Obviously someone who doesnt understand the power of Trapper.
if all the traps at least spawned in armed that would be appreciated. I feel so naked without Legions basekit info I'm not gonna lie.

Lol yea everytime i bring up shanoa theres "well i've been wanting an Eren legendary" too. Funny thing i got the mods to use my one time name change for this, so they know how badly i want shanoa (i also talk too much on this forum so the name is everywhere), weather they've done anything with that info ill never know lol
oh, really? I didn't realize you had a makeover! good choice on tattoo too!

The AoT collab in general was such a disappointment to me.
The music is good don't get me wrong, but the skins themselves are really underwhelming. I hate how they're just cosplays of the AoT characters, not the actual real characters. Some like Mikassa and Annie look pretty decent, but then you have others like Levi and Armin who just look terrible. Then of course you have the killer skins which don't come with any new animations, voice lines, sound effects, or mori's.
Either we should have gotten actual legendary skins of the AoT characters, or if they wanted to stick to just cosplays then there's no excuse not to add more of the cast.
To your point, it is pretty funny seeing the Attack Titan walking around setting up bear traps, though I actually do like playing Trapper. Unfortunately I'm almost certainly not going to buy this skin if it doesn't come with any of the things I listed above.
no joke I think I've seen the Simple Jack skin for Felix twice, I think that has to genuinely be the runner up for worst skin in the game.

Ironicly i have a tattoo of Eren, even tho my favorite is Annie. I'd be suprised after all this time they don't bother to make any legendary survivor skins since they got tokyo ghoul's artstyle to mesh into the game's. And when seeing titan Eren might be coming i had a feeling you would make a post about it lol
kinda random but I was half tempted to tag you; I feel a sense of camaraderie with your username haha.

The blood pools a few years ago was so fun and unique. I p100’d Nemesis and Wesker from that event alone
I know some people weren't a fan of it but I thought the iron will/coup pools were neat. I got some value as loud people like feng/Claire
-
this has gone on since at least the AoT update 6.1. some of the changes needed to happen but from that point on I feel like the game really wants you to gogogo. this is partly why I enjoy using perks like Treacherous Crows

id honestly be surprised if anyone actually cares about that balance stuff. by anyone I mean licence holders.

I think its necessary for annoying singularitys or coulrophobia sluggers. they can have fun bleeding out bots.
-
this combo is so toxic. it needs to go yesterday

congrats man! I hope she goes on sale for anniversary id like to join ya. I'll probably have my 1st match be human only for the funsies

I just use corrupt seal every single match. no iri? no plague

Problem with niche character concepts is bhvr are going to look at whether it makes them money or not. Niche ones probably won't, unless the creators approach bhvr and offer to pay to have their character featured as an advertisement.
we got Japanese ring over the American so you never know.

you could run zanshin and also follow the yellow where you'll inevitably meet the WoO gamer.
-
I gotta agree with royval the hold does literally nothing. I don't see why it's any more special than weskers throw or slingers gun.
-
some killers are better and worse with some perks, that makes them unique unlike survivors which is cool. chucky for example does not synergize with Undetectable.
making builds is where most of my fun is i enjoy the challenge
-
aura reading is so obnoxious i run ooo and deerstalker so I can play around them. I wouldn't mind it as much if we had the 2v8 reveal mechanic

her soliton radar is the coolest part about her i would love it

I believe that changes shouldn't only come from statistics, but also the real people experience that play your game.
People simply don't enjoy to go against him. That's what matters the most - and feedback doesn't feel to be heard by the devs.
If we need the statistic input - look at the DC rate against the ghoul, my guess that he will be killer that most people DC against.
that's the struggle about asymmetrical games, because modern dbd meta tempts people into playing ghoul. killers don't like hold w pre running Laras and yet people still don't want to play the actually op Nurse, the queen of dbd.

