not to mention all had mark for playing on epic or console but I think it was clear epic.

The number of cheaters you dont spot or other survivors and tell you this is very high I believe but now with buged screen there isnt much you can do agsinst them.

  • From what I know his instaflicks are gone but it seems urobends are nerfed super hard I saw multiple clips where weskers dash only interacts with survivors only when his camera is dashinv into them not as before where you could dash and turn you camera to get that hit because if you didnt that survivor cant be injured if there isnt anything to slam him or throw him into like on coldwind maps.

Sl its hige nerf to wesker he is just demogorgan now only with two dashes that apply infection and instead breakinv psllets he vaults them but thats it even draculas wolf form alone is better and way more usefull as killer than wesker, I havent watched the most latest changes but I believe there is lot more things that dont work so yeah wesker is now temu wesker shame.

The mechanic is long enough in the game now, it doesn't mean much anymore. Most people who focus on a few characters/ ignore leveling others for perks and who have played the game without bigger breakes have a P100 character by now. You don't need to be a hardcore "i only play DBD every day"-gamer for that. I've seen P100's doing the most abstruse things lately. On the other hand, a P100 is definitely less likely to be a super scared 50 hour survivor who have absolutely no clue what they're doing.

From my experience unless its p100 killer and that guy mains him only and has some hundreds of hours (meaning he is very good with that killer) than rest of p100 in my lobby arent that best players they udualy tend to be the salty ones which complain mostly. But thats my experience I believe others have it different compare to me, anyone with few tens of hours in DBD and some fraction of will power knows p100 doesnt mean anything like if you see p100 all that means that person mostly plays that character (probably) and second he spend his points there for some reason so he isnt new.

Like if you see legacy skin thats something different than p100 because that only means two things either its cheater that wants to look good the oposite of his inner self or its someone who plays from 2016 and wont be bad (the chances fot thid that he will be good are way higher than p100 not to mention p100 can be seen only in endgame sreen only cheaters can see it before game in lobby).

I kinda rate killers a bit different. Saying High MMR means nothing as if you just play the game you will reach the soft cap of MMR regardless of skill level.

Take blight for example. You watch someone like Lilithomen play him and my god he is just 4k after 4k because he is VERY good with him. For that yeah S teir killer but only because of all the time learning him.
If you watch gameplay of my game as blight you would think that he is D teir because it looks like he sucks.

I feel that teiring killers needs to be done 3 times. One teir list for new players trying killer, one teir list for casual gamers who play every so often (which i fall into) and one teir list for top MMR big players who put a lot of hours into it.

Because of that this is why i put The First as mid/late tier so about B teir because he does take skill and game knowledge to play especially due to how slow he is and the fact W key outplays him.

Also Killrate doesnt mean the killer is strong. Purely means survivors havn't figured out the counter yet. He is still new and from my understanding based on friends who play survivor they don't see many of them. This means kill rates are kinda inflated as you get survivors who don't know what they are doing against him. Don't get me wrong over the last couple of days my average kill rate is high but only beacuse ive been getting groups that just don't know what they are doing (not looking behind and never dodging attacks)

Kill rates mean almost nothing, look at the ones that have high rating like most of them are weaker killers and even before his rework freddy was very high I believe even in high mmr kill rates and he was just super weak temu clown with good teleport back than. Look at skullmerchant that had above 70% kill rate because people gave up to dont get penalty for dcing.

In tier listing it matters by what things you create he tier list like I like Otz ones because he puts there lot of things like killers best potencial (like using best perks and addons), map dependency and skill requirent, some may be for someone lower but he says often that he doesnt plays that that much and always says why they are where he put them, their strenght and weaknesses like for exsample some will say nemi is a-tier above wesker due to his antiloop (this maybe truth because now in live version of game wesker got huge nerfs to his power through bugfixes like urobending isnt working as before or instaflicks arent working etc. and wesker without these techs isnt just that good he is worse than draculas wolf form alone without techs) but many miss that nemi is slow and needs build up his power and his power isnt hard to counter or doge plus his addons arent that good there are only two which work with his main power and do something that he needs anc zombies are just side power which reliability is simular as trapper putting random trap in corner of the map.

No the orange arrow down means they have something that does not effect bloodgens. All perks that are without the mark means they work normally and if they are gen perk they work on all gens. Its mainly there to mark the part of the perk that happens when survivor is fixing the gen itself. So for example their aura showing or getting skill checks as blood gens don't have skill checks.

