Solo doesn’t feel very balanced at high ranks. Nope. Solo is near impossible when you’re constantly going against good killers.
Thats BS. If you have good teammates, solo is ok, survivors can still destroy a killer if they're working on gens themselves and get their priorities straight. SWF however, is very tough to face as killer

I'm almost at 9k Iridescent Shards, and was wanting to buy a killer. I play on PS4, and was actually thinking about getting legion because he can slide over pallots and the fact that I've never won against legion.
Who is the best killer for PS4 that I can get?
(If there is a good survivor i could get please recommend!)
Spirit is very strong and easy to use, I recommend Spirit.

how on earth can I counter this? I get that this is an extremely hard thing to land and you need to be very coordinated to pull it off. However taking reference from a game i just played on the suffocation pit two players with flashlights could get into lockers near each and by pulling one out the other has ample time to hop out and save. Sure i could leave them and go for the other two that i might find but then it still leaves two players to do gens. Sorry if this sounds like i am just rambling/ranting.
Its not a "tech" stop calling it that. How to counter it? Find the survivors nearby

It's not about sacrificing fun for the sake of winning - quite the opposite, actually. People who play that way do it because competition is fun. Trying their hardest to win, being challenged, using all the tools they have at their disposal to surpass their opponent(s) is what makes the game enjoyable for them. They're not trying to ruin the fun for everyone else, they're just playing in a way that is fun for them.
If the others in the match have a different attitude and just want to play casually, not care about winning and just make sure everyone has fun, that's naturally going to create tension. But that's equally true of any occasion where multiple people enter a shared experience with conflicting goals.
So playing in a 4 man SWF running meta perks is being competitive and fun to you? I think that was the point of this post

No, it's a literal, blatant, flat out lie.
She's the only killer riddled with bugs, she's heavily reliant on addons, she loses her secondary blink at any given time, without range addons you can't catch up to a survivor holding W.
Want me to provide you with a list of MY knows Nurse issues? I'm a Nurse main, as well by the way.
- She can't blink to the 3rd story of the Hawkins Lab, where that single generator is.
- She can't blink on multiple balconies in the Saloon map.
- She can't blink on top of the Shrine in the Oni Map.
- Grab animations after blinking favor the survivor, so you miss your blink-hit and you get into fatigue.
- After successfully grabbing a survivor you're momentarily stunned as well, meaning you can't walk normally for 2 seconds because the system still registers the slowdown fatigue movement speed loss while you're carrying a survivor, making further hooks a nightmare to get to.
- I already mentioned she loses her secondary blink at any time.
- Servers are heavily against her blinks, meaning you have to hold your blink down for a longer amount of time if you want to even short blink. Short blinking makes you blink in place because the awful servers don't register your blink so soon.
No, she's not "still the best killer in the game."
You can achieve the same amount of kills with Ghostface, Oni, Freddy a lot more easier and at the fraction of the frustration Nurse provides.
Stop kidding yourself and play her at Purple and Red Ranks, I want to see it.
Im rank 1 both killer and survivor... I play both 50/50. I know my killers

On PC perhaps but for us console players I'm not so sure. I'm trying to get to the god Nurse status, but it will take a long time if it will ever happen. And playing survivor I almost never get to play against a really good nurse.
The only things that limit her on console are low sens and bad framerate. One of those problems is getting fixed tuesday. Even though I can still do well with Nurse, when the framerate is ok

Like as I've been playing her sometimes at random her walk will stutter drastically and spastically. Its nothing to do with internet since the other killers move just fine and its always after I blink as her. Also her 2nd blink will stutter and spasm leaving it literally unusable like you cant even make it actually move you. Is it just me having this problem?
Sometimes the blinks dont work which is seriosly annoying but other than that shes great

