I've been using it since it got changed and been activating and using it consistantly 1 to 2 times against killers that are bodyblockable.
I've also been escaping way more often as well.
In this new meta i have come to the conclusion that you can't outrace the killer anymore in objectives. If they tunnel and make the game a 3v1 asap you lose. Atleast in SoloQ
I have found it to be way more effective to have 2 survivors preventing the killer from turning the game in a 1v3 and 2 on gens then 3 survivors on gens and 1 dying rapidly.
Atleast in my games the moment it becomes a 1v3 the killer wins unless the gens are done at the same time.
Maybe that changes if you get teammates that know how to run a killer but in my experience it's almost single handely saving my soloq against any killer that isn't nurse or bubba
Also pair it with unbreakable and you have a guarentied wiggle off after 1 bodyblock+heal. I can just sit by the hook and take 3 hits. Usually the survivor gets off by the second but even if they don't the killer now has to choose between continueing to tunnel and giving me a free unbreakable pickup or hooking me and thus spreading hooks.
Are you just theorycrafting or have you actually tried making MoM work? In my experience not only has it been buffed but it has been buffed significantly
I'm going to try it and find out

MoM wasen't a nerf
How more concistant it is makes up for the effect being slightly weaker. Been able to activate and severely hamper to outright stop tunneling attemps of pretty much every killer that is bodyblockable i faced.
The only thing holding it back now is the bug.
I'm going to keep dying on this hill. People who think that bodyblock, heal, bodyblock, heal, bodyblock for 1 extra healthstate is better then bodyblock, heal for a double bodyblock are out of their mind
What you described is a nerf my friend, unless you're running a SWF this perk is a gimmick that wastes your own time more than it wastes the Killer's and even in a SWF there's still better perks to use instead in terms of consistency on a match to match basis
Sure, the requirements in order to activate MoM are now lower which leads for more streamlined usage however the trade-off is you lose Endurance the second you do anything of value which was the only unique thing about MoM. The time you spend soaking those 2 protection hits just to get the reworked Endurance is better spent on gens or resetting with nearby teammates which now deactivates the perk
In this new meta most average Survivors have less room for downtime than ever and MoM now encourages people to prolong the gens even more than usual just to get value out of the Walmart version of Off the Record and Dead Hard. I can use DH as long as I get M1d (every single game) and as many times as I can recover from Exhausted. I get OTR guaranteed every time I get off a hook AND I can stack that with DS if I really wanted to dissuade a hard-tunnel
How many protection hits are you going to get in a single match on average? Now ask yourself how many times the Killer is naturally going to be in a position for you to body-block them without wasting too much of your time following behind them waiting. Now ask yourself how many gens you think your soloq teammates will finish while you're interrupting the Killer's chase and then running away to go reset yourself. Finally, ask yourself how many times the Killer is going to either commit to you when they see your MoM aura from far away or stop tunneling their original target just to focus on the guy that's now mending from Endurance because he activated MoM.
MoM now forces you to play offensively 100% of the time which is not a good strategy to use every match. You're literally giving the Killer free built in slowdown by artificially extending his chase AND forcing yourself to mend and heal afterwards which now means 2 people aren't on gens instead of 1. Sure, it will lead to clutch plays that look cool in video clips but in reality its going to be a gimmick that only works if the player doesn't know what you're trying to do. Yes, when the stars align it can single-handedly save the game, but is it really worth it? When you have teammates aware of you having it then sure, it can be strong. SoloQ? Hahaha
-
@Chaos999 said:
I don't think they ever aimed at making slowdown disappear entirely, and a lot of people don't "like" to deal with those perks/killer combinations simply because they are effective. That's hardly a reason to remove this synergies. PR and DMS was never such a powerful combo, mostly a noob stomper, and it remains weaker than it was before since it no longer provides unconditional info. If they let go before the hook and continue afterwards, you won't get value of DMS, unless maybe you are playing artist, and even then, you gotta guess where are the survivors.
As far as thanatophobia and legion and plague go, again, mostly effective against total beginners. It's not that hard to keep someone healed for the majority of the trial even against legion and honestly, anyone who plays plague understands that staying injured is entirely a survivor choice, and often not a very good one anyway. Her pools already offer almost on demand healing and there are ways around her power.
So from a universally useful meta perk on nearly every killer, it went to a gimmicky perk that is entirely killer dependant and which a very large portion of its effect can now be fought back and denied by survivors, if they so choose to.
I do agree MoM change was rather unwarranted, but otherwise I simply don't see the problem with these changes. Only my opinion of course.
Its not that I see a problem in terms of strength/weakness with either of the 3 changes, For me its about the fact that they JUST said they weren't going to make any fast decisions a few days ago and now here we are days later watching them do the exact opposite
Yeah, Thana and the Pain Res/DMS can be bot stompers which aids my point about how they made a knee-jerk reaction to people unhappy instead of waiting the months/years they take when its the opposite direction. People were pointing out how busted CoH was for how long again? Since the first day of PTB and they were all told to get good and apply pressure regardless for many months before they even acknowledged the issue. Thana Legion is stomping some defaults with 400 hours for almost 3 weeks? Yeah we can't have that, lets make the perk a meme and leave it viable on the 1 Killer people complain the most about using it. That makes no sense lmao
I'm simply confused on their logic because those players are still going to get stomped by it regardless so it doesn't really make a difference to them, just gutted it for everybody else instead. If they're going to nerf slowdown perks then you might as well keep all of them nerfed and provide better alternatives in other aspects, not swap one out for another one just to repeat the cycle in another month or two when they start complaining about Pain Res again. This is why I never run slowdown anymore anyway, I run chase/info perks and live with the results because its more entertaining, more skillful and leaves less room for complaints

Wait, you believed them? Ha ha ha... Well, yes, you are correct. They might not have been entirely honest.

