I have noticed it takes a little longer to que into a game solo as a Survivor but that is mostly during the evening. Sometimes I have to dodge lobbies because my connection is terrible in some lobbies. I cannot be bothered to lag all over the place.
-
Just because other people hacked Bloodpoints does not mean you should have. That is a lame excuse. You cheated and now you face the consequences. And just because you spent money on the game does not give you entitlement to a free pass.
-
I am sort of in the same boat.
Usually when I play as the Killer, I get three kills. Sometimes four. I also avoid camping and tunneling hardcore because I hate when it happens to me when I play as a Survivor but it turns into a loss of Bloodpoints. When I go against a toxic SWF group, I am lucky to get one kill. The only time I will ever be a little campy is when I know there are players near the person I just hooked because I did not see their aura when BBQ & Chili procked.
When I play as a Survivor, I get stuck with the most incompetent players for the most part. I am usually the one who gets generators done while everyone else is screwing around. Sometimes I get matched with a Killer who will camp and tunnel a single person. And that person is usually me. Sometimes I get fed up with that stupid ######### because it is not enjoyable and I will call them out on it. The response I usually get is that “Git gud” bullshit. What the hell am I supposed to do when the Killer tunnels me for over a minute, downs and hooks me, then waits for me to get unhooked just to tunnel me again? I will never disconnect even though I want to throw my head through a wall because I might as well scrounge a few thousand Bloodpoints.
This game is definitely a double-edged sword from time to time. It ultimately depends on the players. -
It is a great perk in concept but it hardly sticks around to really help because of the poor totems spawns.
I got to Rank 1 without it as a Doctor because I only have it in Tier 1. There are much better choices when it comes to perks. I am not a big fan of Hex perks because they usually get destroyed early on but Lullaby and Devour Hope can be devastating. You could run Haunted Grounds because people are drawn to destroying Hex totems. -
Usually I play as a Killer to grind Bloodpoints but if there were more Bloodpoint perks for Survivors, I would be encouraged to switch. Nice suggestions though.
-
I like to add some salt to my mashed potatoes.
-
Whatever I add to my Spotify favorites. It is mostly Rock, Grunge and Metal music.
-
All I saw was another obnoxious SWF group with a cringy commentary. You are not entitled to a win. You blame the Doctor for taking the game hostage while you and your group could not hit the Overcharge skillchecks and left the remaining generators in one area.
Get over yourself. This is a video game. One loss is not going to kill you. -
Every time I have played the most toxic players were playing as either Nea or Claudette as of late. I even had encountered a toxic Jake and Dwight.
-
When I play as a Killer and load into a match with only three people because someone disconnected as it loaded or someone disconnects early into the match, I will give someone the hatch. The only catch is that they cannot be a Decisive Strike user. That are not entitled to this.
If they do not have enough generators done, I will go to one and let them struggle off and do it. Once they have enough done, I will bring them to the hatch.
-
None.
I play the best I can even if I can smell defeat. I might as well get Bloodpoints for my time. -
@Terrortot I might have to try that out. I have Tier 3 Distressing and Tier 3 TotH on my Wraith so should I just spend the Bloodpoints trying to get BBQ & Chili until I am in a comfortable spot?
-
I like Leatherface’s mori. The hammer bash on the head is pretty brutal.
-
Spirit Fury + Enduring is a really nice combination. It works even better because if someone tries dropping a pallet on you while you are carrying a Survivor, they do not get freed. Sometimes getting Spirit Fury to proc is frustrating because they messed with the hitboxes.
Haunted Grounds seems like a great perk to help out another Hex Perk like Ruin or Devour Hope. Unless you run no Hex Perks beside Hainted Grounds to screw with the Survivors which could be funny.
Rancor seems alright. I do not know why people are saying it is overpowered as the counter is pretty self explanatory - hide and escape as quickly as you can. I have been killed by it in the must unlucky circumstance - the Spirit found me a few seconds before the exit gates were powered. -
Half the time I can never find them if I slug so I try to avoid it if necessary. I only do it if there are two Survivors alive or to slow down groups who rush generators. I do it more with Leatherface because I do not have good Tier 3 Perks on him yet so I run BBQ & Chili, Knockout, Deerstalker, and baby Tier 1 Ruin.
-
I am aware of this now, thank you! 👏🏻HellDescent said:how is that a hack? Myers has addons which will grant him infinite tier 3
-
I have only farmed once and that was when a Survivor messaged me when I was playing as the Wraith. I was very hesitant but I just went with it. I got over 125k Bloodpoints from that so I could not complain.
-
I only due it if they were a nuisance that match.
If I can get toxic Survivors hooked, I do it to but that rarely happens. Toxic SWF groups always beat me and makes me want to mori myself. -
Most of the time I cannot rely on my teammates when I que solo. I am also usually the one who has to go save everyone and being able to heal up and get back into the fray helps.
-
I like the idea because it is just so classic. It definitely would need more fleshing out but the idea where one of the perks is seeing Survivors auras in lockers is great because it makes sense.
What would The Boogeyman look like and what would his ability be? -
I guess you’re Mr. Perfect and never made a mistake in your life?Might_Oakk said:This right here is 99.9% of hacking claims.