Yes I main Claudette (Myers and Ghostface). Yes this is a rant.
I'll be Frank. I'm so tired of y'all (BHVR) disrespecting Claudette. Every other survivor has at least ONE good complete outfit in the sea of ugly but Claudette is here still sitting on the struggle bus for a decent skin. I have struggled so hard to put together outfits for my poor baby but y'all really make it impossible. IDK what's worse between y'all incessant need to give her dark tones or dressing her up in these 90s Sisqo dance extra at an after party ass outfits. I would let y'all slide on the 90s style clothes if they were GOOD and FIT HER.
Like I have legitimately given up hope of her getting a yellow sundress or sun dress period. And it sucks because she looks the best is skirts but I guess we're lucky we got that. I know damn well we're never seeing the beautiful wedding dress Claudette model I saw a while back in game. I get why we're never getting the maid cafe outfit that's been floating around because it doesn't match her aesthetic (but neither do 80% of her outfits but I'm not about to get started on that).
I know we're never getting Claudette dressed up as and of the "nerd staples" in reference to Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, hell ANY ######### DND CLASS THAT IS COMPLETELY LEGIT BECAUSE YOU DESIGN YOUR OWN CHARACTERS!
I just...I don't understand why y'all hate Claudette so much. What is it going to take for her to get a complete outfit that matches her personality. She is a quiet mousey girl. Y'all were going in the right direction with the sweater and uniform outfits (the colors just needed to moved around) and then came this clown fiesta of 90s hiphop video clothes out of left field like #########? I thought the horror ended with that belle of ball nonsense where she looked like a prostitute because he makeup was god awful and her hair didnnt fit her frame at all. I had SOME hope with the medice traveler outfit, but know. Here y'all are with the same horrible gown now in gold.
I see why most Claudette mains just wear whatever. Hell she just looks rushed and thrown away so often most of just thinks it's normal to look like we got our asses beat by the inside of the closet.
I just can't anymore.
Claudette has a lot of nice skins...

Stop this blatant lie.
Get real.
Not a lie, she is the best killer still. No other killer ends chases as fast. Of course, she's heavily dependant on the players' skill.

Its not that serious. If you feel like its such an advantage why not use it yourself.

Probably Bill.

Hell yeah. I cant wait to finally nod properly on console. First game after the patch comes out I'll play default Trapper and nod for the whole game.

Nurse is still the best killer... Just pretty bad at traveling the map, especially without addons. Shes very difficult to play though, the best kind of enemies to practise on are the hardest ones.

I just want to get this straight...
Meat Plant, easily one of the most killer-sided maps that is possibly most hated and complained about because of:
- How ridiculously small the map is where 80% of the game is spent in killer’s terror radius and not knowing if the killer is on the same floor as you.
- There are essentially no safe loops or pallets on this map
- Very few vaults
- Gens are in a very awkward place
Yet you decide that the best thing to do for the maps is to make them smaller and remove loops..
Despite one of the issues of doing objective is getting stuck in a 3-gen situation where killer can easily monitor all three gens that are in a close proximity of each other - despite that being the objective for the survivor. This is already an issue in the “big maps that take ages to walk across”.
if you’re going to make these spaces smaller and removing loops then ATLEAST fix the issue of getting hit through a vault, and nerf gen specific perks for killers. ESPECIALLY since gen rushing is being nerfed for survivors again
Meat plant has a ridiculous amount of pallets... Also that safe vault that everyone uses. And the god pallets...

When will this be changed?
Just had a match against a toxic swf, and when I was chasing a survivor, the one beeing chased and the one running behind me would flahslight me at the same time to stun me, this was one of the worst exprience I ever had in the game
Please change it to something where he can still become visibile, but please don't stun him, killer powers shouldn't be determinated based on survivor items
Yes he should, its funny, and harmless.

