Im a killer main so excuse my lack of knowledge on survivor. I crouch teched a ttv blight main a few times and once he got me down, he slugged me and camped my body til I bled out. ive tried everything i could find on it but disabling firewall and antivirus, but i looked in mine and they say dbd is fine and is going through them normally. Does anyone else get randomly disconnected in the middle of random matches sometimes? I have these moments where every survivor starts running in place, then the match ends for no reason. Survivors get no penalty for this and even get BPs, while I not only lose BPs, but also get a timeout penalty (which, if it happens several times in a row, gets ridiculously long). the last update about the trickster in december 2023 was a bit controversial cause he was overbuffed on PTB but kinda nerfed when he came out weeks later. Almost like 95% of the people I get paired up with have zero common sense. They get downed instantly in chase, don't heal, wonder the map, barely save, and just all around are slow. I'm the only one trying to do anything at all in my games, but always end up dying either on first hook or after everyone else dies 2 mins in. Im in a bit of a crisis, ever since the patch my game is stuttery and just not smooth. This has happened before but Im a bit lost on what settings I should be using to get DBD to run well. Since the upgrade to UE5 I have been experiencing massive frame drops/stuttering/crashes/etc. My PC specs are as follows: i7 12700KF 32GB DDR4 RTX 4070 12GB 2TB Samsung 970 EVO I play the game on low settings, as that's what I've always used.