Maps cause so many issues and yet they get focused on the least, meanwhile most of the band-aids BHVR has thrown on in the form of perks, addons and base mechanics comes from the maps being busted in the first place. Their tile allocation system is absolutely chaotic and can make it a nightmare for both sides, but obviously more often it’s way worse for Killers for reasons you already listed
There are a few RNG combos on a handful of maps that absolutely screw Survivors (Coldwind having 1-4 hooks less than 10 feet apart from each-other is a perfect example) and then the rest of the maps/tiles are completely catered to them. I don’t even see how any of that is debatable, yet there’s still a decent population of delusional DBD players that think everything is strictly user-skill based and that RNG has no impact on the outcomes. I'm pretty sure the person above me is one of em lmao... I’ve been saying the same crap about this topic for years and mayyybe you’ll agree with this:
I don’t expect to win every match on either side nor do I think I’m perfect...BUT the only thing I expect out of DBD is for me to have an honest chance of winning every single match even if I ultimately lose it. If I'm gonna lose to a Team/Killer then please let me lose because I got out-skilled or because me or my teammates made obvious mistakes that would've otherwise given me the win, not because the map/tiles are blatantly catered to the other side. As a competitor it can sting losing a match to players you know you're better than simply because RNG...
When I play for hooks with my Ghostface/Slinger/Trickster instead of hard-tunneling/facecamping on Badham and then 1-2k I don't see them out-mindgaming me or being consistently above my level individually, I just observe that the majority of them are getting boosted by Springwood having 5 safe pallets lined up in between Shack and the Houses of Pain not to mention them spawning directly next to gens ridiculously far away on opposite corners
When I've lost to hard-tunneling Bubbas/Nurses/Nemis on OG Shelter Woods after I won multiple mindgames and escaped from tiles that other players would've gone down super fast at it doesn't really feel like I'm being out-skilled... It feels like I'm being screwed by default because the map has historically been a glorified deadzone with a handful of safe pallets that my teammates could've wasted before I even took aggro
In both cases mistakes can definitely be made sometimes which contributes to losses, but my point is even in a majority of the matches where you play absolutely flawless you're probably still at a clear disadvantage somewhere thanks to RNG out of your control and it could feel stressful even if you win. I think every single experienced DBD vet that plays high MMR Survivor/Killer knows the feeling they get when they load into a match with a specific Killer/Build/Map and immediately think “Yeah this is cringe". I also don’t think enough people play at a decent MMR on Killer (MMR is not working properly at the moment IMO) to really understand how the higher end lobbies really haven’t changed much in terms of the cycle of cheesing on both sides. Nurse only needs an addon pass and a slight tweak to her second blinks counting as M1, NOT a full-blown Hillbilly-esque nerf (Sorry Billy enjoyer, I had to throw that in please don’t hate me)
-
My advice is to just play the game even more as Blight until you get burnt out honestly and let go of your sympathy for other players if you truly wanna maintain your place in the sweat brackets. It sounds stupid but that's literally the only thing that will make any difference to be real with you with the way balance and meta operates at the high end. You can watch all the Blight tech guides or Dredge VODs you want, it won't matter when you actually have to go practice it in live pub matches against skilled pubstars that wanna end the match in 6 minutes so If you really care that much about improving beyond your plateau try to join one of the Discords where people host scrims. There's a lot of people in those from the DBD Discord or the tournament scene and they definitely all know how to use every Killer and are extremely smart loopers. It can give you the platform to practice without pressure while also not compromising the level of comp you're going against. Best of both worlds
Idc what any pubstar or comp player tells you either, you WILL eventually hit multiple ceilings with different Killers where there is nothing else you can possibly learn or "git gud" at and the only way you will progress at those plateaus is to watch your own gameplay, analyze yourself in real time (which could be distracting for some people) or just have someone else watch and analyze for you. There's people out here that are gonna lie to you and tell you that even after 10,000 matches played with one Killer there's still some hidden tech you haven't learned yet with them which is fake news. If you listen to certain people they'll try to gaslight you into thinking you haven't already mastered a specific character and they'll have you spinning on the hamster wheel chasing a carrot that doesn't exist
After you've learned every possible mindgame for every tile, every tech/flick and played/won hundreds of matches with one Killer the only thing that can possibly improve your win rate with them would be to minimize the mistakes you see yourself making when you watch your own matches. The game isn't that deep, at a certain point there's no more hidden mindgames/strats that will help you in the top bracket(s).. its just a matter of execution and RNG
One more basic but useful piece of advice I can give without writing an essay on slippery Rush tiles you can use or writing way more paragraphs is to not focus so much on "getting good" when you're trying to compete with the sweats. Ironically, higher level Survivors get thrown off by baby-average Killers at times because instead of going for fancy skillshots and veteran mindgames like they're (Survivors) predicting, they'll (Baby/Average Killers) make unpredictable/stupid plays instead which actually works out for them. Sometimes the moonwalk at a jungle gym is a waste of time against somebody with a large FOV, waiting for your stain on the edge of one side panning their camera. You'd actually be better off just chasing regular like a bot and using that extra 1-2 seconds to force the vaults and get rid of pallets faster against players at that level, unless you're confident that they'll eventually make mistakes
You can't commit too hard to either playstyle, the best way would be to mix and match according to the lobby you're in and be unpredictable since you should be under the assumption they're making callouts (Don't overdo the assumptions though). Try to challenge yourself to change your style in real-time according to the map and team instead of having a specific gimmick you commit to like some people get caught up on. If a mindgame doesn't work once on a Survivor then try the same move on them one more time max. They'll more than likely predict that you're going to do the opposite instead of expecting you to do the same thing that didn't work the first time. If it still doesn't change after the second time though then just drop the mindgames on them all together and just play regularly. Start focusing on different preferences/strats for different maps as opposed to just the Killer itself too

And no one takes you serious when you write a post defending the most lackluster, and indifferent development team in modern gaming. You're literally simping for a team that doesn't give af about you. Also a blight main, who'd have thunk attacking a survivor would be the most sweaty af killer main. Jfl 🤣😭
Simping? You sound delusional my guy 🤣 I have regularly criticized BHVR and debated with the most active/fanboying users on this entire forum, tf are you talking about? Giving credit when it’s due is clearly different than simping or hating, it’s pretty easy to tell which one you do though
Blight main? I’m a Survivor main that plays a lot of of both and Ghostface is my main, not Blight. If you’re gonna run your mouth get your facts together, but then again none of your posts have anything more than incorrect talking points so I can’t expect much
You gotta do some research and get better at the game if you made an account on the forums this week just to cry about the update that has a LOT of good feedback. Quit if the game is too hard for you

Literally going against Meta 4 man SWFs almost every other match and it's still a joke. MMR ain't helping or hurting here bro. 🤣😭
I can't take you serious when you literally just joined the forums last week with only 3 posts (Conveniently both complaining about how Killer is easy and how there's no counterplay for Blight, the Killer I dominate regularly). You're definitely not a salty Survivor main that came to cry after the update or anything 😂

@tescomealdeal said:
Of course you think like this, because you play one of the weakest killers in the game with an RNG power.
Play a mid to high tier killer with a meta build (gen slow down) and it's blatantly obvious how killer-sided this game has become. In fact, tunnel or camp every hook and you'll win 9/10 of your games. The only thing that can stand a chance against any killer with a meta build now is a 4-man SWF with comms, solo queue is basically a loss every time unless the killer is nice or awful.
Nothing you wrote explains anything that wasn’t already the case before the update hit lmao
Higher tier characters poop on boosted kids that can’t function in a solo environment without 15 Discord callouts and abusable meta perks and good solos or SWFs can outplay anybody. SoloQ can be hard because of teammates, not because of Killers being OP. In fact, the majority of SoloQ lobbies fail because teammates act as Killers more than the Killers themselves
Notice how most of the people speaking nonsense have 0-15 posts and they’re all from crying this past week about how their escape rate isn’t inflated anymore

Survivor main who just started playing killer because of the tragedy that is 6.1.0. Literally 4k with trickster almost every match because its on faceroll mode at this point.
Of course you think Killer is faceroll, you are at the complete bottom of the food chain going against Survivors that don't even know how to play the game lol. Use Trickster in non-broken high MMR lobbies for a few months and see how that confidence works out for you

But you don't always get good teammates thought I will dodge lobbies usually now if survivors have below 6 prestigated character. It's sucide usually playing with survivors who has their character on 0 or 1. But my games killers has focused camping 3 gen are and without communucation we have unfortunately lost as it's much stronger than before. Even when I alone looped killer 4 gens as first chase. But then teammates went down in less than 10s...
"the difficulty of a Survivor match has more to do with the skill of your teammates than the skill of the Killer. A Killer can be better than someone 1v1 and still lose 1v4"
Okay exactly lol thank you for proving my point. Clearly if you're able to loop a Killer for 4 gens they're not very experienced OR their mission is to tunnel you out for whatever reason so the only way to possibly lose that game is if your teammates aren't doing generators and taking aggro for you so you can heal then do the gens yourself. That's not a "Killer is too easy" problem, that's a "My team is dogwater and doesn't help me put pressure" problem