For me it is coldwind farm. I play on low graphics so I can't see anything when walking inside hayfield.
And coldwind farm is pretty much 50% hay.
The worse part it is litterly the map I am Always getting for a godknown reason.
So What map do you hate?
Badham preschool maps, you get them WAY too often, because theres like 5 different variations

@SmarulKusia said:
I often see Killer Mains make the argument of, “if survivors can have keys! Then killers can have Moris!”
but those two aren’t comparable like at all. Killing survivors is the killers objective - that is a fact, as killer, you’re hoping to kill all the survivors in the game. As survivor, your objective is to do gens.
Keys are highly situational to begin with - you’re not even guaranteed to get to a stage where hatch spawns for the player to use the key. A mori - whilst admittedly needing to be “unlocked”, is far quicker to use within a match than a hatch is. You can get a mori kill before 2 gens are done.
Keys aren’t even commonly ran by survivors - in my hundred of games as survivor, I’ve only escaped using a key probably 5 or so times. As a killer - in my hundreds of games, I’ve only ran into two games where a key was actually used in game.
Moris can be achieved in-game quicker and end the game quicker - they don’t take up a necessary spot in the kit as they come as an offering. With a key, you have to wait till end-game essentially to use the item, which is a part of the game that you’re not even guaranteed to reach - on top of the fact that it takes up an item slot.
these are not comparable at all. I hate seeing the argument that they are when they’re blatantly not
I'd say both are broken and deserve nerfs, keys should be nerfed so only the person that has a key can escape through the hatch (Hatch closes after you use the key) and Moris should work after 2 hooks instead of 1.

Yes, make every totem impossible to find without running dedicated totem hunting builds which allow the killer to freely camp and tunnel you.
"dEdIcAtEd tOtEm hUnTiNg bUIlDs" You only need 1 perk, to easily find all the totems on the map, one of the perks that Tapp has, dont remember the name.

I think this is my favorite comment in post game chat. I've been using NOED on and off because I'm sick of being paired up with all red rank survivors at rank 9 so last game I had 4K with three hooks on all except the girl who went to struggle first time so she only got two hooks. At the end they had only done 1 gen, and their post game comment called me out for using NOED.
Uhm, we never even made it close to end game, you are aware that means I beat you with 3 perks right?
I think most killers use Noed to prevent mindless genrushing. The thing is Noed has a counter. Literally just do the totems. A lot of crutch perk for survivors dont have a counter (Adrenaline, DS, Unbreakable for example) yet theres a lot of sweaty SWFs all running them.

Heya, I know I've recently asked the same question about the spirit so why not make it a series? Nice change of pace isn't it?
So the nurse, I wanna try to learn her but at the start she is too depressing. You don't know the range, you need to predict ect. I might actually start learning her again, but who knows time will tell :/
As for playing against her, she is one of the most enjoyable killers to go against. The feeling of knowing that the nurse knows that you know where she will blink is godly.
Her aesthetic is perfect and the sounds are great, it does get you into the ghostly theme.
What about you? What is your opinion about the nurse? Let me know down below.
Still the best killer in the game. She really suffers when going around the map though, especially without addons.

Chill out NOED gamer. Are afraid that they are going to nerf your favorite perk?
I use Noed very, very rarely, almost never because I usually dont need it. Noed is probably the only reliable (Not even that reliable considering you can break the totems) second chance perk. (Low risk, high reward) Also NOED has a very simple counter, doing totems. Survivors have a lot of second chance perks, and theres no counter to them.
-
Eh, hes decent fun to play, not a really strong killer overall, he's just good in chases
-
@ClickyClicky said:
So Otz set out to prove that NOED is overpowered and more importantly - unfair. As everyone who doesn’t play one side exclusively would tell you.
He decided to play like 90%+ of the EU servers, that being proxy camp, tunnel and NOED.
He was shocked to find that he won game after game after game after game after game. No effort, no skill required, just proxy camp to bait the unhook then tunnel mercilessly with NOED as back up. The survivors all had their “broken” perks, DS, BT etc but it wasn’t enough to escape. He was using Legion too who most people try to claim isn’t a viable killer.
Now you can try to put it on the survivors saying they should “rush gens etc” but you’ve likely got people who just want to unhook their friend so they can enjoy the game, or solos who just want to pip so they NEED the unhook as the game requires you to get it.
This isn’t a shock one bit. I’ve said it many times. Killer takes no skill. Camp, tunnel, NOED and you’ll do really well in most of your games with no effort required.
Now only at the very end did one team manage to escape. He played daft on purpose I think 2/3 made it out, would have been 2 but he purposefully let one go so that would have been a tie. It took a combination of DS and luck offerings for kobes to make it happen. Know why the last team did so well? Because they were a swf, one on the hook told the rest to just rush gens. So one took the sacrifice for the team. That means the gameplay consisted one one person queuing for 7 mins in the lobby just to sit on a hook for 2 mins and be out of the game with a depip. The others just had to hold M1 and hope the gens were done before their friend died. Killer mains in their effort to try and justify winning at any cost say this is fine but we all know its just garbage. Nobody wants to play like that because it’s not fun nor exciting.
I don’t expect anyone here to agree. Forum is mostly full of the most biased killer mains who try to justify anything so long as it favours their side. Otz explains perfectly why NOED is cheap and needs a change. Anyone but the most biased players can see it.
So I guess this is for the dev team. The question is are you willing to be brave enough to shake up the game? Or will fear or change leave it in the state that its in. Killers want more time, survivors want less tunneling. The nature of the game should change based on that.
In b4 “legit strategy” “balanced perk”
Stfu, seriosly. You're obviosly biased, you have commented this same ######### all over the forums. Noed is "unfair and not balanced" Yeah? Just like SWF is. Except that Noed has a counter. Doing totems.

