I actually haven’t played rpd until a few days ago. It had been almost 2 months since I played it.

Rather rpd than tricksters delusion on killer, that map is terrible just bigger hold W simulator.

I disagree I really enjoy Huntress in 2v8 lol its works wonders against the sprint burst users. If the Deathslinger buffs help his range/reel speed , he is gonna be a lot better too potentially. I'd also love Trickster but will have to wait a while for that (I love playing ranged killers lol)

I think what a lot of people struggle to get their heads around is how much easier it is when you play with a friend you're actually communicating with, its so much fun and the snowball can happen so quick.

People just need to chill the heck out and realise they wont win every match lol, that's okay when that happens. I get its more frustrating coz you're in a 15m queue, but thats just it, you probably don't have the experience in the mode yet to make such statements.

When the stats site works again I'll show my performance, I've not done so bad on Huntress at all

Huntress is only good against sprintburst if they run in open area which makes her able to take that shot but if survivor has brain to keep track of both killers he wont do this if he can avoid run in open not to mention doging with sprintburst is super easy you can even bait oni and other fast killers near small objects. Huntress isnt bad but on tall loops she is super bad and she suffers from mobility issue due to her speed plus many maps have lot of line of sight blockers which makes her sniping terrible and very hard unless you get aura.

To second thing no offence but playing with friend and comparing it to playing alone with random is totaly off because in duo you have more info and can help each other when needed but playing alone is way harder and untiliable compare to being duo which makes some killers more playable (in duo with friend) compare to using them alone.

I think everyone in 2v8 is way more chill than in any other mode due to its none so competitive nature but if you playing alone and dont play killer you main like trapper or else than its not worth it with other killers, being in duo thats different story especisly when you have coms and comunicate between each other than even combos like slinger+ghostface are viable due to information teaming because of comunication.

Stats arent so reliable in 2v8 due to no mmr there so you can get potatoes more against you but ones you get good looper with sprintburst and especialy few of them which do gens zhan having killer with mobility (especialy when all killers with mobility in 2v8 have catching up potencial which is very helpfull even oni when powered) is night and day change.

  • Only worth killers to play as in 2v8 are those with good mobility, catching up to survivor power and some antiloop the rest is just not worth playing especialy when sprintburst on command is very liked by many survivors with short cooldown and maps are super huge with lot of safety so only killers that are woth playing are wesker, oni, blight, nurse, billy, wraith, spirit and dracula because they all have some solid power with mobility or antiloop compare to killers with very good antiloop like deadslinger and chucky they get hits fast too but they down have mobility or trapper/ ghostface are map dependent and can be easily countered in 2v8 or nemi who is super slow with tiering up his mutation and in combination with sprintburst and pallets repair his power which needs 3 hits to down isnt that great even as breaking tool.

Other killers tahn these with mobility arent worth using or are super undebuffed for this mode like slinger, pyramidhead and if I or most people have to waith 20-30+ minutes than I will run killer that is worth it not just goon around with trapper and get totaly slaped by survivors and making my teammate game even harder than it is.

Like it or not these are facts and what makes them facts is why you see many of the killers I mention and killers that arent that good you will see at minimun like pyramidhead.

That was not a perk issue, but a core gameplay issue, which has been solved with how many times regression can be triggered on the same gen.

Pretty much, people just say it was because skullmerchant existed and these perks were strong but truth was there was no limit on gens how many times it can get regressed which made more problems and it was key part why genkick meta was so braindead and so strong because kill could regress gen infinite times with these perks and very long matches happened due to it.

  • @Mr_K said:

They want you to play like that so they can teabag you at the gate.

Pretty much kinda lame move best thing is to play like you want and punish their mistake hard because nothing is for free in DBD and than get kills (which is by what devs intended as core objective for the killer) and than collect that salt because if you will get kills there will be always salt.

I literally mentioned the kidnap tech, which was the only problem with vaults, which I also mentioned.

Your entire comment basically can be shortened to: "I didnt fully read your comment, but sliding depends on how good the ghoul is. Sliding isnt always avoidable, but because there is a 5% chance it can be avoided, it's fine to give ghoul a guaranteed hit on top of his basekit guaranteed hit".

No, Ghoul absolutely needs to EARN his second hit, since he gets the first one for free. He doesnt earn the second hit in most scenario's, which is why people despise ghoul.

