Just use Borrowed Time. Second strongest survivorperk in the game. No reason not to run it.
-
Get dedicated server'd.
-
Mainly played Nurse, so I can't comment on their looping, but generally Yuis are easy BBQ stacks.
-
Voice comms is cheating, no matter how one chooses to look at it. However some SWF groups are overly altruistic and just meme around, though those get rarer the higher you climb the ranks.

As an all B player you should try feng
What do I need to get Kate?

How dare we buff a low-tier killer.

Sorry, I'm new and don't get it. So if a killer is camping do you just say forget the teammate and continue gens?
Yes. The killer camps in the hope that people get off generators to save the camped one. If no one comes, then the killer is losing the game and depips.
The only reason why camping is still practised to this day is because survivors allow it to succeed.

This is exactly what I mean and how it feels every time they do something to the sounds in this game, accident or not. I really wish the community were a bit louder with there criticism of what i think is the most important killer core mechanic in the game imo.
As far as I see, killers have been extremely vocal about it. But since the devs never put any effort into "fixing" it, people just gave up. It gets tiresome at some point.
-
Right now with sounds being ######### as usual I was tempted to vote for Stridor as a band-aid fix. But Nurses's Calling is a godlike perk.
-
Sound quality detoriated steadily since 2016, and continues to do so. The devs put no effort into fixing it, or its intentional. Killers just adapted to it.
-
Yeah, playing Nurse only since a few weeks really. No point playing anything else, because of the stress.
Nurse can be stressful too though, but thats mainly because of dedicated servers hating her to the bone.
-
I will happily trade moris for SWF.
Deal?
-
Just my 2 cent that playing Nurse on dedicated servers is .. a special experience. Short blinks in particular often get underblinked by the servers. I really noticed how I need to charge quite a bit longer to get the same distances as before.

I miss the old main menu music personally... (The piano score).
But I believe it does this so you can cycle through the unique music that's linked between each Killer... except a few that don't have unique music like Trapper, Wraith, etc... Killers like Myers (at the start), Spirit, Clown, etc, have unique music that plays in the Killer menu because that's the music that their trailers came with... and it also came with their debut into the LIVE game in the main menu...
The same was for Legion when he was release, Plague, and GhostFace... the main menu reflected their unique themes until the next DLC dropped... than it was changed.
I am talking about how you won't have any music when being in a lobby.
I personally always let the original piano score play in the background on YT to circumvent that.
-
On a related note, I don't like it how the menu music stops once you get into a lobby.
I like the menu music alot, but it only plays when being in the, well, menu.

Probably me! I can't even learn to play because I get put against survivors who have the loops and timing down so well I often lose WITH ZERO HOOKS almost every match. Now I don't mind losing, but I've come to accept that I can't win even if I try, so I've just about resigned myself to meme matches at this point.
Eventually the interest in even that is going to fade, and I am just going to go play a different game instead. This is what made me quit DBD the first time, looks like it's gonna be what makes me quit the second time and probably for good- it was foolish of me to think the devs would ever take this problem seriously.
The thing is that Dbd is not a competetive horror game, but a party game. You have 4 survivors who are having the time of their life, and 1 killer who is there for their amusement. Atleast thats how it feels like when you are not playing Nurse or Spirit.
-
Yeah, I played 13 games as survivor today on rank 5, and 4, and every single time we got killer in either green ranks or low purple ranks.

