  • This should honestly honestly be a survey because what are you guys going to do with all this ordinal data? Your players do not have time to give you detailed feedback on each map- and the one's who do have that amount of free time to spare maybe aren't reflective of the playerbase as a whole. Or you could play the maps yourselves

long gone are the days of unemployed killers bleeding people out then going afk !!!!! ive said for years dont be surprised when bhvr implement counters to slugging and tunnelling and its finally here xdd if it isnt the consequences of their actions.

a lot of good changes ! dbd could soon be fun again

@ devs, you talked a lot about "polite feedback" on the PTB stream today. I would take note of the "politeness" exhibited by members of the community who asked for changes like the ones you're planning on implementing. To reiterate, this changes carter toward your more entitled players

  • Lol, lmao even. What a ######### show

It's not as though this one little badge is mutually exclusive with those driven efforts, though.

BHVR have already said they're going to do a whole bunch of much more impactful things to address the current issues, and while there's no guarantee any of these things are going to be implemented well… whether or not their efforts bear fruit has nothing to do with them acknowledging a sillier bug this way.
The badge is a nice gesture, and it's part of a series of responses BHVR have planned. I get not personally being interested in the badge, I get finding the bug more annoying than funny, but I don't get acting like the badge is in any way at odds with serious efforts to fix things.

They're currently planning on doing both. What's the harm in also playing along with a community meme at the same time?

bro they said they're adding more anti-camp and that their schedule is open for delays/changes. No mention of fixing the rampant cheating issue, no mention of killer they gutted in prep for a rework (no skull merchant changes, but Micheal gets an update?). No mention of adding tome lore back, no addressing the swamp. Hound master and twins still unplayable. The also never really admitted to snubbing Otz which is the most concerning aspect. They are very confident they can fix this without community input (this would be an excellent time for an emergency survey). The joke isn't funny and the gift isn't wanted on my part because I still haven't seen any accountability. We can joke after they actually admit they ignoring people who try to help them

  • We might as well make a Jim rift since BHVR has abandoned developing lore in the rifts. We have a Jim icon- but no elodie badge (the main character of this tome). It's like a carrot on a stick with you guys. Marvel-fication of DBD. Unserious meme slop content »»» thoughtful/detailed/passionate driven efforts

There's really nothing people of this community won't whine about, isn't it?

It's a player profile icon and has no bearing on the game whatsoever. Get over it and get a sense of humor.

your sense of humor is laughing while you are being actively insulted but ok

Its a joke but also an acknowledgement of there screwup.

Yes and I already explained I didn't find it funny. And And now we see them same "meme" dozens upon dozens of times a day. At one point, we were compensated with BP and iri shards for this type of thing. Responses like yours shows BHVR they can do the bare minimum and the community will still glaze them.

    Whining… complaining…

    Every day, more drama.

you received one of the most anticipated licensed chapters to date, and they showed you they didn't didn't even load into a game to test it. I have every right to complain? Sorry not everyone is just going going to take a picture of a bug and then laugh and a move on

This is actually really cool! I read this entire thread on the edge of my seat. No pun intended. lol.

Really neat power too! Creepy as hell! I also feel bad for the killer too in the story. Poor Vincent.

While this is similar - I would also equally love a killer that holds a Voodoo Doll! Would be so cool! You're able to use curses on them depending upon which is available for cooldown etc etc. Could have 4 abilities similiar to Vecna. Would be so much fun!

Thank you ! He has been conjuring in my mind for a bit so I'm glad you enjoyed the narrative bits! I love a sad little guy.

Love your concept as well! I can see that being super fun, maybe instead of just straight injuring he gets a little affliction wheel and choose a status effect to apply? I could see that allowing room for a lot of skill expression too

wait so its a dash killer and a projectile killer? And both can deal damage? I'm sorry but that's an absurd combo

like yeah the dash can't down, but dashing into someone and then throwing a projectile at them

and the projectile cooldown doesn't apply if it misses? So against an injured survivor its essentially an infinite ammo huntress with mobility? And that's not really that conditional because the dash can't down but the projectile can, so you're actually incentivized to do so. You do lose out on orbitals, but survivors within 16 meters is very common in chase, and you can use the dash to catch up

Hey, thanks for reading and replying. I think we may have a misunderstanding on the cooldown. By saying "or on impact", I mean if it hits the environment, the same 7 second cooldown applies as if you hit a survivor. I also really don't think mobility plus a limited range projectile that can down is OP- Springtrap is also "infinite ammo huntress with mobility" and is pretty balanced. Also the range of his throw is only deathslinger range, and travels in arch, so really a close-distance orbital is the only ranged power he has. So really, I would see his biggest issue would be people exclusively going for mobility dashes and avoiding javelin shots, not necessarily combo'ing a vault into a throw. There would be nearly an 8 second gap between vaulting and being able to throw the javelin, allowing the survivor to find safety. I should have specified vaulting puts your javelin throw on cooldown as well.

    this sounds really cool

    hey thanks I appreciate it!

I think you're ignoring the fact that you die in one hit. That's a pretty important factor you're missing in your argument.

half of the killer roster and dozens of perks also one shot. There is no real draw back to being injured while running these these perks, unless unless you're you're a potato.