It takes 2 seconds from the moment of cancellation, but by the time he lands next to the survivor, its less than 0.5 seconds. That is by far the bigger problem. Vaulting really wasnt that big of a problem compared to that. You could countervault a Kaneki on a pallet or window if they messed up their movement, but you couldnt counter them sliding towards you.

The only problem with vaulting was the kidnap tech, where kaneki would vault while survivors would be stuck.

So you mentioned kidnap tech but kinda missplayed it was big problem.

Your entire…. is more showing that you didnt read it to fully understand it but ok.

Ghoul earns second hit he is the most or one of the most high tier or now more specific A-tier killers that play like m1 killer in chase because his power isnt much useable on many loops due to its range requirement to be able to hit something you need to be like 5 or more meters away from it, his only part of his power on loops that somewhat useable is vault. Ghoul ears his second hit if he uses his leaps well its not as easy as getting his first hit to leap near survivor or into him and down him befoer he reaches safety and its skilled thing one of hardest things to do especialy on loops but you would need to look up something about ghoul than just hate him for his existance.

  • Depends on games situation but but like either hook them, slug them and if game is in my favor than let them but personaly I dont have the luxury to be in favor against people I play normaly so either slug or hook them.

If you want to denny them than keep them alive but I have seen plenty of people just trying to look like they give up and than in endgame they had genrush build so after that patern I stoped to be nice because theres no reward in it just salt and ego boost from others which think they are better because you let them go.

play pop pain res, furtive chase and friends till the end on him and see for urself if its good or bad, for me its insanely good, since blight is my most played killer i can easily 2tap people with it.

Tbh I dont run furthive that much because to me its very map and killer dependent and friends till the end I have best use with that perk on ghoul and dreadge because for me its more like info perk than exposed one.

  • Well his power is dependent on using addons called discipline which makes his shock more usefull and he is very ping dependent, he can denny survivor a vaulting or other many actions but he slows himself down a lot which makes him worse than clown in general only where doctor shines more than clown I would say are very long loops like these you could saw in 2v8 because doctor can shock less and reach the survivor faster and doesnt need to worry about survivor reaching pallet or window so often as on shorter loops.

His info from shock is nice but his slowdown with madness 3 is joke for everyone who can hit skillchechs and it doesnt do much as slowdown, it would be nice if his tier 3 madness caused more illusions of like pallets or red stain and high terror radius but these do some addons and I dont see him getting more buffs maybe some range and discipline into his basekit.

Doctor maybe annoying as merchant is but they are actualy weak, they arent best in what is their power set to do (antiloop for doctor) and their other qulities of his power arent that great either like antiloop is kinda like freddys but I would say weaker on more loop types and only stronger on longer and safer loops but deffinitely worse than clowns, his slowdown is there but very minor thing compare to weskers infection even krasue has bit better slowdown with shrooms I would say, his info is best thing he has and probably best basekit killer info right after dreadges nightfall detection. Thats doctor in his all colors I would say.

Doesn't that kind of defeat the point though? I thought everyone was upset about the blights going on 2k winstreaks. These nerfs won't change that, those players are still going to go on massive winstreaks, it just now will be harder for the less skilled players to play blight. So nothing actually changes.

I dont think he will get that close to 2k wins after that change just now he will be more dependent on using his power and survivor who drops pallet will slow him down a bit which doesnt seems to be huge but it will have its cost.

I believe he will be somewhere to nurse winstreak numbers and it always depends on rng with survivors.

  • @azaxydbd said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4069772#Comment_4069772

yes those people are cringe, blight even after the nerf stays S tier in the hands of good players. and bad blights could just change builds and make him useful either way. also furtive chase is still a thing and could be used on blight for massive rush speed and movement overall.

He stays there due to his power, if they nerf his kit more in that second phase than he will might fall down a little depending on what they will change but his bread and butter now are his dashes than base movement speed he isnt clown who would got huge nerf being 4,4 or freddy.

Furthive chase isnt that great tbh is just working well if theres someone close to hook and even with blights mobility you wont get more than like 10-12 seconds which is very depending on type of loop and survivors skill but more on that loop some loops cant be outplayed in 10 seconds even with 120% speed and more deffinitely wont be cut in 10 seconds by 115% speed even if its blight, his core strenght is his power.

