  • Just another reason to tunnel or pick 2 survivors thats it, somehow I dont see it that often for now but I have seen some content creators start to make videos about gen build with this and it wont take long so more will do this and this bs gets to the masses than it will be gholing time till they adjust it.

One of best ways to prevent tunneling is to not only punish it as recesion but reward spreading hooks too and this perk compleatly kills this healty ideology that many want its like comparing dying light first version against the current one and arguing which is better for the health of the game (everyone who has common sence will know its current one that isnt rewarding tunnelvision that much as the og version which gave 25% slowdown after you killed obsession).

I doubt dashing off ledges is ever going to come back. It just seems like something they don't want in the game for whatever reason.

Thank god demo can still do it but I fear it will be gone soon too.

hes basically a chainsaw killer now if you happen to get near somebody they just immediately explode. now whether or not that's worth the mental fatigue of being looped around rocks is up to you. The community has decided for Henry "this is not worth it" and dropped him. I'm sure most will drop Trickster, too. But I think that's okay. 115 Trickster wasn't really in a good spot anyway

Well 115 trickster wasnt that bad, if he compare him to this one I think there isnt much of a difference this one is only better where the 115 trickster was already good (just 2 less knifes need to injure thats the difference) but sucks in high wall loops even more 5% slower base speed and slower when holding knifes, less of main event time per match plus weaker around hooks (115 trickster could just get one healthstate injure basicaly hit 8 knifes and he could have main event but this one cant use it near hooks and thats where it shined plus keeping s-rank is more beneficial).

In power he isnt much better than 115 trickster and is more map dependent which in fast phased meta isnt good thing plus is more punishing to play as (even more than 115 trickster tbh more slowdown and less ammo), there are many ways in which he sucks more but as you say trickster wasnt in good spot anyway and that he isnt worth for majority players I get it he has that henry philosofy that he is very hard even harder than 115 version.

I still think henry is almost dead because of how good and consistent you need to be to get something, people that said he was new nurse kinda arent the best in putting theory in practise and imagining what it will look like in live world compare to what it says and looks like on paper. Just like uknown henry sounds strong and great on paper but in practise he isnt that great unless survivors you play against doesnt run straight and are super predictiable but than which killer isnt good against survivors that play like this, which killer isnt good against some survivors that run like headless chickens and doesnt even wonder why everyone is hitting them every time.

  • Map looks nice but the windows that are god tier and lot of los breakers make it suffering to play on it as killer even some stealth killers are toaly screwed over by loops there and personaly I have better results on badham or erie than this map its so frustrating map unless you play survivor because if you do than its chill in city with night time.

  • @100PercentBPMain said:

he's both stronger and more frustrating. he's now in the same tier as Henry.

    Stronger in what?

He is better in open areas and lower profile/wall loops I get it but thats where he didnt struggle even before this rework or even after he was first released but now he feels like frozen nutela sepecialy on high wall loops the combination of slower movement speed with less knifes and shorter laceration duration is realy terrible plus ranks do nothing till you get s-rank.

  • Terrible, he is fast as frozen nutela not to mention you slow even more when you pul out the knife and when you put it back yeah just playing as slowdown simulator. To his ability to get faster downs its just the same but he feels super bad on jungle gyms and higher wall loops even worse than before which is excatly what I imagined him to be, weak at what he was before and strong in what he exceled before.

Main event sucks I not sure but before when you got it you could use main event even when you had no knifes I belive which now isnt possible and biggest nerf to it its how rare it is to get it compare to before like before his rework you got main event after every injury with knifes but now you have it one or max 3 times per game, from my personal experience even when my chases werent stale and I did multiple things to get rank up fast I still get it once max twice per game and that was it not to mention the dilema that keeping s-rank is 90% of times better choice than using main event that slows you down even more and wastes the s-rank.

  • Probably strongest thing that came from his rework but very situational and still you can trade even if he camps hook so I dont think its so bad (usualy one will die annyway if killer focuses on him).

What are you talking about? I want blight nerfed let alone let him keep hug techs

That it was someone else with same pic, still rest is other part.

  • @MashedBroccoli said:

if something minor like dracula’s pounce hug tech was fixed then something majorly game altering like weskers should be too. Dracula’s pounce hug tech was basically a non factor in comparison.

The biggest difference is draculas hugtech was minor thing for the killer compare to his wide form abilities (hellfire, bat form) and he got compansated for its removal, devs clearly stated it was unwanted and fixed it even less than in month I belive.

Wesker has one power and his hug tech (still is only instahugs are broken now) one of ways for him to get hits on simple loops with rebound depending on players skill with the killer and type of loop, the biggest difference why it is unwated when it was kept like this for 4 dam years they could have take it away any time in these 4 years and they just waited till now.

