BHVR has no respect for their customers. If they were selling any other product, they'd have been sued out of business by now. Because they can hide behind a EULA, they can get away with whatever they want. True pieces of shits like most ego maniacal game devs.

That’s simply not true.
A bad killer cannot accidentally get to rank 1. They’d be accruing too many depips and safety pips in comparison to the occasional pip to ever get to rank 1.
Who said anything at all about "accidentally" getting to rank 1? You in the right thread?

This update is stupid! The previous matching at least was more fair. I never went up against level 1 folks. This update needs to go. Can we at least choose if we can play this new rating or the emblem rating?
DBD has always been like this. Mismatches were worse at "rank reset" but there were plenty of people with little skill who just played a lot and got to red ranks as well which it all it takes. This new system is the same thing, just amplified now and randomly worse.

We have been running smaller tests of the system on select Xbox One regions for the past few weeks, and the results have been encouraging. The rollout on all Xbox One regions is the next step in testing the system on a wider audience. If all goes well, we are planning on rolling out this feature for all platforms in a couple of weeks.
The next phase that you will notice goes live with the upcoming mid-chapter update: We are no longer allowing Killers to switch their character while searching for a match, or once in a lobby (excluding Custom Matches). This will allow the new Matchmaking System to track player skill with each killer individually and match them against more appropriately skilled opponents based on their killer selection.
To put it simply: If you are great with The Oni but you struggle with The Nurse, you will now be playing against stronger survivors when you play The Oni than you do with The Nurse.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
The most obvious thing you will see when the new system is active is that there will be a greater variation of Ranks in a single match. Rank 1s playing Rank 20s? It’s possible, don’t panic when you see this, as Ranks are not a true indicator of a player’s skill and are no longer used for matchmaking.
Additionally, this system comes with a revamped algorithm for matchmaking as a whole. This should improve wait times for finding matches, and we will continue to tweak this part of the system to improve them further over the coming months.
WHY REPLACE RANKS?
Ranks are not a great way of figuring out how good a player is at the game, because it primarily focuses on “How often you play” and not on “How skilled you are when you play”. Based on our matchmaking studies, there are a great deal of “low” ranked players (15-20) who can easily play just as well as “high” ranked players (1-5), but they simply don’t play enough games in a month to increase their rank before they reset on the 13th. And as an inverse, there are Rank 1 -5 players who perform at levels more typical of lower ranks but they play so many games that their rank is higher than expected. This results in unpredictable games: All five players may have the exact same rank but wildly different skill levels in practice, making matches unbalanced.
HOW ARE RATINGS BETTER?
The new Rating system is focused on measuring a player’s skill and predicting how they will perform against a given opponent. This way we can build matches that are more objectively fair for everyone in the game. We have analyzed over 3 million games (at last count) during our tests, and the matchmaking system is proving to be extremely accurate at predicting the outcomes of matches.
By using this new system, we will be able to place players into more balanced matches more often. When a match is unbalanced, the system will know exactly how unbalanced it is and adjust the player Ratings accordingly.
WHY ARE THERE STILL RANKS?
Matchmaking has been and continues to be one of the hottest topics we hear about, and we have been listening! To get this implemented as quickly as possible, we have decided to roll it out independent of a rework of the Rank system. That doesn’t mean we don’t have plans for Ranks, however! We are exploring different ideas like turning them into a monthly activity tracker and reward system, when we are ready, we’ll communicate more about that.
What a long and useless bunch of dribble IMO. BHVR could NEVER figured out how to rank / measure player's skill. NEVER. Every change, failed. Why on earth do you think they have some "new metric" that they've suddenly figured out. THE ONLY difference now is that you can't see just how incompetent they really are now. That is why loads of streamers are jumping ship. You can already tell the logic is broken and not working. There is 0 historical reason to believe BHVR suddenly, "figured it out". It's only going to get worse until they admit they have no idea what they are doing and listen to people who do. When 8-10 5k hour + players say the same thing and are ignored, you know ego''s are the problem. Why most of them don't stream the game actively now.

