  • The truth is, the moment that there is a ranking there is a need to stop cheating. One thing Behavior isn't interested in doing, it's stopping cheating. The more you don't know, the less you know what to complain about that they have to answer for. I'd love this game to have stats or even public rankings (are you in the 10% of Killers? Top 20% of survivors for gen rushing or escapes?) it would be awesome to know, but it's never going to happen because then they have to be accountable for that being accurate.

  • Agree or just let us exchange them for things we use. It's so stupid to have all these you can't use ever again.

  • I'm a Killer main. I can honestly say you guys need a chat feature in solo queue and just get rid of SWFs.

  • Why do people not understand it's part of the game now. If the game allows it, you just have to accept it. Killers have to accept things they don't like as well.

  • It was trash. How do you have an event with new gens then tell killers they can't use gen perks on them?

    This ^

And this is why SoloQ need some buffs to make it up for the advantages that the SWFs have.

OR you could downgrade SWF to make it not an absolute waste of time to play against, then buff the solos. The idea is to find a middle ground. A decent Killer main should be able to take out 2, not get smoked in 5 minutes against 4.

  • My God I came back…..this is terrible. Gens are done in 3 minutes? No ability to slow anyone down and getting smoked in loops. Terrble!

  • Thanks….I'm getting the itch to return. I don't think I have been around for the new Killers so this will be interesting.

  • The problem is when Behavior does stuff to help the solos they end up overpowering the SWF. SWF is EXTREMLY overpowered. They need to separate SWF from Solo and then change the game for SWF to balance it. Like a team can only have 4 different items. No more 4 flashlights, toolboxes, etc. One gets flashlight now the next can have a toolbox. This would eliminate bully squads and two hooks vs three for SWF teams. Three is way too many in those situations.

  • As a Killer I feel like I can't find one when I really need it to be honest.

  • I play him a good bit. All the Killers have a strength you want to stack. His is actual auras, if you use Bloody Glove and Splintered Hull which does two things. Bloody Glove lets you see auras of survivors who get near a blood drop, Hull makes them bleed more so it puts more blood drops out there. Combine that with Nowhere to Hide and Lethal Pursuit maybe Nurses Calling and you can run the map. You keep hitting them and letting them run, spread the blood drops all over the map, soon it's lighting up like a Christmas tree. You'll see survivors all over the map moving and Lethal Pursuit adds 4 seconds to the aura as well.

I feel like it's gotten worse. Hitting survivors with simple M1s feels a lot more difficult recently and I can't explain why.

Something is up. I played Oni last night and kept missing swings I shouldn't have missed. It felt like something was up. Very frustrating. On console Killer is so insanely hard, but it's just what works best for me, I do think turning as a killer on console is like turning a mac truck.

  • Every match tonight has had either a cheater or cheating SWF group. I don't understand why Behavior doesn't care. It's not fun at this point. It's not even the blatant ones it's the subtle ones barely outrunning you when you have a haste perk AND play with your food going.

  • I had 4 games last night. 2 groups were cheating. One I was chasing and they slipped up thinking I couldn't see them run from a walled area at the speed of sound. The animation was ridiculous like someone on fast forward.

The other was one where they could sprint the entire time. Here's where it was ridiculous. I think they believe they are hiding it because although it's not them in fast forward they are running ridiculously fast the entire game. They were out running my Hag who has a 7.5% speed bump through add ons with play with your food and rapid brutality. Sorry you're not going to out run me the entire game. Yet here we are!

Now the insult to injury is the cockiness. The running around trying to get chased when the gates open, the Tbagging. If you cheat just do your gens and go. Let me get to the next game quickly. But please don't be cocky over it, you're an absolute loser to cheat in a game that literally has no benefit to a win/loss percentage.

  • Came here looking for validation that what I have seen is real. Tonight 4 matches 2 were cheating. I caught one team flying around the map behind walls but I saw enough in chase to see how ridiculously fast they were going. They also love to Tbag which is just sad.

Behavior isn't going to do anything about it. In another forum there were links to where you buy them. I'm on console but I was amazed you could get insane cheats to basically own the game for under $10.

I just don't get it, you're not being challenged at all. There's not a game best player ranking system. So why even do it? I get there's no risk but you are admitting you suck at the game and had to use cheats because everyone sees it. Plus when a team does it... Lol come on really? It's pitiful to see players run into closets through a wall.

Listen you want to use cheats whatever, Behavior won't stop it just don't be an ahole and act like you're that good, you aren't and yes we know you use cheats. I'd have more respect if you just did your part and left the game instead of gloating. If you cheat save some face do your gens and leave. Have some respect to get me out of the match as quickly as possible.

