I just think there should be meaningful nerfs and not just "oh make a killer feel bad to play" as a lot of the blight nerfs usually suggest. 2 tokens lost of pallet break. Great start but this is not it. Literally a majority of the blight nerfs I see are fueled by anger and stress for the "I just don't want to see this character again in my life" than actually create a healthier solution.
blight is a killer that once u know how to play him it dont take long to warm up and stomp teams, killers like huntress for example are really hard to master because u need to stay active for muscle memory, but blight is too simple, rush bump and get downs, once u get the hand of it the killer is giga busted. the nerfs he received are justified for sure, but there are more than 1 problem with this killer, when somebody dodge left when u swing to the right for example u should not be able to swing back to the left and get that hit, this needs to be fixed, and all those hits that are not in the front of the camera should not be hits, simple as that, ive got a lot of time on blight he was my main killer for a long time and the only people that barely even manage to beat me where the strongest top comp teams, and even beat them as well, this is why i moved away from blight and started to play billy, because blight was a free win killer and there was no sense of reward by winning with this killer, and dont get me wrong billy is op as well, but not as broken as blight. now blight seem to be very strong but in good spot, needs to change the bad hitboxes and all is good, also servers are really bad lately, and if hits were base on low ping instead of hight ping, dbd would be much greater game.
-
dbd is pvp, naturally going to be competitive overtime, problem is that the more competitive a game become the more people will cheat, and more cheaters will inflate the game. look at csgo for example, nearly every lobby have cheaters, dbd will be the same eventually.
-
if u punish people too much for quitting they would unisntall the game, means u will only have sweaty games and also lose of playerbase, and yes the cheating problem is serious problem, i get so many people banned recently.

Proof or just dont approve of it personally?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnor3kYTfc0there are plenty of those hits btw, u can also gap hits from turning hit from left to right or right to left to cover bigger hitbox and avoid getting spinned when u normally shouldve missed. this vod is just a random youtube video i found to show an example, those type of hits should not be possible and it looks weird and unprofessional.
-
5sec was good, no idea why they turn it to 4 but well at least is not 3
-
shoulderflick is an exploitable bug that should be fixed asap.
-
Cheating in dbd have become common because the more competitive a game become the more cheaters will be involved. its only going to get worse, ive been in global elite in csgo, played esea,. i quit this entire game due to cheating problem, official servers had so much cheaters, in the begining it was tolerated a bit but it became so bad like it became unplayable, eventually cheaters will overrun dbd, wallhackers and speed hackers, ive had player with similar hours to mine over 12k blatantly speed hacking and wallhacking in the most obvious way, mind u i used to play fps competitive for 11 years in tournies. i can spot those type of cheaters instantly, the entire match was obvious cheater, dude never get banned lol.
-
no, if bhvr will ban players that use reshade, then half of the community will be banned which makes no sense, most top comp players are using reshade, also some maps are not looking good or comfortable to play without shaders sadly, accept the fact that some people will have advantage over others, be it higher fps, better monitor(oled etc), better keyboard/mouse, better headset, even better gaming chair and lightning in the room, some people with less stress in their lives = advantage, get it? there are plenty of advantages in many forms. also nvidia filters can be used as well, and u cannot ban it.

Like I believe we're being more then fair we're not trying to repeat skullmerchant. But the matter of the fact is blight has been king of dbd for 6 years in this broken state and this first round of nerfs doesn't affect good blights only bad blights who zone with 4.6 and the second round of nerfs are just gonna address his problematic add-ons like the speed addons.
After all this I believe Blight will still be top of A-Tier at the end of all this that's hardly a SM treatment I'd say.
blight stays S tier even after the changes, thats cause his basespeed wasnt changed, bhvr couldve remove 0.2 or 0.4 of his base speed it would be great thing.
-
4.4 would make him useless, because people would run made for this and gain extra movement speed as well beside the fact that he would run slower, which would make it nearly impossible to catch a good survivor player also chaining pallets against him would be easier if he wasnt fast, im not a ghoul fun, but i think he should stay 4.6, i think his power leap range needs a slight nerf, or have a bigger cooldown with longer enrage, or simply remove the mending state for first m2.
-
so u havent played killer for years and u expect to stomp people? hone ur skills and u will be fine.
-
u can still vault after them, u just dont want to do it when they hug the pallet, if they hug the pallet just break it then they have no distance on u and u can easily catch up to them and down them. ghoul is very strong in current dbd.