@SpaceCoconut said:
Posting screenshots showing the ranks of the players in your match is meaningless.
Ranks as you know them are no longer used in matchmaking and will be replaced with something else in the distant future.
Ignore your ranks if you're talking about MMR and matchmaking.
Put your focus on how the match felt first and foremost. Ideally start worrying if nothing feels different after 10+ matches
This entire fan base is insane. BHVR NEVER got ranks right. They have fundamentally shown they have NO IDEA how to measure someone's skill in this game. So why does anyone think they've suddenly figured out some working logic to do it with MMR. MMR and their old ranking were in essence, the same thing. Both were attempting to pair people with oothers of of their own skill. Meanwhile.......Twitch streamers are jumping ship. They are the only reason this game is even remotely relavent and hasnt died off completely. Most of them stopped playing survivor solo, and have switched to killer which is going to be the meta for the players in general, then you'll see the queue times get even worse for killer. The devs and their egos have just trashed this game. PRETTY GOOD JOB SO FAR GUYS!

In the end, it's still a horse.
Don't worry, I don't blame you for wanting the wool over your eyes. The world can be a scary place. It's a natural reaction and I empathize with you.

Umm.. Trying to translate what you're saying is a bit difficult, but I'll give it a go:
You're saying that my complaint against the sound issues is like "beating a dead horse" as the many idioms go... And that all I'm doing by bringing this up amounts to nothing more than that?
If that's the case, then why should I even bother mentioning it? ,,, Hmm... Gimme a moment... BECAUSE IT'S RELEVANT! YOU IGNORANT AND CONDESCENDING MEWLING QUIM!
*cooling down*
They didn't "fire" the sound team and "hire more cosmetic people"... The sound team just hasn't kept up with their job when it comes to engine updates as well because they rely entirely on user feedback. Of which you aren't providing any constructive criticisms that help this post, and instead only hinder it with you biased assumptions.
However, People like me, and hopefully others are making the message clear to them:
FIX THE SOUNDS!
Your comment does nothing but piss me off, and diminish the objective of this post which is to provide constructive criticisms and acknowledgements of the current sound issues from the people of the community.
How can this post become an Idiom if enough people make their voices heard? Here you are not even giving it a chance and judging us for saying it needs to be addressed while stating that its pointless. For this I (surprisingly) Actually thank you... Your callous reply will likely be the kindling this post needs to ignite into a Bonfire they can't ignore... but I'll still hate you for it.
Well damn man, you just forced me to have something in common with BHVR. Now I"M going to ignore you as well, rofl.

In the Oni Chapter update, the engine was updated which (as evidenced by every previous engine update) has broken the sound design of the game again. This is primarily noticeable from the killer players who rely heavily on sound for at least 50% of their ability to hunt down survivors. As it currently stands:
- Survivors footsteps can no longer be heard while in a chase no matter how close they are.
- Survivors Groans and Grunts of pain can only be heard during a chase if they are within 8 meters.
- Some survivors who are in the dying state make no pained sounds at all.
- Breathing sounds from survivors can't be heard at all unless the killer is right on top of them, and only if they had just finished running.
- Stridor no longer increases survivors pained grunts/moans volume if they are running Iron Will, making it pretty much useless when combined with the problem in no.2.
- Walls and floor levels completely obscure Generator noises (repairing, running) unless the killer is within 4 meters of them, or sometimes at weird distances where they can be heard clearly, but take 1 step and suddenly they become silent.
- Fire barrel and Hex totem crackling are either too loud when in the open, or completely silent if hiding behind a wall.
- Killers Footstep and Breathing noises are completely silent until the killer is within 6 meters, and are also nulled by chase music and walls. This makes it extremely difficult to tell when a killer is sneaking up on survivors and even worse when the killer is mind-gaming survivors at a LoS blocking loop since they can't determine which direction the killer is moving. While this makes things a bit more exciting as survivor, it also becomes insanely frustrating when trying to juke or react to a killer.
Overall, the sound design is again busted. The last time this happened however, it felt like the devs had learned their lesson and they mostly fixed it after 2 weeks when the Demogorgon update came out, but here we are now with over a month since the Oni chapter, and not even a mention of attempting to fix these issues in the mid chapter update? Dev's PLEASE!!!! Don't make this a repeat of the Pig update, wherein you took 3 whole months to fix the sound issues! That was an excruciating time to play as either Killer or Survivor (mostly killer though).
Anyone else feel the devs need to fix this asap? Did I get any of this wrong? Or are you happy with the sound design as it currently is?
Flogging a dead horse (alternatively beating a dead horse; or beating a dead dog in some parts of the Anglophone world) is an idiom that means a particular effort is a waste of time as there will be no outcome, such as in the example of flogging a dead horse, which will not cause it to feel pain or anything else.
The fired the sound team and hired more map and cosmetic people, haven't you heard.

