  • UI looks terrible and needs addressing

New animations for survivor might actually be good for killer and easier to read 360s (if anyone still had a problem with 360s for some reason)

Trapper's getting less RNG which is good

They buffed Wraith...I guess. Still not gonna main him again because they didn't address the biggest thing that's wrong with him: his awful cloaked movement speed without windstorm . And I've ran out of windstorm and need to level other killers so he's still unplayable for me. If you don't have windstorm Wraith is pathetic to play as and not fun in the slightest. With windstorm he actually becomes a good killer and I wish they made him less add-on reliant. But sadly he's still gonna be as add-on reliant as he ever was, this change isn't gonna do much for him.

🦀UNDYING IS GONE🦀Well it's not gone but it's not a much more balanced perk that no longer makes killers rely on RNG to get a free win with Ruin. If your RNG was bad the perk was literally useless. RNG isn't good for the game and this is a good change.

As for the map reworks Idk how good they're gonna be for killer. Gonna have to see how many stupid breakable walls they add to these new maps. I hope they address the god windows on both asylum maps but that's it.

  • You got locker saved by a SWF and you're so mad about it that you want to condemn them by name on a public forum? Holy ######### lmao.

Ok so if survivors are doing this, you don't ever go for the locker grab, hit the survivor that's close with the flashlight because they have to be in order to be there in time for the save. And voila, you're now pressuring 2 survivors by chasing 1 of them while the other either sits in a locker or jumps out and also starts being useless.

A lot of the so-called "Toxic SWF" plays are so easily countered, but a lot of killers aren't reacting to what's happening in front of them, so they fall for it all the time. Most of it can be avoided by playing smart and not on auto-pilot.

  • The one I use is called Custom Desktop Logo and it works for me. Haven't noticed any kind of performance hit or malware or anything with it. I've seen people also use CrossOver which is another free piece of software. And if you wanted recommendations on crosshair type I'd recommend one that lets you see the center of your screen (so not a dot crosshair) and as for colour, any bright and bold colour should be visible on every map except probably Ormond. Every other map in the game has really washed out and dull colours except Ormond that's white as a sheet and so hard to see anything in to begin with.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the point of the basement to be a deathtrap? Isn't it supposed to be a high risk high reward play to go down there? I agree that in general the basement is way easier to camp (especially if the killer has Insidious). but all the killers you mentioned (except Trapper and Huntress) pretty much guarantee a kill by camping anyways. And just like camping in any other area would do, the killer loses so much map pressure when they face camp or proxy camp a basement hook, which is practically giving survivors gens.

It's high risk but what's the reward? Boldness bloodpoints? There isn't one. And I did mention that camping means to rush gens but just because it makes the killer lose, doesn't make it magically ok or good for the game in any way. I can't think of a single good reason for the basement to still exist other than it being Trapper's way to win a match.

  • The basement is a terrible and outdated mechanic that only encourages proxy camping and basically confirms a survivor dies against some killers (Twins, Hag, Trapper, Huntress, Leatherface). Usually if Huntress or Leatherface are camping the basement there is no point whatsoever in going for a save, that survivor might as well be dead. Hag can do it without even being near the basement because lmao cool power design. And if it's a Trapper, 80% of the time that's his only win condition, and once someone's in the basement against Trapper you rush gens and get out or everyone's going in the basement and not getting back out. It's more evidence that Trapper needs some serious buffs.

So yeah the basement is dumb. The best thing they could do is to change it to a row of 4 unsabo-able hooks along the shack wall, opposite the window so it doesn't get in the way of killer powers.

  • Oddly enough I find SWF matches way more fun than solo ones. They're usually much more engaging and survivors're willing to go for more risky plays, which lets me also do the same and try fun things. I usually do against 4 solos. Everyone plays ultra-safe and splits up on gens and everyone gets out in 5 minutes. Basically if it's a SWF they're usually more altruisitic and I'm not punished as much in the early game if I screw up, but if I mess up against 4 good solo Q players at the beginning, I've already lost.

