It seems to be commonly agreed that Dead by daylight has a toxic playerbase,and while i don't believe they are the most welcoming or wholesome community, I think the situation is either blown out of proportion or misunderstood. I feel like there's a lot of perks that nobody uses but might be good or if slightly tweaked could be viable. For example vigil removes 12 seconds from tier 3 exhaustion perks and cuts at least 15 seconds off most status add-ons except the ones that only last 30 seconds. Is it worth a perk slot thought? Okay so a killer slugs at let's say one gen or zero gens okay it's annoying but hey they at least want a kill go for it but what I want to know is why slug at 4 or 5 gens. Because with the new patch, this is the only worthy universal slowdown perk. And when it hit 70-80% pick rate after new patch release, don't forget to conclude that this perk is TOO OP. The description of his nerf can be justified by the fact that this perk "encouraged camping". the proposed healing changes doesn't affect your ability to genrush...heck even overzealous is getting a buff and you don't have to waste time healing...i guarantee your matches are going to be much shorter with the new changes and the nerfing of gen regression perks on the killer side. slap on a resilience/overzealous/stake out/fogwise with a good toolbox and you will still be able to listen to99 comments 3,325 views last activity

Not a fan of the Blight, Wesker, Nurse chase, chase, chase playstyles when I do play killer it's not fun and quite stressful. I mostly enjoy Trapper, Hag, Knight for example although I don't like the three gen strategies it's super unfun for both sides. I also don't like Bubba facecamping playstyles. I can't for the life of me just have a normal game anymore. Every single game I have I get paired against the FBI, the US marines, the navy seals, and the British army. It's literally unbearable. I logged in today to have a quick chill game before doing what I needed to do and again got matched against a super swf. Needless to say I uninstalled. This game has gone to hell. Killer is trash. We all respect nice killers who go for 11 hooks and give hatch and don't slug but there is really no way to be a nice survivor. Besides not tbagging at the gate survivors usually just play the game as optimal as possible and if not there pro longing chasing with flashlights and trying builds to screw the killer. Had my first experience with a P100 version of these the other day and I found it more punishing than old nurse in gideons meat plant. He had used a macmillan offering, so the map was pretty ideal for him. He had lethal pursuer and apparently came for me, first. Hi all, I do my fair share of great skill checks, and also missed skill checks (1k hours and the 4 o'clocks are still rough sometimes lmao), but nothing in this game frustrates me more than mechanics that are completely out of your control - Generator repair and healing skill checks. I had a game last evening as Sadako with 2 DCs the moment they saw me (so what else is new), when I saw the other 2 Survivors they crouched politely so I'm like, ok, you can go. I went afk to grab a drink while they did gens and left but .... I come back to find 1 gen left and them milling about together doing nothing. Now that we know which changes are gonna happen, what meta changes/shifts do you expect for killer/surv? Sadly, with survivor healing having dodged changes to altruistic healing altogether (PTB was overturned, for sure, but I would have expected a middle ground fir live servers) I don't think there will be much of a change. Some big general sources that come to mind are books (such as Dracula, Frankensteins monster, etc) and board games (Nemesis, mansions of madness, etc). first hook tunneling first got brought up awhile ago, the community made a big fuss about it, and content creators came to the consensus that if you wanted to beat a team at high MMR, tunneling was necessary. Can we please just give perks such as Reactive Healing, Resurgence, and Solidarity the bonus of providing immunity to Hemorrhage? What would it be? For me, it's pretty simple: 1) Stop hovering around the hook if I'm camped. Go do gens and come trade before stage 2. If you stay crouched next to me for 45s and still let me go to stage 2, I'm probably cussing you out very loudly 2) Stop doing gens with me, go across the map and find your own gen. Do something with the bodyblock, the killer got mad at me because I sabotaged hooks and tank hits for them , And when I was hiding waiting to save a friend , the killer saw me and stood in front of me.