That's what I'm saying. You wouldn't be able to prove it, unless maybe the person was streaming and said as such or they said something in end game chat. Even then, I don't know if that would be considered reportable and is such a hyper-specific situation, I shouldn't have even brought it up.

    I was just yapping.

I think its deffinitely reportable but how you prove it like ban one guy for one thing and you set a precedent that now makes issue like they ban one guy for not killing other three survivors just one and other killers which will do same wont get in this very simular issue same treatment.

So as you say I dont see it doable unless it happens to some high end dev than it would be possible but with internet working how it does I dont think it would stay like that.

Thing is you cant be sure with nothing nowdays (in DBD) like we dont need to even go much further look at skullmerchant just few numbers because people gave up under hooks to not get dc penalty and some twitter communities yapping about her to devs and that brutal change that effected everyone (some more some little to none but she sucks for everyone now).

  • @BongoBoys said:

My experience with this is this happens rarely enough for me it's a change of pace in my matches so I'm not really bothered by it

It was in prehistoric times of this game being friendly as killer considered chad move when there was no mmr but old og ranks, the more points you had the more pips you get and if you died fast with few points you deranked so bing bonk wraiths that let everyone farm were wanted, nowdays they are wanted as overused social workers, times change.

I meant more, the killer singles one person out and kills them because they didn't want to farm. Not, tunneling one or two out and farming with the rest, but I certainly could have clarified that better.

I feel like that would be targeting and report worthy, though you'd have to prove the reasoning was because the survior wouldn't farm, which good luck with that.

I looked through old posts, and I swear I remember one where a mod commented you can't single out and sacrifice someone for refusing to farm, but you'd need proof that was the reason they got sacrificed. Maybe I'm wrong though, I'll keep looking through some posts.

Edit: Not the post I was thinking of, but it mentions killing others and letting the ones farming with you live, as you mentioned in your post.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/79QTHWBE4HUN/farming-png.png

    And how you proof it?

If there is hardcore tunneling that isnt bannable (logicaly because killer is doing what he supposed to and thats killing survivor even when he is using shortcut) than how can this be used, you would need like record the whole game even when spectating to have enough proof.

I would be surprised if devs banned for this more than cheaters (which they dont ban or it takes eges).

4.4m/s is completely dependant on the killers power. No, trickster can't really deal with it. He's extremely map dependant. It doesn't matter with spirit because her movement based ability has no cooldown before you can hit people.

You also omit that there is an abudance of pallets and LOS blockers nowadays

Killers speed shoul be on strenght of his power like we can look at nurse why is she so strong and her power looks broken? because she moves slover than survivors 4m/s is survivor speed (100%) and this is nurse 96.25 % ( 3.85 m/s) so logicaly she shoul be with best power to compansation for being so slow and same shoul apply to other slower killers like good exsample is spirit and henry but some killers are here from prehistoric time of this game like huntress, hag where devs tried to cook something and it was mess back then and now it looks kinda like something solid.

But something tells me pig will be 4,4 soon.

It all depends how you run if you allow him to be in your survivor with his slide speed than its hard to deal with but if you double back or run around round object he wont have that short distance to you.

Vaulting was always buggy kidnap tech does it ring a bell? Than it was kinda post fixed but still happened that was his problem or kindap tech with his first after vault hitbox that was very long compare to wesker which meant you vaulted something he vaulted right behind you and you couldnt move and he downed you this was first major problem and than even with nerfed vault hitbox you were still stuck there till he vaulted and you were cooked basicaly more than him using his leap to get to you and cancel just because you dont remember it doesnt mean it didnt happen.

Slinging is partly avoideable, if you mean slinging which is using his second dash fast behind his first (I think you need to be enraged for this) which makes like his slide speed stack and makes him faster this is bug into tech I believe but normal ghoul sliding speed isnt that broken just instead showing with finger on whole character try to describe what you find broken (if you mean slinging/slingshot tech than I get it).

And kindnap tech was major problem you were stuck in place and couldnt do anything and when you could ghoul was already behind that object coming for you and if you ghot stuck near pallet very close to it he just slaped you and downed you which was super common in his first realeased state.

I just hope you go to watch some ghoul vid about his techs and describe it more than just like this.

  • I think you missed 1 april.

