I was streaming on Twitch, when my electric went down during a storm, I was given a timer, so when my stream came back up I just kinda had to sit and wait. Also I think the timer system is excessive to say the least. When there is a d/c there is a bot to fill the players place, however I understand the timer, but I think that it being able to go up to 48hrs is excessive. I started playing again after taking a few month break. I’ve been playing both sides and it’s crazy how common the slugging got the 4k is still. Happens almost every single game when 2 survivors are left. I’ve done it a few times on killer I’ll admit in sweaty matches and I’ve concluded it’s not worth the extra time. I've noticed (and i'm sure others have) in the morning between 5am-2pm survivors are much worse and are more likely to DC, chase the killer with flashlights and never touch a gen and in general i'm far less likely to escape. Then between 2pm-6pm the game feels balanced and I'll sometimes escape as survivor and have the most fun playing as killer. The reason i made this topic is because of the big amount of posts in this forum where people complain about incompetence of teammates or that playing killer is almost impossible to win. Matchmaking. SoloQ was never great. But matchmaking has declined by a lot ever since a couple of weeks before Alien came out. If I am matched with other players of my skill level, I win 70-80% of matches. But currently I escape maybe 30-40% of them. I can understand the hate behind the character as nobody really enjoyed her especially for how she started and what she was capable of. I've just played two Dredge games in a row. In both, about halfway into the match, all of the survivors started running in place, I was unable to move, and then the game ended with an error message popping up saying something along the lines of "Dedicated server not responding...". Has anyone noticed this in matches lately? I've been playing more killer than survivor so perhaps I've missed this happening but I went to do some challenges today on survivor and each match I see the killer is red icon popping up. Stuff that people refuse to hear/accept. Survivor UI changes was pointless, most of the time it doesn't even do anything and the issue was never survivor or solo Q being a problem it was just players being bad and refusing to learn and instead relied on highly unfair perk combos to win. It says I have earned and claimed the hag weapon and the charm, but they aren't showing up on my account. The Elodie shirt still has the connect button by it, but when I hit it I get taken to a weird Microsoft page like I'm a BHVR employee. I ask this from a genuine question because playing Killer as of late is almost impossible now to get a single hook or kill now. The only time I can get something is when I play Evil Incarnate Myers build. Outside of that I'm lucky to even get a down before 2-3 gens pop even with Nurse or Blight. Don't know with this game anymore lol. Outside of nightfall you don't see the progress of nightfalls charge. In nightfall you don't see how long is left on nightfall. No, I didn't camp pallets in any way and yes, I greeded loops at least twice before dropping. In total I dropped about five pallets, when I was about to get hit, throughout the entire game. Play the role of the killer is quite stressful, especially when you consider that within the first 50 seconds of the match, survivors can easily complete 2 generators, or at the very least, they are likely to finish one generator while having another an advanced. To be honest I just cant find a justification that is compelling enough to abandon slugging as my primary means of play. When I think about it, slugging does everything that a hook offers while also allowing removing unfavorable aspects. Been playing a lot more Skull Merchant since her rework and the undetectable in particular has won me MANY games. Do we think this is just because people haven't adjusted yet or is her undetectable plus haste everytime you spam drones making her really powerful? So this been happening for over 2 or 3 months now. I keep getting kicked from matches randomly because of the bug you see in the screenshot below. I've contanced BHVR more than once but they haven't provided any solution to this. Most stealth killers have a tell ahead of time or are slower (pig growl, ghostface shroud noise, wraith crackle) She's completly silent and can move full speed. Dailies used to be that you got a daily a day, period to a max of three. So if I played on Thursday and had 0 dailies and the next time I opened dbd was Sunday I would have 3 new dailies to complete. In addition if you were maxed out on dailies, IE I logged in Monday. If I didnt reroll I could complete a daily and then it would get replaced.
