I think we should change the game to reduce tunneling, but I think it needs to be more of a focus on rewarding hooking fresh survivors over punishing tunneling. Tonight I was thinking about anti-tunnel mechanics and what could help dissuade killers from tunneling, without punishing them the way the 9.2.0 PTB did. I think survivors are generally stronger than the killer, and the anti-tunnel changes certainly nerfed killers. I've been playing since 2018, and I've seen patterns come and go in DBD. This video, while long, sums up my thoughts pretty well. Doomer? Perhaps, but it ultimately says what I've been thinking for a long time. I was playing Trapper and I thought he wasn't very strong because he has to take time to place his traps and therefore use his power, while all the other killers can use their powers from the start of the game. Similar to the Cenobite or the Clown; I want a killer which applies the "hindered" status effect to survivors. I imagine a killer power which is similar to that of 'Moira' from Overwatch 2. I have quite a silly name but it gets cut off because it has a % symbol in it. My name on Steam is "2% Milf Drinker" but in game it is now always just "2". Unlike the last Milestone, the current one (which ends today) was almost impossible to complete without playing daily. I only finished one category completely and I didn't play less than last time. I didn't even make it to step 5 in 2 killer categories, even though I play both sides almost equally (let's say 60 % survivor to 40 % killer). I feel like there so many options for comic book characters to become either killers or survivors.
