Genrush really sucks for new players who get paired against red rank SWF groups. A new player isn't going to know how to apply pressure well enough and might get turned off of the game very quickly.
Expecting an SWF not to genrush is stupid though.

The game is fine how it is. Camping is annoying but it shouldn't EVER be punished during a match (only for ranks and such). If a killer can't stop a loop, then they should just move on to a different survivor.

Are you a salty survivor?
I commented that as a joke. I have noticed that some survivors expect a killer to act as a 5th survivor instead of as a killer, and usually if a killer plays the game normally, there will be those few people that will always complain.
I play both sides, and I'm not a salty killer or survivor. I don't think items make a killer toxic, and I certainly don't shame anyone for running items OR perks in this game. An advantage doesn't equal toxic, but sometimes people can abuse those items and perks to act toxic. It's best to ignore people and just play how you want to play.

I know what you mean otherwise. Some people kind of use it as a tactic. I've heard it from either side. Some people apparently know how to check what killer they're going against for some reason? Maybe that's an old trick, but as an example, killers would switch last second sometimes to avoid certain people like that. If you're a Hag player and somebody in a SWF group knows it and shouts that out to their friends, everybody is going to know to bring flashlights and urban evasions. As for survivors, I see them try to use last second switching in their favor to randomly switch to a character that has a decked out build, for example switching from a default Meg over to a "toxic Nea" with a key or other high tier item.
I would complain about people taking forever but I'm not exactly innocent of it either, although I don't go just waiting out every single timer. I'm usually good about it. But I try to be understanding.
How would they do that??? That's so weird.

I also REALLY hate when survivors unhook me RIGHT in front of the killer. Unless you have Borrowed Time, don't even think about doing this. Tunnelling I have noticed only really happens when you have the worst teammates, and in that case I literally do not show any hate for the killer in that situation. Just sucks how the teammates get away without any damage taken..

If survivors get 2+ gens done before you see any of them, that means you aren't applying enough pressure. Check on the gens constantly.
Since you're new, I recommend trying out The Hillbilly or The Wraith, but if you don't like either that's okay! Try out all of the Killers to find the right one for you. The Huntress is good if you like the idea of throwing stuff to hit survivors.
Something you wanna make sure not to do is facecamp. Once a survivor is on the hook, don't just stare at them until they die. This is how you lose. If you do this, the survivors can get 3-4 gens done and you'll end the game with only one kill.
Also, don't hesitate to quit chasing a slippery survivor! You hurt your chances of winning if you do this. Sometimes a survivor will purposely keep a chase going longer than it should to give their team more time to do gens. Only do this if you think a chase is going on too long. Also, don't just chase a survivor, try to predict where they will be and get your hits in like that (VERY IMPORTANT AS HUNTRESS).

this please. this one time when I played killer I accidentally ended up slugging a whole team and being unable to find three of them (now I use deerstalker for this reason).
i actually was hoping for somebody to be running unbreakable because that match was really boring.

discordance is pretty good on legion. If you don't use it you should use some tracking perks.
Discordance is so good it's insane. Finding 2+ survs working on a gen at the beginning of a match and then using feral frenzy to wound them both is just so fun.

Yeah, we know. Nobody likes getting facecamped, and most killers will also say they don't like facecampers. Facecampers don't win. While they camp, 2 or 3 generators, hell, maybe even ALL of the generators can get done throughout all of that time. I'm not sure, but don't campers depip?
If you're talking about proxy camping, which is when the killer doesn't leave the hooked survivors area and instead patrols around it, then that is easily counterable. Just rush the killer when that happens. I don't speak for all killers but when I used to proxy camp, whenever I would lose the hooked survivor it would be because I was rushed. When I play survivor, I usually run into proxy campers, and the rush strategy usually works.

I usually enjoy survivor because it's very intense.
I don't enjoy survivor right now though because every single game I've played since two days ago has been only leatherfaces. I hate leatherface.

My all-time favorite is The Last Of Us. I've replayed 15 times. It's so good.
Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 7 are also very good.

Leatherface is so f wording annoying. My past 2 games I have had the displeasure of facing Leatherface. All they do is facecamp, blatantly tunnel, and/or spam their power every single second.
I don't understand why people pay MONEY for this killer if all they're gonna do is all of the above.
Now Freddy is actually fun to go up against IMO. He adds extra depth to gameplay.

But if I could have anything I'd want Slenderman. I remember playing (and failing) Slender The Arrival and Eight Pages all the time when I was younger.
Having the classic eight pages map would be so cool.

If you are the last survivor alive and get hooked, regardless of if you've been hooked before you'll be immediately sacrificed.