Wesker can hug tech but his instahugs from which I heard arent working as before and instaflicks are dead (basicaly where yo ucould bound second time after first bound fast now when you dod that wesker will still go the same path where the first dash was heading and not where palyer flicked his camera thats nerf).

I dont understand why devs so balantly gut his power now without compansation and justification, its not making any sence it feels like some dev tried to play as survivor and got cooked by wesker main so he said "not like this, lets nerf this ……" and it looks like it more like this case than just some bugfix.

Same with ghoul hit while vaulting if it was unvanted than why would they kept it so dam long after he got nerfed and bugfixed so many times it just doesnt make any sence more like "screw you" message to all wesker mains.

  • I fear not for absence of wesker mains surely ghouls will represent them in their absence.

    @supersonic853 said:

What would some give to get such a loyal friend who cares for them, lucky one.

  • @BongoBoys said:

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but those are all classified as bugs and unintended by the devs and they have been fixed so this is how wesker is supposed to be

And I believe you were the guy who was for blights hug techs to be in game?

Its kinda double standart because compare to all other techs weskers hug tech is the art of preccission and skill and even when its easier on higher fps (120) its still becomes weaker and less usefull tha it is on lower fps so its totaly skill thing and it has easy counterplay just dont hug the loop if wesker is gooning around it with bound and is not dashing to you or chasing you.

Wesker was pased years just nerfed (shadow nerfs like these bug fixes that turn of his techs that make him viable on higher mmr and against skilled opponents) and even when being called perfect killer by many he is no longer a-tier and is just getting the smoked, shame behavior shame.

  • I think current scratch mirror is better because he has lunge (the prerework mayers with scratch mirror had no lunge and needed addon to make his half lunge but still it wassnt full lunge), this mayers has slower speed but with one addon he is back at 110% speed with lunge only negativity he has is lack of guarantee map which I get it can suck but on other hand you are 110% speed killer with wallhacks and lunge that is something previous mirror mayers wasnt and only thing that kept him on simular level were map offerings but hold on the survivors used theirs aswell or green hand so chance for indoor map werent guarantee and most of maps survivors picked werent friendly for scratch mirror mayers only maybe the game (god pallet simulator) but even as indoor map this isnt so good map for him compare to larrys, hawkins, rpd.

  • Trickster slower than before in most things, wesker nerfed, ghoul nerfed, nice looking map with terrible balance especialy for slower killers and killers without solid antiloop, some perk changes, new survivor that is quite solid, some prestige rewards and thats it plus nerf to the first (he got buffed too but his timer nerf is bigger thing than having longer lunge on m1 because of how his power works needing multiple hits on single survivor to get clock timer started and than you can injure with m2 so there isnt any place for m1 in most cases with him compare to pyramidhead).

Thanks for answering my question. I have a similar question in regards to the Leatherface killer: I already purchased him from Dead By Daylight's in-game store with Auric Cells. So, what would happen if I were to buy the Leatherface DLC from either the Epic Games Store, Steam, or PlayStation Store?

Probably get charm and thats it (if there is charm to it).

If you have him on your account you use and dont want to have him on other account than its totaly wasted rather than keeping the money or buying something else, I think you can with your account share all your games progress on platforms so its just waste to buy it again.

  • @Skeleton23 said:

To answer ur question. Yes they are making it a intended feature. Idk why but it is now apart of the Ghouls kit.

Because they are totaly unpredictiable like when he droped it was part of his kit and now it isnt so its not unintended because if it was than it would been taken away year ago (or taklke about and mentioned just like hug techs on some killers like dracula, blight or as his kidnap tech) in many of his nerf patches and bug fixes.

Just like new patch there isnt any part of community that it would be aimed for like trickster rework just likes some of his mains, wesker got nerfed, new map that isnt that liked for its gen spread and holding W ability, ghouls nerf out of nowhere all thats missing is making pig 4,4 m/s and its pinickle state.

Survivors mainly hate trickster due to the limited counter play. If trickster either had less knives or there'd be a real punishment for missing throws then there wouldn't be as much hate imo

They hate him because in bad spots he cuts them down fast but just like clown who is one of best antiloop killers in the entire game trickster sint even b-tier strong killer all he does is he can vut oyu down fast in bad spots and thats it, no mobility or slowdown unless he cuts down half of the team.

If you want to add punishment for the killer missing than rework whole trickster becuase how can killer who needs to hit multiple hits can get punished for missing it would be in current versions of the killer the skullmerchant treatment.

Ps survivors hate everything that isnt fun for them but that doesnt mean these things are bad or busted like half of the survivor plyer base loves to face blight and would wish for his hug tech to be back. Do you think blight in current execution is healty thing form the game and would be ok for him to have hug tech back? Personaly I dont think neither thing, he is little too busted and needs some nerfs to make him less broken and s-tier realy doesnt need another ability of antiloop.

deathslinger is another 110% killer who can only down with an m1 .