The VAULT created the biggest problem? Not the ability to cancel the power mid-air and start recovering your M1 while you launched yourself towards another survivor, giving them a window of only 0.2 seconds to react instead of the 2 seconds they intended survivors to react?

If Ghoul loses the ability to cancel his power mid-air and start recovering, I'd be 100x happier than if they make Ghoul 4.4

It takes two seconds and he must control his slide so if you spin him he wont get that much of a distance, the vault was most problematic part since release if you remember but I bet you dont and it was till now when they remove part of his power and didnt even mentioned it in nerfs and buffs changes but only put something to bigfix part of the patch.

That ability to cancel is only good with slide effect and it still can be play around just the astronomical number of people tend to run straigh against him which is something you cant always do especialy against killers like ghoul, blight, nurse, billy, henry you should use your surrounding to block their powers trajectory or los.

  • @cogsturning said:

Nobody should see anybody in the lobby. No characters, no items, no names. If not that, then the killer's name should at least be visible to the survivors. If killers can snipe, survivors should be able to too.

Seeing survivor isnt problem its just skin, the name is questionable but only steam has some advantage by reading info on persons profile which can be either turned off on your steam profile to make it more private so others cant see info on your profile or in game settings (in DBD) where you can hide your name and profile compleatly (names can be changed so if you see Epidemy, Otzdarva or others it doesnt mean its real them).

Seeing items nowdays is kinda pointless anyway unless its 4 flashlights which means higher chance for swf or bully squad but thats not that hot so I think hiding items till 15 last seconds where no change on both sides in their build can be made or compleatly isnt bad change and last killer should be hidden thats like knowing which map will you get before the game even starts but even more than thats because some killers have cetain gameplay and survivors could utilize this information and change perks so like you know you will play against twins so you equip antislug perks or you know it will be trickster so you put some exhastion perks for distance and so on.

  • @ArcT said:

Killers have been able to do all this for years. No items? Can take off Franklins. Four flashlights. Lightborn. 4 matching Aces, dodge.

If it hasn't been a problem for killers to do this, then it's not a problem for survivors.

Or better yet, prevent both sides from seeing anything about the other, which would help curb sniping as well.

Killer just saw icons but never item quality and addons, knowing killer in lobby is totaly different thing thats like me playing playing cards with you and knowing which kards you have.

Knowing killer before match means you can either doge lobby or switch your build to gain advantage against that killer, change like this will just push more ghouls and blights out than seeing more ghostfaces and other killers.

Yeah, I can see that. Personally I'm indifferent on whether they do it or not. Like I said, it's pretty easy to tell which Killer you're facing when the match starts, even without this (some stealth Killers are an exception).

And thats the thing these "some" are excatly those that will get effected by this change and I dont thing wraith or more ghostface are so well equiped to take it as billy or spirit, larry etc. even hag will get hard nerf by this she should have map wide teleport or 4,6 m/s movement speed but I guess devs sleap at her as on swamp maps.

My only hope is when they touch swamp maps they will finally buff hag so she is more bareable to play than now where you cant do nothing just put down traps and camp hooks and 3 gens especialy against good survivors.

Why not springtrap takes 4 seconds just to be able to attack after throwing an axe and he's a weaker killer increasing ghouls cooldowns is not a huge a deal compared to him

Because springtrap has attack and its axe thats like me saying "why huntress has to wait 2-3 seconds to be able to attack after twrowing hatchet" thats the same thing as huntress exsample and what you are arguing here about is when ghoul hits survivor with leap and animation of ghoul eating blood and getting enraged on that survivor happes.

Increasing some cooldowns isnt bad but all is nonsece if its not tested well (just like wesker bug fix that harmed him more than leaving him with those bugs he had).

Idk what devs what cook on springtrap all I got was they want to buff camera use for survivors so they use them more but I hope they will remember singularity when his larry state was know as "wasnt programmed to harm the crew" because EMP use was so godlike it totaly destroyed his power and no one played him for that (thats why he is so strong now so people play him and even than he is one of least played killers) or ptb xeno where putting two turrets next to each other meant he lost his chase mode compleatly and had to wait like minute for it to get back or drop the chase and go to tunnel, if devs do something with springtrap than its gg even now that reveal can be annoying because survivor can reveal you to all for some 10 seconds or what through walls so I hope they dont screw it up as these two killers I mentioned before.

