Aftercare is a really nice perk in solo Q. For me its furative chase.
Yeah it is a nice perk I agree. But the effect that your aura reading ability is going to reset when you are hooked is pretty stupid I think. Remove this mechanic and it becomes an amazing perk for Solo Q

I've been seeing a lot of discussions about the game and how it's getting a bit crazy in dbd so I thought I could bring a little bit of a different topic to help with all the gloomy stuff that's being talked about.
Star Wars with Luke Skywalker, Han and Leia as Survivors and Darth Vader as Killer. I would love it because Vader as Killer is something that I can well imagine with his catchy theme as chase music and his breathing sounds that are similar to those from Pyramid Head. Also he could do something with the Force as Power. This would be so cool but the chances equals zero..

Since Nemesis is a lot more like Lisa Trevor feeling than Nemesis I would say it is fair to suggest a Lisa Trevor skin for Mr. Sis. Obviously would need some serious animation, sound, and model changing but with actual effort it should be pretty easy. Just have the tentacle come out of the body like the first picture shown, and change her model to what you see, and obviously the animations. You'd need to do probably most of the stuff with that. Oh and of course sounds which is easy.
but this looks a lot like Blight. In terms of figure, the Skin would fit more on Blight than on Nemesis. And the first picture looks a bit like the Halloween blighted Skin for Blight.

Personally, I never use DH so I would like to know what perks people who do would replace instead.
probably Sprint Burst because it has kinda the same effect, but SB gives you more distance. The Downside is just that you need to manage your exhaustion properly.

That’s definitely Felix in the teaser. But, I don’t think there’s any relevance for it being him. They probably just wanted to include an existing survivor to show both worlds colliding.
Okay, one last thing :)
You can see in the Teaser that when the Survivor is hooked up, a badge from the Umbrella company falls on the ground. Why should Felix have this badge ?
But I think we will just need to wait.

The scream is Felix's scream. If you put them side by side it's the same. Its like how David was in the legion trailer instead of Jeff lol. It's also not the official teaser for the RE Chapter, I expect the real Teaser to show off more.
Okay you got a point :D

I think we'll need to wait :)

The voice actor could "spoil" the surprise who the survivor is. So better use a placeholder.
True. But still if it is the voice of Felix, I don't think it is Felix in the Teaser, its somebody else with Felix voice :)
-
If we could mix up Felix and Tapp, we would have Leon

The Scream? That was Felix lol.
The only other voices I heard were the groans of what I assume were zombies?
I don't think it was Felix, it was some other guy. Maybe Chris Redfield.
And why should Felix be in this Teaser ? He isn't Part of RE. He has nothing to do there.
-
I understand what you mean, but I dont think it will be Ada. In the Teaser it is clearly a Men who is hooked so I think it will be Leon S. Kennedy or Chris Redfield maybe. I didn't even played one of the RE Games. I just saw them on Let's Plays for example and I don't even know if Chris Redfield is a playable Character and realistic. But I think it will be a Men. I'm more interested who the Killer will be. Mr. X was my first thought, my next was Nemesis but wouldn't it be funny or cool if its Birkin from RE2 ?
-
It didn't do all the challenges, maybe in the next Rift.. but yea I think you nedd to grind a lot. But it isn't too bad in my opinion. My problem is more that the challenges forces you many times to play like an ass. If you want to do some things in one match or you need to do it in one match, you need to play like an completely ######### for it and sometimes you'll ruin the match for your mates, the Killer or the Survivors. But I don't have an Idea how to do the challenges better either.
-
I think I like Felix the most. He was in the first DLC that came new into the game for me. I like his Perks and his cosmetics and he is German like me :D After Felix probably David but I don't know why, he is cool and he was the first Survivor I mained.. I think thats the Reason
-
I play him a bit, he is really cool and fun to play and play against in my opinion. But I don't know any issues with him (but I don't play for a long time either). And like you, I see him not very often as a Surv. I dont know why but I think he is fun and easy to learn, but hard to master.

As a spirit main I think her biggest problem is just overall lack of counter play in chases. You don't know when she's using her power, you don't know where she is, and if she has good addons and stridor you're just dead.
Yes this is what I mean, I can understand when you say "use Iron Will" because first its just a good perk and second its kinda a little counterplay. But I had the experience that if you are playing against a good Spirit you can't really chase against her. She needs just you breath and knows where you are. For me as a Survivor it feels very unfair. I mean you can do something to counterplay almost every Killer Power. You can watch out for Traps, Juke the Hatchets or you just don't heal or wash yourself (I mean Legion and Plague). But when you're chased by a Spirit, there is nothing that you can do to dogde her Phase completely.