Thats one of many reasons that m1 killer argument falls down. He is like 110% legion with better antiloop.

Soma and Dracula's true form both have recolours, so I don't think it's outright impossible.

Not to mention Julie and Susie for legion who arent legendaries but, could be considered them since they outright change the characters animations etc

Yeah maybe she will get some deep rift variant but I dont think it will come in free part of the rift due to her skin quality.

  • I dont think we need trickster twin as new killer and I dont think the majority (survivor player base) will even allow that thought simple becuase of their pure hate of trickster (like it or not its know fact trickster is super hated among survivors).

Its good skin tho, but her heels audio from footsteps feels like walking jackhammer tbh (from what I saw), kinda shame to have as killer screwed up audio form all things nowdays.

spirit and singularity both can only m1 to down . They have mobility but all power hits count as an m1 . Legion and ghoul are a hibrid where they can m2 for the injure but always m1 for the down.

I would say spirit and larry has more versitality and reliability than legion, same with ghoul plus spirit isnt the normal consideret m1 speed of 4,6 m/s but they surely are m1 attack base killers because they cant damage in defferent way or down than with m1 attack (we can argue about ghouls attact thats special and puts into mending or legions becuase they have it, both of them but I would say thse are not reliable attacks that can down differently than m1).

Larry has greater untiloop than most m1 and great map traversal plus catch up directly to survivor, ghoul too has great antiloop plus mobility and cacth up.

I would say it comes all to that killers power and reliability like wraith power isnt that super great and only with best stuf laces him in b-tier or legion can injure with special attack but he sucks in everything else and has no options than frenzy and m1 (especialy m1) to gain downs, but this discussion what is and what isnt m1 killer isnt very realistic becuase there are many killers that have more than just m1 and almost every time there is some other killer who is verty simular to them just better (ghoul>legion) but I would say these weaker ones that rely on their m1 the most are these "m1 killer", on other way its pretty endless drag that has not much of a one simple outcome.

I would say he is clearly an M1-Killer. But the line can blurry at some point. I think it is important to consider how often a Killer can injure with the M2 and how useful the M1 is in a chase. And if we look at Freddys chase power, then it is not really different than Clown and nobody would say that Clown is not an M1-Killer.

Freddys only way to damage without using M1 are the Dream Pallets, but I would not really consider this something which would not make him a M1-Killer, because the amount of times you actually remove a Health State with those is pretty low.

The map traversal also does not really help him in chase. Sure, you can cut people off, but I think it is way more efficient to do that as Ghoul.

And now your in it, freddy has map wide mobility

A M1-Killer typically cannot traverse the full map in seconds. Or a M1-Killer cannot be on you after seconds and cut you off after they put you into the injured state (or mending state).

only thing that saves your claim here is that freddy ability isnt realy that great for cutting up more like 1 in 100 cases you can use tp to cut survivor off but its nothing very reliable.

This calim here fights the legion being m1 because he can injure you to mending state and be on you in few seconds if he clearly targets you and cut you off (his cutting off isnt very good compare to ghoul but we cant say its nonexistend thing).

So your m1 deffinition fights sadako, wraith, legion, dreadge which are killers I would consider m1 killers even wraith because he has mobility and catch up but he cant do anything than m1 hit and his ability isnt that great compare to others and without certain addons basicaly sucks a lot (the faster reveal addons and breaking ones). That m1 killer conversation is just big trap because you add "but m1 has no catch up or high mobility or another way to reliable injure or put you in mending and catch up in seconds" but all these requirements basicaly fight the fact pig, clown, freddy, wraith, sadako, dreadge being m1 killers.

Ghoul is kinda more powerfull than "m1 killer" but he can only do what legion does and on top has blights mobility plus buffed wesker vault, we can argue but his main way to get downs a is m1 attack and his vault hit isnt reliable source of getting downs just like freddys dream pallets.

Its bit tricky what is m1 and what is not due to so huge variety and execution of each killer but I would say "m1 killer" is killer on weaker side even with some m2 attack that isnt very reliable (pig, kinda freddy) or mibility to travel across the map or catch up (sadako, dredge, wraith).

We can argue that dreadge is stronger or wraith than rest well i would argue that freddy is strongest m1 killer becuase he has slightly weaker clowns hinder and map wide tp mobility that is fast and very reliable and gets you directly to objective (something not many killers have and this gets you on top of gen every dam time unlike dreadges tp or springtraps door or xenos tunnel). Freddy is in my oppinion high b-tier but still m1.

How would you even place houndmaster? She has some mobility and chase power which is weaker slingers pull but has only m1 attack and dogs injure isnt that reliable nowdays I would say after her nerf.