I really wish Killer mains stopped being so disingenuous. Yes, SWFs can still absolutely wreck killers that aren't very good and sweaty Nurses and Blights running the most busted and OP addons and perks, but playing killer against SoloQ is literally baby mode. If you can't win after the latest patch, I'm afraid that's a skill issue. Unless you were sent to a horrible map and faced 4 toolboxes.
I really wish biased people that aren't very good at both sides stopped being so disingenuous. Yes, Killers can absolutely wreck survivors that bring low-synergy builds and don't function at a high level in SoloQ without Discord or teammates to carry them (Just like they did before the update), but being good and getting paired with decent teammates is still literally easy mode (The way its always been). If you can't escape in SoloQ or SWF after the latest patch, I'm afraid that's a skill issue from you or your teammates, unless you had an early DC or suicide

@Mediva said:
Can all the killer mains in this thread pls queue for survivor? play 3 games and then we will talk again. Ez to say survivors are overreacting when you dont play that side. It is very bad right now. Experience it, before saying something you dont even play
The first 2 are from the other night's stream against sweaty tunneling Blights (A Killer people claim has little counter-play after this update) and the 3rd pic is from 5 minutes before posting this comment, Its the first match of the day so far. I play aggressive and take chases using the new Dead Hard correctly. Survivor isn't hard if you're good and your teammates play decent
The difficulty of Killer matches depends on the skill of the Survivors and the difficulty of a Survivor match has more to do with the skill of your teammates than the skill of the Killer. A Killer can be better than someone 1v1 and still lose 1v4, so if you're one of those people that thinks Killer is super easy its probably a projection of how easy you or your teammates are to deal with
Now I challenge you or any other Survivor mains that don't play high-MMR Killer to win against 3 teams like this and then come explain to the rest of the forums how easy it is

I'm getting tired to answer same question to people that have strength to read only title.
As I said, ok, I'm bad, I have no problem accepting that. But no one answered this: what with other hundreds of people I'm matched with? Are they all bad too?
Most of them are, yes. If your teammates are never able to do all 5 generators for 1 match then that is a skill issue on either their part or your part or they're matching you with the best Killers in the world every game which I highly doubt. There's no way you're able to loop for extended times on these supposed weaker killers but then still die all 28 matches in a row. I've played plenty of SoloQ matches since the update and even the ones I win I can usually identify one weak-link that almost threw the match for the entire team. The matches lost are more because of teammates suiciding, playing extremely bad and making dumb decisions that cause a snowball effect more than the killers being invincible
Don't underestimate how many underperforming players there are out here
-
Respectfully, Skill issue. No good players are losing 28 straight matches after this update, SoloQ or not

You sure about that? I'm more than confident that the majority of players on both sides already recognize almost all the totem spawns on every map with odd exceptions like Swamp/Garden of Joy/Lerys
There's also Maps, Small Game, Counterforce & Detective's Hunch

Yep. It's absolutely out of ######### control and people I know have stopped playing one by one because of it and i'm left solo queue'ing. And if they don't do something about it Killer queue's can just keep going up but Survivors will leave. Then we'll see what happens.
But hey. Killers (that dont' know how to pressure otherwise) will always make up some excuse. Like earlier today I played against a Bubba who hooked in Basement. Camped shack HARD. He wouldnt' chase anybody. So I started doing a gen right next to him. Ran me off, would go back and do the gen. I knew what he was doing. So I kept doing gens. The other randoms kept going in and trying to save. Which is stupid. I stuck to gens. Did 4 on my own. Then got hatch while he ran at me. He flamed e afterwards saying that I "Gen Rushed" and was a ######### teammates because I didn't just throw myself at the basement hook and was pissed I got hatch lmfao
Yes. You heard that right. I "Gen Rushed" him because he was camping basement hook.
I don't know what fairytale world you live in but this will never happen in DBD. The majority of this community and its content is for/by Survivor players, for every one of your friends that quit there is 100 more that will take the spot. Killer ques will never be an issue except at off-peak hours very very rarely. Killers are the ones who were quitting en masse which is why there's an update mainly catered to Killers coming out in a few days. Its the equivalent of somebody threatening to leave California as if they're not already massively overcrowded in the first place lol

Maybe you didn't even read what you linked. The person who made that post about the "tournament" also said nurse is OP. So...ok.
The "buff solos to SWF and low tier killers to nurse level" is a terrible, terrible idea, I don't know why it gains any traction here. A game where each side is OP is not fun.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3063676#Comment_3063676
I have linked my twitch account multiple times here. It is always greeted the same way. The nurse players realize I am much more experienced than them and suddenly change the topic. The only time I have seen nurse gameplay from one of the nurse main defenders it was a disaster, a player who could barely move their camera to look behind them, and yet they still want to give much more experienced players advice on how to play well.
I never ever said that only good players play on the Korean server. Why must you twist my words to feel like you are making a point? Doesn't that mean your reasoning is super weak..?
The last three paragraphs are all nonsense, so I won't speak to them, but you seem to have read my prior comments. When have I ever said her basekit, the way she blinks should be nerfed?
I believe that:
Map addons need to be disabled for both sides. Too often map offerings are used by both sides to tilt the game way in their favor.
Many maps need to be shrunk
Blight's several busted addons need a rework
Nurse's busted addons need a huge nerf. Her attacks should not trigger perks. If this is not enough of a nerf, after some testing, she shouldn't have her power at the very start of a match, like dredge. Maybe give her 4.4 speed in that time.
SWF should be shown as a group in the lobby for the killer
Healthy grabs on unhooks should be removed from the game. This only promotes skilless face camping
While still keeping their randomness, all maps need to have their resources better situated. Sometimes the same map can be super killer sided, sometimes super survivor sided, just based on how things spawn and connect to each other.
Survivor perks should not be stackable.
The only one of my ideas that gets any backlash is the nurse one. The only possible reasoning is that these nurse mains don’t want to lose their busted toy. Too many of you don't realize how horrid playing as solo queue and a low tier killer on a strong survivor map is.
I have been consistent in always saying the same opinions as above.
"I'm not gonna bother reading because I have no counter-argument to all the facts you're spitting."
There, I summarized your garbage response for you. Also, nobody twisted your words, maybe you should reread before victimizing yourself. I never said that you said good players ONLY exist on Korean servers. Nurse is not OP, she has strong addons. This is very basic and easy to comprehend for 'experienced' players. I'm not reading anything else you write
-
@Sumnox said:
Nurse won't be touched because it's the go-to crutch for killers who need their ego stroked. They like to think they're good because "Nurse is difficult" (she isn't) and "she requires a lot of skill to win" (she doesn't). If being as broken and ridiculous as she is you already have people dedicated to professionally whine 24-7 on this forum for a living, imagine if she was actually a fair and balanced killer.
That's a long way of saying you're dogwater at the game. People like you should be required to link your gameplay when making such ridiculous statements. Provide evidence or at least logic to explain your stance, not random crying