From that stream I didnt get if they will nerf springtraps power (axe) but what you comparing here is totaly something else thats first thing asn second thing is I think you kinda cooking with something I dont even think is real

    • Cancel Wind up: 1 second
    • Recall Duration: 1.5 seconds
    • Post-Throw Cool-down Duration: 2 seconds

the last is his cooldown for his ability to attack after the throwing I believe and huntress has two second too as cooldown after throwing a hatchet so Idk where you get 4 seconds.

  • @BongoBoys said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4069341#Comment_4069341

Add 1 second to all of those cool downs and he'll be more balanced

So after injuring someone should take 4 seconds? Did you even read it or understand it, adding one second to all is huge nerf in total.

Sometimes many minor nerfs to wide parts of the killer power can create huge nerf in total.

  • @cogsturning said:

I can't say I care about this one way or another. They can keep it or dump it. I generally don't start doing anything worthwhile until i know both who and where the killer is. The only killer that isn't obvious right away is GF, and if I don't see pig boxes or hear Micheal tier up, I can guess it's probably him. Scratched Mirror, which I sometimes still play, is an exception, but this won't tell you that's what's in play, so it'll still be a surprise when he pops out with no global sound cue.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4069385#Comment_4069385

    That's a great idea.

It effects more killers like ghostface, wraith, mayers (when he sint tiering up and sneaks up to someone) others have some part of their stealth revealed like by lulaby on sadako or pig has boxes (on pig stealth is almost never used to its potencial because it sucks) but if you show it even if first chase its better option but still nerf because if that killer doesnt reveal himself like myers getting surprise hit when being tier 1 and thanswitching for tier 2 chase mode to get down he will loose total surprise for another survivors who is like half or whole map away and has no clue who killer is.

  • @CrypticGirl said:

Whether I play solo or swf, if I knew I was going against Twins in the lobby, I would definitely put on all the anti-slug perks. Likewise, if I knew I was facing Plague, I'd take off my healing perks. But my understanding was that we wouldn't see the Killer's identity until we load into the match, where it'd be too late to change your loadout.

Still its kinda hard nerf for set up killers like trapper, hag and especialy all or most of stealth killers because as I mentioned their first chase and many possible downs are determined by moment of surprise which will be lost when survivor just pushes tab to look at match info which is kinda nonsence to me like at one point devs wan to buff ghostface (thank god) and on other hand they nerf him by making his possible first down super hard because survivors will know its ghostface way before they even see him or see on hud he marked someone which is hard nerf for such weak stealth killer.

  • @DBD78 said:

Wow massive Hag and Trapper nerf. Keep kicking the worst killers until no one is playing them ever again.

I would say majority of killers (survivors being able to see who the killer is in the lobby) because with this every killer (majority of them) have some weakness against certain perks that counter their power so if something like this goes into live than its all ods against killer and even if someone says "but these last 15 seconds no one can change their build (perks and addons)" than ok but one of key thing for set up killers like hag and trapper and most importantly stealth killers is element of surprise that the most importatn thing like if I will go into game and know its ghostface than chances for him to get first down are super against him because everyone including me will know we must wact out for him or hag like I will know it will be good to go and find her and wiper her traps behind her or trapper just follow him and dissarm his set traps and he is cooked, pretty bad idea of a change.

  • @CrypticGirl said:

I mean... It's not hard to tell who the Killer is at the start of the match as it is (in most cases). But I can see revealing the Killer in the lobby causing an increase in lobby dodging and stuff.

Not only that, tell me you will paly soloq or swf (doesnt matter that much) and you will see you will be going against twins so what can you do?

Change your perks to most useable against that particular killer and thats more problematic thing because this game isnt that well balanced that is none problematic to see who your opponent is this game is based on total random mess like random map with killer you dont know and perks you dont know (killers, survivors knowing their perks isnt that huge problem) and with this you can basicaly gain huge advantage right before that game even starts its not like !go fight random moster" but having whole witcher preperation with 50+ potions to gain advantage so like you will see its trickster and easily what he sucks to go against exhastion perks so you put some into your build and voila you have advantage here against c-tier or with springtrap very simular thing just take sprintburst and he cant surprise you if you wont sleep on gen thats why this thing is pretty ridicilus.