  • Sorry I was speaking on just what I was seeing. I am certain Killers do as well. Again I understand if there was some game wide ranking and it would make you feel good to be a top 100 or something, but literally none of that exist. Its just odd to me I guess.

  • The only answer that makes sense... BHVR HATES killers. It's a necessary evil for them. We don't buy 50 outfits and make them money so they don't care. Killer bots will pop up more so they won't need Killer mains and survivors can be happy with tbagging over easy wins because it makes them feel good.

If they cared about Killers A. They would play Killer B. They would do something about gen rushes and SWF being overpowered. If anything they would give us Shadowborn without having to add a perk to actually SEE!

  • Behavior is survivor sided and hates Killers. The more you just accept that the more you expect the ######### end of the stick with every patch note.

  • Killer at low levels is a ton of fun. Killer against good Survivors or SWFs is a MISERABLE experience.

  • The whole issue is this....solo survivor underpowered....SWF or higher level Survivors Killer underpowered. The mistake is that Behavior keeps giving Survivors more and taking away from Killers to help the solos, but the real issue is that it overbuffs the hell out of SWF and solid Survivor groups. They have to separate the two. SWF should give the Killer some benefit. Reduce the amount of hooks needed to 2, survivors can't have more than one tool in the group so one flashlight, one toolbox, etc. Hell even give Killers Shadowborn and Play with Your Food as the base build.

SWF and Solo are two totally different situations and you can't buff one without the other being ridiculously overpowered. When 2 or more players are SWF there needs to be a change in the game to balance it. When its solo que continue to seek balance by helping survivors.

  • I'd love to know how old the Killer perks are that the use compared to Survivor perks they use. I am willing to bet those top Survivor perks are newer in comparison. I may be wrong but those Killer top perks have been around for a long time.

  • I've learned to accept that BHVR hates Killer mains OR they don't play their own game. Everyone who makes these decisions should play the game before making them. I can promise you they do not play the game and only try to fix complaints which comes from the biggest pool of players...Survivor mains who literally are unhappy with anything Killers get. Because apparently Killers aren't supposed to have an onjective to win.

Its absurd that survivor mains can still complain when they have so many advantages. 4x the number of perks. 2x the amount of equipment. Nearly every map in the game favors them. Gen rushing. Extraordinarily OP perks like MFT. Meanwhile every single thing the killer can do to try and slow the game down a little so they can catch up survivors want gone so they just win every game. The game is called Dead by Daylight not Survivors Playground. Not to mention the fact that when the survivors win they tend to become extremely toxic with T bags, flashlight spamming, speed vault spamming from the other side of the map to make the killer go deaf ect.

You nailed it. Behavor just keeps chipping away at Killer and eventually they won't have enough Killers being played and it'll be bots. The game is so Survivor sided. Think about it, Survivors can literally put together a team that just trolls the killer and doesn't even try for gens and walk out the gate 3 or 4 strong . That doesn't really scream that it's balanced to me when you can do that and still escape.

  • Played her last night as killer. I love her for a change of pace. I enjoy her more than any other killer

  • I was so miserable last night and wrapped it up with a bully squad to end the night. I am with you tunneling, camping and slugging for me until Behavior does something about Gen Rush. #UnitedInHate

So killers see survivors doing their objective! Who would’ve thought

You have no clue what it's like to see gens pop in 90 seconds when your perks are nerfed to appease survivor mains and you can't catch speed bursts. 5 gens done in 6 minutes is ridiculous so yeah Killer mains are going with the best Killer they can to tunnel, camp and slug. It's unfortunate but its where its going.

  • Killer mains see gen rushers as much as you see Wesker so there lies your answer as to why.

  • I am really debating quitting after last night myself. It was just ridiculous.

  • I play Wesker because Behavior has ruined perks so bad and I like to win too. I like winning matches like everyone else and if you suck at Nurse (I do) you pretty much have 3 Killers that you can work with including Blight and Wesker.

  • Honestly, not until gen rushing is dealt with, that's just 100% truth. I know people will argue it but it's true. Seeing gens go off in 90 seconds is just absolute BS and Killer mains are burned out on not only losing without much opportunity but also having their faces rubbed in it with Tbags, hookblocks, repeated flashlights, maps that suck among others. I do not think people realize how ridiculously frustrating playing Killer has become when facing SWF, bullies and gen rush groups. Behavior did so much to push Killer mains to have to slug, camp and tunnel.