Tell me how often is it every single game that someone has DS, and tell me this, if you're so bothered, why don't you run a anti DS build? As in slug after hook.
How many of my matches have 4 DS involved? Atleast 50% of them. DS usage skyrocketed now that it is advertised as anti-tunnel perk. So what is your point?
-
4 toolboxes is easily the most overpowered thing in this entire video game.
-
Killer is alot more stressful. You are the only one in your team, so any mistake on your side is like 4 survivors making a mistake. So survivor is by desing more chill.
-
SWF gives you atleast 10 perks for free.
-
65.
I am missing quite alot of challenges from tome 2 nd 3 though. I just got that far in the rift, because I have no life.
-
Frustrating situation, we all go through it as some point.
Though, this post raises an actual concern. Survivors being able to blind you way outside of your field of view. How many times have I littterally hugged the wall, and still got blinded, even though I saw nothing but the wall and my weapon.
-
Nurse.
If she is good, the moment she sees you, you are sentenced to death.
-
Just the other day, I was playing Ghostface, and over the course of the match, I got hit by all 4 Decisive Strikes. 3 of those were me pulling injured suvivors off generators. I am sorry survivors, but if me stopping you from doing your objective is tunnelling, well then, I am a filthy tunneller.
-
People like this is why I am a Nurse-main.
Object of Obsessions = Mercilessly tunnel out of the game.
-
Someone said he would be top tier, so obviously Behaviour took the only logical step and nerfed him.
See you in the fog!
-
I miss old Freddy. He might have been weak, but he was really fun to play.
-
Generally old killers have simple descriptions. Trapper, Nurse, Billy, Hag, Huntress ...
-
Yeah, as a whole this game is horribly horribly optimised. Like closed alpha level optimisation. I have a fairly old laptop, but it still runs the newest Fallout, or Tomb Raider, or Total War game at 40+ fps. However Dbd is the only game where my computer actually stutters, and where I need to meddle with the config files to get decent fps. Which actually makes no ######### sense, because the mapsizes are actually pretty small, and the game graphics don't even look that great.

i have whispers in my core 3 killer perks on EVERY killer, BBQ, Whispers, Enduring (4th perk most of the time is haunted grounds for memes and sometimes i slugged 3-4 survs in those 60sec)
whispers is strongest non teachable perk in the game and imo 2nd or 3rd if you count teachables but in contrast to many other perks it require constant thinking how you use it and it gets better the more you use it with EGC ingame whispers pretty much guarantee you kill, whispers make you waste less time looking for 1st survivor (btw most killers are using ruin because they cant find and catch 1st surv fast enough) and that perk its not that much in meta because as i told it require player to use brain while playing most players in this game want effortless profit like ruin, noed
Personally I find Sloppy Butcher the strongest non-teachable. Its the barebone of any anti-heal build.

Man, I wish I could play Nurse. Been practicing for past couple of weeks but I am absolutely terrible as her lol. I've even been using the Brown add-on that lets you see where the blink lands to get a feel for how not to blink into walls and that didn't help me haha.
Also great to see Nurse players now though, they are always the deadly and fantastic Killers that appear at the high ranks and make you mind game the LOS blockers far more than anyone else due to the blink.
Yeah, I picked her up looong before her rework, so the nerf is just a minor inconvenience. I stack the 2 recharge add-ons (I have hundreds of them stockepiled, lol), and it feels almost the same really.
Now she is really hard to learn. Its simple math why. You blink less per match = less practise per match = it takes you more matches = more time to learn. What took weeks pre-rework, now takes months. Honestly you might as well pick up Sprit instead. She is much easier and you can get almost the same results.
-
Personally I don't mind having less deviousness. Nurse is the only killer that can consistently garuntee 4 BBQ stacks, which makes her the best farming killer in the game. A little bit less deviousness won't hurt much.

Yeah, pretty sure he's been playing Survivor for the past couple of months now I think. It is really hard at high ranks to play Killer - kudos goes out to people that can actually achieve at least a couple of kills per trial.
Yea, I honestly won't blame him. I as Nurse-main can deal with the imbalance quite well, but I imagine that people who main weakers killers will be burned out quite quick. And I know that Tru3 tried to always play every killer equally, so it really was just a matter of time until he joined the dark side.
-
Ontop of that, there should be a ping-indicator in the match too. Litterally every online game nowadays has that as BASIC feature.
Like pressing TAB should open an overlay of everyone with their score and ping.