Ghouls Vault wasn't the only problem his core design is the issue his auto aim grab attack that alot of times can go through objects and when people are on second floors while ghoul is on the first floor.

His very short cooldowns and attack cooldown when landing I can go on and on about this but at the end of it all Ghoul is miserable to vs and needs to be looked at

Ghouls vault created the most biggest problems since his release and now I would say here are none because his counterplay when you learn it has no counter from ghouls side.

    Cool-downs:

    • Charge-cancellation cool-down: 1 second
    • Leap Vault cool-down: 1.25 seconds
      • Used after vaulting with Kagune Leap.
    • Leap cool-down: 2 seconds
      • Used for both cancelling Kagune Leap and running out of Leap Tokens.
    • First Leap cool-down: 2.5 seconds
      • Used after latching onto survivors on the First Leap or if they are already holding a Kagune Mark. This cool-down requires The Ghoul to be within Grab-Attack range to activate.
    • Grab cool-down: 3 seconds
      • Used after performing a Grab-Attack.

From this he has 2 seconds window in which he cant attack after canceling power and all he can do is get close with slide from leap or leap without slide. For comparision blight has 2,5 second cooldown if he misses rush and 3 seconds if he hits his rush but the KEY difference is that blight can damage you with his rush, ghoul cannot damage you with his leap only first time but cant down you (damaging you is meant into downed state here for making this more clear), this isnt that problematic part because in order for ghoul to get that hit fast he needs to use his slide to be very close to you and there are ways how to prevent it same with wraith who without uncloak addons is few meters behind you if he starts uncloaking on your level when you keep running staright (objects make killers trajectory longer and make speed less effective than it is in open area).

For charges 4 seconds per charge when he is not enraged which is 8 seconds for two leaps one with slide effect and when he is enraged its 2,5 so 7,5 seconds for 3 leaps and two have slide. Compare to now blights 10 second whole power, many people forget there isnt many ways for ghoul to get downs he has mobility and first hit into deep wound but than he has not many tools to get down only use of his leaps which isnt easy to use on loops and his vault that can be countered totaly now.

I mean yeah killers should have a chance to be in 2v8 and a lot of the world altering killers can be fixed when in the same match

Other thing is giving these killers good adjustments for 2v8 like if we look at slinger, pyramidhead, ghostface and other killers their buffs arent enough to wait 30 minutes to get a single match dith them where half of the survivors run sprintburst on command and are totaly power crept by other killers do to map size like if you dont play wraith, spirit, nurse, blight, dracula, wesker, oni, billy than you will have way harder than playing these killers and reason is obvious good map mobility plus chase power and all can catch to a survivor with their powers or totsly wreck them in chase compare to snsil like nemi or slinger.

  • Mayers? I doubt that not untill they get his licence back because now he is just dead weight and they cant use him in other modes I think especisly when there are other licenced killers like RE killers and chucky, dracula or phead I font see it possible now saddly.

  • I think that addons are now fine when he will be 4,4 speed. Will these speed addons be used a lot, I think so but than again now droping pallets and running makes more difference in outcome sgainst blight than before where he vould break psllet and tush you down or chase you down because of his fast m1 speed.

  • @BongoBoys said:

So while it fantastic that Blight is getting the Nerfs to make him more balanced why is Ghoul not being made 4.4? After the immense amount of feedback and Devs during the Livestream were ignoring in chat about anything related to Ghoul.

Why ain't the Devs Addressing and ignoring the extreme amount of Displeasure of going against Ghoul? Devs please make Ghoul 4.4!

I get you dislike ghoul but he got nerfed lately in trickster patch where his leap vault doesnt have hit ability as weskers and now survivors can vault right through him back and theres nothing he can do to stop it so ghoul now is lowest he ever been.

He is in good spot and compare to blight his power now is harder to use in chase than before due to that change, another huge thing is ghoul cant down you directly with his power so making him 4,4 would be torture because he isnt that great in getting down as spirit if survivors know what they are doing plus he is one of the most loopable high tier killers now.

Compare to blight ghouls power only covers 2/3 of blights power which is mobility and first injury but than ghoul cant down you directly.

  • @Mikeadatrix said:

Good Blights will still shred but now there is time to punish misplays and the overall speed is downtuned given how strong the power is. Great shtuff, BHVR.