Plus dodging a lobby just because people are playing with their friends is kinda petty lmao. Unless for example you forgot to select a challenge or something (Because we still can't change challenges or look at the store in the pre-game lobby, a feature which would be greatly appreciated. Or just the ability to queue and look around in the menus until a match is found, it's 2021 every single multiplayer game has this feature except DbD)

  • You could try moving this to the feedback section. There's a higher chance to win the lottery 2 weeks in a row than for them to see this post, but it's worth a shot. I'd like these screams back too, they're so much better.

I understand the counter to it. I think most of us do, like you said. It still doesn't change the fact that you did so much for your team, and they leave you behind w/o a second thought. I've had players with BT leave me behind even though I got 2 gens, 2 hexes, unhooked safely x3. I respect the more riskier plays/players and a lot of survivors, once gates open, feel like thats it. If you don't make it, you don't make it. They don't even bother with trying to help you. And that. That right there, is a really bad feeling when you were the key to success and made it possible for them to leave. I stand with OP on this. The matchmaking really does need an overhaul. I want to play with people who don't waste time, don't play like cowards, don't get insta downed and hooked, etc. Its incredibly unrewarding knowing you did so much but in the end, it didn't even matter (LinkinPark pun :P).

Meh I suppose my views are different. The killer throwing the entire match to facecamp me after I spent the entire match getting chased and all the gens being done is rewarding enough for me because I find it hilarious and satisfying.

Yea I guess you're right. But still its just annoying my team didn't come back for me they just left me behind like I was a bad teammate or something.

They didn't think that, they knew you were being facecamped so they did gens and left, which is the counter to facecamping as everyone on here would tell you. And it's better to not risk giving the Spirit any more kills than she already didn't deserve.

  • It's a secondary objective, but it's once again so luck-based that it's either a mild annoyance or it's a free win for the killer. Until you cleanse ruin+undying, it's free pressure for high mobility killers.

So you search around for totems because your team isn't getting anything done. And after finally finding a hex totem on the other side of the continent you go to cleanse it but oh wait if the killer has mobility, is Doc or has infectious they'll get you off it before you have a chance to cleanse because that's fair. And even if you do manage to cleanse it WAIT A MINUTE you cleansed Ruin and not Undying, and now Ruin has been transferred somewhere else at complete random and you accomplished nothing all because of BS RNG and losing the 50/50. All while your teammates are getting slaughtered and no gens are being done.

It's kind of obvious why survivors hate it. More randomness and annoying mechanics in a game packed to the brim already with RNG and things to make you frustrated.

  • Anything that hinders vision and hearing, or removes every visual and audio cue at the push of a button is a big no-no for the game imo. Just look at Spirit. And Clown's gas can be super irritating. Not to mention corn being a nightmare to see through. (Before anyone says it, flashlights are different, they only hinder your vision for a few seconds, you can still easily track survivors via footsteps and their breathing and injured sounds)

I'm not sure about the 1st perk, that's just a weird effect. Like a reverse bloodwarden or something. Can still be countered by 99ing gates so it probably won't do anything.

The 2nd perk would be ridiculously overpowered. Anything that grants increased movement speed has to have MAJOR downsides to work, or only happens for a short time. An increase of just 6% would be absurdly strong on every killer, and the first 3 gens usually go quickly these days.

The 3rd perk is entirely based on random chance that's also completely out of the survivor's control which is another huge no-no for the game. We don't need any more randomness than we already have. Maybe if it did something else like "all gen repair skillchecks have a 50% chance to be 'old Ruin' skillchecks"? Or a small chance to be an overcharge skillcheck?

They're not taking a hit, they're preventing me from hooking another. All the example you cited are intended mechanics (and mind you survivor have perks with similar effects) that can be mastered over time. Body blocking is simply an abuse of the system, hence why you can report it.