Every time I've played a game with friends it's always killer tunnel and camping I'm not even lying. I almost want to delete the game but I don't want to I like the game a lot but it's not fair.
btw, if u soloq, u should use camaredirie/reassurance/sprint burst/ds, this should help u a lot against tunnelers/campers, even kindred can work well and shoulder the burden, but sadly its more like bad matchmaking, if u have teammates that get 2tap and they feed the killer pop pain res dms/grim and such, its game over.
-
tunnel and camp is fine, killer powers being broken is not fine tho, for example having a tunneling bubba is fun, having tunneling blight is not fine.
-
cause she's solid and underrated and require proper teamplay to deal with, i got 93% killrate with her.

As a console player, there's no point reporting Communication Abuse because we aren't given access to post game chat. I personally don't think I've ever seen a obvious hacker, so I rarely report for Exploits either. So it's primarily Gameplay Abuse/Trolling or Unsportsmanlike behavior. Being AFK for most or all of the trial, not participating by hiding or doing laps of the outskirts of the map the entire trial, rage quitting, survivors allowing themselves to be hooked or working with the Killer, Killers working with survivors, bodyblocking, holding the game hostage, etc.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4070383#Comment_4070383
What do you mean by "evidence"? If you're using the in-game reporting system, you can type the reason for reporting after selecting a category, but I don't see any way of submitting recordings or screenshots through this system. There's not even a way to view match replays that I've ever seen.
When I do submit directly to the enforcement team, I have my console record the action in-game, download to my phone and trim it to less than 15 seconds before submitting it. It won't allow me to upload anything longer than that. The result is the reply emails I mentioned previously and I very rarely have ever seen confirmation in game.
I prefer to use the in-game system as it's less of a hassle, but I can't submit evidence there and console players weren't even able to type a reason until a update within the past year! We were only able to select a category and submit. Are PC players able to submit recordings or screenshots when reporting in-game? I've never heard of that before.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4070508#Comment_4070508
I've never talked to any of them verbally, but sometimes they end up sending toxic messages if they happen to also be a console player, but I don't think that voids a in-game report because Behavior doesn't have access to that.
Also, before my friends abandoned this game over the past year, We've reported people together for the same behavior and I never seen action taken. I'm beginning to think there is some sort of flaw with console reporting and it's extremely rare it's ever acted upon. I'm assuming all of you confirming that you do receive confirmation are all PC players. My friends on console have never received confirmation either during their time playing.
u can submit screenshot and type those in the chat from image upload sites or links to ur vod, also nowdays u can simply copy past within the chatbox.

Ok, but do you play on PC? I play on console and none of my group ever receive confirmation.
pc yes
-
Yes, especially if you have evidence to share, i got so many people banned for exploits.
-
i agree, there is way too many cheaters today, and those streamers with massive winstreaks are vpn to certain locations where they just pub stomping new players lol
-
i also got those maps a lot, normally when im killer i get lots of badhams, when im survivor i get nostro. lol
-
nearly every game u get a cheater nowdays, the anticheats in the gaming industry is failing so hard.

He stays there due to his power, if they nerf his kit more in that second phase than he will might fall down a little depending on what they will change but his bread and butter now are his dashes than base movement speed he isnt clown who would got huge nerf being 4,4 or freddy.
Furthive chase isnt that great tbh is just working well if theres someone close to hook and even with blights mobility you wont get more than like 10-12 seconds which is very depending on type of loop and survivors skill but more on that loop some loops cant be outplayed in 10 seconds even with 120% speed and more deffinitely wont be cut in 10 seconds by 115% speed even if its blight, his core strenght is his power.
play pop pain res, furtive chase and friends till the end on him and see for urself if its good or bad, for me its insanely good, since blight is my most played killer i can easily 2tap people with it.