I stand by the opinion that buffing his spray macro is probably the least fun way of going about things for everyone involved. I'd rather him be more consistently usable at tiles than being relegated to a backrev infection bot.

Yeah sprays aren t that problematic they act as slowdown and full infection is just punishment for not going for spray, I would like him to be better at tiles tbh especialy when intaflicking is dead, he recieved last few years more nerfs than buffs which I find strange because he wasnt super strong at his prime compare to todays version and we can clearly see how he is just getting lower and lower and devs are even helping that.

took me about 15 matches with only his/her 3 perks to get adept and the 50 laceration achievements. I do this with every killer to really learn their base kit, used brown add-ons. I could not get merciless killer until I used the Bounce-Knife add-on. Got lucky with his caged gate perk+3 survivors trying to bully me. I got a main event and struck all 3 down in one go. It was crazy.

But the other 10 of the 15 matches? ROUGH. Even for a long time counter-strike/battlefield player like me.

My main observations (ONLY while using 3 base perks and brown/green add-ons)

    1. Its quite easy for survivors to run around a structure if I am in main event
    2. moving while blades out feels super slow
    3. You really need to conserve ammo. Numerous times I would down a survivor and re-engage with another and run out at a critical moment
    4. I did try "leading the blades" or predicting, or prefiring - etc - again this has mixed results and of course burns your blades and slows you down
    5. Bounce Knives add-on should just be part of Main Event and part of the kit. If Michael can just M1 and blow people up in Tier3, why does Trickster need to do insane aiming to get one person down in Main Event, all whilst needing to farm to S Tier

I thought they would give main event bounce knifes and even if they kittke nerf them (make them in main event do 50% of damage meaning half the bar of laceration point if survivor is hit by bounced blade) it would still be more interesting and not op considering that now trickster has less acces to main event than before and must choose if he will use bonus of s-tier style or waste that style for main event.

Thanks for feedback, I about to try him this evening but you varified me about his drawbacks I thought he will have, well I hope they buff him a little like 115 speed or atleast more knifes and give main event more love because he is all about lethality he has no mobility and all his succes comes from lethality and if that lethality is lacking than its bad to paly him (he doesnt lack it on low profile loops and open areas but tbh here he nerver lacked in these places and always no matter which version it was he was super strong here), last thing I kinda dislike is the bs of killers loosing power near tha hook like the first (vecna) has almost no power near hook and this continues to endgame which I find even more sick because endgame is part where killer power shouldnt have limitations like that even anticamp protection isnt there and still unhooked survivor has for 15 seconds the haste and endurance which are enought to get him away from hook, tricksters lost of use of main event nr hook is total nerf to his lethality especialy with less knifes in base form.

Last thing to mayers its just finisher build to tier 3 conditioned by that survivor being death on hook when he gets him its like pyramidheads finisher or vecnas finisher when they have his eye or hand and are dead on hook or anothers vecnas (the first) finisher when they have 4 points and are moriable when death on hook, its good thing because you dont need to go for hook but on mayers this is like 50/50 compare to other finishers you either grab that survivor (which he must make easy for you) or you will down him with your power (he can force it or go in locker etc.) and biggest difference is that mayers has normal mori with normal lenght like 8 seconds but all these other killers have shorter mories as this finisher that takes like half off that time or even less. Its nice thing that fits his character tbh.

  • @PetTheDoggo said:

Well, hopefully they will revisit him in upcoming patches as they did with Oni and just make him work again.

I don't think it's good idea to discourage players from playing your most popular killer. Wesker is one of few killers survivors like to play against, so you want killers to play him….

This patch did exactly opposite. There is no reason for someone to start playing him and Wesker mains are stopping, because of your changes.

Wesker is one of pinicles of DBD not only he is pretty easy killer to understand (two dashes) and as survivor to go against but as you say many players on both sides like him, he is in top like 3-5 most played/picked killers in the game and his unwanted features make his skill depth and arent super busted and have counterplay (techs) some I would argue are hardest things to do in whole game (hug techs, instahugs and bluetooth tech).

His last changes werent good for him like only buff he got was -0,5 seconds to his 6 seconds cooldown for one bound (dash) but his infection time it takes to maximum and infection chunk after unnhook got nerfed plus debuff from gull infection which was -8% dpeed is now -4%.

I think there is hope for wesker due to his pick rate and popularity, if I remember correctly his dlc drop had hoghest number of players DBD ever had and since that time not even springtrap dlc droping didnt broke that player count, wesker is (in my oppinion) deffinitely best vilian in resident evil series and one of most liked characters after leon so I think there is hope for him he has masses of people behind him unlike twins or skullmerchant.

  • Now ghouling the ghoul in Tokyo had got deeper meaning.

  • @cluelessclaudette said:

I think I'm a pretty successful spirit/wesker/michael. I don't play Trickster but this update made me decide to try him.