So I missread it, well the explaining is kinda poor Im shocked they dont show it in some picture like they had for chaos shuffle where was which addons will be aviliable for killers.

I didnt even found the explenation in event info, so thanks for info

  • @azaxydbd said:

as a former blight main i rather see blight getting nerfed to 4.4 and he should lose all his tokens when he break pallets, thats the bare minimum. also some speed builds are really op on him and should be on the watch list. like furtive chase with friends till the end.

All tokes are bs you know why? Making killer 110 means he needs better power ( good exsample is spirit or henry) so if he would loose all thats too hard nerf just make him 4,4 because his power is realy strong and make him loose like 2 tokes thats same as breaking pallet with just dashes and he would be perfect high tier killer just like billy.

The problem people have with Ghoul has always been a core design issue we can tweak the numbers all we want but it's not gonna stop why people hate him he needs a full power rework.

You have point here, many just ask for devs to merchant him but that isnt good way to fix something.

Thing is these power reworks take very long time especialy when the killer is newer and isnt crazy in stats which ghoul isnt pick rate isnt something that causes nerfs especialy on characters, perks and addons are different case. Reworking power is like 1/3 of new chapter for them I would say especialy if they have to add more things to that power like small rework had bubba where his charge was same only he got 3 of them instead of one and numbers were changed. Ghoul doesnt have super high kill rate because if I remember from stats before blight had even higher kill rate and he is more problematic in power than ghoul (should be 110 speed the fact that spirit has weaker power or first and are 110 speed or killer like hag isnt 115 speed or atleast have map wide teleport and only 40 meters range to get tp is balance crime and total mess from devs balance team sleeping in corner).

You can walk through the killer when you get the first afk crow so he should not be able to block you permanently.

Still cheaters last one I saw was in last 2v8.

I saw last week 5 of them things like speeding or running to corner of map where hatch spawned in few seconds without hatch offering and he had gates opened and teamates for bodyblock that guy even in chase was sus so valid wall hacks but prove it right, or things like guy having every 20 seconds sprintburst while running whole match and than picking nea instantly on endgame to full health which isnt possible crap like this I faced 5 of then in 3 days.

Its actualy crazy how many of balant cheaters go unnoticed, I bet there is way more cheaters than people think.

  • @azaxydbd said:

ive reported those terminator bots ai cheaters and a lot of cheaters that were blatant and nobody got banned yet lol

And they wont unless many people report them with in game report or someone will sacrifice 20+ minutes and fills that report file than even if one of these things happens it will take days or week or few weeks and that cheater will than buy another account on epic with few bucks.

The sad reality we fight something we cant beat and even if we could it would take xxx years to do so only same is there isnt any news fir better anticheat.

If you time Undergate right or place yourself in just the right spot, you can get it to work near a hook as normal. He shouldn't be able to spam instant vines under someone's feet though so the anti-power near hooks is fine. The hold W is unfortunate, and decent players will drag you to the other end of the map while gens get done, but he still manages to be very strong, and World Breaker is crazy powerful. He could never be 115%. He'd be as hated as Ghoul.

Pyramidhead seems drastically harder to me. I tried him during the 2v8 trial and couldn't hit a single thing. With Henry, I've got a 75% KR for the past 30 days and that's playing him on console as an average player. So hard-ish, yeah, but very doable with practice.

He wouldnt be hated as ghoulyou kinda get yourself into paradox nurse, blight are more powerfull than ghoul and still they have more funclubs than him so this kinda goes against itself.

Worldbreaker (the clocks) are only thing that makes his power work and do something without it he cant injure you so just better executed uknown here.

Pyramidhead and henry work on same idea their powers cant be played like others range (well in DBD it isnt realy point and click like in csgo but these two have it even more in depth) characters with them (phead and henry) you must predict where will survivor be (his hitbox more specificaly than character model something people still miss in 2026) and shoot there, henry is bit easier in this due to having bigger hitbox and player having more range and options with his m2 than pyramidhead who has slow traveling 0,5 meters wide attach (henry is 1,84 meters wide circle that has 0,6 seconds delay), the idea with them is same just predict and shoot, the pyramidhead has one thing better and thats that he can use more his power to zone people to bad or risky spot and punish them there if they dont play it right but henry still cant be used without m2 his speed is just too slow but both are a-tier I would say very close to each other (henry being higher do to his potencial but as we all grow ups know potencial is something is up in stars and nothing you have as guarantee plus henry has mobility not best in catching up but can help and is better that nothing).

