They shouldn't hold a Q&A if they're not gonna answer questions.
If they can't answer some questions, put them on a "cant-answer" list in the description of the stream or somewhere in the forums, before starting the stream.
This Q&A was such a waste of time. They need to hire a new balance lead. Sick of the developers dismissing the experiences of actual people who put thousands of hours in their game and are very good at playing both sides. That guy really had the gall to say Clown is underrated, lmao Clown is so bad. That's what 90% of the player base has been saying for years and he says that we just "don't know how to use him properly." If someone doesn't "learn how to use them properly" after playing them for 500 hours...... I think the player isn't the problem...
I didn't see the Q&A section in the forums, but I am 100% they purposefully ignored some very relevant and important questions just to spite us.
Girls.... learn how to listen to your players and take notes on their ideas and suggestions. Cuz if you don't, you'll lose the few players you've got left.
Clown is so bad. That's what 90% of the player base has been saying for years
Years did you just say? Years? Clown was only released a couple of years ago and literally half of the Dead by Daylight community labelled Clown on his release as a strong killer because at the time they thought he was good at shortening loops and giving loads of map pressure. It was only around a year later or so people started labelling him as a weak killer because we had a bunch of other killers who were stronger (idk about Legion)

I have a big brain, but I'm a killer main.
We stan Meg Mains

I tried it with my friend the other day and I can confirm there is nothing in there. In fact the crying stopped while the mori was performing.

Have you seen that movie scene where he kills that woman in the most disgusting brutal way? I'm not going to go into details but watch all the silent hill movie scenes with PH in it and understandably others will agree with your comment.

Okay I honestly thought that this was just some random 12 year old trying to say ‘furry’ and I was kinda mad, but now that I actually read the topic, this sounds like a really cool theory, and if it was true, that would be even better honestly.
Lmao someone else did the same.
A spirit running around in a furry costume would be iconic

Jake as Fred
Dwight as Shaggy
Claudette as Velma
Meg as Daphne
yeah I can see that working

I think it's a bug because this has happened before where you can't hit their body on the hook and in a later patch they brought it back saying 'fixed an issue where a survivor was unable to be hit on the hook' or something.

Except for bringing in a very iconic and classic and groundbreaking science fiction horror franchise.
also we got 2 chainsaw guys and 2 stalky guys. They can very well make something really cool with a Xenomorph. Oh and acid blood, eggs and tail..
Now that you mention it, I wouldn't mind a xenomorph chapter.
-
I'm not a survivor main, I play both sides and I think Freddy is really boring/disappointing to go against because I don't like his character, so avoid the generalisations please.
-
I give up playing killer too. Not because of bugs, but because of ######### cheaters.
I went against a Nea today who was cheating in the game. I tried to hit her several times but it didn't register, she kept running through walls and midair. It was honestly the worst experience I've had as a killer.
I know it was the only one Nea but I've seen a lot of videos lately on DbD of people cheating on the game and it's making me worried to continue playing killer.
As of now, until EAC has been improved and most of the killer bugs have been fixed (particularly Clown's slowdown bug), I won't be playing as killer.

If you come at this from the perspective of a newer player who relies on stealth and being healthy to survive instead of looping and defensive perks and who doesn't necessarily know all of the nuances of the Killer powers... this tier list actually does make perfect sense.
Take Legion. If Legion gets that first Frenzy hit (which they almost certainly will) stealth suddenly goes out the window, and if the Survivors don't know that Legion will get several easy Frenzy stabs. If the Survivor team don't know to split up, Legion is going to inflict a lot of damage on them in a fairly short amount of time and buy themselves so much time if the Survivor team tries to fully reset before touching a gen again. If the Survivor that Legion goes for a down on isn't good at looping and doesn't know to get in a good spot for when Legion hugs them in Frenzy and cancels... they're going to go down really quickly. Essentially, Legion is a newbie stomper... which is why Legion is S tier on this tier list.
Huntress on the other hand is in the basement of this tier list because understanding her power and how to counter it is incredibly simple. Run, dodge hatchets. Doing so against amazing Huntresses is much easier said than done, but this person is almost certainly not going against amazing Huntresses.
But that's only for newer players though which does make Legion easy to play. What about the veteran players though? Legion against a survivor who knows how to loop is bad, the deep wound effect is already his downfall.
Reading back on your comment, you proved my point. Legion is only good against noob survivors, meaning his downfall is against coordinated strong survivors and the deep wound effect he places.