The fact that BHVR blatantly misled people about MMR in the two years leading up to its official rework and then it somehow got swept under the rug extremely fast... It was proven by both data-miners and the Devs themselves that its the same exact MMR system that they scrapped years ago aka the whole thing was a flop. According to them, they scrapped the old one specifically because it only focused on escapes and kills and they felt that it wasn't doing enough, but now here we are in 2022 where they went live on Twitch bragging about how the current system only tracks escapes and kills. Remember guys, its like Hockey....
They probably saw messiness in their spaghetti code and said yeah, screw delivering the revamped system we've been advertising lol just reskin the one we tossed away and they'll never notice. I'll delete my forum account right now if a Mod or Dev comes here and says they can't possibly pull an archived thread out from 2021 where either Peanits or another dev replied to people's MMR posts saying something along the lines of
"We understand the frustration, but please be patient with us. The reason we haven't added MMR yet or formally addressed it is because we're being extra cautious about not making mistakes we made with the last version(s) we attempted. The one we scrapped after testing it for select weekends focused on escapes and kills and we felt that it wasn't producing very good matchmaking results. We're working on something more complex than that and it will make more sense when we release the official announcements. Stay tuned!"
It wouldn't have been an issue if they were just transparent, but they handled it very poorly and somehow all it takes is a few meh licensed chapters with some new Bikini cosmetics to make everybody forget. I would never accuse a Mod/Dev or namedrop anybody specific that's associated with BHVR/DBD if there wasn't actual evidence of it. This is a legitimate thing that happened and I'm struggling to find that post now. I'm sure it was deleted or archived

Some people want a balanced game for both sides. Sadly too many people would rather keep the roles they only play (nurse, SWF) as much more powerful than everything else.
Based off all of your prior comments it seems like you're just projecting and exposing yourself as somebody that also falls in that category. I don't see you doing much except being a hypocrite on this topic. You talk about how people want to keep their side more powerful but your only talking point is "She's OP because we said she is. You're lying about people not knowing how to play against her. Korean Servers. Its mostly good players that are complaining. Korean Servers."
Why don't you link some gameplay? I have linkable Survivor gameplay to dig up in the vault against good Nurses and I'm sure others do too. Nothing about Nurse's basekit is OP, she just has a handful of oppressive addons and why do you think those are even popular in the first place? Maybe its because 95% of the other ones suck and provide no value so there's no real incentive for the best players not to use them. They're literal memes that gimp you in exchange for more bloodpoints or just don't have a useful side effect in this version of the game. All they need to do is give a complete addon rework and she's good to go. They could even consider her hits as an M2 and she'd still be fine
Pallets and flashlights still work against her, breaking LoS is common knowledge at this point and still extremely viable, mindgaming a mindgame works all the time as no player in the world is going to land 100% of their blinks in every match, playing stealthy works against her too
People will tell a Killer to 'get better' or 'stop whining' about Survivors that go out of their way to stealth more than they take chases but now the same people are upset that there's still a character that makes it a bad idea for them to constantly do the opposite. Stop treating Nurse like the weaker Killers on the roster and I guarantee you will die less regardless of if she's good or not. Part of being at the skill ceiling as Survivor is knowing that you can't just play aggressive 100% of the time and loop/gen-jockey your way out of every scenario. This is yet again a prime example of how people are upset that a Killer has a kit that dissuades people from mindlessly playing aggressive or trying to force a chase at their leisure
There's a huge difference between 'This Killer is overpowered because its physically impossible to win against her' and 'This Killer is strong because she doesn't allow Survivors to play the same style that they enjoy the most'. Its not impossible to win against her even with her strongest addons but even if they do get changed (which they should) how is her basekit OP? Hint: It's not. Link your gameplay where you make all the correct decisions for an entire match and still died to a good Nurse. You won't because there's always multiple choices in a game that could've been better and this goes for both Killers and Survivors

Disagree. Map offerings are not always exclusively used to bully the killer. Sometimes you're just sick of getting the same map.
"This would mean map offerings 'tremendously' increase the chance of NOT going to a specific map instead of people handpicking maps that synergize with their SWF/Killer + Perks & Addons"
Problem solved, no excuses
-
Working as intended - Patrick and Cote somewhere
-
I know I'm not the only one who's said this for the past couple of years but map offerings need to be either removed entirely from the game or inverted for both sides
For those that don't understand, this would mean that map offerings 'tremendously' increase the chance of NOT going to a specific map instead of people handpicking maps that synergize with their SWF/Killer + Perks & Addons. Its really annoying when you spot an obvious SWF in the pregame lobby and then you see multiple Ormond offerings as a weak M1 killer or you're playing SoloQ and get bent fast because a Killer picked an oppressive build on Midwich and your gigabrain teammates pre-dropped all of the good pallets you can possibly use in the very first chase leaving you with nothing when its your turn. A lot of those lobbies feel like you got outplayed by the game more than the other players in your lobby
That's the only fair compromise I've thought of but I still prefer that they get taken entirely out of the game and BHVR finds a way to change their RNG system for maps. I played on Coldwind Farm 4 straight matches last night without a single map offering played and then Macmilan 3 times in a row right after that (1 was an offering). There's no way that people should be going to the same 1-2 maps out of all the ones we have, its pretty embarrassing considering theres not that many unique maps to begin with
-
I was already laughing at the flawed logic you used from the very first sentence but I completely stopped reading when I saw you cite Otz' AFK/Perkless experiment as some sort of evidence when the man himself specifically said not to use the experiment to "prove" or justify anything
Just another "Nurse is OP, I don't know why but she is and I have no valid arguments to make" thread. Should they change the range or recharge addons? Sure but she's still a fair killer that's just the most recent victim of the "Nerf whatever gives me the hardest time" mentality. I'm 100% positive that the bulk of people complaining about current Nurse never played against the original Nurse before or even if they have just aren't very good against her. You don't need to be a .00001% comp player to beat the vast majority of Nurses you come across
The irony of saying "Nurse should be nerfed, all the excuses are appliable only against 4 man swf, the 6% of the playerbase, and even this playerbase we can divide by half, because most of the players are casuals, and matchmaking is bad so they can get to high ranks somehow, also yes, best 4 man comp squad (0.001% of playerbase) can win best nurse, but you are talking about people that training 4+ hrs a day only how to play against nurse, you can't expect it from every player"
While basing your entire logic on Nurse around the small % of players that are gods with her. If anybody is making excuses here, its clear who it is