Pyramidhead in 2v8 was way more weaker than in 1v4 you know why? because they didnt buff him that much he suffers to prerunning to do to lack of mobility and who is very played in 2v8 no one other than escapist class that can have sprint burts in few tens of seconds and give it to other survivors around that arent exhausted and that sprintburst is on command which makes it s-tier so no wonder you had hard time all characters without mobility with catching up potencial are bad in 2v8 especialy when their power is hard to use.

Henry is hard but you must hit if you dont that survivor will drag you around map when gens pop and than in getting last kill you are done becuase his power doesnt work near hooks and unhooked person is same speed as henry for 15 seconds (if borrowed time or other perks arent there used) and henry gets slowed whe he uses power so unless you have very high accuracy you wont get last kill and attaempts to get them near hook are terribly bad with him thats something pyramidhead can do compare to hanry. Good killer just like uknown but compare to him he isnt harmless even when you hit your shots.

  • @cogsturning said:

I'm also maining him, p56 currently, and I'd say he's at least top 10. He's just not easy, like Ghoul, and is very jukeable by good players. Most people considerr him A tier. KR-wise, he's doing about the same as all my other killers though. And yeah, inconsistent elevation is truly terrible with him and is my biggest source of embarrassing missed shots.

But let's be fr. He's not the real Vecna; he's named after the real Vecna.

He is good if you can predict and hit your shots which logicaly happens more in high mmr than in broad mmr where people are more skilled and played more characters and have better game sence.

He is good if you hit your shots he is like uknown but better because unlike harmless if you hit your shots you get rewarded more, on paper he sounds nurse like but I dont think theres anyone who can hit almost every hit with him and as you say he is hard in my opinion one of hardest killers in the entire game because if you dont get hits with his power you are just 110% speed killer which is even way worse than 115% killer not to mention his power needs multiple hits to get you clocks so your power can do actualy something and spaming his power midlesly isnt that great too because you get slowe a lot and survivor holding W can be easily from your range and he isnt good for catching up, his mobility compare to other vecna is terrible at catching up and he has no power (almost) near hooked survivors where it takes ages before his attacks will hit from his power.

Just like pyramidhead where he is on paper sss-tier who can hit you through walls but in reality its not that easy, henry is bit easier I would say but than you depend on your power more and its still not that easy thing to do.

With that vecna part Im kinda confused here too like people kinda miss there is The Vecna form D&D and than its The "vecna" from netflix so I firstly though that post was about the Vecna who I would say isnt bad on swamp due to his skeletons working better on elevation than on straight surface.

  • @ChaosWam said:

I'm honestly surprised to see Krasue there in the high MMR, I kinda wanna see how top players play her. She's always far too clunky for me.

Not too surprised to see Kaneki up there, but honestly Lich is a welcome surprise. I enjoy the mindgames with him.

Also, Sadako still being on the top 5 in broad hurts.

Stats are from some date to some x date (till this years february) so people should pay attention to this because is this time window krasue was released in super broken state and mayers got in same patch his rewok and his pick rate was way higher than new killer krasue.

These stats are from last half of the year just like previous where hardly dominated freddy and some smartheads were here going crazy that freddy is op but it was mainly because his long time awaited rework happened and people picked him a lot and devs took stats from that time.

Personaly Im more surprised where is blight like kaneki got now kinda nerfed plus fixed at the same time and blight got buff with his dash hitbox being bigger as it should be (by devs) so its kinda interesting why he isnt there when in last stats he was dominating even nurse was there in high mmr stats.

I'm not sure how Lich is surprising when they're 115%, four different powers with individual cooldowns, a bug that makes his ghosts spawn within his ankles instead of the correct height that's never been resolved, and chests acting as a mini side objective.

If people paid attection they would easily find out that every stat release the killers that are on broad mmr kill rates top are lich, freddy, sadako, pinhead and it has been like this for few years some killers even longer like freddy.

  • @cammoking123 said:

The devs have been waging war on blood points for the longest. They think everyone is gonna put 8 hours a day into this game.

Yeah I remember good old times (for bonus bp) where streamers offering was brown quality the lowest and event gave you more or rewards like for christmast when you log in were bigger, fact is now in bloodweb things are cheaper more but still I kinda see that each year rewards in multiple way meaning offerings or the ones for logging in are getting smaller and smaller.