You can't hear the whoosh sound in her terror radius.
To be visible all the time? So you don't want her to have a power?
If you're not sure if shes phasing or just standing there watching you break line of sight. Walk away don't run.
Okay this with the terror radius I didn't know, good to know :P. The disapearring thing was meant to a animation when she walks. Sometimes she gets invisible for a really short time. It's irritating in my opinion. I didn't meant her power.
And this break line of sight is a good tip, I will try it. Thanks

That shouldn't be a problem still. Are you running the T-L like that? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtUa0F6FUss&ab_channel=Cru5h
Not like this, but so similar. But that helped me :D Thank you I'll save the video for later to watch more of it. But for me personally its still irritating when the killer is gone for a second. Maybe it would be better if the red thingie (I still dont know what its called) would still be visible.
-
@Mercês said:
I don't have a problem with spirit. She's very slow so you can easily loop her around any structure without problems like you do with every other killer. She can't disappear instantly so I don't see why you have problem on T-L with her. If you see that she's standing still for 1s you just abandon the T-L/start to walk for other place. Spirit can't fake if you break LoS with her and after that start walking. She will need to use her power in that scenario and that's how you know she's phasing, so you need to keep breaking LoS and forcing her to waste her power. That doesn't work if you're injured and don't have Iron Will tho, in that scenario you're pretty f* and you should've countered her by spending the most time without getting hit as possible.
I think you got me wrong, or maybe I explained it to bad. But I meant that she dislocates a little in her normal running animation, twists and turns and sometimes just disappears for a short time. So briefly becomes invisible. It has nothing to do with her ability, it's just built into her animations I think

First of all, without an ULTRA RARE add on, she can't see blood, second, if you vault into a spirit you deserve to die, third, scratch marks aren't precise, fourth, you can crouch with iron will, muting yourself even if she has stridor. She is unbalanced, but you have absolutely no clue how to play against her, and that's why you always die.
Then tell my how to play against her, that would be more helpful. And okay I didn't know this with the ULTRA RARE add on.

@Awakey said:
Just because looping doesn't work doesn't mean she's OP.

You cant change the map since it actually looks like this in the silent hill game.
I know about the problem, you cannot change a licensed map. But then maybe the school's design just isn't suitable for Dead by Daylight. (And again, it's all just my opinion, totally okay if you have a different opinion). I don't know anything about Silent Hill at all, but aren't there perhaps other places in this series that could have been better implemented?

It's honestly fine. The stairs are at the corners of the map not too hard to remember.
I love Midwich as a survivor. As a killer, it depends on which one you are playing. Certain maps favor certain killers and this one is no exception.
I CAN remember that the stairs are on the corners, the problem is the way to get there. I think it's made as laborious as possible for you to get from A to B. For example, a survivor is on the hook in the middle. And you yourself are on the second floor. So you first have to go to one of these stairs, THEN to one of the two exits and unhook the survivor. If nobody is around, the survivor will happily be in the second phase until I get there. At least I have unbelievable orientation problems and just can't handle the design at all. Apparently I'm not alone there either.

Be interesting to play Midwich completely opened up. There are a few breakable walls in the corners that open up additional routes to pass between floors, but it’s up to the killer to destroy them.
Maybs this blueprint will help you navigate the school better.