I feel the same, but for survivor. I can have a ton of fun playing killer, especially going for fun builds like Scratched Mirror Myers, or Impossible Skillcheck Doctor (evil but fun regardless).

So fun watching the survivors' reactions when you pop out from a corner as Myers. Sometimes they just give up completely, or other times, they will run in terror. I usually show remorse in the end and let them go after having my fun, and both sides usually end up getting a lot of points too. Like this example

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/DKMYTENZTIKU/jumpscares.jpg

What's the Skill Check Doctor? Never played him, very interested. What perks and add ons?

  • Best part: Being an aggressive Killer that throws survivors off their game because I come at them quick. Knowing a survivors move before they make it and being around the corner when they run right into me after making some move they think was slick. Also holding down 3 gens (never played Skill Merch before you ask) when the games a grind and getting the 4K.

Leaving with at least a 3K and being an Apex Predator.

Worst part: Lagging in a chase, Bully Squads and falling on my face trying to be an Apex Predator because a teams just too good.

  • It'll get worse because I think a lot of Killer mains are going to stop playing through this event. Some nights I am running the map, others I can't do anything right. But rarely is it a mix. A few bad nights in a row and I kinda don't want to play anymore. I could see the Killer numbers drop as we go. I don't think many Killers would argue if you want to play competitively it's very hard to do it right now.

  • I don't get the hate with his top add-ons hes a tier S killer for me. I can wipe the map with him. Stealth and speed plus the ability to see gen progress. I don't get the hate.

  • Survivors play in 3rd person....why would you need a FOV?? Are you kidding right now? LMAO Killers in 1st player need it badly. I can only see half the screen with my weapon taking up the other half.

  • You aren't wrong. It's ego. People don't want to work to get better, they want to be the best as soon as possible and when they aren't it's easier to blame everything else but yourself. I'm a Killer main and I try to explain all the time that I do not set out to tunnel someone, but I do see the same survivors in my way over and over. Survivors refuse to take some responsibility for their role in getting tunneled. Most of the time its the same player I see trying to save people. flashlighting me over and over, trying to get me to loop. Survivors who are tunneled most of the time....it's their own fault.

  • With an early DC I usually kill one more and communicate to one survivor I will let them finish unbothered but I will kill the other one for the 2k. If you're lucky enough get your points and I'll escort you to the gate and watch you go. Usually I pick the survivor that is either struggling the most as a new player or the person busting their ass despite the disadvantage. I don't REALLY feel bad about a DC to be honest as long as 3 stay but I'm usually killing 2 of the 3 left. There are times I will let two live, depends on my mood.

  • Spirit is slowly becoming my main.

  • That argument is so trash. 4 vs 1, 12 perks vs 4. 8 add ons vs 2. Flashlights, speed burst, faster tool box, pallets, looping perks, dead hard, TWO exits clear on the other side of the map from each other so if one is actually active with a killer don't worry you can just run to the other one. Oh wait IF the Killer somehow gets the edge and keeps you from opening the gates you get a hatch, if the killer closes the hatch don't panic you can have a key to open it too.... JFC Survivors mains that complain are delusional.

  • Killer sucks to play but it won't change. Survivor mains are the squeaky wheels who want easier ways to win. I leveled all the Killers with the BP bonus and may take a break in hopes it balances back out, but doubt it will. Survivors spend more money on skins and whatnot so they gotta keep them happy.

  • Played last night. Gens were going off at a crazy rate. I think honestly it's frustration. Here is the thing...if you can attest that it's bringing out the worst in Killers it's ALSO bringing the worst out in survivors. This community is frustrated with eachother and blaming the other for it. I will say I do think in my experience I completely understand how the tunneling and camping starts. Survivors are flashlighting, have burst and fast gen tools. I can't tell you honestly how much slower all my Killers feel right now. It's like running in glue. There is a lot of frustration which results in trying to feel vendicated in matches as you go. But I do think the game changes force tunneling and camping for Killers.

  • I don't blame you, the games becoming slanted towards solo Survivors and playing Killer just isn't fun when you get one of two games...gens going off every 30 seconds or being trolled and hit with flashlights. I think the plan is to bot Killers anyway so it's not going to get better. The game needs survivors to feel good about their (lack of) skill so they keep logging in and buying outfits.

The game forces camping and tunneling to get some kills which should be the opposite of what everyone should want. You can't have everything though and you get too much of one thing, the other is going to crumble. So tunnel and camp until your hearts content and turn off the chat I guess.