This is why real hackers don't get punished because BHVR has to sort through all the ignorant reports.

I double checked - yes, they did with the J. Meyers Memorial add-on.
I also checked the times and at 22 seconds into the match, they got into Tier 2. At 1 minute 38 seconds they got into Tier 3 and their Ruin got ruined immediately after. I just wanted to be sure.
False alarm, I should have checked his add-ons. I am not familiar with Myer’s add-ons because I do not own him but I should have looked them up before pointing the finger.
Edit: He also said something about no-clipping which also lead me to believe he was cheating.
I thought he meant he was walking through walls and stuff. I only saw him like twice the entire match so I was not sure.
I guess it was my terrible team to blame for the whole debacle. I saw a Meg running around in the open. -

There have been times where I have unhooked other Survivors when the coast was clear only for them to run towards the Killer and get downed again. I also run We’ll Make It so they knew I could heal them in time when I try to heal them right after the unhook.Nickenzie said:
This can work as well because I just don't see why killers are getting punished for the survivor's mistake. However how would this work tho? Would you get a invisible exposed status effect that you couldn't see when you successfully unhook a survivor and the killer is within X meters away from the hook?Orion said:@Nickenzie said:
Make farming reduce all categories current BP by 25% and make WGLF only give stacks when it's a safe unhook. That will be enough for the unhooker to think twice before attempting to make a poor play.I prefer to just give the unhooker the Exposed status, if they're hook farming. Killers will, hopefully, deal with it themselves.
If @Orion's idea was implemented then I would be 100% okay with the i-frames since now the unhooker is getting punished for the poor play - not the killer!
Should I be penalized further for my teammates being absolute jackasses? It completely obliterates my Benevolence already when I am not at fault. -
I actually like the idea. If Nea, Kate, Meg, and Feng Min got skins with stockings and bustiers/corsets I would probably buy them. Maybe they could be for a Valentines update or something?
Seeing as winter is not far off, I think skins like parkas and down jackets would make sense. -
If you are playing with Survivors who are too altruistic, why not stay near a hooked Survivor and kill them all off?
-
I like to play all of the ones I have but I do have my top picks because I am better with them.
The Huntress because she is a babe.
Leatherface because he is absolutely terrifying.
The Wraith because he is great at sneaking up to Survivors and creating a lot of paranoia. -
I do a bit of everything as a Survivor - do Generators, save others, destroy totems I see, etc.Visionmaker said:How do you like to play survivor? Do generators? Get chased? Totem and chest hunter? Stealthy? Hook saver? What killers do you like to play?
The Killers I use the most often are the Huntress, the Wraith, and now Leatherface. I occasionally use the Doctor too but I would not use everyone.
-
It would be fun playing as and against the Leprechaun but how the hell would be carry Survivors and hook them?
-
I have only seen two Huntresses since the update on PS4. The first one was pretty bad with the hatchets and the second one was farming Bloodpoints with the three other survivors.Eveline said:I hardly encounter any Huntresses now when I got to the higher ranks, is it because of the update or higher ranks on ps4 don't play her? I remember facing her in so many games when I was lower rank.
I have played the Huntress twice since the update and the hatchets feel awkward at times. I managed to hit people pretty easily because they ran straight and vaulted over obstacles. Not the brightest bunch but I was not in the very high ranks where people can easily counter me. -