Doesn't that kind of defeat the point though? I thought everyone was upset about the blights going on 2k winstreaks. These nerfs won't change that, those players are still going to go on massive winstreaks, it just now will be harder for the less skilled players to play blight. So nothing actually changes.
ye i would have suggested 0.4 nerf to his base movement speed so his base stacking with addons would also be % slower which would make him Balanced top A tier killer. but yea i guess we will see, bhvr might even buff blight somehow, u know.

"THE END". Clickbait titles are so cringe.
yes those people are cringe, blight even after the nerf stays S tier in the hands of good players. and bad blights could just change builds and make him useful either way. also furtive chase is still a thing and could be used on blight for massive rush speed and movement overall.
-
well blight nerf is justified, and he shouldve get a bigger nerf than what he got, his rush speed is still the same speed which is a massive problem still, lets say his base rush is like 9.2, making it to 9.0 minimum should be a thing, i would personally suggest 8.8 base speed instead of 9.2. on most loops is impossible to dodge a blight hit once he got the pallet, having that small change can help on some loops if played correctly.
-
mmr inflation, killer should get the mmr if he abandon after a win match.
-
lets just hope he stays like this, and also that speed addons haste wont stack. then he will be fine, reworking him into a buffed version would be a huge L. after this nerf he would be S tier still but at least he will be easier to handle.
-
map rng when versing ghouls are something else, normally getting a lot of deadzones for some reason.
-
Massive W for BHVR for this one, perfect change, the killer will still be very strong but not ultra broken.
-
im over 12k, blight is my most played killer i swear on my life, this is the best change blight got since release, im very happy now i can play him and not feel like i bully the survivors, W BHVR!
-
ghouls have exploits that could make him teleport around the map, ive seen a guy that fly above the entire maps and teleport behind players, could be a cheater. also blight indeed server a proper nerf.
-
blight needs to be 4.4 movement speed and he should not be able to stack speed addons, so speed stacks will be auto cancelled on him, and he should lose all of his tokens when he break pallets, this way blight will truly be skillful killer. and he wont be too much bs to deal with.
-
hex ruin is a problem for this event.
-
my most played killer is blight, he def needs a nerf, i trained my friend on blight now hes on 86% killrate with over 300 games on blight lmao.
-
worse things in the game is ping value dsync system, low pings should have advantage, low fps cap, 120 is very low, 200 is the sweetspot, RNG and MMR rng should be fixed asap, also mmr should be strict on high mmr, good players should verse good players, not bully simulator streaks, also killer should not be able to abandon winning games.
-
as a former blight main i rather see blight getting nerfed to 4.4 and he should lose all his tokens when he break pallets, thats the bare minimum. also some speed builds are really op on him and should be on the watch list. like furtive chase with friends till the end.
-
both vecnas are top tier killers with a lot of potential.
-
ive reported those terminator bots ai cheaters and a lot of cheaters that were blatant and nobody got banned yet lol
-
it only benefit the killer, having high ping on survivor is actually downgrade to the survivor, lower ping players should get advantage in validation. as it is in every other game.
-
Game stopped being Survivor sided at 6.1 update and forward, the only time of recently where the game was legit survivor sided is when pallet density incident happen, but after that the game is now back to killer sided on average. also there is massive rng factor, recently ive noticed that the rng could shift from really hardcore survivor sided to really hardcore killer sided.

Just because there is a higher percentage doesnt mean its gotten easier at all. There is pretty much no way in telling why this has changed as bhvr has meddled several times with the MMR in that timespan. Youre just jumping to conclusions without having any evidence.
it is far easier, just because u cannot beat top comp players doesnt mean the game is harder lol

They ALREADY see that, All streamers I know of complain about sweaty meta all the time.
they get medicore players and complain tho xd
-
ds is currently bugged so expect a lot of tunnel, i recommend sprint burst, shoulder the burden, off the record, and anything else u like and wanna use, this would help a lot in tunnel by daylight meta.
-
mmr is not working properly, maybe due to cheating issues, if bhvr will fix mmr i think all the streamers and pros will see only sweaty lobbies and cheaters in every game so they dont want that, thats my assumption.
-
either new cheats or bug, most likely a bug, forgot to mention ur not the only 1 experienced it, ive seen somebody complain in a lobby about it as well.