I didn't mean anything against you here, I apologise if it came across like that. I meant to compliment Fibi, not put you down, so I'm sorry if that was the effect it had. Wasn't the plan, I promise <3
It's okay <3 I just felt like helping the community help, that's all.
My neck was killing me after I finished writing the draft so I didn't really take the time to look back on it.

To be honest, i dont think bhvr cares about their own game at this point
So you getting insta blinded under "0.3" seconds = BHVR not caring about their own game? In that case, Bill Gates didn't care about Microsoft when things went wrong.

I managed to contact a developer on discord and they confirmed it's not intentional and they know about it:

Bubba doesn't discriminate against colour, he steals skin of anyone regardless of who they are.
It certainly isn't racist, however it would come across racist if Jake, Meg and Dwight had their faces on Bubba except Claudette.

Actually you'd be surprised- BHVR isn't that huge. They have, like, 500 employees. Not 500 people for DBD, 500 employees- that's the marketing, PR, HR, devs, devs for other games (they make quite a few mobile games), according to their website they offer free hot meals to all staff so I'd guess catering staff too. In comparison to a lot of other companies BHVR is pretty small.
Oh I didn't know that, thanks for clarifying!
But my point still stands, any company would look respectful and professional if they support any kind of movement regardless of how big or small they are.

Okay, but what is the main reason? Profit or supporting?
Well Behaviour is a huge company and a company supporting pride month makes it look like a respectful professional company. So yes I guess it is for support.
-
Realistically if a killer was truly 'overpowered', no one would have a definitive way of counteracting their power and there would be no way to win against them. However because the word 'overpowered' has become such a subjective thing in Dead by Daylight, it's hard to tell what the community thinks is overpowered or not.
To the main point of the thread, I'd say The Hillbilly isn't overpowered, rather he's just decent when used correctly as he can apply serious map pressure.

whats that never played silent hill
The Seal, previously thought to be the Mark of Samael by Harry Mason because he was deceived by Dahlia Gillespie, is actually the Seal of Metatron; Dahlia reveals this and that it is a symbol closely associated with the Order. As far as the Order is concerned, the Seal is nothing more than a talisman and is of no particular significance.
That is not to say it is worthless, or even powerless for that matter. Its power is derived from the spiritual strength of its user. Had Alessa Gillespie fully completed her task of placing the symbol throughout Silent Hill's Paleville, it is unknown what may have happened, or if that power would have been controllable.
Some believe that the Seal can prevent God's awakening; however, this doesn't seem to be the case, and this has never proven to be true.
(Definitely didn't look at the wikia)

Most of my matches lately have had cheaters in them. :/
Speed hackers, people escaping with 5 gens left by noclipping through the exit doors, and even more wild shenanigans than just that.
Wish they'd start cracking down on the cheating. Going to be awful if all of this cheating is around when crossplay comes.
I think where everyone has been staying at home because of quarantine, hackers have been rising and getting smarter. The developers have stated they are working on the EAC to prevent anymore hackers but I don't know when that will be put in place.

Perk name: Perseverance
Perk Function: Allows you to vault over pallets or windows in the dying state. Has a cool down of 40/30/20 seconds.
-
When I first started I was absolutely terrified of the killers and I didn't know what half the parks were. I was mainly interested in Meg's perks because I was all about the hiding (Quick and Quiet) and the distance (SB and Adrenaline).
I didn't know fast-vaulting into lockers would expose my location but half the time I was playing I had no idea I was using Q&Q and what it's function was.