Maybe you could make this better if the wheelchair is more like.. a hook.. like the cages from Pyramid Head. But then you need a third skill. or you remove the second and do someting else (sorry when my english is too bad... I'm originally from germany and dont know some.. or many things in this language. Intro: This is my attempt at an Outlast killer concept, A while back I had a poll where I asked people which killer from Outlast they would've liked to see, and the majority wanted Richard Trager, so I chose Richard Trager. He is an Iconic character from the Outlast Franchise, this is my take on how he would look like if he was to ever come into DBD without further ado lets begin.
Lore: Once the head of the of Buisness development and executive of Research development for the Murkoff Corporation at Mount Massive Asylum. Richard Trager was a cheerful and carefree and hard working man, a friend to some for those at Mount Massive he viewed those he worked with as team players. However when he met Michelle Haas, he forcefully " Did it with her" ( Cannot say what happens here due to Forums rules but I hope you get the picture) she became pregnant and waas forcefully silent about the whole affair or else she would be fired or be forced and abortion, she wanted neither and then remained silent. However she called for the help of two investigators through an email in hopes Trager would be fired and her job would be safe. Through this Trager broke into a voilent rage stabbing her in the stomach and nearly killing her. Thankfully he was detained and was a forced test subject for the Morphgenic engine in which pushed his sanity beyond any return, however he improvised himself as a surgeon and began butchering staff members of Mount Massive to cut corners. But one day while upducting a young field reporter, the man escaped forcing Trager to chase after him and kill him. Unfortunatly Richard was caught between an elevated and a floor of the asylum squishing him with its heavy wait and fractuing his ribs with inside, but before he faded to black a mysterious fog swirled his vision and took him to a new place. A place where his deranged experimentation's and crazed desires can continue forever more.
Height: Average
Terror Raidus: 24 m
Speed: 4.2 m/s
Difficulty: Hard
Killer: The Surgeon/ Richard Trager. A Insane killer, able to spy and torture survivors in such brutal ways. His power Surgeon's Work gives him the power conduct experiments and inflict pain upon his subjects and learn of their location. His persoanl perks Doctors orders, Procedure, and No one likes a quitter, allow him use the very map against the survivors, and learn of their location
Power: Surgeons work: Through out his time Trager has learned the procedures, surgeries, and tests conducted upon the patients of Mount Massive, his growth to see the possibility of human subjects now drives him to commit unspeakable acts of inhumanity. When a survivor is put into the dying state Trager can put the survivor in a wheel chair in which are scattered across the map. Once in the wheelchair he begins his experimentation. Trager will then carve up the survivor breaking them as they endure suffering and receive tiers up to a maximum of III. He may quit the experimentation if he wishes and leave the survivor as is.
Secondary power by holding m2 Trager can be able to see far out into the distance, and stalk survivors for 10 seconds once they've been fully stalked their aura is revealed to Trager for 30 seconds and heartbeats of survivors at least 4 meters away from a wheel chair are admitted
Tier 1: The survivor suffers from the mangled, hemorrhage, and exhausted status effect for 30 seconds one taken off the chair, grunts of pain are moderately more audible, and they suffer from the deranged status effect. Tier last for 90 seconds
tier 2: The survivor suffers from the mangled, hemorrhage, and exhausted status effect for 40 seconds, survivors grunts of pain are considerably more audible, and they suffer from the deranged Status effect. Tier last for 90 seconds
Tier 3: The survivor suffers from the broken , and exhausted status effect for 40 seconds, survivors grunts of pain are Tremendously more audible, and they tremendously suffer from the deranged Status effect. Tier last for 90 seconds
Deranged Status effect: Trauma and fear affects the mind greatly that is excluisivly available to The Surgeon, survivors who suffer from the deranged status effect has their progress speed reduced for working on generators, healing, searching, and cleansing.
"Well, money becomes a matter of faith. And that's what I'm here for. To make you believe."- Richard Trager
Perks:
Doctors orders: Your quiet about your approach. The next time you break a pallet or breakable wall, you gain the undetectable status effect for 15/20/25 seconds and noise caused by breaking a pallet or breakable wall is reduced by 50/75/100%. Perk has a cool down of 60/50/40 seconds.
" Let me... Sell you... THE DREAM!" - Richard Trager
Procedure: Unlocks potential in ones aura reading abilities when in a chase with a survivor, they emit a radius up to 8/12/16 meters, auras of vaults, pallets, and breakable walls are highlighted to you for 30/35/40 seconds
" Hold up there buddy, I'll be right with you". - Richard Trager
No one likes a quitter: Your rage for others escape fuels you. When you lose a survivor in a chase the perks activates. Auras of all injured survivor are revealed to you for 3/4/5 seconds, perk can only be activated every 60/50/40 seconds
"(Bad word)! (Bad word)! REALLY? Your gonna walk on me? IF there is one thing I cannot Godamned stand is a quitter, its a quitter! Come on! ." - Richard Trager
Conclusion: Again this is my take on the character and what I personalty think how he would play out if he were to ever come into Dead By Daylight. I am more than welcome to some criticism and this took me a while to make. I would love to hear your opinions and some feedback for the idea
Status update:Anyway here is a short status update, I've been a bit worn out from the majority of work I've put into not only the fan made chapters but my other writing projects, but tomorrow I have a big announcement to make for an upcoming writing project I'm close to finishing. So I'll see you then when that happens
Just said it to you but here again :) I think the skill with the Wheelchair takes too much time, down someone, bring him to the next wheelchair and then the experiments, which takes a bit of time too... I think that experiented Survivors could to one or two Gens meanwhile.. but everything else is good