Current gen consoles, yes. But if the DBD devs never optimize and implement it, it's a moot point. Currently, consoles of any gen can only go up to 60 FPS in DBD.
this should be told to bhvr, make 120fps for console and 200fps for pc. problem solved.

I'm not going way weigh in on the rest of your comment any more than to say I believe the top killers should see some nerfs and the bottom should see a bunch of buffs, but I absolutely agree that MMR needs to be stricter.
I've been matched against Lilith Omen a couple times recently when he was doing a Blight win streak, and I just have to wonder why on earth that happened. Why am I, a solo queue survivor who's only slightly above average in terms of skill, being put up against one of the best Blight players in the world? And I repeat: a Blight player who was doing a win streak, so we were all dead at 3/4 gens both times because he was obviously going all out to ensure his streak kept going.
I remember Behaviour made MMR stricter for a brief period not long after the system was introduced, and a bunch of content creators and others at high MMR complained about having to wait longer to find lobbies. I understand that must suck, especially if someone is a streamer and has an audience they need to keep entertained, but it shouldn't come at the expense of 100s of innocent solo queuers just hopping on for a few chill matches. It just leads to matches where the survivors get decimated, then on the other side of the coin, the next match those survivors could get matched against a brand-new killer and the killer gets decimated. Matches that are genuinely close are much rarer nowadays. It's usually a complete stomp for one side.
ye i get u, im on 25+ winstreak since yesterday, im rarely losing games because i nolifed this game for too long, it would be fun to get lilith in my lobby often, the last time i played against that guy he used iri tag with 20% movement speed and we beat him but he was tryharding really like dude played like its pub comping, we did the same tho so the match was pretty even. we got 3 out tho, but the thing is how often i get him? once a year? it would be really good for the health of the game if u throw the sweatiest people in our lobbies, the issue is u know they will complain about it, not every1 is ready to lose games often. im getting back to comp dbd this april, there is nothing left for me to look for in pubs, i tried to have fun, but its either i go with my 4men top team and stomp every game, or i go with randoms and struggle vs medicore andy's, the best solution would be a rank mode. dbd rank where all the sweatiest players can play with rewards, and leave the casuals for normal lobbies to enjoy themselves, they can try to win in those casual lobbies of course but there would be less of a reason to be mad, people would not be mad for losing in pub lobbies as they would in rank, but what im worried about is the cheating problem, the cheating problem will only get worse, so many good games died to cheaters.

"would make the game way more fun for everyone."
Except for console players. Devs can't even bring console to 120; why should BHVR take the time and resources to give PC players, who already play the game in optimal conditions compared to console, an even bigger advantage?
The current-gen consoles capable of running games at 120 frames per second (FPS) are the
PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S
and it will get higher in 1-3 years from now.
-
spirit is in good spot right now, i dont think she need any changes, any buff to spirit will simply put her on S tier on average which is not healthy move for the game.

So.... just started playing the new chapter and I love the update with the new Trickster, lyric video ect. Tried playing normal games (the one without Trickster's map)... why has solo queue gotten more horrendous??
• 1st game - Completely fine, had Spirit
• 2nd game - Teammates decided to hand themselves over to Myers within 5 mins of match and one of them was randomly slugged AND TRIED TO BEFRIEND THE KILLER AND STILL DIED
• 3rd game - Was okay, had Weskie (forgot to mention, did tunnel quite a bit)
• 4th game - Everyone was getting slugged the entire game FOR NO REASON by The Houndmaster
Honestly solo queue feels like it's gotten worse... seriously has the mmr shifted at all by any chance when the update was released? And also has there been an uprising of slugging or something? I just wanna play some survivor games man... 😔
slugging counters fastrack which recently got buffed.