@Demogordon_Ramsay said:
So, in my Survivor games, it feels like the Ruin rework aimed at addressing the fact that it was so heavily used has lost effectiveness, because I have legitimately seen it in almost all of my games now. And it's not like I go against a Billy or an Oni or some other Killer that actually has a chance of getting value out of new Ruin—No, I'm talking Ruin on Ghostface, on Legion, on Deathslinger... ESPECIALLY on Deathslinger, for God knows what reason.
And my question is: Why? Where did the sudden wave of people thinking new Ruin is good come from? Because looking on the forums and other places where the DBD community congregates, I CERTAINLY haven't seen any threads praising the new Ruin at all. Me, personally, I think it's currently the worst Killer Perk in the entire game right now—at least Perks like Monstrous Shrine aren't Hex Perks and/or LITERALLY PREVENT YOU FROM USING GEN REGRESSION PERKS THAT ARE ACTUALLY GOOD.
Ruin 2.0 is genuinely the No Mither of Killers. You waste one of your four measly Perk slots on an effect that hinders you more than it helps you and completely destroys your ability to get usage out of other Perks, in exchange for a theoretically powerful bonus that is made far too situational by the fact that your Perk is ridiculously easy to both identify and counter, to the point where it will only really be useful if your opponent is already under a lot of pressure, at which point you likely don't need that powerful effect anyways. The difference is, Killers can't equip Resilience.
So why? Why do I suddenly see everyone running this F-minus tier Perk now?
I use it because you dont need to kick gens and, well obviosly it regresses the gens faster. And with Surveillance you'll always know if they're going back.

I can't stress enough how easy it is to ruin a survivor's game by remembering their name and then playing extremely toxic the next time you play against them. The survivor can't even check who they're playing against so why is it fair the killer can see them?

Either this person is a hacker, or they've been hacked. Because of the legacy, I'm more inclined to think they're the hacker here, but either is possible.
In response to your title, no legacy is not coming to consoles, and according to the devs will never return. Because of how difficult it was to achieve legacy and how much worse the grind was, they want to preserve how special it was. It's the one cosmetic they promised to remain exclusive.
Thank you

I usually see a lot of camping disucssions complaining, but now I realize why it happens soo often
It works
Why should I go after every single survivor and scare them away from gens?
If I camp a survivor at least 1 or the full team will go for the unhook, and I can turn 1 hook into 3 hooks
Sure you might lose all gens if it's a swf but either way they will probably depip and not get much points since they genrushed me(which to be honest they would do even if I wasn't camping)
Speaking of points, I am at a point where points don't matter to me, and I am more worried about having fun, and camping is relaxing, can give you an easy win , and I don't need to be annoyed by abusive tactics by survivors
Maybe it works with how you're getting kills, (not every game though), but whats guaranteed is that you wont get a lot of bloodpoints.