  • He is pure dedication first he suffers from holding W, he needs two hits to get clocks activated (they activate when you hit single survivor two times with vines attack or when you use your mobility and use that undergroud attack that activates it instantly) to do any damage and has no power near hooked survivors. He is more like pyramidhead in use of his power where you predict where survivor will be and shoot it there so you hit him, if you enjoy this playstyle he is 110% speed killer with quite good power but hard to use because doging him isnt hard unless survivor runs straigt and is very predictiable.

He suffers from something simular as uknow (or pyramidhead becuase he can damage through walls) but on him its more, he sounds godly on paper killer that can hit survivors across walls something nurse like but in reality its not that easy and simple and needs lot of work and dedication because if you dont hit you are useless 110% killer.

From start unless you face potatoes you will get steamrolled probably because he isnt easy he is like pyramidhead with pinhead his power placement is simular to pinheads chain but it has power can damage when clocks are activated.

His perks are solid/good one of better ones, he is unique kinda in what he does (just more balanced version o nurse). If you will be good at predicting how will survivors react and doge your power and hit more than miss than he is huge monster but from my experience more you will miss and loose distance and go to catch up and try again. Good killer but requires hard dedication something like uknown (well in dedication not being strong ofcourse) but more powerfull and rewarding if you hit your shots because firts you need to activate your power and than you can damage them and cause havoc but its time limited, I would say if you have experience with pyramidhead and pinhead than he might suit you but hard to tell as I said good killer but requires lot of work but more better done than uknown (harmless).

Ghoul is boring to play and horrible to go against. I really dislike this killer. Unknown was perfect but this is just not fun guys.

Uknown was nerfed or his addons were and now is nearly in harmless state.

Wesker got gutted now with bugfixes (his power doesn tfuction how it should and its worse than before).

Ghoul got nerfed by having his hit after vault with leap (same as wesker has) removed so you can vault throught him if you time it right and his hitbox got smaller I believe.

  • I dont understand why they slowed him in movement speed when he holds knifes when his base speed got nerfed to 4,4 m/s like he inujures by 6 knifes but he is snail and on maps like tricksters delusion you dont stand a chance if survivor runs those indoor parts with windows before you can have los on that survivor and pull knife he is behind corner which is very bad.

Main event cant be used near hooks like I would get it if that distance wouldnt be that big like 6-10 meters but 20 someone took good stuf when he was making this change that almost his whole terror radius after changes thats a lot of distance not to mention it works in endgame where killer shouldnt be punished by using his power near hooks thats why anticamp meter turns off, what a mess from balance team.

Last thing thats second most irritating after his snail like speed are knifes/ammo like whys the hell when you slow him down a lot than decrease his ammo, I get he injures faster but he is slower which is more impactfull and has less shots?

Either make him faster when holding and throwing knifes and increase ammo or make him 115 speed, not mentioningmain event that thing is less used on him than his basekit mori.

But the biggest crime in this patch isnt trickster but wesker who got butchered again by some changes and urobending doesnt work so yeah "I think we did pretty good job" this line saddly fits here which is shame.

Edit: forget laceration dissapears faster too which on snail like character makes sence I guess.

Interesting. I think I regard Wraith similarly. Addon-less, he can feel quite sluggish and weak. I tend to like the vault/break speed addon and the other is a free spot that I adjust depending on what I'm feeling. Uncloak speed is the usual, but I switch it up.

What's interesting is I actually played a loooot of Springtrap early on and picked up his power exceedingly quickly. I discovered the holy truth of Guitar Strings, which allowed me to keep pressure on consistently. His traversal mechanics actually taught me a fair bit about gen spawns to boot. I'm a former FPS player, predominantly projectile FPS games including TF2 and Overwatch, the latter of which I peaked GM until I gave up on comp, so projectile killers click well for me in terms of aim. Yet, I just do better with Wraith. It's baffling.

Out of curiosity, is there anything outside of basic M1 chase that you'd consider a transferrable skill from Wraith?

Transferrable skill, hard to tell his cloak is quite unique in its effect that other killers dont have very simular power to it.

I would say bodyblocking can be used on others like on ghoul when you leal to some pallet window to block it for survivor but this is mostly wraiths main thing other killers dont use that often. I find his main skill in knowing hos power like from which direction to aproach so you block the way to pallet or window and push them to unsafe position, than his mind games with 99 uncloak shen survivor os camping pallet.

Only simular thing is like when he has speed from uncloak which is like 6,6 m/speed and 6,9 when you attack and this can be kinda used to learn mind game weaker loops and bait with it to get hits which can be simular to other killers with dash power like mayers or pig or chucky but wraiths uncloak speed buff is just haste not fash compare to killers I mentioned and is shorter in time but this is like only thing that comes to my mind, he is more about teaching you how to play m1 and mind game plus his power is specific like survivors can vault over and over some window/pallet and you as wraith must consider if that location can be bodyblocked or you must uncloak and break or push them or if its unsafe loop where you can position yourself so you can bait them there and get hit with uncloak speed.