I don't think so either but Miles could be the survivor, but it could work. But in game lore there have been many killers who survived death and brought to the entity, Spirit, Oni, Plague, and Deathslinger are prime examples of that, all of them had near death experiences and almost died or did die but were brought back into the realm of the entity, literally Pig/ Amanda Young was killed in the Movie and yet we have her as a killer, so I guess if The entity can save what are to be killers from death than I think Trager could work I have a killer concept for the guy
I think I will do an concept for Frank Manera because I've got an little Idea with him

Okay, that's cool, but I think that being able to use the wheelchair takes a little too much time for it to be really worth using. So down a survivor, run to the next wheelchair and only then be able to use the ability, which also takes a while ... I as a survivor player think that most experienced survivors have managed one or two generators by then. But I don't know how to do it better either.

Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to spoil the 2nd game I jsut assumed you played it already, anyway yeah they could add anyone but I just followed the logic of who was the most memorable Villian from the franchise and for me it was Trager, and I think so for many others.
I understand what you meant, I just wanted to say that according to your logic, Miles can't be a survivor because he's dead, Trager shouldn't actually be a killer either. But yes Trager is the character you remember, I think since Waylon never met Trager, Miles should be the survivor because he's the main character and because he has a connection to Trager. But we could also say that Miles AND Waylon should be survivors, something like that already happened in the Stranger Things Chapter with Nancy and Steve. Then we have Trager Miles and Waylon in the chapter. Which is unlikely but would of course also be cool, would be two killers, let's say Trager and manera (I think you can do more with Manera than with the groom, so Manera) but I don't think something like that would come.
-
@Dabihwow said:
I would say Richard Trager due to the fact that he is arguably one of the most iconic character, and most memorable villains in Outlast, plus he tends to be the main marketing for the series, with him being on the xbox menu store, the Outlast Trinity cover and more. He has had more appearances for the game then most of the other villains with the side exception of the Groom. Waylon should be the survivor due to the fact he technically is the only main character to survive in the Outlast series ( Besides Blake Langerman from Outlast 2 but if he were to return in the series he will probably be a demented killer like the others). Anyway I would be down for an Outlast Chapter
Pls dont Spoiler Outlast 2, didnt play yet :). But we have to see the fact that Richard Trager is dead too, as are the Groom and Walker. So I think it could be Miles as a survivor too :) Thats not an argument for me.
BUT if we go by your logic, the Killer has to be Frank manera, the cannibal from the DLC. Hes officially not dead, it is only assumed that he was killed by the military. Another possibility would be the Walrider.. but he isnt interesting enough for me or i dont like him like the other charakters in the game.
So i would say the Killer and Survivor can be anyone in the Game, dead or alive.

Another noed complaint. Literally not op at all. Do bones. Bruv. Cleanse totems. Get that 1k blood point. Do the bones. Love to also remind you, survivors goal is to escape. Just because you did gens doesn't mean you won. It means youre in phase 2 of the plan.

1.) There are so many bugs and problems it will take the devs a VERY long time to fix them all. Also dev team is really small.
2.) New match making is not on at the moment. They turned it off not long after they turned it on.
3.) Camping and tunneling is a strategy and the devs have said so.
4.) You can destroy all 5 totems before all the gens get done. Then poof no noed. Perks to use detectives hunch or small game.
Got it, I'm sorry I don't know the development team and the matchmaking system. But I don't think camping and tunneling are strats ... I mean, if the devs said that, it won't change much, it still kills the fun in the game but well. I don't want to say that noed in itself is op. It's just very frustrating. Especially when a killer gets you who hasn't got anything done for the whole round.

that might work siren head could make noise for example hatch or someone injured
That would be an idea but I think for the Surv it would be too obvious if you perceive the hatch with the terroradius at the same time, especially if the terroradius together with the hatch is getting louder. But the idea is actually good.