The Ghostface should be the next part of this game that has to be revisited. This killer is totally unfun and frustrating to play against, especially for casual players.
There is no real counter to his power, since you can be exposed while literally standing in front of him and staring at him. This killer is the ultimate tunneling machine, since he can easily counter BT and down people right off the hook again.
Most GF players rely on tunneling and slugging.
GF should not be able to hide his red stain and his TR. It benefits the killer way too much without requiring any effort any effort.
The ability to crouch spam should be taken away, since it is abused by almost every GF killer.
I can see the devs' original intention when creating this killer, but sadly these things are abused by killer main players.
Please make facing ghostface enjoyable for survivors.
Don't play him. He is not finished and his code is broken. BHVR doesnt care, working on more important stuff obviously, next topic please.

BHVR have adopted the LOL standard where they change anything that seems to be "the meta" or used to much.
I'm guessing they've never actually played either 1. their own game or 2. LoL.
I don't think they've had an original idea since the first few lines of code were written, let's just be honest.

For Killer i once started a match and i did horrible. I could find any survivors constantly lost them in chase. It wasen't untill one gen was left i realised i had my headphones on backwards so all the sounds were reversed
Do you people have any embarressing stories that made you facepalm for yourself?
I was 2 full blinks away from my ruin totem when I got the sound notification someone was on it.
I spilled a cup of energy drink infused iced coffee and my cute as a button black lab puppy began lapping it up.
Naturally I had to defend my totem.
The puppy had a heart attack and died.
Remember survivors, every time you cleanse a totem, you might be killing an adorable little puppy.
(i'm obviously kidding. please don't sick peta on me)

Replace the word spoon with Rank and there you have BHVR's explanation.
-
If a match last 8 minutes, and you blink 20 times during said match, you'll spend just about or maybe more depending on the add-on's 1/8th of the match fatigued.
Pretty Good Job So Far.

Honestly they probably have already got that ball rolling.
End game chat creates tickets and when things cause them problems and they don't know how to fix them, they hide or remove them from the game.

Like it’s one complaint after another and while I agree the game has some issues that need looking into, I don’t get why so many people refuse to just quit playing despite all the complaints they make.
Ive seen several posts about going on a killer strike, trying to ruin the fun of survivors by using moris or op builds, basically just throwing tantrums over the ruin nerf. Even before the ruin nerf there is non stop complaints and whining and I’m not just talking to killer mains
So my question is, if you hate the game so much and it’s causing you stress and anger, why do you keep playing it?
Nothing you say or do on here or even in the game is going to change anything. There is an average player base of 22k monthly with numbers up to 75k the game continues to grow and new players keep coming. So again, why do you keep playing if you hate so much about this game?
I'm not out of mori's yet.
-
Because this game has friends that play together. Said friends use comms. 75% or more of the games mechanics on the killer side are nullified when players use voice comms in the game.
On the very top tier of play where 4 man SWF's with high skill level and game knowledge play, or even 2 or 3 man swf's, 99% of killers who play the game don't stand a chance. The 1% that do require RNG to be on their side.
This is at the top level of play, and pretty much unilaterally across the board, anyone who is skilled and experienced at the game will agree with that statement. The ones that don't can go watch Marth's video and then come back and chat.
Map design is the biggest one. The Mt. Ormon Resort map still being in the game is a perfect example, but they also are missing any working logic for structure placement.
This isnt a balance philosophy comment either. I'm just answering the OP's question.
-
I'm also guessing they all used tape recorders during their statistics lessons at University. Probably should have went in person and asked a question or 2 if I'm honest.

I would add proper challenges for players to work for, remove paid for cosmetics and make all cosmetics rewards for completing the challenges / rank / devotion etc.
And no, I would not let BHVR come up with the challenges nor have any part, even the slightest bit of feedback on them. Like, literally, they would not even be allowed to stay in Canada while they were developed and implemented. I'd make them leave the country while it was being worked on.