I dont think there is simular power to wraiths cloak like other killers have powers or forms in which they cant hurt survivor but they arent simular to wraiths like sadako before manifesting pr draculas bat form thats more close to spirit in gameplay or vecnas underground form but that has its own hitbox so on this I think wraiths power is unique and its main skills are around mind gaming and 50/50 situations ( like when 99 uncloak against survivor camping pallet either hd greeds or drops and theres on you to guess it right and get something at best hit and pallet in one move) and positioning so I dont think theres killer whose power is very simular to wraiths. Still he is good pick because many killers play as m1 or they can even the best ones and getting better in understanding survivors in chase and pulling mind games is very good on other killers too.

  • Tbh I hoped for that more bloody mori but can work with that.

We've wasted around 30 seconds to complete gen to 80% in duo, are you sure we're playing the same game?

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/CAZ4W11U23DD/image.png

I dobt know how much of speed increase is in doing blood gen in duo but I think last bloodmoon it took 3 full cans to do one blood gen so two people can do it fast especialy when blood pump is close.

  • They are on top the game is build around gen deffence since hag chapter where ruin came to fog same as survivors running exhastion perks to stay longer alive plus some antitunnel killers run gen deffence to have more time to get hooks and kills.

Im just surprised some people still dont get it.

  • Wraith is overated in my opinion, he is good but with good addons without them only thing that keeps him above water is high speed mobility that player can frealy control and some stealth that can give him hit if survivors dont see him coming because of objects bloking their los.

Wraith is pretty m1 killer for me only thing that keeps his ability good are faster breaking and vaulting addons, faster uncloak addons and faster speed addons they make his ability more versitile and actual threat especialy in chase where without them he is forced to be m1 killer.

He is simple but not easy against people that know how to loop him and he is lot about mindgames so at best like mid b-tier killer maybe high b-tier if that player that plays him is good at mind games and reading survivors moves (this is about wraith running good addons and perks without them he is c-tier that needs perfect execution to get value). Wraith is good pick and great to learn m1 chase personaly I dont play him that much because I dislike killers that need good addons to be mediocre or even viable which wraith to me is so I rather stick to killer like billy, springtrap that have more skilled power harder to use but more rewarding in terms of good use.

Key thing is to play what you like.

  • Gen in 10 secods pure skoll issue from killer clearly ……… (for people who dont get read this* this is joke/irony, thank you for getting it)

Just remembered there was that bug how it was like that when one gen poped there was chance others will to so survivors could get gates by doing one gen and 2-3 gens in total poped so this is another pinicle od Dead by Buglight.

  • Objective for killer is to kill survivors so tunneling (even when its not fun especialy for person being tunneled but some dont want do do it but game rewards kills not hooks) is killer doing his objective like it or not its like me saying but survivors stacking on one progressed gen even when Im around shouldnt happen but its their objective so they can.

If tunneling was seen unwanted as facecamping than it would be possible.

Another thing that makes tunneling happen is that it has no equal in its effectiveness thats why i happens other thing is sometimes there is just situation like take loss or tryto get kill with tunnel to have chance to get another kill so ots just strategy that is overused because of its effectivenes and simplicity.

Another thing is there are hundreads of people screeming to nerf it but in order to change something repressing it isnt only thing you can do like there is no benefit for killer to go for other people and spread hooks only things that make killers to spread are their dislike to tunneling with their morality or perks that get value from fresh hooks like pain res, grim or the lack of choices or info on survivors.

In order to change something repressing something you must to benefit people for not doing it so you motivate them because even as we saw in ptb with untitunnel changes the debuffs still hurt the ones that didnt tunneled directly but hardcore tunnelers (the ones that play like it was comp match) werent that punished and first antitunnel patch had solid reward for not tunneling but second didnt.

People will tunnel because it has no equal in gameplay effectivness thats why you see it that often but people like truetalent spoke about it in 2020-22 and still get smoked because few years after that devs foundout they must do something about it but werent even in picture what they want to change like in camping they take it as strategy but they diddnt liked the facecamping and staying near hook for to long so thats why there are features for that but they even couldnt clearly say what in tunneling or what type they want to change like do they want to punish hardcore tunneling from the start or endgame tunneling or all they couldnt clearly answer this.