You can hit survivors while you're carrying one you know...survivors can never completely block a killer from going anywhere or hooking because you lose collision when you hit a survivor. You used to be able to trap killers in very specific spots on maps like the swamp but that was years ago. If a survivor is body-blocking you while you're carrying a survivor to a hook, hit them immediately, don't try to move around them to hook them because you can't. They can only bodyblock once, then you lose collision and can hook the survivor you're carrying.

I don’t underestimate Demo at all, his shred is very good at loops and can be very strong if given the option, however his mobility can be countered by survivors cleansing his portals, his shred Doesn’t work at all loops or is difficult to get a option to use, and then of course his shred is straight up only useable at most loops with rat liver add on. Deathslinger I have where he is because he has a great chase power but he gets around the map very very slow, causing gens to fly and pop in his face.

If you place your portals correctly and hide them well, they're not gonna get cleansed. If you're putting them in the open, near gens and not behind objects and other walls that's not a good use of your portals and you're using them wrong.

And it's not hard to get a shred at almost every loop. You don't run them the same way you run loops as a normal M1 killer. You want to make them run in a straight line so you can get an easy shred, and there's very little survivors can do if you zone them properly with rat liver. And shack, which is considered to be the strongest generic structure in the game, is just a death zone against him. And rat liver is a brown add-on so it's not like you're gonna be running out of them, it's a really cheap add-on. I haven't used rat liver in a very long time and have no issues with shredding survivors at most loops.

I didn't said they were, I asked if they tried to be. Please don't try to put words in my mouth.

And they WERE trying to win, since they patched each others and actually tried to do gens. (Also I may had been wrong on mettle of man, it may have been borrowed time, unless they had both).

Now to answer your questions ; Killers probably don't like it because they try to play as a killer, not to do fortnite dances or to just mess around in a TF2 server. I don't think I mind it personally because free quadra-kill, but I can see why others may find that lame to do so.

Body-bloking as a killer seem like you don't understand what I'm referring to because how can a killer do it in the first place ? I mean that they try to prevent me from hooking another survivor by blocking the hook or my path just so we're clear.

Also, if I can ask my own question : who's Billy ?

Body-blocking like that is not toxic. I do know what you're referring to, and killers have other forms of body-blocking like blocking entrances and windows, trapping survivors in corners and blocking hook rescues so why is the survivor's version of body-blocking (Taking a hit to try and save a survivor from the killer's grasp and being a good teammate) considered them trying to be toxic? It's good survivor play if done right. Much like looping is a sign of a good survivor and not toxic. I've seen people say that a survivor running a killer well is toxic and I wish I was making that up. That word gets used too often to describe so many things in this game that aren't even remotely 'toxic'

  • People have already answered every question except the Demo one. Bronx has a good Demo guide. He's not exactly a difficult killer to play but he does require quite a bit of knowledge and perks that you won't yet have as a new player (map and tile knowledge, portal spots, zoning survivors, perks like corrupt to help you set up in the early game etc.)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crw2LcaGNFY

    For more generic guides, here:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8u0jRxN2kQ&t=2s https://youtu.be/0UoymuGcBzY

  • I agree with most of it, but it still hurts to see people underestimate Demo so much because they don't know just how good his shred is at loops. I don't agree with Deathslinger's placement either.

This would be my tier list, the boxes just mean all killers that I've grouped up in that box are as strong as each other and I can't be bothered ranking them individually because there are too many variables to consider.

    my-image (3)__01.png

Haven't updated it for the new patch but I'd put the Twins just below Billy.

  • Head on and mettle of man with flashlights? Sounds to me like they were just messing around and didn't care about actually winning. They just wanted to go for fun plays and they didn't care about throwing the match to do so. Which is something that killers get mad about for some reason. In what way is it toxic? They're feeding you a free win and trying to have fun in a role that .