The Suprise that i said about is that sense I finally reached p100 im gonna make a Guide to not only play As the Unknown but also play Against him.
Im gonna wait for the buffs before I start. Sense im on switch there maybe a Delay because if update Delays.
In The mean time ill Allow the Community pick my Next P100 Killer. It can be Anyone.
you could join @TheGoon224 and become one of the half dozen krasue players! I got my 3rd and final "you're playing vs the krasue!" message a few weeks ago and I have not seen her since
-
flocks of sables give me more attention than irl girls (maybe it's because I haven't showered in a week) so I don't mind them.
I just wish they'd play a little hard to get instead of being freaky off the get go.
-
hope things work out for ya!
-
ghoul sounds worthless as a 110 killer, nobody is gonna play a 110 m1 killer. and even then the goalpost would just move, "bodyblocking resources is unfun"
-
you're just in time for the buffs, congrats on crossing the finish line!
-
who cares about tiers? every killer should just be viable with some elbow grease.

EMPs and Turrets actually hinder the killer's power. Getting an aura of Springtrap does not. Sitting on a door is essentially making the game a 3v1 for the killer and we already know that a 3v1 is a strong position for the killer. Not only that but the survivor on the door is extremely vulnerable, because they can get grabbed by Springtrap teleporting.
The upside you get for interacting with Springtrap's power is not worth all the downsides you are inflicting upon yourself and the team.
its a 3v1 yes, but there are less open wounds for you to twist the knife into, so to speak. there's an entire hour before the server closes so it's not like there's a real rush. if a survivor doesn't go down then it's all the same difference, I feel.
-
you could run end game builds if you want people to respect your authoritay.

must be something new going on like when trickster was starting to act up. I haven't seen it though so I'll take buddys word for it

The map boosting has been god awful lately. Aint nobody wanting to play Nostromo and Swamp over and over again 💀🥀
I'm tired of my box always spawning on those dang Swamp docks. the geometry on this maps so awful if I don't afk for a while the box will guaranteed spawn back there. let me out of this place!
-
I would highly recommend playing the regular mode to get away from the potato leagues I've been seeing a lot of people going 2nd stage for no reason, or taming the killer at 5 gens.
-
theres an ebb and flow, but I primarily identify as killer but to reach true mastery I play way more survivor. I need to sharpen my empathy by knowing how my actions impact others in order to maximize my killing potential.
when a new killer comes out I like to face them as survivor so I know how they feel for the other side. this was why I was adamant that people need to play more vecna
-
too many cute people running around in this event. trickster is not allowed to be played he has fans all over the world that want autographs
and his level is no better I can't say no to Adams charging me at the convenience store or noodle stand...
-
I'm a minority i despise dead Dawg. I loathe it. I used to like it actually back in the days of the Dusty Noose, but idk what changed for me.
on the killer side, I play too many m1 killers so the level feels like a slog when everybody always bee lines the saloon or the comp corner. on the survivor side, I feel like the resources are meaningless against anti loop killers with aura reading. I hate it for everybody like I do Nostromo.
-
@BongoBoys said:
Its not useless just not worth it? Wasting time just to aura reveal for a short time is not worth maybe if it did something more then it would be worth.
I can only speak from my experience, but I despise facing bots in this game; we had a 2v8 where we had to have them and it was miserable. 24/7 wallhacks means you can't do anything but brute force everything because the survivors just mirror your movements perfectly. and perfect auras make us humans play almost as well as bots. I feel that sluggish gameplay shouldn't entirely be dismissed because at the end of the day, killers are still human.
xeno turrets are easy to understand because they act as WoO+Sprint Burst and straight up end or reset chases but you can't hear a killer go "ugh they see me..."
I personally would cry tears of joy if every springtrap knew my name and tried tunneling me off the spawn and I magically had survivors who knew and 2 did the gens with 1 on the doors that'd let me take the killer on a factory tour and almost make me look impressive to the team.
from my experience using scene Partner killers outright refuse to chase me because they know I can see them so I'm forced to leverage that with something like Shoulder, so auras have to be worth something.
-
@Crowman said:
You're spending time not on a generator to just see the killer. That's not really a good use of time given how fast matches are.
if survivors don't go down because of it then what difference does it make? playing against Singularity you can't just ignore emps, against xeno you can't just ignore turrets etc. it's just that with pingtab it's not obvious if the baked in counterplay is helpful or not.(sometimes the auras indeed do nothing, and potentially doing nothing gives people anxiety)