No #########. Obviously the Killer is going to stay the whole round assuming they do not rage quit because they could not kill anyone. That still leaves them with a higher Bloodpoint potential each gain especially if they run the necessary perks and offerings for even more Bloodpoints.Wolf74 said:@Dreamnomad said:
Anyone that wishes to continue disputing the disparity between BBQ and WGLF,
I am still waiting on your thoughts on the things I said…
-Killer are the only ones that will for sure play the whole match, no matter what.
-Survivor can get items during matches (and keep them)
-Survivor can use the same items multiple times, while killer lose their stuff every match.
-Killer are way more add on dependent to perform well and therefore need to burn more bloodpoints.
-If survivor would gain equal or more bloodpoints, why should anybody want to play killer (when the game is higly favoring survivor anyway)?
What kind of excuse is that? Sure, Survivors can get new items each game if they choose to do so but it is all based on RNG and surviving. If I open a chest and get a map, am I supposed to be blessed? No because maps are useless. Survivors would also have to run perks that increase their loot luck which is just a waste of a perk slot. I would rather take the Bloodpoint perks and get what I want in the Blood Web.
Of course Survivors can reuse items because they lose it if they die which is bound to happen. If Survivors brought in an item in and they are guaranteed to lose it when they escape, why bring it in the first place or waste time searching chests?
I completely agree but Killers have the advantage when it comes to grinding out Bloodpoints. Survivors are at the disadvantage and that should not be the case. I should not have to switch to a Killer if I am running low on Bloodpoints.
That is by far the silliest question yet. Maybe some players prefer playing the Killer rather than a Survivor? I enjoy both but I should not have to choose one playing style over the other because of a Bloodpoint advantage. Some players are better Killers and vice versa.

I've suggested this once and I'll do it again. No Mither will grant a 100% bonus to the user’s individual bloodpoints if that player escapes
I feel it's more balanced for both sides and could be stacked with the current WGLF. Could also help with lobby wait times for killers by enticing players to play more survivor for more bloodpoints.
Big Nono again.
NM is already a dangerous perk to dabble with balancewise.
It pretty much negates any one shot ability. How do you want to balance those if every other survivor is running NM?
Did you read or think about what you wrote before posting? “No Mither negates any one shot ability.”
It does not matter because any attack can knock you down in one hit. You are always at one shot. You are essentially always exposed. -
I had to look up the status effect because I thought it meant that the Killer could see you. It is very misleading.
-
I love using We’re Gonna Live Forever and I really do like your suggestion.
I agree it is a pain in the ass to get stacks from time to time because you might have a team not getting hooked or taking your unhooks or even a Killer knocks you out of the game first. It would be a great change because there really are no perks for Survivors that reward Bloodpoints compared to Killers. Turning We’re Gonna Live Forever into a Survivor version of Barbeque & Chili would be pretty nice. -
I really like that, great idea!CoolAKn said:Someone talked about this idea on a DBD live stream yesterday. I think the trade-off for using Dead Hard to stun the killer should be where it will cause the user to have the Hindered status effect for 5 seconds, and causes them to be Broken for 60/50/40 seconds OR doubles the Exhaustion time. This way, it is a greater risk/reward that stunning the killer will leave you vulnerable.