Body blocking isn't toxic either, you do it all the time as killer if you're playing someone like Billy or Wraith, so why is it toxic if survivors do it?

  • Well you'll probably experience tbagging almost everyday and if you want to play killer, it would be a good idea to ignore it and not think about it as soon as possible or it's gonna get worse. It's a completely meaningless gesture that you shouldn't ever take personally yet I see so many people still do on this forum. All they're doing is pushing a button to taunt your in-game character, they don't care about or know you personally, and they'll forget about this match and move onto the next and you should do the same.

And if you want help learning the game...

    https://youtu.be/t8u0jRxN2kQ https://youtu.be/0UoymuGcBzY

And since you mentioned you wanted to play Spirit and Legion...

    https://youtu.be/PEqruUu8-a8 https://youtu.be/kyM_x6I9Ih8

There are probably some spirit guides out there but I'm not sure which ones are any good

  • Victor must have taken some lessons from Huntress before he and Charlotte became killers for the entity.

And the chances of any kind of collision box being fixed in DbD is lower than winning the lottery 2 weeks in a row so I wouldn't put money on this being changed anytime soon.

  • Yep, happens way too often. It rarely ever does anything in gameplay but it is very irritating because it happens so frequently. I've found that when it comes to DbD, it's all the small bugs and nuisances in this game that add up to make it so annoying and tiresome to play sometimes.

  • As someone else has said, survivors can't take 2 hits to body-block the killer directly under the hook because you lose collision and can hook them after you hit 1 survivor. And how is this trolling, entitled or toxic? It's being a good teammate if you can body-block the killer and save a survivor from a hook state. But it can also be free pressure for the killer, especially if they're running STBFL, sloppy or playing Oni (especially against Oni. You have no idea how good it feels to see multiple survivors coming to take hits when I'm carrying someone as Oni. The survivor might wiggle out but there is so much blood on the map that I'll get so many uses out of my power.

Also run mad grit if it's becoming this much of an issue lmao there is definitely counterplay to it.

But there is a reason for the aura read. Its ro monitor your dull totems as well. Since you need available dull totems in order to move the other hex totem too.

But the effect does WAY more than just give you tabs on where your totems are. You can get 6 seconds of aura-reading in some chases and it's a free Thrill of the Hunt on high mobility killers because it also shows auras around hex totems. If it was intended to monitor dull totems (which Thrill also does but so does Undying, who needs to run Thrill to defend totems when Undying does it all for you I guess), why doesn't it just show the auras of the dull totems when they're being worked on? Why does this perk have map-wide aura reading on top of the hex transfer? It's so overtuned

  • I wouldn't mind that. Would still be decent at tracking but it's no longer free wallhacks in a chase, or free totem defence on high mobility killers. Although I think Undying's current aura effect would be better on Hex: Retribution and it would be fine if Undying just had the hex "2nd chance" effect (Would be a really nice buff for Retribution).

    @Killing_Time said:

The perk is fine. It's basically useless on its own.

...obviously? The point of the perk isn't to run it on its own.

Nurse and Billy both and both got ruined... just look at the addons, they alone reveal the entire mess...

Billy is now somewhere between clown and trapper... Nobody plays him anymore so people still think he is viable because of his former past. He was once the most popular killer, now you even forget he exists. People that are rating him atm just dont play him enough. They tested him, think "well, it still works" and move on.

-He cant use his chainsaw in chases anymore which makes him a M1 Killer with good mobility for long distances...

-He sucks indoors... He is basically a Trapper without traps indoors.

-Its fun to cruise around on open maps. But his playground, wide open maps make him overheat now. When you found a survivor you cant use your chainsaw anymore with any strategic value. Its not like they dont loop you very tight anyway.

-He had very clean addons... bumper billy, stealth billy, cooldown billy etc...

    now we have...

..."when you look into a flashlight for 5 seconds after you got stunned by a pallet, your movement speed sligtly decreases by 5%, while your terroradius increases by 4.2%, in case a generator got repaired in the last 12 seconds"

    kind of addons...