I miss the days where most Doctors were running the imposssible generator builds instead of the Coulrophobia one 😏
map offerings killed it, i feel. you knew you were in for a wholesome experience when both the survivors and the killer took a Game offering
-
I had a blast last night tbagging a Slinger on badham because he used Weave Attunement into my 11 so I could point at him through walls and shake my head
this is the future of dbd. jokes aside, the auras are a bit much I wouldn't mind if the 2v8 reveal mechanic was introduced to 1v4 just so I don't need to use object every game
-
depends on the severity of the sabo; just a couple years ago survivors could abuse certain things like map offerings and vacuum tech to have a corner where it's physically impossible to hook, which meant your only option was to bleed them all to death. sometimes these people aren't sabotage squads but bully squads they aren't in it to win.
I don't believe sabotage is anything like that anymore.
-
I've retroactively met the world's first p100 springtrap but so far I have not seen a single p100 Henry yet. he's such a rare killer to see in the first place.
congrats though! you certainly need a strong mind to endure that killer.

@bm33 said:
Can give him permanent undetectable but I don't see that as being something survivors would see as being worth it to hop off gens over and over to go stand at a camera, especially in a solo q lobby where they can't coordinate. When Hex Plaything is in play survivors don't go out of their way now to remove the one time effect, if they pass a glowing totem that's when they'll stop otherwise they are just more alert to their surroundings. Permanent undetectable I think would just have survivors be more alert the entire match rather than wasting time standing at a camera over and over.
Make doors deactivate for a time after looking through a camera to shut down a teleport option, that would be a better incentive to get survivors to hop off a gen and stare at a camera.
that's the thing though, the doors are there for solo q to communicate. it's how you get everybody on the same page. people don't cleanse their own playthings because "just pay attention" however fiddling with the doors helps everybody pay attention, like a mini Kindred. I may be aware and awesome but my 50 hour Mikaela could use the help I'm sure.
-
I don't wanna step on the toes of those who enjoy axe man, but yeah I was hoping this would be his base play style or at least be supported by an addon.
I'm one of those survs who spend most of the time in cams anyway so I'm biased.
if we do this the cameras definitely need a children's laugh distraction maybe make him see fake auras near it too when a survivor uses it
-
I made a post about this last week joking that I see dead people lol. "alright, one survivor left i know where they ar- OH A NOISE CHASE IT woof" my lizard brain keeps checking it out even though I know nobody is there
-
@ohheyitsbobcat said:
I like to use Bone Clapper on Wraith and excessively bing-bong in chase all match. I usually pair it with the add-on that makes you cloak faster so it makes noise quicker.
More fun for me then the survivors though. In fact, I had a person message me once and tell me where I could shove the bell lol.
I feel that dude; i feel personally responsible for the Legions iri button nerf because I'd tap their power for the global terror radius to stress and confuse survivors. people thought the game was bugging out.
-
anything is better than what we have now tbh nobody is gonna open the menu to read perks especially in a lethal Pursuer society
-
it's one of those builds you need to see ttv replays of.
at the very least it makes survivors incredibly predictable. the "good" people never heal, and the people that are allergic to being injured will be healing in the furthest opposite direction of you. the value of this build kinda comes from interrupting the heal last second and make them waste all that time.
I used to dabble in this on wraith long before wesker came and popularized it.
I don't think its particularly strong, just one of those builds that convince people to switch games. I faced a forumite here with this build basically I felt kinda bad that it had to be them to experience it

They really think Springtrap's issue is "survivors are conserving power by not using cameras" instead of "survivors ignore cameras because they're useless"
They put an asterisk and everything, singled him out during the Livestream as getting a nerf as well as a buff, and this is what is was??

Best way to sum up this patch.
if you pretend you're playing fnaf and not dbd running out of battery can be a genuine concern...but only if somebody else likes to play fnaf lol. being the solo enjoyer means I get free run of the place.
-
I used to play "house" on haddonfield with twins and keep Victor in a bedroom and be a loving mother and neighbour but anybody who kicks my baby gets an angry momma bear tunneling them out
the baby kickers were always Nancy's...
-
happy April fools yall
I won't lie I'm happy about the battery buff, I find myself running the cameras out but tbh id still trade that battery life for a bit of camera range. my problem is wasting time getting an angle.