This is actually a really good breakdown of why players don't magically get better in a SWF, so I don't think this is having the effect that you think it is.
To start, these are not the callouts of a less-skilled player. These are the callouts of players who already know what they're doing and would be making good decisions whether they were on call or not. Nobody will deny that it allows these players to be more effective and coordinated, but players do not get better when they're put on comms. If a player isn't good, they aren't going to make these callouts, nor would they know what to do with them if someone else did; they just don't have the skill and knowledge of the game to actually capitalise on the information they have access to.
But even if you disagree with that sentiment, the bigger flaw with your message here is that these are the callouts of a team player. This is something I think a lot of people who talk about how miserable solo queue is somewhat miss- the biggest advantage of a SWF from a pure strength perspective, not a balance one, is that you know at least some of your teammates are trustworthy and will want to play cooperatively with you. Playing with people who actually want to function as a team does not make you better as a player (at least in one match, it does give you a better avenue to practice), and that's very, very, very important to remember.
It's important to remember that "solo queue is miserable" and "SWF is a balance problem" are two completely different statements with completely different causes. Comms do not make a difference in gen efficiency and rescues; teamwork does. Solo queue players need access to the same information as a SWF (or at least as close to it as possible), but that won't magically make their teammates want to play cooperatively. Solo queue will always be weaker for that reason, not because of comms.
You're playing semantics for the sake of making a point when you still agreed with me in your own words. You said yourself that playing in a SWF w/ comms allows players to be better coordinated and more effective, how does that NOT make them better players?
Exactly like I said, players don't go from bot to Ayrun from one match to the next just because they go from Solo to SWF but you 100% become better when you're in a SWF w/ comms regardless of if you utilize the full list of advantages you're given. You don't need 10,000 hours, god-looping abilities, exceptional teamwork to simply say "Ghostface is on me by the Shack" or "I'm nearby getting the hook, you can stay on your gens". Just because theres a pool of casual players that don't listen or can't adapt in a SWF scenario doesn't discount the vast majority that do become better in a SWF. Do you think the thousands of players out there that post daily in Console LFG/DBD FB/DBD Discord thirsty for a SWF w/ comms are ONLY doing it so they can socialize or talk to friends? They're also doing it because they know that SWF w/ comms makes the game much easier and players in general perform better when they have that platform
You're trying to isolate the 1 lesser-skilled player and making it seem like having 3 cooperating/communicating players on the same team makes 0 difference to that 1 player on an individual level. Even if they don't know all the map layouts, all the mindgames and all the right plays they are still inherently better because of using comms and being able to absorb everything from their teammates. You get this by default in SWF w/ comms even when the team has bad chemistry or 1-2 selfish players so that's not true that teamwork is THE factor. Why do you think the majority of Solo players are hesitant to cooperate in the first place??? Its because they don't have the basekit information and communication that you have when you're all in a Discord call. Good solo lobbies regularly throw matches when they have all the momentum in their favor because of simple stuff like 2 people going to make a save instead of 1 committing to the nearly finished generator. Comms singlehandedly changes that entire scenario and it leads to an easy escape for the hooked player and the two that wind up dying as well trying to make the play
I'm not sayings its impossible to ever play a decent level without comms and just doing an in-game SWF/SoloQ but I don't think anybody can tell me with a straight face that those same players wouldn't have their current skill level and their max potential heightened by simply using comms. There's thousands of good solo lobbies and SWFs in the past and ahead in the future that lost/will lose for the pettiest reasons even when they have great teamwork and no issues cooperating so why is that? There's also thousands of SWF matches where 1 boosted/less-experienced player will escape consistently and make certain plays that they don't make when they play alone so why is that?? Its because they're still missing the ability to use comms or because they DO have comms. It seems like you truly believe that SWF as we know it would still be looked at the same way and performing consistently at the same levels even if they never used comms

Players dont get magically better just because they play in a SWF.
Yes they do lol. They don't all of a sudden learn how to mindgame/loop better but by default they gain access to multiple perks and valuable info that you don't get in SoloQ. Nobody that plays both SoloQ and SWF at a reasonable level can dispute this
For example, a mediocre player will 100% perform better against a stealth killer in a SWF with their friends than they would if they qued up alone. "Pig is committing to me by Shack still, Ill let you know if she drops chase'' is a 2 second callout that makes the entire difference between a nervous player letting somebody die on their 1st hook or not committing to their gens because they're unsure of where the killer is and a player confidently making plays because the information they have is game-changing. Other simple game-changing callouts -
"She has Franklins, drop your medkits somewhere"
"I have GF by schoolbus, Ruin is at the car pallet right next to it so I'm kiting him away. Its clear to cleanse"
"Its the Artist, I have her on me downstairs. Commit to middle gen upstairs"
"Its Trapper. He set up the 2 jungle gyms and main but nothing in shack" "In the grass right next to my hook on your left there's a trap"
"Hag didn't set any basement traps, come save"
"Try to go down at the pallet where you're running to, we're both right here for the save in either direction"
Yeah, comms clearly doesn't make any difference in gen efficiency or rescues/chases

Since the salt is building in this room i'll state the obvious. Unless someone is certified cheating/hacking or real stuff comes up, you should never dc. There are 5 people in a match. If your not having fun it sucks but there's 4 other people just like you trying to have fun. When you DC you ruin their fun too. The reason the DC penalty exists is people in this game DC ALL the time when it's turned off and for no good reason.
The killer found me first, I dont like this map, this killer is unfun, the survivors have flashlights ect.
Strongly disagree with most of you. I don't believe that the penalties should be removed or that people should constantly quit over things like taking first chase and any other petty reasons, but when I have teammates intentionally sandbagging me or 'accidentally' doing it multiple times in a row I'm outta there. Idgaf about a 5 minute penalty, there's better things to do in those 5 minutes anyway so I will gladly switch to something more productive like making something to eat or interacting with my chat and giving them undivided attention
This idea that you have to care about every other player in every lobby that more than likely don't give a single zuck about you is kinda ridiculous. Play SoloQ for a few days straight without ever switching to SWF and let me know how much consideration all of your teammates have for you and your 'fun'
-
Had this happen to me in a match where I killed ScottJund
I didn't get mad or anything but it was a quick 'Really?..' moment so its definitely a thing. I have the VOD from my perspective but I wish I had the VOD from his perspective too. The next day I replayed that stream and found my match, he was laughing with chat when it happened and said himself that he did the vacuum and should've been downed so that made me feel a lil better
-
After 3-4 minutes without at least X amount of gen progress being made in a 3-gen scenario the Killer should get Killer Instinct until they successfully land 1 hit or Survivors should all get Exposed for the duration of the match. This would probably encourage the Killer to get the match over with for both sides instead of allowing the Survivors to run and reset and waste each other's time while providing Survivors a chance as long as they're actively trying to play and not griefing by hiding in lockers across the map. Sure, I've had games where we were able to finesse our way out of tough 3-gens but it's very time consuming and just feels kinda stat-paddy on both sides
No bias, but 3-gens 99% of the time are Survivor's fault. There's the occasional game where a killer can set up shop early but even then good players regularly power through this by playing ping-pong

@Omans said:
Nurse is OP similar to how SWF is OP. They both allow players to go up against players who may be better than them, and still win. This is not fair for either side.
SWF allows survivors to do things that give make the game very easy, so the killer facing them generally has to play better. SWF is OP.
Nurse allows the killer player to do the same. When the nurse player reaches the much-lower-than-people-think skill barrier, they start dominating. Nurse is OP.
Of course, if the SWF side isn't that good, and if the nurse player isn't that good, it doesn't matter whether they are using these OP tools or not. That doesn't mean they both aren't OP. SWF is OP. Nurse is OP.
Don't listen to the people defending nurse. The singular reason why people defend nurse and not SWF despite both being grossly OP, is nurse is a solo role. These nurse players think that having such an advantage while playing the nurse is fine because it is easier to say "i'm just that good" or "no one knows how to play against Nurse" or some variation of the same old lies.
Know what is funny, though? These same nurse mains all claim SWF is OP. At the same time, they say only nurse and blight can handle SWF. If one OP thing (SWF) can be beaten by something even up to the absolute top level (nurse), that means nurse is OP. Like, obviously...
The only thing I agree with you on is that the Nurse's skill-floor is always misjudged by most people. Hillbilly, Blight, Artist and Oni have a higher skill-floor in my opinion because they have to play at a consistently higher level in order to produce the same results as Nurse. Outside of that, I don't consider Nurse to be overpowered at all. The main and only reason people feel she is OP is because the rest of the roster with the exception of a handful is buttcheeks. She only looks like a 20 because you have her standing in the same room next to 1s and 2s when in reality she's just a regular 8-10. Are there insanely strong builds on Nurse? Yeah, so do a lot of other Killers
If they stopped catering to boosted players more than the intermediate/veteran players than the meta for both sides would shift, there would be more diversity and less complaining. It's the equivalent of saying that a pool of warm water is boiling hot even though there's plenty of people in that same pool that aren't getting burned right next to you. Is that water really boiling hot or are you just accustomed to spending all of your time in the freezing cold pool next door? AKA, Is she really broken or are the majority of the M1 killers so weak that it feels like a shock when you go from playing a Trapper to Nurse from one match to the next? I truly believe that bullying the weaker killers for so many years has trained people to believe that whenever there's an A or S tier killer that doesn't allow them to play the way they're used to they claim its broken or boring.