He.Is.So.Slow. SOOOO painfully slow. I can aim cause I play FPS games but the corners and walls just really mess with that to the point where it feels like very high cost to play, and LOW reward (no pay off). Like busting my butt off with blades and not spamming them. Trickster is also virtually useless without the blades at this point.

You cant realy spam knifes in this economy right now more be like top trickster mains like wacek (guy who destroyed many top survivors in hens videos, trickster main) you have less knifes but injure with less so the best thing is to hit them slowly because his knife pull out speed if I remember correctly is slighty faster than before and his movement speed is slower.

You cant spawn due to having less knifes and reloadibg with slower base movement speed is terrible and if you throw like 8-16 knifes by these caps (throw them rapidly) your throw speed increase but trickster will slown down even more which means worse outcome in blocking lid areas/loops and more waste of knifes probability which isnt good.

So if you aim more and font spam you are playing him great but I bet he is slow but I will try him tomorrow.

Apparently, Trickster permanently being in 4.4m/s is not considered unhealthy for the rest of the game by survivor mains.

Wont surprice me because trickster is in top 5 most hated killers by survivors and if someone doesnt think its truth well the reason you dont see survivors complain about him that much is fact that he is super rare but if his pick rate would increase to like huntresses numbers than you would see more people openly complain about him, he doesnt gives them much chances in open areas and low profile loops places where huntress or slinger can be doged or baited even other stronger killers trickster will knife you down and I havent met survivor that would like that only people that claimed to enjoy loop and face trickster were trickster mains/enjoyers because they like to learn about him from other side.

Not entirely. Rebounds are back but insta flicks and bounding off a high object are gone. Idk why insta flicks had to be removed.

Hope the rebounds distance is same as before and not shorter.

On instaflicks I dont get it its high skill high reward thing where player in short time needs to be very accurate and if he is than he is rewarded but they are easier explained than done (simular as hug techs easy to explain but super hard to pull them off). If instaflicks are gone than its nerf overall tbh.

From what I am hearing from Wesker Main's its a nerf all around, but I am not entirely sure since I don't play him. I will ask my boyfriend, he mains him.

In ptb they removed rebounds (basicaly if you dash into wall or some object and hold A or D he ended up further away to side from that place he bumped into, this was used to outplay some loops with teo dashes) and last are instaflicks like you could dash super fast after first bound before snimation ended or domething like this but they nerf it, these techs are pretty common and simple yet effective to outplay loops but they werent working in ptb so Idk if they are working now after update but I dont think they put them back.

I'm enjoying it so far, I've never played trickster and I'm loving the opportunity to play him for free. They should do this more often so people can try killers out before they buy. He seems fun to play so far after a few games, and I have his adept now. I'll probably shard purchase him after the event finishes.

The new maps looks absolutely dope, not sure if I like it mechanically yet. It's too easy to force a 3 gen in that market area. 3 gens in easy los of each other in a relatively open area is not a good idea.

Buy him even if you wont play him (with shards) because he has very good perks like locker aura reveal perk that is great on him or huntress naturaly because they have to reload but can be usefull on some maps on other killers with certain builds, hex perk that is basicaly bamboozle in hex form and you dont need to vault window but I think due to hex totem spawns bamboozle is still better but this perk still is solid hex perk not total trash like ghouls or chuckys hexes, last and probably one of best endgame perks noway out this perk can if you max it and hook every survivor block gates for one ehole minute from moment gates are powered and someone touch them which gives you chance to get down and get hook or even kill on someone who is death on hook and move for another survivor or to slug them if its possible like its great perk.

So even ig you dont like trickster one thing cant be dennyed his perks are very good all of them are solid compare to majority killers that have only one or two good perks so to all I advice buy him atleast for perks if you can (and you can do it for shards, remember perks and characters are more important than skins so its better to invest your shards here first than on skins). Hope it helps same advice with killers like artist, clown, plague, blight, hag these killers have great or solid perks with good effects that wil help you a lot now I know pinheads are free but perks like pop, currupt or pain res are just top tier s-tier perks worth that shard investment to that character.

I know in shrine you can buy them but be realistic if that killer isnt looking that bad to play for you and he has multiple good perks like artist, clown that its better to invest these 4,5-9 k shards than just 2k for each perk and leveling that killer to p3 you get their perks on all killers inventories unlocked in tier 3 which is worth it. I know its lot of text and you probably know this or many things from which I wrote but consider it.

  • Yes in new ptb (it seems it will come to live) two things wesker cant no longer do and these are rebounds and instaflicks (using dash as soon its possible, now there is delay to animation so you cant instaflick).