If you want to something change you must know what and have some plan not just go back and fort and have no clue what you want to change.

The clear thing is kills are the main thing killer is rewarded in and tunneling is simple and effective so it will happen.

  • @OnryosTapeRentals said:

Tunneling is a logibal and reliable strategy in the base game, so naturally it carries over to events.

That, and events bring less experienecd players, or players who don't enjoy Killer, to the Killer role to get challenges done. A lot of these people would rather opt for quicker and easier matches, ergo they default to tunneling.

Thing is blood gens are bit faster than normal gens like 20-25% and killers power to stop them is very small compare to regular gens like you have few perks that effect them and they arent very reliable as regression plus lot of gen blocking perks dont fuction on blood gens only merciless storm and that perk is weak against survivors that can hit skillchecks thats why no one runs it in live only few people and most of them are playing doctor so thats for gen deffence.

I have to say blood pumps can spawn quite close to blood gens which only makes them faster and killer doesnt have many perk options here only endgame perks plus chase and info perks that arent working with normal gens like nowhere to hide. Again best strategy is to get kill fast here and it works even better with endgame builds so no wonder why many tunnel or slug when they can this mode isnt friendly to weaker killers tbh only difference between this year and the year ago (for bloodmoon) is that few oerks that effect bloodgens are added and killer powers finally work so freddy and pig can be played, sadakos tapes dont dissable ability to hold canisters with blood so yeah thats it.

I try to play Ghoul. Some weird ######### happens to my camera during a leap 20% of the time.

I try to play Legion. The first person rigging is FUBAR.

I try to play Houndmaster. My dog gets stuck in a tree for half the match.

I play Blight. For some reason even better than ever before after the hitbox changes and isn't a buggy mess.

    "Why are people playing Blight?"

Blight got buffed and his hitbox got fixed and is now bigger (as it should by devs statement I guess) so yeah pretty clear answer just play blight because the number of unhealty bugs and nerfs is ridicilous in this trickster patch.

Lilith made a vifeo about that I think.

Ah, I see you preferred only going against Sadako last year because no other killer could apply ample pressure given, yknow, ZERO gen perks on the Killer side worked. The event has been out for 5 hours, my boy.

Nice part of history you mentioned here I almost forget, yeah sadako was good in that event year ago but even other killers were only those strong ones and tunneling one guy out with full or mostly endgame build stacked was only viable strategy there if Iremember correctly so yeah very survivor friendly event and again someone makes post because few gen regression or gen blocking perks work on blood gens like bird up, oppresion or merciless strom all they had to do is hit skillckects or overcharge not to mention many of these perks arent even good they are long time dead since skullmerchant nerf where genkick era ended and someone still fears some perks will destroy blood gens that take 20-25% less time than normal gens and all they had to do is just 1 normal gen and 4 blood gens that are hard for killer to stop, funny.

  • Blood gens are fast, faster than normal ones and regression of them? Only few perks work and not the best ones in numbers when it comes to regression like CoB, overcharge, oppression or blocking perk is from sadako merciless storm basicaly perks that arent that strong or have easy counter like just hit skillcheck or few like oppression or merciless storm.

Blood pumps can be realy close to blood gens and blood gens are easy to do not to mention many of strongest killer perks dont function and you cry here that you cant use stake out or hyperfocus on blood gens.

Idk where you took that idea that ruin is in perks that work on blood gens but it doesnt all kilelrs have is huntresser hex laluby which is strange because that perk is total mess or undone works on those gens one of worst killer perks probably.

This is again less than before (because now like ten weaker gen regression perks work on blood gens) but still most survivor friendly event so enjoy.

edit: for context I havent tried fast track and I havent seen anyone try it so after I watch this I will make my picture on it

The problem with the video is that none of the games shown actually back up the conclusion.

First trial: killer only got two hooks, value of Fast Track would have been exceeded by lots of perks.

Second Trial: killer gets a 2k

Third trial: killer gets two hooks on survivors who aren't Hens, value of Fast Track would have been exceeded by lots of perks

Fourth trial: killers get two hooks on survivors, Hens doesn't even get to use 3 of his Fast Track stacks, value would have been exceeded by lots of perks

Fifth trial: another killer gets two hooks on survivors game

Sixth trial: shows off a Twins bug

Seventh trial: killers gets three hooks this game and seems to have just tunneled someone out. If the idea is that the perk punishes killers not tunneling this one is a bad example.