Every killer has a chance against skilled survivors and SWF. Stop using Ms. Fundamentally Broken as an excuse for being bad with other killers.
Historically incorrect and just a lazy blanket statement. Its the good old classic "Your character has nothing to do with it, its all about skill". DBD is dominated by RNG, the tiles that get generated are all RNG, the spawn locations are RNG, the map you get placed on is entirely RNG..Even the players in your lobby are RNG considering MMR breaks itself for the sake of getting people into faster matches regardless of their rating instead of making them wait 9+ minutes for players within their range
In a game littered with RNG it is physically impossible for skill to be the sole factor in a match's outcome. When people mention SWFs they're not really talking about Jenna the 35 year old mom of 4 playing with her husband and their work buddies who have 200 hours total and play for only 2 hours every 7 days, they're usually talking about the 23 year olds who plays daily in 3-4 man stacks of 5-15,000 hour players that play at peak efficiency and use Discord
I challenge you to play several hundred matches each with characters like Freddy, Michael, Pig, Ghostface, Trapper and Clown and record your gameplay. You will quickly realize that no matter how many good plays you make, what builds you run, how many mindgames you won, how many skill-shots you land, how many 3-gens you defend and how many kills you get you will still struggle in countless scenarios that other characters simply don't. Survivors playing poorly doesn't mean that a Killer isn't weak, a Trapper getting 4Ks against babies doesn't mean he now has the same potential as a Blight does. Tier lists exist for a reason, the stats also prove you wrong and they're skewed which makes it even worse
Some of you have a very obvious delusion when it comes to balance in this game and it shows. The Nurse is 'fundamentally broken' why exactly? Is it because you can't camp pallets or use the same rookie mindgames at safe or unsafe tiles that works on M1 Killers? Or is it because she actually forces the majority of the player base to adapt and improve their gameplay? Its funny how some of you expect Killers to "Get better, Just apply more pressure" in the most unrealistic scenarios but if there's an S tier character that puts a lot of the boosted players in their place? It apparently has nothing to do with the reality that most Survivors get carried by their teammates and aren't really good individually, its somehow just "Character broken, please nerf, ignores mechanics"
You guys want to have your cake and eat it too. You don't want any new Killers to be High B or A tier and have oppressive powers with unique counterplay but then complain that the only Killer who remains consistent at the absolute highest level is really strong. Pick one, Allow all the abandoned characters to get buffed to B or A tier or simply cope with Nurse being a notch above the rest of the roster

People complained that they were targeted by racist players with 0 evidence simply because they played a black character against Bubbas with a black mask on, what will happen when a person using this non-binary character gets tunneled or camped?
just because there are people like that doesn’t mean we have to be excluding certain types of representation at all. Or we shouldn’t have David as a gay character, or any characters that are not white, or even female characters.
for Bubba, there were legitimate reports of this happening on Stream, which therefore was also not reportable to BHVR because the harassment was happening outside of the game while using Smartface bubba as a tool for racism, knowing how it would affect the streamer. (Also there was a texture bug with that cosmetic)
Well you just proved my point in a way. If they punished the innocent majority who earned those cosmetics fairly just because of fringe cases that only involved less than a handful of people then why is the same logic now not valid? Using the same logic that led to the removal of masks, wouldn't it be better to just eliminate any extra outlets for people to be toxic rather than add it? That's my perspective on it and like I said, it has nothing to do with not supporting the community or feeling negative towards it. For me its more about picking a stance and sticking to it. I'm fine with them adding anything and everything into the game concerning this specific topic as long as it meant they weren't going to later remove it to virtue signal based off random incidents. I am personally salty still over the way the Bubba incident was handled and feel like they need to be consistent then if that's how they want to handle those types of situations
If they add it then cool that's fine with me, If not then cool because its less fuel in the DBD fire. Just my opinion and I know I'm not the only one who feels the same. More power to BHVR for whatever path they choose

I really like playing sadako I just find it ridiculous that right after releasing sadako they came out with a better version of her. Sure the dredge's teleport is slower across map but it is also less telegraphed and dredge has anti loop. It just makes me sad, don't get me wrong I like dredge too.
I find the Dredge to be weak too. These two chapters really highlight something that isn't new at all but keeps happening every single chapter release. They try to focus on making a Killer's kit revolve around anti-loop however they play it extremely safe out of fear of being too oppressive when in reality they pose 0 threat to coordinated teams that understand counter-play already
They need to stop being scared to make Nurse/Blight level Killers because all they're doing is adding characters to the bottom and middle of the pack instead of the top to promote diversity. There's a reason people aren't playing Sadoko or Dredge en masse

LOL no you cannot be a nonbinary man/woman, because man and woman are binary genders.
People stop talking over me, I am trans and you are spreading misinformation and making it harder for trans people like me to get accepted because you keep spreading nonsense
Talking over you? On a public forum?? Who even are you???
My answer to the OP is no I don't support this being added into the game but not out of hate or disrespect towards the LGBTQ+ community. I don't think it should be a thing because look at how hostile, egotistical community members like you are towards literally every single person that has a different perspective. I'm not saying people have to agree on everything or that it always has to be kumbaya but seriously?
'Misinformation' & 'making it harder for trans people like me' - There are others who play this game that probably have the same mindset as you and with that in mind I don't see how bringing this into the game will have a happy ending. Is people being 'represented' by a DBD character really worth the extra toxicity/scapegoating/victimizing people are going to do as a result? If you and others can't even handle a forum conversation on the subject without derailing it with political buzzwords and infighting what makes anybody think they can handle the character being in the game? People complained that they were targeted by racist players with 0 evidence simply because they played a black character against Bubbas with a black mask on, what will happen when a person using this non-binary character gets tunneled or camped? What's gonna happen whenever art of this character is made or the lore/existence of this character is mentioned on any of the DBD public forums? Its gonna bring unnecessary personal beliefs, politics and avoidable drama into a community that already has enough infighting
I think the revisions to David's lore and BHVRs VERY public support of the LGBTQ+ community is more than enough representation considering a lot of the staff and certain Fog Whisperers/Featured content creators already flaunt their support openly. Would it be cool? Sure but it brings unnecessary issues along with it as anybody can easily see by reading the first 2 pages of this thread