I dont main him but I saw it in few videos on YT from wesker mains and these nerfs are true, sad part is these two things are the simpliest techs on wesker that are very effective and make his straight dashes usefull on loops and without them even some simple pallet loops are almost impossible to be played with weskers dashes only having golden egg addon and knowing hug techs if that loop allows that are useful there.

Only buff is that wesker after vaulting with his bound power cant be vaulted back by survivor and will get hit (same should apply for ghoul) but in cost of his most basic techs he has in chase with his power.

I think some wesker main got answer to this issue from some nod here (I think it was Mandy but Im not sure) that devs know it and will try to make these techs part of his basic power and not as unwanted bugs that they are know which is nice thing but real question is when? Because without these two things weskers power realy sucks especialy if you dont know how or cant hug tech, then your power will suck a lot more in chase and you sill be more playing as m1 killer so you will be just two dash demo literally.

Personaly I think devs will bring it back because wesker is one of most played killers with lot of mains and survivor enjoying to face him so there is high chance this will come back but real question is when, two months? A year?

  • Bots already posses abilities normal survivors dont like they cant be mind gamed, they know perfect distance they are from killer and react to it not to mention how broken they were in the start where hitting them with smaller hitbox projectile was inmpossible almost because they perfectly doged it or they know where killer was even if that killer was in oblivious mode or was in stealth ability like wraithor pig, ghostface coming to them and they still perfectly prerun you.

All they suck in are few things like doing stupid vaults on short loops that are mid to lower safety like zwalls and wasting resources plus not being very altruistic when its need to be like save when killer terror radius is near hooked survivor but thats all their weakneses.

The og bots were broken especialy with range killer because you couldnt predict hit them with shot like as slinger or huntress and only aim on them and they knew it and doge that plus those ones with flashlight were able to blind you midchase super fast thanks to their broken aimbot, they were as 2v8 nurse or spirit almost perfect and super hard to outplay in ways you can real players.

All I think they need is to stop tbagging and sanbaging and they will be fine plus save when killers terror radius is in hooked survivor area thats it, not to mention that you cant almost win hatch situation against bots unless you get lucky because as soon hatch spawns they know perfectly where it is like damm wallhackers same reason you cant realy mindgame them on loops like shack.

    They destroyed him.

Not only did they destroy him, they didn't listen to the fans telling them to keep him at 115% and 44 blades.

The fact that you have less blades in total bothers me actualy more than him being 4,4 m/s like if he is slow than atleast he should be slowed from all those knifes he carriers.

  • @Navenallimcam said:

How is anyone measuring 'X meters'. You're doing this on visuals… its guesstimation. No one can look at a survivor/killer and watch them walk away… and say 'That was 18 and a third meters,' I know some can say 'You get X meters with Y perk' Great. This isn't that. Feels like a 'lost game → go to forums' type of thing.

When someone is putting forth an argument for themselves, exaggeration is only human imo. This is likely not that big a deal, but I don't want to dismiss OP's issue either. Rather let others do that.

Survivor or killer has some speed thats same (effected by some perks or killer powers have some speed), its known fact that these stats are on wiki for the game and base survivor speed is 4 m/s so distance of sprintburst is fastest speed survivor can have basekit (it can be 10% faster with unhook bonus or some perks but these are single digits casualy which doesnt change that much in meters) so sprintburst gives you for 3 seconds 50% speed thats 6 m/s.

Its simple math nothing crazy, maybe not 100% accurate in terms of match distancing but you can see/tell clearly (most of times) if that survivor used something stronger thats not possible in vanila options for people that dont own eight wheel upgrade on their gaming chair (after seeing endgame sreen where that survivors loadout is clearly revealed).

Last point of verifying process is endgame screen (like if he had sprint+bloodrush and it was short time after his unhook you would know it was legit) where you see thats survivors loadout and can easily match these facts into your case especialy if you have this match recorded, even slightly speedding behind corners can be seen by some experienced players, even wallhacks can be told sometimes (because cheaters are most dum of all players and they wont think how to hide it becuase they suffer from main character syndrom in PvP), thats all there are ways to tell some ridicilous stuff from basick monitoring especialy if you record it or you cant cacth someone like with wraith in 10 seconds while cloaked you will know.

He has no video but from he wrote he should get to these survivors in time, scratch mirror is 110 speed (4,4 ms) with one addon that is must for this build to work (or you would be only with scratch mirror 105% speed which isnt good for chase), if he says truth and couldnt get them even in straight line which 110 speed killer should be able to do than its clear unless they run certain perk combo that gives haste but than that would be clear in endgame screen on these particular survivor he coudlnt catch.

Fun fact scracth mirror mayers is best wallhack exposure/detektor because you can clearly see people react to you behind walls where they have no clue or certeinity where you excatly are if you are hidden behind some walls like in indoor maps.

Not so much to be honest. Trickster changes dont really concern me, I never was a fan of playing him. He is most likely better for Trickster Mains, but this makes him even worse for me to play. But I am fine with that, not like I really played him at all.