Good blights will shread because its his power thats good and now him being 4,4 means he deserves that power.

  • I would be for it but judging this buffs I dont think he will get something like that because that would be rework, he will more likely get speed buff because now he is trash without beast marks and maybe something else.

  • These killers make sence like many of them need some buffs to basekit power because without certain addons their power isnt that good like bubba, ghostface and doctor. Demo needs buffs for teleport, dreadge kinda would be coold if he was better in nightfall but Idk what they mean for him and wesker will most likely get most minor buffs but still good thing I would expect some part of golden egg basekit and some buff to people that are fully infected like bigger hinder effect.

Uknown needs some buff like lower cooldown or longer uvx effect because of how limited and harmless he is with his power.

I just hope these are needed buffs and not just some trade offs like with xeno.

This will definitely increase the DCing problem.

Oh I hate this Killer: DC

Oh my team is using perks that dont help me: DC

If they add this then the Killer in the Lobby should be shown before the match starts. There's no point in hiding them at that point

Not only dc or lobby doging will increase but more bigger issue is here and thats the fact that if survivors see who is the killer they can adjust their builds to counter that killer like if you see its springtrap you equip exhastion perks or if you see twins you pick antisluging perks to counter them etc.

Thats same level of bs as killer being able to see survivors perks and item with their addons so he can adjust his build to counter them which I find totaly wrong in such rng based game where balance is very fragile thing.

This only proofs devs dont play their game if they think sbout changes like this.

I have played on his map and he ain't that horrible on it. It isn't good but it isn't an instant death explosion you lose.

Maybe it's because I don't really go for kills? Cuz I just get everyone to second hook then let them leave.

From my experience that map is terrible for 110% speed killers except like spirit and springtrap.

The prerunning is totaly busted on this map more powerfull than on larrys or RPD and slow killers will get cooked here.

  • @BongoBoys said:

Today I learned people call singularity Lary

They do for long time it can get confusing with larrys as map.

I think it comes when he was weak because emps totaly destroyed his power (they were more powerfull against him than prechanged xenos turrets in comparision) and no one played him almost and this sentance "wasnt programed to harm the crew" was to him.

Some killers or characters have nicknames like houndmaster due to her buggy state is bugmaster or uknown who is super easy to get punished when he uses his power is called harmless due to it, these are ones that come to my mind.

  • @cogsturning said:

Hot take, Ghoul was never strong to begin with.

The problem is that Ghoul is very good even in very bad hands. The other killers you mentioned take at least a little bit of skill.

Now ghoul got huge nerf against experienced players because if you drop pallet and he vaults you can vault into him plus his hotbox is smaller to things which makes his skill expression bigger.

He is still very good killer but nowhere in terms of power he was before still a-tier but not cracked, while he has power more friendly to less experienced players he still needs to chase you down and his antiloop is now harder to use than before and has counterplay.

    Like it or not.

  • Maybe some expectation from killers that they carry from previous bloodmoon event where gens couldnt be stopped and average game was around 5 minutes if survivors didnt run around doing nothing.

Now blood gens can be regressed by perks or blocked and killer powers work with them like freddys tp or pigs traps but they are still bit faster than regular gens and make survivors harder to find do to blood gens needing blood from pumps which can make getting chase bit longer compare to finding people that must sit on a gen to get it done.

From my experience gens are very fast only thing that makes this event bit bareable is loose mmr so its totaly mixed like its on most event modes so you dont face people that are yours or higher level as in casual mode but even when I have base for win (meaning like two people are dead hook on 3-4 gens so if I push them they are done and rest is very doable 3k or 4k depending on situation) survivors still can get gens fast like you can pop the blood gen but nearly full canister can totaly overdo your regression.

I love the buffs, Ripper Brace and Bloody Boa or shoes are my friend

But they really need to make this killer controller friendly, it's awful

They would need to give you autoaim or make his knifes hitbox larger which plays against him because he wouldnt be able to shoot through gabs.

I dont think killer that requires multiple precise shots to get value controller friendly and wont be unless they do one of the things I mentioned but than it would be for first thing a buff for pc and for second nerf for all especialy pc so I dont see it happen.

It's not about hiding, issue is if you start a chase while survivor has 30 meters ahead of you, they can just hold W and get a good chase by default from that.
Then you have rock loops, where every 4,4 m/s killer is going to struggle.