I always see him in D teir on most teir list and people saying he's really bad. He deffinatly is not bad, it's just that he is really boring . Before he got nerfed he was a go to killer to grind up to rank 1 and now he is a little worse but he plays much smoother than he used too. Freddy is very good in many categories and is mid B teir. True he is boring, but a very strong killer
Ah yes, the classic "This character isn't weak guys, you guys just don't understand how to use them porperly". According to some DBD players there's never a such thing as a Killer being bad, its apparently only based on skill and has nothing to do with their design
Freddy is bad, period. Its okay to like a character, but its not cool to lie about the characters' ability in a blanket statement. He's nowhere close to B tier or 'very strong', he has some of the worst anti-loop abilities in the game and his power is on a long cooldown when it doesn't even do much in the first place. Don't even get me started on his addons being amongst the worst in the game as well. Freddy is so trash that the Devs haven't even fought to give him a single cosmetic and soon the game will be a decade old. Every other character in the game at one point has been given cosmetics including the licensed ones. If that alone doesn't speak volumes about the state of Freddy then I don't know what does

Title says all. Just curious if 5 perk slots for killer will balance against SWF or would it make it more of an issue?
No and until players and the devs all realize that using perks as bandaids to mitigate damage caused by problems that have gone unaddressed for years the game will continue to be poorly balanced. Perks are not the answer and have never been the answer on either Survivor or Killer
You wanna balance the game? Address the poor map design where they're either way oversized or completely claustrophobic. Their RNG system poorly generates tiles on some maps that lead to ridiculously unfair deadzones or ridiculously unfair chains of windows into god pallets all in a small area
Address how the main objective of the game (5 gens) has stayed the same for the past 6 years instead of making an early game collapse. Adding 10 seconds to gen time is extremely boring as Survivor and nothing special for Killers that play efficient squads in the majority of their matches
Address the fact that the devs continue to shun the idea of an early game mechanic because "We tried a test version of it privately and most of us weren't having fun so we scrapped it". Of course they weren't having fun, they actually had to do more than spawn right next to a gen and hold 1 button for a minute and probably got exposed by whoever was playing Killer. Also who cares if they have fun, what do the actual players want? The players are the reason the game exists are they not? They should be the priority above the Dev's personal interests
Address the fact that Killers in 2022 still aren't allowed to place map offerings that tremendously decreases the chance of going to 1 specific map instead of the opposite. Address the fact that us as Survivors can still cherry-pick cheesy maps of our choice to synergize with whatever build us and our SWF wants to abuse at the moment
Address the fact that it took 6 years of collecting useless data for them to finally start addressing the same issues that the best players/best content creators and thousands of average players have been giving feedback on. They tell people to give feedback instead of criticizing their company but then proceed to ignore the majority of feedback and only selecting the parts they agree with regardless of how it effects the game
Address the fact that MMR was falsely advertised and is the same exact system as the one they publicly admitted to scrapping because "It only tracked escapes and kills and we felt that it wasn't a good enough indicator". The balance conversation always gets altered because people cite skewed statistics as proof of things being fine when in reality the MMR system itself creates mismatched lobbies for both Survivors and Killers. You can be trapped in MMR hell with teammates way below your skill level and the Killer can also go against people way below/above their Skill level even after they play a decent amount of matches. No perks fix this issue
Address the fact that Survivors can que up and freely change their character/loadout but Killer was updated a while ago to be locked in to one character. Us as Survivors can bait and switch in any way we want up until the last second but the Killer can't have an option of 1-3 characters in the same MMR range that they want to interchange upon seeing Survivors making adjustments in the pre-game lobby. Either let both sides make limited adjustments or both sides make 0 adjustments
Address how the game is balanced more towards SoloQ than SWF yet SoloQ still feels miserable for the majority of players due to outdated mechanics. They never added a totem counter into the UI. They just now in 2022 made it so that you don't need to run BT by default to save yourself from getting downed immediately after getting off the hook. They just now made it so that you no longer have to run perks just to make kicking a generator actually do something useful
TLDR; They take years to collect data that aligns with common sense observations that even the most casual players have been pointing out since 2016. Perks are used as bandaids to fix problems that should be basekit and to disguise outdated issues that have still gone unaddressed
-
Nah, they already addressed it so any further feedback will have to wait 5 business years before they address something again.
They’re busy nerfing overpowered perks like Self-Care 😂

Lmao, so you're one of those people that had no problem these past few years where the meta was completely stagnant, predictable and boring for Killers and how favorable certain things have historically been for Survivor but the minute they drop a big patch that provides what people have been begging for years to get you're out? Spoken like a true one-sided player
-
Its not horribly catered to either side so even though its not perfect I'll take it with no complaint. There's multiple spots you can still abuse for both sides, plus it just went from being laughably Survivor sided to neutral for the most part. Depending on what each side brings/plays you'll see a variety of interesting match results here which is 100% better than having another map where its "Oh nice, the (insert role) gets a free win simply because this map is trash, how entertaining."
I don't care what side its for, if a map is severely lopsided like the old Haddonfield then its trash period. How anybody can even look at this as anything except a net-positive is amazing to me especially with the history of poor balance in this game
-
Its nowhere close to unrealistic for Survivors to break OR spot 1-5 totems (That have limited/obvious spawn points that haven't even changed in a longggg time) because you're not being asked to do it every single match you play. You can't spot, break or cleanse multiple totems at least one time in all the matches you play??? It happens on a daily basis in both Solo and SWF when I play both sides. You can just spot totems while hugging gens and then if NOED activates go check all of them to see which one was lit. Sometimes its easy money, sometimes you die or get caught in a bad spot which sucks but so what.. Wise people once said on these forums that players shouldn't expect to counter/win a situation 100% of the time so what's the issue with NOED denying escapes in some games?
Even if it WAS unrealistic, so what? NOED at that point is just something you have to cope with just like the rest of the perks on both sides that have parts where you can't always account for. There's transparent counter play for it unlike other perks that won't be named and its already been nerfed so this totem should be a dead topic in 2022. People said it was OP and impossible to deal with back when it used to be unlimited, now they converted it into a Hex and gave Survivors the power to control it via their secondary objective and its still too much to ask for?
I guess this is a byproduct of designing the game around holding one button for long durations, anything that involves actual interactivity or not sitting on a gen is too tedious. What are you guys really doing as Survivors that you're SO busy that doing bones or searching for the lit hex is unrealistic? I don't get it. NOED rewards bad play and boosts bad Killers yet there's somehow never time for people to do bones... If the Killers running it were really bad then it should be a GGEZ cleansing it and moving on to the next match. People tell Killers on a daily basis to stop acting as if every lobby has SEAL team 6 as a SWF but you guys act as if you're playing against Otzdarva every single game. NOED is not that deep, literally just do the bones or pop the exit gate and save yourself

So survivors doing their full objective (5 gens) arent allowed to get a bonus aka Adrenaline? You lack logic in all details. Players like you are the problem esp on this forum. No gamesense at all.

Imagine ignoring everything explained, having no argument besides "this is fine" and still trying to justify this dumbness of a perk. Really poor mindset.