Basically - the value is coming from hyperfocus, built to last, stakeout, and the toolbox. Fast Track could have been equal or exceeded by multiple other perks.

I havent watch it all (Im on game 2) but yeah if he doesnt go against oponents that get multiple hooks which kinda misses the speed of fast track which leaves questions.

The only thing I dislike on this perk now is how its set like you get token when killer hooks someone so as you said tunneler that goes for just one has less punishment from that perk than someone who goes for more people and plays casualy which is kinda bad idea like last year devs tried to solve the tunneling and minimize it but now they came up with perk that just reward tunneling Im kinda lost here in balance team translation to what the duck they are doing here, if its as you say and he didnt get enough tokes becuase killer didnt get more hooks than its still not solved in how this perk is realy good (still that build is shreading gens like crazy, one person having full gen by themself in like 40-53 seconds is crazy thats even less than back in 2016 where it took 60, two people having gen under 30 seconds is another "pretty good job" moment tbh).

One side seems to do it much more, and much louder. How many posts about Fast Track do we have right now? How many have their been about the 15s BT increase? Gen progress going too fast? Trickester's Delusion being survivor sided despite the worst pallets I've ever seen? How absurd was the fog vial drama? And the anti-tunnel ptb meltdown? My-killer-is-too-weak posts? Trickster is bad posts? Tbagging? For the supposed power role there sure is a lot of crying.

And how many were there for the Ruin and Pop buffs? Turn Back the Clock? Henry as whole? Gens too slow because of slowdown stacking? Visible hook states for killers? Little to nothing on these. Any little change that occurs, it's killers who blow it out of poroption. Fast Track is just example #27362 of something minor that is being treated like it's world ending.

THats lot of trauma you have there, first for you one side may look to do it more but everyone has different experience. How many posts about something killer has been here tunneling, no stronger unhook features nobody will play, ghoul being op (now he is kinda ok because his vault doesnt damage and you can vault through and theres nothing he can do so a-tier but not that strong as before) or The First (henry) being new nurse (which is kinda true if bot with wallhacks and aimbot played him thing is his power doesnt work like that but rquires prediction and thats something bots in DBD cant have that good as player) and many other posts from one side about other.

Gens are problematic thing and perks that make them do survivor faster arent so strong for a reason the thing is fast track makes them faster when killer plays like he should (or many would like to) and thats going for chaises and hooking survivors which is stupid desing if you ask me thats like killer had perk that adds 10% of progress on last gen for each gen survivor make simular desing.

Tricksters delusion everyone has his opinion but from my experience on both sides and what I seen I stick more closer to Otzs opinion about this map (theres vid so if you interested go and watch it I wont write it here why I do thats different topic), you say weak yes some are weak but you cant disagree that map is prerun heaven they are weak some pallets but in combination with windows they create very strong W play and thanks to that maps los breakers 4,4 m/s killers are done there unless you are spirit.

Fog vials Idk I havent seen them but if they stayed as they were in ptb than I get they are kinda ok but I cant say for sure now in this moment.

Other things dont need comment its just same sauce about crypost which is like 95% of this forum and you just focus here only on one side of the coin (as in your first post).

Pop is ok now if you have problem with gen loosing on kick 13,5 seconds because killer have to go and get down than successfuly hook and go to that gen and kick it than I dont know what you want from killer. Gen regression has been nerfed a lot through years more than gen increase speed perks and game is build around them since 2017 from point hag came into the game so if thats your problem maybe you should look back and ask devs what will they do about it.

Another thing is sometimes some effects that are minor alone can stack with other perks and if many people run them they can have huge impact on game like 4 survivors doing 4 gens each in 40 seconds which isnt good for the game thats why people hustle now around it like is soloq its nothing problematic until sume swf comes and unlocks some gen rush potencial thats unwanted, so some time is needed and devs claim to monitore it for this purpose (I hope they will monitore it with same passion as twitter posts about merchant before they butchered her, but for sake of us all I hope they wont make such drastick change as came from that dev twitter monitoring).

edit: for context I havent tried fast track and I havent seen anyone try it so after I watch this I will make my picture on it

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_HfxcvlDZE

you can dislike it but I take in account who has what perks and who (in skill level) runs them or plays what killer etc. so I dont think like "hens gen in 34 seconds with this build now everyone can do it" or " hens hit almost every shot with the first my got thats new nurse" like everyone could do that every time.

  • @cogsturning said:

    @Aven_Fallen

It's only a skill issue when survivor lose. When killers lose, it's the games fault.

