Why are players getting banned for a bug that the devs still have not patched yet - it's been in the game for a while and even with this information - the addons are not even disabled. Why should players who may or may not intentionally use this bug or use addons that they don't know can cause a bug because not every player is going to be on the forums. Lately a lot of survivors have been sabotaging hooks. As a survivor, you are supposed to hide, not run around going from hook to hook like they are collectibles. They like to leave the hooks at 99% then sabotage when someone is on the killer's shoulders. This basically gives them a free escape and is worse than DS or MoM because it doesn't take skill or perk. I think PGTW is a very good perk, it's great at slowing progression on gens but sometimes the 30 second timer just isn't enough especially when you're playing a killer without high mobility like Trapper or Plague. So I've got two ideas to make the perk better. 1. Increase the timer by tiers so 30 seconds at tier one, 45 seconds at tier 2 and 60 seconds at tier 3. When DBD was released, there was a "true to the culture" type feel for it. It incorporated a lot of classic horror movie elements and memes. Meathooks, the chase, chase music etc. Early on, it seemed as if this was going to be the core path of the game as it evolved. What happened? Since NM players only have one hit till down, and no one slugs them, I think it's agreeable it's one of the worst perks in the game. I've been thinking, and in my opinion, I think I found a simple, and effective solution to balance it. Idk how well this has been discussed but I think a good anti camping measure would be if killer within x range of hooked surviors all other survivors get x% bonus speed for repairing gens etc with the % increasing based on how long the killer face camps the hooked survior. This perk is very outdated and nowadays sees no use (except from Adept Doctors) because it mostly works against flashlights (which have been seriously nerfed since the perk appeared in the game) since the other iteams are generally used far from the killer, and Franklin's Demise achieves the same goal but better, since it also counters insta-heals. If you are being camped in a very close proximity points from the killer will be given directly to the hooked/camped survivor as compensation for being unfair and desperate for the kill. They’re plentiful around the map with a really loud water trickle noise. Unlike boxes, you are not on a timer to die. You are also free to leave the map without curing yourself. Plague only has access to corrupt auras. You get free full heals courtesy of the killer while the killer doesn’t get much from it to truly be worth that price. If the mend time combo is considered an exploit, then Leigon needs to be buffed to compensate. Leigon is already one of the weakest killers and there is no need to cripple him further. Survivors are already gen-rushing in under 3 to 5 minutes. With the Decisive Strike changes, I had hoped we would get some changes to killer counterparts. Moris are simply very unfun for both sides. I propose: Ebony Moris be removed from the game and Ivory Moris become ultra rare in its place. The Mori can only be activated after each survivor is hooked at least once.