I think Self-Care is fine as it is when it comes to healing yourself. It is not too slow and it is not too fast. The medkit efficiency could use a little love though.
As for being in the dream state, I am not sure. A lot of the time I never get a skill check to wake myself up but maybe there should be no skill checks for Self-Care while in the dream state. Maybe? -
If the Killer is looping for more than 2 minutes, they are either an idiot or just bad. Maybe a bit of both.Spiritbx said:No is the r8ght answer here.
Lets take this scenario, obsession loops the killer for like 2-3 minutes with the help
of DS. Finally gets caught. Teammate comes up and dh and they go free.
If the killer ever catches one of these, another survivor comes and dh the killer for another free escape.
Ok now killer is fully aware of what is going on, and so after downing the nexr person he checks the area to see if any survivors are nearby. He finds one.
Oh lool, they ran to a loop spot and now the downed survivor can no mither or get help and heal up by the time the killer catches the person he saw.
All this time 1 or 2 people are on gens, and the gens get done with no progress or hooks made by the killer.
The killer is toyed with and then probably gets harrassed by the toxic survivors in post game chat for being bad despite having no power to ever do anything except hope the survivors mess up.
Sounds like a fun and balanced.time to you?
Your hypothetical situation only works assuming the Killer hit a Survivor and is using Dead Hard or if they are running No Mither as well. If the Killer hit a Survivor and does not pursue them, that is their mistake. And why is the Killer hitting Survivors while bringing one to a hook in the first place? If a Survivor has No Mither as well, that will probably result in them being targeted, like the Obsession. Killers do it now to No Mither users anyways so why not give them some more utility?
Not all Survivors are toxic though and if the Killer is good enough they can get everyone. Organized groups might be a pain in the ass but the game should never be easy.
And yes, I do believe it would be a balanced addition. Especially if Enduring works on the stun.
That is assuming the Dead Hard users get away all the time, which is highly unlikely. Killers can still follow the scratches and see them in the distance. The pursuit is still back on.Sarief said:stun: 2 sec

any way, you can stun killer for 2 second every 8 seconds.
In a world where looping is still up (#########?) it's like having infinite loops on single pallets.
also, if he carries survivor, he's released, which means, no one can get up.this is bullshit
Also exhaustion perks no longer recharge while sprinting so that is another wall preventing it from being spammed. It is a situational perk because you could use it to rescue another Survivor or use it to get to a pallet quicker.
That is like nothing for Arnold but he would teach you how to get there. You would have to build up to it first and do everything with the proper technique otherwise you can hurt yourself.White_Owl said:@remember_me88 said:

I would say having a bigger speed boost to cover more ground, something perhaps similar but just short of a sprint burst might be a better way to go. Right now Dead hard only buys you a best an extra 3-4 seconds
That sounds like an interesting idea but why not just make Sprint Burst a toggle like Dead Hard?
And, no, DH stunning the killer not only makes little sense, it would also be too powerful. There has to be a balance for everything. At least DS has a condition. This change would make it an on demand stun.
The point of choosing Dead Hard over Sprint Burst would be the decision to stun the Killer if you want to help a teammate, whether that is so they do not get hooked or buy time for your teammate to find a safe spot. It could also work to buy yourself some time instead if you choose to be selfish or are the last one alive. This can only be triggered while injured so making the risk worth the reward if you pull it off.
Sprint Burst is great for simply running away and can be used if you are healthy or injured. It can be used to distance yourself further from the Killer unlike Dead Hard. It is suited for a nonagressive play style. If it were a toggle, it can be used when you want to use it. For example, you are working on a Generator and the Killer is coming. You want to get to a safe spot to hide quickly without using your Sprint Burst because your are not spotted yet.
I feel like your last statements are nitpicking. The animation for Dead Hard looks perfect for stunning a Killer if you dash at them. You have your forearm out and it would hit them in the stomach or lower torso. That would hurt anyone. There are also balances to it that I stated previously. If you use it for yourself, you are getting close to the Killer, stunning them, and running away. They can still follow the scratches and probably see you in the distance. If you use it to help a teammate run away, the same conditions apply but it includes the teammate as well. They can still be found and caught if they are not careful. And if you use it to prevent a teammate from being hooked, the same conditions apply.
An excellent counter would be the Enduring perk for the Killer if they have it equipped. If it only works for pallet stuns, that can easily be fixed to apply to all physical stuns. It also boils down to the Killer’s skill as well. If they are not looking around to make sure an injured Survivor is not charging them, than that is their damn fault. If you cannot adapt and get with the program, you are playing the wrong role.