Some comments from the last 8-9 games I've had running my NOED/MORI/CAMP builds.
"you should F** go #########"
"racist remark, racist remark, youre such a worthless human being"
"what kinda a*****e uses an ebony after the first hook. go *** your mother"
"Go **** a donkey"
"no skilled loser has to cheat to win" (my personal favorite, running ebony on t1 myers...)
"camping, tunnelling, noed and a mori. You're protesting the ruin changes aren't you"
What a great state the game is now. I mean i was bothered by the lack of understanding of why ruin is used and the idiotic, at best, choice the devs have made in allocating their resources. Now I just don't think it's a bad thing. I honestly don't care at all about worrying about the fun for survivors, since the devs have that one covered.... It's a huge weight off and the game is actually hella fun not trying to self-balance it on such a granular level. Now, you better be way better than me to escape and if you do, I applaud you and you earned it.
The best part is, playing like this, insures I never leave the green ranks so very few people get away. Ususally when I'm matched with the top 1-2%ers in SWF's.
I think I have like 240 mori's left on leatherface. gonna be fun.

You're welcome, but don't get too comfortable... NOED's about to go meta.
no it won't. The InnerFire + HeadOn + Detective's Hunch combo nerfed NOED to the ground. I can't count the number of red rank games I have as survivor where NOED never even had a chance.
Since I've deranked my killer to green and began my mori spree, Of of the few matches that have reached end game, all the totems were gone and NOED was not active. Even without Inner Strength, the good teams will do the totems for points and to do something to avoid working on a gen right away, or at least until the killer find someone else.
Sorry, Mori and some very unfun tactics are kinda all that's left for Killer's.

Killers have already been using ruin BECAUSE of how BADLY this game is balanced around gen speeds and "map pressure". killers NEEDED the time that ruin bought. and with this current version of ruin? it is garbage. now more than likely by the time you hook 1 person, GARUNTEE, whether they are able to hit greats or not. 1 gen will pop when you hook a survivor with a 2nd gen close to popping if not already popped. AND YOU ONLY HAVE GOTTEN 1 HOOK. Q times for survivors in red ranks was already bad. but now? I firmly believe that the amount of red rank killers that will actually keep playing after this change will only be in the double didgets.
if someone asked me "what is THE WORST thing BHVR could do to this game balance wise?" my answer would be to nerf ruin. and BOY did they not just NERF IT, THEY LEGIONED IT

Whenever I play against GhostFace he's really frustrating because you can look at him and he just runs at you and you can't do anything unless you run away or throw a pallet.
His breaking out of stealth is better than it used to be but I swear whenever I play whatever role it's always working against me.
I think it's not a stretch to say that GhostFace is OP overpowered and he's just unfun to play against. People say oh this killer is worse but I disagree. GhostFace makes it impossible to get away because you can't even see him unless you're looking straight at him. I have a idea which might fix this broken killer. What if we turned GhostFace into a hex totem so that once it's cleansed the killer just disconnects.
This would put an end to camping, tunnelling and hooking survivors that you are playing against, and also slugging it'll counter that too. I can't believe no-one ever thinks outside the box when the answer is staring right at us.
There isn't enough balance and it is disappointing but I have hope that the Devs will right the wrongs they've made and this game will find itself listening to the playerbase for gameplay changes.
Also thank you for putting the new clown outfit on the free pass on the rift. I'm very excited to obliterating survivors off the face of the entity's realm with it.
he is not that strong. He is completely broken and should be removed from the game until they come up with a less idiotic mechanic for him. AKA Pretty Good Job So Far.

@PalletOrWhat said:
There's one thing about DS that I've read a few times now. DS should not work when the killer hooks another survivor. But why? Personally I think DS is a very powerful perk but not OP or something. Imo it is in a good spot. The problem I see with the "hook another survivor to deactive DS" is:
A killer could basically (semi-)camp a survivor. If another survivor tries to help and unhooks him the killer might be able to bring them both down. Hook the fresh survivor to get rid of the DS, then smack the poor first guy back on the hook. Even if BT is involved the unhook would not be always "safe". Even useless against Freddy for example.
Another example: Let's say you put someone on the hook and see a survivor in the distance (thanks to BBQ or another perk). You down the other survivor while the first survivor gets unhooked. Now you hook the sec survivor and see the first guy again. You could even be really dirty and intentionally wait for someone to unhook the first guy so you can hook the second guy and go right back to the first one. You could basically just walk up to him and hook him again. He wouldn't be able to do #########.
I also don't remember the Devs saying that DS is anti-tunnel ONLY. I love this perk. No... not because I'm a bad killer or an entitled survivor main. I love it because it has an amazing effect on the game (at least imo). I could explain why I like this perk but this thread is already long enough lol.
I am playing both sides equally (more or less) on high ranks btw.
you over complicated it greatly.
DS is fine, when it's an actual full on tunnel situation.
The problem, is that survivor's change the meta to make it an offensive perk by becoming aggressive.
Noone on BHVR's testing team is toxic though and they don't play public matches - how would they have every imagined it might be used in that way. cmon, cut em some slack guys. They are new here.