Very constructive opinion indeed, I see that midset often but on both sides.

  • Sounds good, the revault is pointless if survivor know this but somehow I havent seen someone to use it against me because its so shadow nerfed that not many people can see it.

Honorable mention to consistently laser-tagging with Skull Merchant.

I wouldnt say its mechanicaly hard (thing this post is about how mechanicaly challanging killer is like billy is harder than nurse or pyramidhead is harder than hntress mechanicaly) but I cant denny skullmerchant is hard to play and you need to spend all that effort to get budget clown effect.

I havent played her since patch that butchered her one of worst changes devs ever did just becuase some twitter groups went mad about her, shame behaviour, shame.

I kinda of liked the perk shake up tbh. I quite enjoyed using Spies as my info perk for a change.

it's not that I have an anti killer agenda or something it's just that we all know some people enjoy events because they see them as free slowdown. the blood gens were kinda ridiculous but it forced killers to cut off the blood supply routes. made facing ghoul every match somewhat bearable

Perk shake ups arent bad but it was more perk shake up only for killer side (because all gen related perks effected on 3 gens in the entire trial and survivors needed only to do one from these 3) and mostly killer powers were nerfed like pig was unplayable there or freddy was super nerfed with no mobility (only on these 3 gens), I kinda disliked how this event screw up hooks because of blood pumps spawn and how blood gens were fast and esy to do sometimes it was total mess plus no huge bloodpoint reward as in previous bloodmoons which is the key part of them to get more bp.

    @100PercentBPMain said:

I know everybody else hated it but idk if I like perks and such affecting blood gens I'll have to see if the balance is any different. watching people still stack Slowdowns and getting destroyed by the blood gens was quite cathartic idk why we listened to those poor blight/ghoul players wanting their pain resonance value.

Best way to play killer before was to slap endgame perks plus some chase and ingfo perks (not bound to gens like nowhere to hide) and try to get kill before endgame so you could destroy rest with that endgame build because blood gens were done in like 30-45 seconds when two people did one so all you had to do was as survivor 4 blood gens ( took like max 60 seconds but average time was like around 40 seconds) and one normal gen.

  • Maybe wont suck as that previous one becaue killers perks now work (some) with blood gens and all killer powers work with blood gens so no nerf to pig, freddy, knight and other killers whose powers didnt worked with blood gens previous year, Idk about addons because some addons like these that show gen progress by color or drivers license on ghostface how will these work with blood gens or mostly important if will they even work with them but we will see.

I just hope this event wont screw hook placements and angles again how it did before (there were few post about it like some hooks on rpd where so angled to wall that you couldnt hook on them and didnt even recieve the promt fot the hooking).

We will see what devs cooked this time.

  • When I see it its swf or atleast on duo but last time I saw it it was on 3 man swf all had ds,dead hard adn shoulder the burden plus one perk of their own like unbreakable etc.

People saying that perk is weak are totaly off that perk can totaly wreck killers preasure especialy when the few gens are left and killer needs a kill a simple of use StB makes that survivor live longer and killer looses lot of build preasure in hooking that guy and buys lot of time so others can do gens.

Its very strong perk in right hands but soloq cant make strategies work mostly due to lack of communication and thats why no one uses that perk in soloq but in hands of good swf its a very strong perk that buys lot of time.

I definitely think Singularity is in the running.

It's a different kind of mechanical effort than something like a Billy curve, but the amount of sheer mechanical effort you have to put in to use that power effectively is truly head and shoulders above most other killers in my opinion. Being able to keep track of every angle and position of every pod you've placed is far beyond my capability, at the very least, I'm always impressed by a good Singularity.

I think larrys downed by then autoaim he has (tbh I dont use it because it doesnt work for me its same button as switching camera to another only difference is that you have to hold it but it never aims on that survivor for me just switches camera if I hold it and theres some other biopod/camera in view, thast why I dont use it doesnt work for me and makes this killer way more complicated for me and clunky).

I know its not autoaims that just aims for you but it helps him orient the direction where survivor in range is so it helps, sadly it doesnt work for me I tested it and for me it just swaps cameras and doesnt aim to survivor in range but if I take it in count this makes larry not that hard (if you play with this autoaim assist and use it) because it does the hardest part of his power for you (finding that survivor while fighting disorientation and getting that hit or tp from it before that survivor gets from range or hides), second hardest part is knowing where to place you biopods to get good value but that isnt that hard as thing I mentioned above.

Cant denny he is harder killer to play but this feature makes him esier if it works for you.