Last thing this game needs is another perk that stuns killers.
The last thing the game needs are more obsession perks. There are a lot, especially when The Spirit is released.
There is only one other perk that stuns Killers, as far as I know, and that is Decisive Strike. I think it is a terrible perk and a waste of a slot.
The Killer even has a perk to nullify the effects of being stunned. I forget if it applies to perk stuns but if it does not, it could be changed to do so. Simply fix for a counter. -

Both somewhat valid points.xxaggieboyxx said:no. would be abused and with 4 people having it, it would be op. also deadhard should have its distance covered increased but not make you invincible because i really hate it when weapons go through things and do nothing(in every game i play not just this)
Some of the other Teachable Perks make no sense for other Survivors and Killers to even have so I feel that is not a valid argument. In fact I think it is just nitpicking.
The other one is more valid, however; the fact it can only be used while injured presents a massive risk to use it in favor of your teammates. Is it worth using Dead Hard to help my teammate? That is a call you have to make because you could be the next one being chased and your Dead Hard is not ready to use.
As for annoying the Killers, I do not see it as an issue unless the Killer is an idiot. If you are not perceptive as a Killer, you are playing the wrong role. A No Mither build with Dead Hard would be annoying, sure, but it takes one hit to incapacitate a Survivor. So if a Killer decides to slug, the No Mither players can just get up. The Killer just needs to be more alert when picking up a Survivor - just like if a nearby Survivor is sitting at a pallet to save their friend or if they have a flashlight. And if the Survivors continuously just Dead Hard the Killer, they are wasting time getting Generators.

we have two killers with chainsaws , why not . But like they said once before the licensed killers are not gonna be happening all that much , they are focused on the original killers right now . this allows them to make a quarterly update and only they can slow themselves down . a licensed killer they have to submit and get approval for , pay for the license , and then show the final product as intended and get approval again before they can release it . That is outside of the development stages of making sure it balanced and working correctly without bugs . This is why you wont see new killers like that except maybe yearly if that at all . Its a long process they have to dedicate time and manpower to in order to satisfy the rights holder before they can try and satisfy the players with it . Time and manpower that could have been spent making 3 or 4 original killers . Plus they would have to recoup the investment in said killer/survivor in a dlc pack much like the way things are now and they have to get a lot more approval for reskinning them and pay fees there as well if they want to offer cosmetics .
Though I like the idea of ghostface , I don't think we will be getting licensed killers anytime soon if at all . There are bigger things they have to tackle first .
It's not just the weapon, the entire character model would be so similar you wouldn't be able to tell the difference from a distance.
Ghostface wears a black cloak whereas Michael Myers wears a dark blue jumpsuit. Their masks are also completely different looking.
Just because they might look a little similar from a far is a extremely silly reason to not add him in the future... possibly.
I would rather see Jason Voorhees before Ghostface though. -
Why not just break the pallet and move on? Continuously letting the Survivor use the pallet is only going to waste your time. They will have no choice but to move on a find a new spot.
It is easy to counter it with some mind games as well. Psyche them out and you can hit them. That usually scares them and they run away which usually just leads them to getting downed. -
I feel you man. I was just in a match earlier and the three other Survivors disconnected on me.
-
David King.
He is just an absolute unit and I enjoy his perks except for No Mither. I am not that good. He is great for racking up Bloodpoints especially because I enjoy going in and saving other Survivors. -
There really is not much to prevent Killers from face camping or camping in general, which is a bit unfortunate. I just buy time and let my teammates take advantaged it.
A perk might work though. I literally just thought of the idea while posting this - they could add a perk called Entity’s Favor for Survivors. Basically the perk applies the blindness effect to killers if they are too close to the Survivor that is hooked assuming they have the perk equipped. The additional ranks would improve the range of the effect.
Hopefully you guys like the idea. It would help prevent camping and tunneling unhooked Survivors as it encourages Killers to go after other Survivors.