Nurse is no fun to play. I think its probably easier for someone that never played her before to find the fun in playing her. When you played her before they messed her up you very likely simply dislike the entire killer now.

-She has an addon that gives her normal movement speed for trading her power completely. Nothing more to add here.

I don't like new Billy much either but man you're completely wrong. He's weaker that's for sure, but he is absolutely nowhere close to Trapper or Clown tier. I've been playing him and doing fine. Maveros and Battleguy still 4K almost every game. If you wanna say he's not top 5 anymore I'd agree, he was only top 5 because of crack and instasaw. Double engravings still makes him really strong, but is really punishing unless you're good at it (I never was, I suck so much with double engravings). Addonless now he's meh though, but with the brown addon that adds 20 extra overheat charges and the yellow add-on that increases the cooldown rate, he's not bad at all. The rest of his add-ons are either bad or gimmicky. Why are there so many add-ons that turn him into a really bad stealth killer? Makes no sense.

It’s funny. Going way back when they first announced the Freddy rework, one of the core reasons they were doing it was because they felt survivors didn’t understand how Freddy’s invisibility worked, even though HE DID in fact move grass and disturb crows as (what I thought) was a very fair cue that survivors needed to learn to watch out for.

Yet here we have spirit that gives survivors no visual cue whatsoever, and her audio cues leave a lot to be desired.

Yep, it's what made old Freddy so interesting and good Freddy players and survivors knew how he worked. Blows my mind that they still think Spirit's current design is ok when they said that about old Freddy, which is what I want Spirit to be similar to but we're still stuck with this blue abomination.

  • ...or just make the grass move while she's phasing...once she enters phase she completely disappears and the chase music stops until she reappears. You hear the vacuum sound and it gets louder and quieter based on how far she is away from you. As Spirit moves through grass you can see and hear it move. Decrease her movement speed while phasing but buff the duration and recharge rate.

That's how I'd change Spirit. You can still "stand still" to mindgame but you'd be using your power to do it. Or if you want to phase to a survivor you now have a choice. Do you take a shorter path to them but disturb the grass and show where you are, or do you walk around the grass to keep the survivor guessing but you risk taking too long to catch them etc. That's how I'd do it.

Plus seeing the corn move when she's phasing towards you at high speed would actually be quite terrifying to see.

  • Nah he's kinda boring, but not in a dumb way like other killers. He's just...."meh". You don't have any chase power to think about so chases against him are extremely basic after the first hit which he gets for free if he's in Frenzy. It's like Plague but there's never a threat of an actual power so it's really dull (You also don't get any visual satisfaction running Legion, they're just a bunch of dumb teenagers. At least Plague looks interesting, same with Myers).

And holding M1 to mend is the most mind-numbing thing to do in this game and a good Legion will make you do it a lot to stall the game and keep you annoyed.

  • Basically what other people said. Tinkerer is fine, it's Ruin and/or Undying that are the problems because all of them paired together on mobility killers or Freddy it's ######### stupid, especially Freddy

  • @QwQw said:

So from what I've seen, it appears that the most dropped killer is Billy. Perhaps Behavior will realize that the overheat mechanic is complete bs. Billy's add-on's needed to be nerfed, but not his base kit. Also why are his animations still so wonky?

Freddy also looks to be a commonly dropped killer. The biggest reason that I see for this is because he's boring to play as. I don't get this personally, but I understand it. Freddy could definitely use some things to spice his kit up.

BHVR realising they made a mistake? LMAO good one

  • @Swiftblade131 said:

I wouldn't say I dropped him, but I play wayyy less Hill Billy than I used to.

I don't care about his nerf, never really used addons, insisted the basekit remain the same, but we all know these DEVs. They just gotta change something.

I actually despise the sound he makes when he charges... Every... Single... Time...

It's sooo annoying and it sounds bad!