She is unfair, I am usually all for killers getting fun things but the hatchet hit boxes and your servers need to be addressed.
I am tired of dodging right while the huntress clearly throws left, but still hits me.
I am tired of dropping a pallet early and running behind a wall to be downed by a hatchet thrown at the middle of the pallet.
I am tired of being hit behind walls in general.
I don't know what you can do because anything that dresses killers with terrible ping, will make it horrible for killers with good ping, but i at a point where i just want to walk over to a hook and stand there when it is a huntress game.
Am i the only one experiencing this against huntress?
I know after the first hatchet hit if the killer has too high of a ping to the dedicated servers. If it's not playable I just leave the match.
Same with GhostFace. If I get the reveal 10 seconds later when you're not even looking at him or he can stalk through full solid objects I know his ping is too high to play against, and again, I just leave the match.
The game is not playable in those situations as well as many others. By playable, I mean by any rational and logical human's definition aka not BHVR's. Add in any penalty you want to punish other's for your own programming imcompetance BHVR, and I'll still DC every time.

I've watched DBD for a while but only started playing a couple of weeks ago. I think I've picked it up relatively well, it definitely helps that I've watched streamers play a fair amount so I have an idea about tactics, map layouts etc...
The problem I have now is that I've got to Rank 11-12 and all I'm facing are red rank survivors, or at best, purple rank. I'm still trying to learn the game yet I'm being matched against people who have thousands of hours in the game?
I started playing 'The Cannibal' to unlock BBQ and Chilli but I'm now trying to learn other killers. So there's me, Rank 12... I have never thrown a hatchet before with Huntress trying to learn how to do it against a team of red rank survivors? I have 50 hours in the game. Why am I being matched with these people? It's not fun for me and it's not fun for the survivors I'm going up against that are having their time wasted. Not only is it glaringly obvious that I'm going to have to put at least 200-300 hours into the game to get decent loadouts for killer/survivor but I'm going to probably have to spend those 200-300 hours getting annihilated by people who have played the game for years.
Are there any plans for matchmaking to be changed? Or is this a stupid question? Thanks.
The game is garbage anymore BHVR only cares about turning this into Barbie and Ken dress up simulator littered with micro-transactions.
BHVR developers are grossly out of their league, lack the skill-set needed to get this game out of the alpha state, and management there has likely not played a video game in years.
Look at Mr. Cote's game as hag. This is the director of the game, and he literally has not even the basic skills down as killer. Well, I guess if Donald Trump can somehow get elected to leader of the worlds most powerful military, Cote being a game director for DBD shouldn't surprise me all that much because they make about the same amount of sense.

From the very first time I played this game, and went against Doc, I knew it wasn't fun and was super annoying.
He was imagined, planned, developed, tested and released over the course of many months. What horrifying chain of events happened at the studio to get through each phase of that process? Did you guys have to go spend a night in a mental institution, and somehow try to turn that experience, into a video game? I've been in a mental instituion and trust me, I'd rather be there, than face doc for the same amount of time.

Is it just me or have hitboxes gotten progressively worse, I’ve always gotten hit through pallets, hatchets usually never hit me, but it’s to the point of where I’ll be hit when I’m behind the killer. And most killer mains can agree (especially nurses) that the hitboxes are the size of the map. Please tell me it’s not just me.
It's a fundamental flaw in the core mechanics of the game. There are very few actions that a player does such as vault, swing etc. - each one of those actions requires precise timings, and the developers can't figure out how to program the game's netcode and input controls to make it work. Maybe they'll figure it out one day.