So you basically get faster down, because of only 6 knives needed, but it brought back classic struggles of slower killer.

Pretty much hiding is good if that killer counters running hard but trickster doesnt and on indoors like his own map he sucks hard (best way for me to play that map is to hold hooks and try to get 2k because these widown loops with hold W synergy are very hard to beat and it costs you a lot of time, sometimes its not even possible without bloodlust but that 30 seconds of no power use to get it and thats a lot of time).

Only thing that feels stronger is when Im basicaly breathing on their neck meaning Im right behind them to knife them down but in chase I dont see him betetr than 115% version because the previous tricksters version didnt even needed knifes all the time he could just use them to get first health state and than use his speed or combinate it with knifes to get survivor unsure if he is going for knifes or m1 and surprise them but this version is all about knifes plus previous version had to hit 2 more knifes but he had more of them and didnt need them to be useable plus for each 8 hit knifes he had main even aviable which was free knifes for some time so he was more harder to loop that this one who takes health faster but thats it old trickster was always behind your butt.

  • With victor try to not track the survivors movement just look at the point they go through and hold it and when they go through it pounce, works same on huntress on close range many people try to move side to side so holding a point is better than trying to flick it or follow them, for twins just look at how is she called Lynxi I believe she is like one of 5 twins main and she makes vids about them so check her if you want to get some inspiration because personaly I dont think many people play twins and if they do its few times per year or month which isnt much for giving tips (better than nothing but best tips are from someone who has more experience or is expert in that matter).

In chase charlotte can be used as spirits husk for blocking survivors way out so try to look it up and use it but this works only if you chase with charlotte and use victor from her or have him super close.

I wish they took the time and effort to properly balance maps so they don’t feel one sided for any role instead of nerfing map offerings.

Would be nice but I fear its not possible either A) by the time they would need it would take more than reworking 5 killers per year and most realistic reason B) there are so many killers that are very specific from base movement speed to abilities etc. so no I think you cant rework all maps that are viable for all killers only if you would like make 3-4 groups and create for each group variant of that map like one for 110 killers or no mobility and other for killers like blight, ghoul that have good mobility and antiloop in one power etc. than it would make more sence but having just 1 variant of each map isnt even possible that the 1 variant of that map will be balanced for all killers thats just fact.

  • @jasonq500 said:

I genuinely feel like all he needed was give him 8 extra knives

Cause currently trick pouch (one of his add-on) fixes the current issue I have with the trickster as 36 knives is way too low especially since he moves at 4.4 movement speed

They kinda did that but as usual with addon, by buffing some addon to give more knifes usual bandaid fix by balance team when the character needs it and deserves it in his base kit (after they took his speed i would expect same or more ammo than 115% speed trickster).

@Abbzy I tried in a custom and dashed and my friend was like on the side of me and i was looking forward and somehow didn’t grab him even though he was obstructing the path i was dashing in and just made me stop until the dash ended.

So its not fixed well thats bad, I guess it works sometimes but if you didnt grab someone who was in the way/trajectory of your dash and in its range than it leaves questions what is possible on wesker.

I just hope they fix him Im not good with him that much I cant pull hug techs or advaced things but urobending and rebounds is something I use a lot to get hits with wesker and if these dont work all the time than it sucks.

  • Did this patch fix fixed his hitbox?

What I mean is that I saw multiple shorts where wesker when dashed on someone and urobend before his dash colided (turned his camera to side so he woul get hit sooner) he jus slide past the survivor, this happened because somehow weskers dash only hit survivors when his camera was aiming on them but before he would grab you even if he was facing survivor with his side or back all that mattered was for them to colide with his hitbox and this was broken after patch 9.5.0.

So have this someone tryed, does it work because I havent seen it anywhere tested in 9.5.2 fix.

  • @albertoplus said:

The change i never understood was when they fixed Wesker grabbing people from the other side of the window/pallet when the survivor was vaulting it and they made it so now if the survivor starts the vaulting animation most of the time you will "bump" into them even when with any other killer power you would just hit them.

Yeah this one before you hit them even when they were behind window which wasnt great, now they can be in that window or in animation vaulting it before window and you just dash into them and bump or slide off instead of hitting them or vaulting the window as soon as they vaulted it which is what kaneki does.