Since switching from Killer to Survivor, I have noticed these wait times too. I agree about the reasoning for why I switched sides from Killer to Survivor though. Killer is NOT fun at high ranks. As many people have said, Tru3Ta1ent (and you can't ignore that he has incredible knowledge of the game as a whole) has switched from Killer main to Survivor recently due to how you cannot make one mistake without losing the entire game.
There needs to be an actual incentive to play Killer at high ranks as it is simply just Bully Simulator 2019 right now.
Also are Rank Rework/possibly Rewards planned to be announced in the upcoming months? (according to the Road Map released in June?)
Wait, Tru3 actually stopped playing killer for now? Haven't watched him for a while, because I find his neverendling negativity incredible repetive, but I am still curious, since I respect his opinion of the game.

"any direction" So you dont notice hes hugging the left hand wall then turned 90 degrees?
The problem is that this kind of fast vaulting is not intended.
They changed the vaulting last October, with the following message;
"Adjusted the speed thresholds to hit a running vault (fast vault). They should now be more consistent. To hit a running vault, make sure to run straight at the window with at least 2.5 meters of clearance."
The Claudette I posted vaulted a window with not even 2 metres of clearance. This makes basically any window in the game fast vaultable, and defeats the entire purpose of the medium fault.
-
Hex: Third Seal
It is extremely fun if it actually gains some traction, but unfortunately its a Hex, so its survival chances are too slim to justify running it.
-
If you don't like slow vaults, just learn to fast vault properly. I have seen survivors being able to fast vault the window of the 4-walls-tile from the wrong site. It litterally only has like 2 metres of clearance infront of it.
Edit:
Survivors pulling off that proves you can fast vault any window from any direction you want.

Strong killers.
I always get my heart beating in chases versus Nurses, or Spirits. I try to stealth against those killers.
Whenever I face a Bubba, or Wraith, or Clown, I purpose go out my way to get chased, because otherwise I am mentally AFK for over 50% of the match.
-
Don't worry guys, Dead by Daylight will leave the open alpha by 2030 :)
Meanwhile enjoy our new cosmetics, and rushed chapters, clogging up your SSD!
See you in the fog everyone!
-
Because its not a ranking system, but an interaction system. It measures how well you interact with others, specifically with the other side, and how well you are at stalling the game. Longer games = higher chance to pip.
-
Deliverance?
-
Short answer: The developers don't have the manpower to do that.
Long answer: They don't even have the manpower to do the current 1v4 gamemode properly, so how can you expect them to be able to maintain another one?
-
From the technical standpoint, the game is still in an alpha state. For the map sizes and graphics it offers, its way way too ressource-demanding. Also the game files somehow grew to incredible 30GB.
I am no programmer, but I know several indie games with 10 times more content, and better graphics, that run better and take up less space.
-
I wouldn't mind making maps dark again, like they used to be, if we also go back to the old sound system, where you could reliably hear survivors.
But if we make it dark, and leave also killers deaf, then stealth is going to become one hell of a nasty meta.

I mean if you're going to nerf keys, then nerf ebony moris. As op as killers say survivors are remember you keep getting survivors nerfed. Bloodlust is now a thing, hitboxes increased in size, perks are consistantly nerfed on survivors and not killers, aim assist was also added. But lol to that.
Found the person that cries for killer nerfs, without playing killer themselves. "Aim assist" hurts you more than it helps you.

That seriously sucks. It has made it much harder to play Killer, imo. I like to consider myself a killer main, but it has been so much harder to play as Killer since the latest patch. My headphones seem broken! Such a huge difference in sound lately.
Yeah same. I remember when I first started the game, and I first picked up killer. I had such an easy time tracking survivors, generator progress, and so on. But over the time, sound became less and less reliable. Now this has reached the point, where the broken sound is the most annoying thing for me when playing killer right now. I never cared too much about genspeed, or DS, or BT, or SWF, or the other crap as long as I was able to track people by sound. But now that since little over a year now, sound is no longer a viable option for me to find people, playing killer becomes incresingly unfun and just plain frustrating.