I disagree. I started in October and had lots of fun. It wasn’t fun for my teammates when I kept exploding generators, not knowing what skill checks were.
The game becomes unfun when players do their best to be toxic to the opposite side, and you see more and more of this as you rank up.
Sounds like you just played survivor. Try waiting in queue for 30-60 minutes or getting matched up against rank 1 super-toxic 4 man SWF's in one of your first few games as killer.
Then by all means, you saying I disagree might mean something.
-
Why don't you guys focus more on listening to hardcore / high hour players when it comes to how to properly rank a survivor or killer.
You guys have tried internally and failed at each and every front on how to judge a player's ability and here we are with things worse than they've ever been.
Now, one of your top fog whisperers is even on board with how nonsensical this system has become.
How many refunds has steam had to issue and how much has your playerbase already suffered. Has anyone brought this to the attention of the BHVR accountant, and let them know they are losing new players, therefore losing money in the long run because new players get to look at a lobby for 45 minutes to an hour? I have a feeling that's the only way to get a fire lit and get things done.

Do a mistake while looping? Just Dead Hard to the next pallet and prolong the chase for another 30 seconds atleast.
Can't outrun the killer with borrowed time on you? Just Deceisive Strike him.
Get slugged? Just use Unbreakable.
Oh and killer get what? Noed? Good for getting one kill I guess because Killers don't have any pressure when all generators are powered regardless.
Because BHVR doesn't know how to balance things, and they have decended down a deep dark rabbit hole of trying to fine tune microcosmic aspects of the game, which leads to all of the perks you listed, plus Ebony Moris, keys, one shot killers, insta heals, etc. etc.etc.etc. Both sides when specific mechanics are used, are completely broken.
Either devs really don't care on making the game balanced and intended it to be mostly RNG or they are just grossly incompetent.
There are a million of this very same thread on the forums though. Why is there no sticky already?

Frame rate is also problematic.
Even tho it got better during 2019, frame rate as a survivor is still not great , and it plays a big part in the outcome of a match.
Fortunately,Stake Out exists 😄
if you disable vsync and unlock your framerate, it's absurdly stupid. Can't remember the last time I didnt hit a great skillcheck and ruin means nothing.
I can see the dev meeting now. "Sorry, we can't give 2020 framerates in our game, as it would make us have to rework skillchecks too, Next topic?". GG EZ 1990 framerates on that note.

In a Souls game you have proper combat and weapons used by idiots who just widely swing them in massive arches. It's online isn't exactly all that well made either with phantom hits/reach, status effects triggering without taking effect, and lag that can make you get back stabbed from the front.
Dead hard works exactly how it was built to be. A chance to dodge a hit while gaining a bit of distance. You just gotta relearn the timings.
"during the dash, you avoid damage" - from the perk, Dead Hard, in the game Dead by Daylight, "developed" by BHVR Interactive.
...get's hit during the dash and goes down.
Yeah, works just like they planned..right......it's all timings..right...
gtfo here.

I've tried playing 5 diff matches bringing a mori because I'm in the mood for a good old kill, and this is the result everytime. I hook 1 person, and then this happens... Is it a bug, or what?(PS4) If not, grow the hell up and stop quitting. I don't quit when you bring keys EVERY match. I'm tired of this survivor sided bs. They don't like the killer, they quit. They don't like the map, they quit. You bring a Mori, they quit. You start getting the upper hand because your a better player, they quit. Then they come here and whine until said killer gets beat down with the nerf bat because they simply got outplayed and it isn't fair to them. I'm sorry, but after tonight, I think I've lost all enjoyment in playing this game as a killer until we start getting a lil more love and respect. And surv mains, sharpen your claws and attack me all your want, but there's plenty more that feel the same and are hanging up there killing gloves. Without us killers, there is no game to play, so always keep that in mind. This is a damn shame. I love a good, competitive game, but playing killer now is like trying to juggle bowling balls while someone kicks you in the bean bag.
I have a hard limit as a survivor of 2 mori games a day. Those are my gift to you. It's not that I don't like being camped and tunneled right away, it's that I wait in queue for 5 mins to be matched with rank 20 teamies, going against a rank 1 NOED/RUIN/EBONY spirit is just not anything even close to fun.
I've already got 2 or 3 walking mori's (aka, rank 20 team mates) playing against your rank 1 killer. You really think I'm gonna stick around for a 1v1 or in reality, me versus a killer who has 3 other teammates on his/her side?

