BHVR Please - I want to be heard. Killer's need a lot more work in this game.

It's no surprise that there are A LOT of killers in this game that just have issues.

If I can say this that a friend mentioned, @OnryosTapeRentals "I would love to see Chapters Updated like Tools Of Torment, Sadako Rising, and Doomed Course just like how trickster received" (Give or take is the quote correct me if I am wrong, either way I stand by this.)

Issues, that make for a very frustrating experience.

Pinhead for example. You're lucky if you can get his power to actually work for you half the time. When aiming the "Aim Icon" bounces ALL over the place making it quite difficult to actually get it to where you want it.

Houndmaster suffers the EXACT same issue when using the Search Command. Simple and small fixes like this would really go a long way for players when it comes to playing the game and not stressing out because your power may or may not work properly.

There are a lot of killers that still need attention to bug fixes. I know we are trying to work on that one patch at a time but goodness. I feel like it's become more frustrating than it ever needed to be.

I know some people might just default answer this to "Well, if you are getting that frustrated you should just play another game." Should I? Is it too much of me to ask for the game to play and operate smoothly. I get it if issues arise here and there, but all of the issues DBD faces when it comes to the killer experience is on the daily. Every to every other match there is a problem.

If I finally do get a pretty decent game, I get hit with the "Dedicated Server Issue" and get booted back to the lobby. Extremely frustrating.

Aside from bugs killer designs still need tweaks. Skull Merchant is LONG overdue for love. She's been benched for way too long.

Sadako still suffers from survivors holding her tapes hostage for free. Her addons also are outdated.

Houndmaster suffers from the dogs pull coordinates constantly dragging people into pallets, instead of the pull coordinates dragging back to her location. ←——- My biggest pete peve I would give feedback to the Dev Team on.

Pinhead's chains break on impact if he bumps into them ever so slightly impacting his ability to chase people so you are rewarded for nothing really when you do get a really good shot. (Again, same for Houndmaster when you get a sniper grab only for snug to drag them back to the pallet.)

Chuckies hitboxes are weird as all get out and he has his own set off bugs plus design issues.

Demogorgon just needs love and addons adjusted. Ghostface same issue.

These are just a few examples as I wanted to lay some thoughts out and hopefully to rest. I just want to be heard.

  • I get the frustration but the devs can’t fix every issue at once, bugs have to be prioritized based on severity and how many players are affected. On top of that, some things that feel buggy can actually come from latency/ping differences since the game relies heavily on server timing and hit validation.

Its gonna take time. Just take a break from dbd for a while.

  • Very well said. I appreciate they can't fix everything at once but there's some things that have been left in a bad state for an unacceptable length of time now. The top 3 biggest priorities, in my opinion, should be:

    • Skull Merchant rework: It's no secret that I don't like the Skull Merchant and never have, but those that do like her deserve better than what she currently offers. The idea of scrapping the rework was floated, and I strongly believe that would be a huge disservice, on top of a string of other failures with regards to this Killer. If we wait too long, the few people that still play her will just give up and move on, so this should be priority no. 1 if they ever want to redeem Tools of Torment.
    • Houndmaster: Doomed Course is a chapter that I love conceptually. Taurie's great, the idea of a dash Killer that doesn't move herself during the dash is unique, and I've wanted a pirate Killer for ages. But the power is just so janky that I don't enjoy her at all. I'd love for them to refresh this Chapter and come out with a map too, so I don't mind waiting a bit longer for it, but it definitely needs revisited.
    • Doctor and photosensitivity: This is something I just learned about yesterday, but apparently in the Tokyo Ghoul Chapter there was an undocumented change to Doctor's static effects which triggers photosensitive epilepsy in people. There either needs to be a toggle to reduce flickering effects in the settings, or a reversal of the visuals to what they were pre-Tokyo Ghoul.
  • I can't see them doing anything with pinhead since they don't have the licence for him anymore

I think they can change him with some small tweaks but I doubt they will, if you remember pinhead and plague were in roadmap like two years ago but they kinda forget about them and maybe it was year ago and some time after pinhead licence was lost so they wont touch him most likely.

Yh i mean even if they can change him, they don't really have any reason to, since they won't make any money off him now

True its kinda shame because I believe his main chain was about to get some small buffs.

  • Add Unknown to that list too, they legit just need number tweaks and it'd go such a long way.

I really hope they keep giving old killers this much love with sequel chapters.