Will not look forward to face him more often.

Survivor is whatever, Perks are meh like always and it is another Skin.

Not looking forward to the map at all, people are hyped about it because the map looks pretty, but it is basically an Indoor Map and I dont like those kind of maps.

Atleast they keep their later map policies still the same and thats the thing that almost each killers map is one of worst for that killer, this one being compleat dissaster for trickster and I bet that map will be boosted.

  • Not much tbh, it seems that by fixing wesker scamper (pallet vault with dash) hitbox so you cant vault back in him he lost some things in that process like ability rebound which is bread and butter for many loops and ability to dash as soon his dash power is charged which makes flicking possible and these things were killed in ptb so its only his hug techs (which are by my oppinion hardest thing in the entire game especialy on 60 fps and lower) and skiniberst that are his only techs that help him in chase when he wants (the player) outplay loop with his power, shame.

For trickster yeah seems more colorful than before and more stylish but he is just still the same only better in what he was good and worse in what he sucked so good for his mains that wanted something closer to original version but nothing great for people that dont played him much because they dont find him interesting or fun (I dont think his changes will increase his player base only maybe for month or two because people will wanna try him out which is normal thing same as with mayers or new killers just look at krasue).

Some changest are positive or interesting but the negative changes (wesker) are enough for me to dislike this patch already before its even live.

That feedback is about the same level as me saying that I pressed buttons on my keyboard to write this response.

You may not like it but that guy has some point, killers (some) are super bugged that it isnt even enjoyable to play them such as bugmaster i watched vid where one her main explains that some bug that effected you pull speed and distance of you dog by your fps, that isnt a thing now but the dog never pulls survivor to the point where he caughtch him or beyoned that point so its looks they fixed bug but made shadow nerf insted aka leaving the weaker pull.

the cheaters knows tho since the cheaters could see the visible mmr and if they abandon they can see if they gain or lose mmr.

I dont think normal cheaters cans see this, devs wrote here (some moderator but I dont remember which) that by abandoning you wont loose mmr but Idk we are just guessing here, only thing we know that there are some brackets and thats it.

  • @Hex_Boons said:

I don’t think anyone knows how abandons affect a player’s MMR on either the killer or survivor side. Apparently this is a tightly-guarded secret that BHVR can never reveal to us mortal players.

There was some thread some time ago where someone spot that when someone abandonded or they (Idk how it was) they had in stats of their play loss and someone here from moderators said something that its just in players stats wrong but that abandon has no effect on mmr, now its on everyone if they believe that or not but from what I know its super hard to drop mmr I would say impossible because you would gain it faster than loosing it so this thread is more like shot in the dark.

Truth is no one realy knows, maybe even these guys which made and sell cheats to the mass of plebs abusing them dont know the numbers of mmr.

Yh i mean even if they can change him, they don't really have any reason to, since they won't make any money off him now

True its kinda shame because I believe his main chain was about to get some small buffs.

I mean yh, i wasn't saying she was good in chase. And yh mindgaming mainly applies to loops with high walls that can hide her.

I know, problem is there is very few loops where they cant see you so you can mindgame it, only those midsafe ones where you can go back and fort and force them to miss vault to get hit come to my mind but even loops like shack have lot of los and corners to checkspot.

  • @HoodedWildKard said:

I can't see them doing anything with pinhead since they don't have the licence for him anymore

I think they can change him with some small tweaks but I doubt they will, if you remember pinhead and plague were in roadmap like two years ago but they kinda forget about them and maybe it was year ago and some time after pinhead licence was lost so they wont touch him most likely.

  • @HoodedWildKard said:

She can be tough to play if people dont cleanse. Getting better at good old M1 is always helpful, mindgaming at loops etc. You can run helpful perks in chase like brutal strength, bamboozle, spirit fury etc to help catch people out. Thana is always good on plague for passive slowdown that is basically always active.

My top tip is never underestimate the power of undetectable/oblivious. It is very strong if you have everyone perma injured. My personal favourite perk for this is trail of torment. Gives you undetectable almost on command so you can wait you have everybody coughing and spluttering, then blindside them on gens for insta downs. It also pairs well with genkick regression perks. It's a tactic I use a lot on killers like ghoul, legion, slinger anyone who can put injuries on survs easily but can struggle to land the down. Other handy perks include hysteria (since ppl are injured a lot), whatever hex plaything is called nowadays, aliem instinct, heck even insidious can work well if you've chased someone off a gen

Thing is plague isnt best in chase she is pure m1 without red puke and she is one of tallest killers not to mention her lamp or flail or whatever its her weapon makes smoke that can be tracked behind her so good loopers when the loop isnt super tall where its all 50/50 guessing have clear sight on you and this makes her one of worst midngamers in the entire game because most of loops cant be mindgamed with plague because survivor has still los on her or parts of her character like the smoke thats behind her, dam even kanekis tenticles move with his character and not against him or ghosfaces flips arent moving with him bu he is small and can crouch to mindgame or many other most used cosmetics dont have them and these are best on him.