I truely hit the mark as youre just raging, throwing out false accusations, trying to "make fun" of my gamesense and skill, trying to make me look biased by purposely misjudging all my posts (you obviously never read). Ah yes and making false statements like "yet people werent complayining until recently", which is btw easily proved wrong. You really made yourself laughable.
You're still talking?? ...I don't have to judge or make you 'look' any type of way, you've already done that yourself with your terrible opinions that conveniently only favor one side and your blatant hypocrisy shows in the upvote ratios and your words. Here's a compilation of things you've said so far since your memory is a lil foggy ^^^ I promise you 100% of the people that would ever agree with such poor takes are also players that only play one side of the game and still aren't even good at it.
This is comedy though, a rookie talking to vets about worth, logic, gamesense, poor mindsets and then saying I made fun of you to make you look bad.. All I did was match your energy and now you're salty that I'm speaking facts about NOED and Nurse. What have I said that can be 'proven wrong'? People leave their thoughts on everything in DBD forums/discord at all times therefore pointing to the 300 rookies of the world that said she's OP 10 months ago doesn't prove anything other than its a flash in the pan compared to all the actually relevant topics. What CAN be proven is that like I said, ever since she got disabled for maintenance people have been creating an echo chamber about her potential since they got a free taste of how much easier the game is without her in it. Remind me why she was disabled - Oh yeahhh its because she was bugged which benefitted Survivors but since that's convenient for most of you it got swept under the rug for years.
She became a very popular topic within the last few months when in reality before the maintenance she wasn't mentioned on here nearly as much because people were too busy worried about CoH/Spirit/Blight/NOED/DH/The last 4 DLC Releases/Haddonfield/Boil Over/Dead Man's Switch/(Insert all the way more relevant topics)..
You can also see yourself above contradicting what you said earlier from one sentence to the next by saying Adrenaline is a perfectly fine bonus at the end-game while complaining that NOED 'rewards' for nothing. Is that me making this up or are you just oblivious to your own thoughts? I'm pretty sure that Adrenaline rewards players for....what exactly? With NOED you play with 3 perks for the majority of the match in exchange for momentum at the end just like Adrenaline, Hope, Blood Warden and NWO. Most people would do anything or tolerate any trigger condition as long as they get the potential of the perk at the end, therefore Adrenaline and NOED etc. should be straight-forward non issues but here you are complaining about anything positive for Killers... If you truly played Survivor at even a mediocre level you would be able to spot totems and deal with NOED while understanding you control whether or not it even activates and if its not logical then its better to just pop the gate to escape which should be enough to satisfy you.
I don't get it, Killers get told to "apply pressure" in even the most impossible/lopsided scenarios but "do bones" is somehow not a cliche but accurate argument for NOED? What skill is involved in taking an M1 or being alive after 5 generators or getting hooked? Nothing, yet they still provide meta performance for things that naturally take place in every match regardless of skill. I don't see you complaining about any of those though, but its a smear campaign if I say you're biased 😂 Either all these end-game perks are fair or they're all busted, make up your mind

You obviously never played against the same godnurses as they played addonless. There was a period where they deliberately showed how broken basekit nurse is. And that was even before they fixed most of her bugs. Dont talk big if youre in no position for anything worthful.
Unlike you I have a whole body of work that speaks for itself and years worth of content that proves what I'm capable of in DBD which is obviously more than you. I spend most of my time actually creating content and perfecting all my crafts instead of crying about my shortcomings on the forums like you Mr/Ms 700 posts worth of excuses and survivor bias. You spend way more time here than me and yet still nobody agrees or respects your trash take, it's pretty clear which one of knows what we're talking about
I also love you how assume I haven't gone against god Nurses meanwhile I'm nearly one myself and still don't find her basekit OP when I play against any decent ones out there because I don't make the same predictable movements multiple times and I know how to abuse LoS to kill maximum amounts of time. Imagine thinking a Killer's basekit is "OvErPoWeReD" when it wasn't even working properly for years.... News flash but most of DBD forum takes from people like you here are less about things being overpowered and more about one side not being able to close the gap in skill. Sorry but if you're regularly getting stomped by a Killer with no addons or a Survivor with no Perks/Items then that's more of you being a **** player and not a balance issue...No wonder you think a perk is unfair when you'd probably struggle if the same player had none of them equipped
Nurse was bugged for so long yet people weren't really complaining until recently when she became fixed and reactivated. More Nurse players came back to use her again and people are butthurt that they have less easy matches than when she was gone but yes, The kid that cries about addon-less Nurse and NOED is in a better position than all of us to discuss balance and skill

Lets see, the killer "failed" to stop the gens from being repaired? He gets a speed boost and exposed instant down capability.
That is indeed rewarding failure.
I've seen too many killers win only because of perks like NOED, Blood Warden, No Way Out. When slowdown perks weren't used.
Coercing Survivors into the end-game is a popular and intentional strategy that you see daily. How can it be rewarding failure if somebody running something like NWO/NOED/Blood Warden WANTS the gens to be completed? I'll wait

This is you in another thread complaining Basekit Nurse OP right? Don't ever talk about gamesense when you struggle with addon-less Nurse and only play one side of the game...
The audacity of you to talk about logic as well when you're crying about NOED rewarding people even though it requires you to play with 3 perks for a large part of the match in exchange for a bonus at the end....you know exactly like Adrenaline? The perk you're justifying like an obvious hypocrite 😂 With your post count compared to mine and your multiple bad takes I'd say you're more of a problem on this forum than me. Do Bones and get good please

Right and Adrenaline bailing out Survivors that got outplayed and all the second chance perks available to Survivors throughout the course of a match are flawless and working as intended
People like you are exactly why the game is dying a slow death, You don't play both sides and cry about things you don't like while conveniently ignoring your many benefits on the same topics

The same people in here saying that this never existed are the same people that regularly complain out loud or in chat about the same bullet points listed.... On the same forums they claim it doesn't exist lies threads complaining about the same bullet points listed... Its annoying but I would agree with them only about ignoring it or not paying attention to it so that's the only thing people above got right. Anybody else claiming it isn't a part of DBD's culture though is delusional or hasn't really been around the community for a long enough time.
I've had other twitch afilliates visit my stream to complain about a perk that's supposedly unskilled or OP when they're just average middle of the pack non-meta perks, people regularly complain or insult others about stuff that happens in a match that wasn't even the Killer's fault (like when a teammate sandbags and you capitalize off of it). I've even had a fog whisperer I won't name cursing out of character and salty towards me when I went to donate bits and say GG in their chat because I defended my hook on them at the end of a brutal game against their SWF with a red forest offering.
Didn't slice them on the hook or shake my head or facecamp or tunnel and I had green perks on a level 30 prestiged Pinhead (I had to check the screenshot again to confirm lol, that was now 7 months ago).. I simply played defense against a meta stacking Twitch SWF and got criticized by
the popular person who won't be namedthat was stacking the deck in their favor and still died. I intentionally didn't tunnel them in scenarios where I saw them injured and let them go and I played perfectly fair on a character I still wasn't even that good at compared to my mains... Didn't even say a GG back or thank me for donating, just acknowledged me in a very passive-aggressive and bitter way while cursing/ complaining about me killing them at the end and telling me about my 'mistakes' and how I 'need to play better' despite nobody asking. The delusion/hypocrisy/entitlement is real in DBD and that's why I play very casually now and don't even stream it constantly like I did before. When I do actually play now though I completely ignore these weirdos and I make it fun for myself by doing whatever I want and never apologizing for it or making artificial challenges for myself like win streaks without perks etc. Nobody is responsible for my fun with the game except for me and that's what I focus on, F anybody else respectfully