Not to be rude but if you don't care about the lore why did you bother commenting on this thread at all? That looks so rude oops, just a question though. Plus I wasn't beating myself up about it.
-
Self-Care
I'm aware a lot of people complain about this perk already, but in the red ranks you'd be surprised with how popular it is. Whether I'm playing as killer or solo queue, there will always at least one person using the perk.
Self-care is overrated in the red ranks particularly because people think it's useful to healing instead of having to search for a med-kit or equip a med-kit every game. Admittedly I used to run it a lot but then I tried out Inner Strength and I've since kept Inner Strength in my build.
With the healing speeds nerfed a while back, self-care became detrimental to the team and allowed the killer to secure an easy kill.
-
Initially I thought you were asking if the actual survivors in the game were children/teenagers based off their age in the notion of lore, so to answer that they're at least over the age of 18 (although Nancy is an exception).
However, if we're getting psychological then I guess. The average human doesn't fully mature until the age of 25, meaning that if people are getting angry at you or your play style on a video game it's either A. they're either young children who are very competitive or B. they're teenagers who are still slowly maturing and taking the game seriously. They'll most likely lash out in the post-game chat if they lose because to them it's all about winning.
I wouldn't worry, in a few years they'll fully mature and won't take the game as seriously.

No, killer mains who do that are unsportsmanlike. Not that I can blame them though, killer is harder to play than survivor and I play both sides so it's unbiased for me to say that.
Anyway, how were killer mains relevant? This is about you, your SWF and how you have to rely on crutch perks to outplay killers.

That is a but frustrating, hopefully they can resolve it well though without going back on much more, I think legion is probably in a mroe difficult situation lore wise just with the fact that they have to do it 4 times based on the same group with different perspectives and make sure nothing at all clashes between them rather than the rest of the killers which are independant of eachother and won't affect eachother's lore (oni and spirit aside but still they're so distantly related I don't think it'll be and issue).
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1347406#Comment_1347406
Ah, that's a pity. I have a feeling Zarina and DS won't be for another while at last since they're still relatively new and BHVR will probably wait for them to be purchased more and for a bigger gap before they put their perks in the shrine
In my opinion, I believe the survivors for the next tome will be Meg and Adam, I don't know why, something about those two just seem to fit.

This is exactly exactly exactly what I thought when I read Plague's lore at first, I never got why she was suddenly a killer when she seemed like such a great caring person until her end, maybe she was bitter that her faith failed her but that to me doesn't equate murder? It almost worries me for her lore how they'll go about it while not straying too far from how they portrayed her so far.
Maybe the last prayer she made was to be saved and the entity answered but in return she had to partake in the trials?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1347363#Comment_1347363
Yay! I really don't care about hag idk I just don't like her at all and I can't really pinpoint why but I'd be so excited for Wraith! Was anything mentioned about survivors?
Nothing was mentioned about the survivors unfortunately, I guess they’re still trying to correctly choose which survivors would be the most suitable for the theme of the next tome.
-
@Danu said:
I know we'll get all original characters eventually but who is everyone most excited to learn more about?
For me it'd be Yui, Wraith and Clown!
Apart from maining the first two (definitely no bias there 👀👀), I'd really love to know more stuff that happened in Yui's life and what Wraith witnessed in his someland before be moved. I'm assuming that what happened at the scrapyard drove him mad and made him the killer he is but I'd love that expanded on a bit more maybe because he seemed decent enough, the reason why he murdered his boss in the first place was because he was so mad he had been unwittingly part of a huge amount of murders because of him so it seems odd that he'd suddenly become such a brutal recurrant murderer (practically) himself.
And with clown there's just so much potential there with him.
You’re in luck, apparently there was a leak that said Hag and Wraith were the next tome killers but “it’s still being developed so anything could change”

If moris get nerfed/reworked in terms of balancing then keys should receive the same treatment.