  • Mabe run thanathophobia that may force some to cleanse but if they dont than they know what they are doing and will jump on gens because plague without red puke is just big tall (super tall easy to spot when looping) killer that has nothing but only makes survivors oneshot but its just super tall m1 killer. It may sound good but seasoned survivors wnt go down fast and they will jum on gens instead of healing so you have less slowdown if you cant get fast downs thats why I dont like her much becuase I generaly dont like killers on which survivors control your power and plague is perfect exsample of this.

Just run thana and maybe someone will panick when all are infected thats best that comes to my mind or use some addons, palygue has one of best addons and is very addon dependent because her power can be controlled easily but those apple addons that give more corrupted fontains at the start or that iri that gives you basicaly weaker (shorter in time by 20 seconds I think) red puke after survivors do a gen makes this killer actualy a-tier without stuf like this plague is mid/low b-tier at best (not to mention healing items arent that busted as they were).

If you like her my best advice is to get her to p100 like Otz did for only reason, so you can in this generous economy get addons you want (like her iri ones that are super good) or need for each level and this may help you to play with her power more and get better.

Just like oni I love his character and desing but hate how much his power is limited but since its bit easier in top of his techs options I play him more but thats why I love killers that have power all the time more like billy, wesker, huntress so you can train and experiment with their power than just wait more for best situation and fear you will misstime it and screw up your hard gained power.

Best perks are slowdown ones on her because of the time you loose on whole survivor team that they wont waste with healing but invest in gens and thanna may help you with corrupt (corrupt will buy you time so you can go and spread your infection on all team so thana takes its true effect in slowing a game and may give you some more survivors cleansing).

  • Yeah second thing it can be but others I dont find possible to make such distance in like 2,2 seconds because even sprintburst give you 18 meters in 3 seconds, he claims it was more than 20 which i find super hard to discuss because distancing in DBD isnt that easy. It was either some use of sprintburst or better gaming chair or he forget to mention he got stunned and they have smash hit.

Drops pallet and runs 24 meters by the time I'm done breaking pallet, yep, I'm definitely overcomplicating things.

That was sarcasm you dont need to take it that seriusly, if what you write is true than they were cheating unles they somehow achieve 99 sprintburst but that would meant they werent running all the time (you must know from info you saw in endgame screen where you see everyones loadout).

Cheaters are common here and there isnt saddly anything done with them.

  • @DemonicDemons said:

Yup just ran into ANOTHER speed hacker, this game is actually getting on my nerves..

Maybe you overcomplicating things, maybe he buyed new energy drink or mineral water with DBD brand from eshop.

  • Kinda is but late years people are getting more suspicious about anything in this game because subtle cheaters are so common, personaly Im getting sometimes paranoid too.

Yeah I really think the time judgement is rough for people. I also over commit but when I hear three gens pop in quick succession, I don't go, "Oh no the gen speeds are too fast!" I say, "Well, I screwed up." And once you over commit that hard there isn't much else you can do. I had a bad run last night and had five 0ks playing a strong killer that I'm decent with. Looking at my stats, they're all 8 to 10 minutes long. It was me that messed up, it wasnt the game.

If they jumped gens at the start and he played oni who has literally nothing to help him in chase just maybe some perks and bloodlust, if he went against good looper who played super safe than it very possible to get first down near 2 gens left of after 3 gens poped one survivor needs basic 90 seconds (if he has nothing for gen speed or doesnt hit some great skillchecks) and 3 people have ability to do 3 gens give to that like 20-30 seconds before he found someone and than 1 minute or little over those 60 seconds long chase and you get there it was just max effiency and he had good looper who played safe probably so nothing so unskilled with oni or something you cant achieve with oni.

  • @cogsturning said:

What nerfs has Oni had that caused this? You're saying yourself it doesn't get done that fast when you play survivor with a gen build, so you don't think the problem might be on your end as killer? When I have gens popping around me fast. I know I blew it. I didn't choose the right gens to patrol or apply pressure properly. I didn't manage my time well. You said you chose the fastest killer in the game but it still wasn't enough. That sounds like they just outdid you.

And using one match where you didn't get a kill is a pretty small sample. I lose plenty of matches too. You're not supposed to win them all, nor are you automatically entitled to a kill every match.

Oni hasnt got nerfs but simply is m1 with nothing till he gets first hit, so he could get matched against team that was above his experience and got draged by someone for long time and rest of them poped gens nothing crazy just maybe your favorite mmr anomaly.