And I feel like his music could've been better.

BUT AGAIN THE DEVS DON'T LISTEN. They just want to do something to hush people up whether or not it's actually a good final product. But hey what's new?

I feel you. No matter how much I and other people talk about their unwarranted Billy changes on here they will never fix them and it really sucks. Couldn't care less about the overheat anymore and his FOV and animations I don't mind too much with stretched res or shadowborn, but Jesus Christ there was absolutely no reason to make him so annoying and have all his sounds pierce your ears (Not just his stupid roar, but the chainsaw is also annoyingly loud and screechy, and when using engravings it literally doesn't even make a sound when you're chainsawing)

No it wasn't effective it was also a four man escape. This is me trying to show Ruin+Undying isn't as busted as people make it out to be .

How busted the perk combo is almost entirely up to RNG. If it doesn't stay up for long, it's almost useless, but if it does it's so much free pressure and a free win for the killer. And on high mobility killers it doesn't even matter if survivors find totems quickly because uh-oh, their aura is revealed and killers can shoot over to the totem and get you off it, no Thrill required.

And when you throw on tinkerer you're just waiting for a notification then dropping everything you're currently doing and making a beeline to the gen without even thinking about it. That's what I hate about this dumb combo, it's too RNG heavy in a game with so much randomness already.

    The Basement.

The Basement needs to be removed or reworked. The only thing it is good for is camping.

It used to be that hooks could be destroyed permanently, and Basement was needed as a backup to make sure you never got into a situation where it was impossible to hook a survivor. That era has passed and its long past time for Basement to be changed as well.

Yep, I agree that the basement is a garbage feature. It's sole purpose it to literally promote camping and ensure that whoever goes down there is dead. And against Trapper, Huntress, Leatherface, Twins and Hag, the people who are hooked down there may as well already be dead because you're not saving anyone from the basement against these killers unless they let you.

  • Look at what good survivors do like ayrun and ussylis, and run DS and/or Unbreakable (maybe not Unbreakable because you're not gonna get slugged at rank 15 but once you're slightly higher in rank it becomes useful)

And play and watch streamers play killer too, that'll probably help you more than anything else.

  • I still miss those animations and FOV, and the old chainsaw sound and Billy not doing a stupid ######### roar every time I saw. I'm so sick of hearing it, I'll sometimes just play without sound now and listen to music because it's so awful.

I don't miss cooldown or charge add-ons though, those can stay dead.

  • Why would you ever want killers with a low skill cap? That's how you get really boring killers. I'd much rather have a killer that I constantly need to practice and have something to learn, than a killer that I know everything about in 30 minutes of gameplay. That's why I like Blight so much.

  • Why do you propose a change to his default charge time as compensation for changing 1 overpowered add-on? That makes no sense lmao just remove the add-on, Oni's power doesn't need a buff or a nerf it's fine the way it is (except the camera bugs which have been in the game for..who knows how long now and will probably never get fixed.)

  • If you're not used to using your ears as much as your eyes when playing killer then you will probably be a bit lost when you try out Spirit tbf. But locating survivors is something you should be practicing with every other killer. That's why she's so easy to play: you're not doing anything special with her, you're just listening out for survivors (although tbf sounds can be awful in this game so you're at the mercy of the game functioning correctly half the time).

You'll get used to it eventually, you just have to be more confident in locating survivors via sound, something you're practicing all the time. Having a general idea of where a survivor is running to also helps, which is something else you do with every killer.

you may have a point if the game was F2P, But this is full stop the worst battlepass I have seen in a game and with good will in short supply it might be time to be a little bit more generous, but hey knowing you all you'll do is defend the company when they probably introduce loot boxes (It has leaked). You'll still defend a game that cost over a hundred dollars to get complete and has every F2P scheme know to man. Sad.

"Knowing me"? Ok you very clearly don't know me, I despise the battle pass and all their garbage monetisation practices in this game. I have literally said this game should be f2p at this point. At what point did I ever defend BHVR's battle pass? I literally said it was a scummy design.