Yes it was sort of sarcastic because Nintendo refusal to move forward with online has resulted in the unintended side effect of making the game a little bit less toxic.
Also, saying that Switch makes games look ugly is untrue. There are plenty of games that look wonderful on Switch like BOTW. Plus the console is portable which is great for a college student like me. There can be some FPS issues on Switch but that's on BHVRs part not on the Switch.
It was just a joke bud, I wasn't saying anything bad about the switch.
I was simply saying that compared to PC, it's complete and total garbage. But who in their right mind would compare a beta mobile version of a game to a nearly beta version of a PC game. That's just crazy.
(PS - The only serious part of this post, is this: Actions in game are far, far more toxic than any words, to all but children under 12)

No toxic post game chat!
Since Nintendo is stuck 10 years ago in terms of online we don't have any way of messaging other people on the console. I used to play on Xbox and you would get loads of hate messages, but with the Switch that's a thing of the past. Salty survivors and killers alike just have to suck it up when they get upset.
Thanks Nintendo!
Yes. Playing at 300% reduced scaling of an already low resolution with textures and shading from 1999 at a migraine inducing framerate, as well as having no mouse or keyboard support is definitely a worthy trade off of not having chat.
.........
I'm scared because after reading that I'm not sure if it was sarcastic or not, and more worryingly, I can't remember if I wanted it to be sarcastic or not. help.

"You're getting really heated about this." - save the trashtalk please.
"What is it about getting better at a game that seems so impossible to you?" - Having Life outside of game. If you don't understand what that means, I really can't help here.
"Nobody has to pour ungodly amounts of hours into something just to improve. You're creating a strawman" - thanks for the illustration of what strawman is. Nowhere I claimed that someone has to pour "ungodly amounts of hours". I do not have any hours I'm willing to pour in a game I don't enjoy. None. It's that simple. And the reason I don't enjoy it is due to broken matchmaking. I did enjoy it when it was working. In fact, bought all characters and even the pass.
That moment when someone says save the trash-talk, then immediately proceeds to trash talk.

I'd go with hag or trapper and have them trap my room so I could finally masterbate in peace.

Is it me ...or why? They put the RBT on you come back when you are rescued and tunnel you right back down or go get you at the jigsaw box.
It seems unnecessary when playing the pig. You already gave the survivor a new priority. Why not chase someone else?
Most killers rely on finding survivor's by returning to the hook. It's not just pig.
Why the hell would any killer run across an oversized map at 110% speed when they know for a fact, at least 1 survivor will come for the save. It's a sure thing and when you're mediocre as a killer, have some tunneling based rift challenge, or just don't give a rat's ass, why the hell would they care about some imaginary rule that was made up by butt hurt people to counter the shortcomings in the game itself?

Quality Assurance (QA) is defined as an activity to ensure that an organization is providing the best possible product or service to customers. QA focuses on improving the processes to deliver Quality Products to the customer. An organization has to ensure, that processes are efficient and effective as per the quality standards defined for software products. Quality Assurance is popularly known as QA Testing
By any respectable measurement, this game is beta/early beta.
Imagine driving down the highway at 60 and all of a sudden your car burst into flames, and you have no choice but to unbuckle and leap out . Then imagine a cop writing you a ticket for not wearing your seat belt. The stupidity is out of this world.

The survivor's job is to do generators, avoid the killer and escape.
A killer's job is to catch the survivor's before they escape.
It's really that simple.
Stop making up phrases for like tunneling and gen rushing. It happens because the devs don't know how to score or rank people and it's led to everyone blaming the other side for imaginary rules. Focus your frustration for a shortfall in the game where it belongs:
BHVR.

Locked characters cost 9000 shards which is understandable but why does one full outfit for one character cost 21000+ shards? A simple skin costs more then the character itself which doesn't make any sense to me, it's just a skin, it shouldn't even be worth anything. I think a full outfit should cost 9000 shards or less.
Realistically, nobody would waste 21000+ shards on one skin/outfit unless they're desperate or have got nothing better to spend it on...
The shards cost so much because people would rather play dress up doll with their video games rather than have actual content.
No, skins are not content. They are a money grab that Fortnite and a few other titles have had overwhelming success with and BHVR is simply doing what is a good business decision.
If you give any real amount of money to a developer for cosmetics, you are part of the problem. Seeing as how your complaining about the cost of your barbie and ken outfits, thank yourself.