Once again, people assuming so much on the forums without reading comments thoroughly enough.

Doc's power can help tremendously at loops. He doesn't play the same way as standard M1 Killers do.

He does play the same though. Unless you're using his dumbest add-ons and range, you can't use your power at most loops or it's usually slower than chasing normally.

That would be way too generous, if they did offer any it would be a really tiny amount. Otherwise in just two seasons someone would have enough to get the paid pass. I don't see it ever happening, instead I think they need to offer blood point bonuses, items, add-ons, they need to fill up the track with more items. Way too many tiers are empty.

It's designed to make it feel like you're missing out on the premium track so you spend the money, more of those spaces filled would completely defeat that purpose. Why do you think it also tells you that you've unlocked a new tier even though there was nothing on it?

  • How did she crouch chase you and also manage to get in front of you and block the jigsaw boxes? She moves at like 92% speed while crouched. And if she stood up that means she would've initiated a chase and your trap would've been paused for a while. So you were probably getting chased and cheesed like this for a VERY long time. While it is a really lame and annoying way to play Pig, you probably bought enough time for your teammates to do the gens 10 times over.

And now everyone will pretend like this is the norm and they ALWAYS go against these kind of teams. This is a tournament squad going for a record (at least Deebee is a tournament player, if I remember correctly). The chances that you run into them again with the same loadout are around 0. Chances to find a team like that with that loadout are not that much bigger.

But can we post the records of Kills and pretend those are happening all the time please? I mean, Tofu had a Billy-game where he got a 4K in 2 minutes. Can we pretend that this is happening on a regular basis?

But as I know this forum, only one side winning super-fast is a problem and should not be possible, but if the Killer does that, this is fine. :>

B-b-but I can now use this video to mock survivors with alternating caps sentences and use it as my one and only example of the game being broken and killers being oppressed and underpowered :( because this video exists ruin+undying is fine :'(

  • Even funnier that the most broken add-on combo is stronger than the most broken perk (which isn't even DS, object and UB are more "broken" than DS will ever be, and those 2 perks aren't even broken to begin with)

  • It's almost like DS won't help you much when you're going against the most broken add-on combo in the game or something.

They actually nerfed him last year. Now it's much harder to facecamp with him since you can't 99% your chainsaw permanently anymore. So now his facecamping can be countered the same way as facecamping from any other killer. And he has nothing to help him tunneling, because nobody can counter DS in this game.

Blight, Nurse, Deathslinger and Pyramid Head all couldn't care less about DS and they'll usually just eat it and down the survivor in the next 10 seconds. Or in PH's case, send them to a cage.

And you still can't rescue a survivor from a facecamping Leatherface unless the killer messes up really hard.

Survivors can counter Ruin/Undying if they too replace their precious perk slot for an anti totem build.

The real reason survivors complain is because they refuse to give up a perk slot for something they consider “unfun”

I mean do you find holding m1 fun? Nobody else does, and that's all you're doing to counter Ruin+Undying. How are survivor complaints about this perk combo not justified? It's literally just running around a map holding M1, you don't even have skillchecks on totems. If you have Detective's hunch/ a map etc you're running up to a small pink aura then holding M1, what part of that is fun to you?

  • Not only that, the post about those changes was fake and everyone thought it was real lmao. Gotta love it.

  • Slugging shouldn't be that viable anymore, but people still aren't running WGLF and soul guard despite how busted they are in countering slugging.

  • Might be placebo, but against killers like Spirit, Deathslinger, Freddy and Pyramid Head, 4 competent survivors will know not to engage in a chase and just rush gens as fast as they possibly can because they don't want to be in a match with these killers any longer than they have to be. And since these killers are pretty popular right now gens are probably gonna be going faster. There's no fun or point in getting chased by these killers so it's best to just do gens and get out with some BPs.
