I think of people like you
Just because i dont mind my pizza dough being undercooked or still feel a bit raw doesnt mean its ok for the restautant to just serve undercooked pizzas to their customer

Yes, that is most certainly OK by the majority.. The newer players who are not yet acustomized to some of the unwritten rules and terms derived from various terminologies might take it offensively.
If you wish to educate them, you can only hope that they will be patient enough for your explanation.If the player sticks for long enough, they are bound to know anyway, especially if they read the forums as there are the terms camping, tunneling, slugging all the time.
Y'know, tunneling being taken from tunnel vision, camping from exactly what it is in real life, and slugging from slug. Yeah, slug as in that animal.If the screams appear to be louder, respectively too loud for you.. Your ear might potentially be sensitive or has developed sensitivity to such frequencies..?
As such, it is best to not take the risk and instead lower the volume.I just find it irritating that we got so many accessibility features yet if you play the game and pay attention to how little care there is in sound design and overall health of the user you start to notice the game doesnt car.
It seems majority are ok with loud piercing sounds so i might be the problem here. I am playing dbd a lot of less because of it maybe its for the better
-
Do you guys find it ok to hit people on hook after hooking for this very reason? i ve seen survivors get salty at end game or in game if i do that.
Also i dont have the game that loud. for normal gameplay yet the screams are are way louder than everything else
-
Same keep getting disconnected while waiting the 30mins its so annoying i stopped playing dbd un til 2vs8 is gone.
or if i wanna play it ill justget on early morning or really late mid week to have smaller queue times but thats it.

good question. im afraid the devs didnt ask themselves this question in 7 years.
it will never stop to beng funny forcing a console player to vault a window instead of healing me or dropping pallets

To give an example, every map with every killer - bugs can occur that then need fixing. It's not as simple as with shadowborn which is a set fov - it's adjustable so all those adjustments need to be checked. Some killers also have a fov increase, Legion in Frenzy for example so it has to be worked into that as well.
whta hurts me is not how long it takes. but the reality of not knowing. a promise that is coming soon gets someone hopes up but then we stay waiting.i just hope that you didnt give us vague timelines and just said expect it next year instead of soon or things like that
-
i do that because i get bored and spam m1 . dont even care if you save me so wanna have a 3 vs 1 go ahead. but staying on hook is boring im gonna be waving at you everytime i see you plus attempt an unhook out of spite. lots of love my dear

@Nazzzak said:
I actually love this map. I struggle at times too when playing survivor - for one, getting caught on random obstacles during chase, not to mention the size can be difficult when someone is hooked on the opposite side of the map. You need to leave your gen pretty much instantly to ensure you get to them on time. As for killer, every map is going to be good or bad depending on the killer you play. Maps that are strong for some killers will be weak for others. I suppose it's all part of balancing.
could you tell me what killers benefit from this map ?. there is a badly balanced map that an work on some killers. RPD and stealth killers. then there is objectively bad map. god windows shoudld be a thing in the past and if iam playing m1 killer i dont bother chasing a good survivor main building i will lose the game if i do...

The Otz reference completely invalidated everything you said comp dbd has no place in dbd please play a different game
clearly you dont know what the OTZ reference is but still felt the need t osay something. here is the video and it has nothing to do with comp blight ?? its for casuals and people that struggle against blight in general
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GILKneR0ovs&t=119si think i need to rephrase something. Good survivors will loop blight even with his strongest addons yet as i said before that doesnt change fact some of them needs to be addressed.
i just dont like people taking something that can eb tweaked and treating all of blight kit as broken. ive seen some mad lads ask for blight to be nerfed when outside of his power or take his rush out entirely.
some even ignore the fact that blight collision on half of the maps is horrible and say remove this tech, without considering how unplable he can be without it.
Also a tech blight is more fun to vers than a bump logic only goes for safe hits blight. if a blight tries to 180 flicks it give you chance to dodge compared to a blight who would rather bump behind you on that object and land a hit you cant dodge...
-
@CorvusCorax86 said:
I'm sorry, Mister, but I find Blight difficult to learn to play. Plus, I like the SoloQ experience due to its thrill when running from the killer.
Additionally, not sure if by flick you mean hug, but Blight's hugging can be very strong especially near cars / pickups in Autohaven. A lot of us do try and fail as many Blight players are expert at using this killer (i.e. might have more hours with him than my total hours with the game due to the current MMR algorithm).
I prefer reading tips / guides from less patronising ("this will blow your mind") individuals. Also, you can try adding your suggestions without referring to streamers with 10K hours. You don't have to rely on Otz - I'm sure many of are interested in reading the list.
if you read my points you will see the one to fake running one direction then doubling back.
A blight that is in middle of "hug tech" either looking at ground or onto whatever wall they are trying to hug are easy to dodge. you just have to run earlier from where you think he will be coming. you can even fake and double back if they see you while doing the tech.
Also trying holding W when blight is doing the hug. youd be suprised how many times you will leave him stuck there trying to do his trick while you gained distance to another loop or safety. i do it all time against blights and works everytime.
Dont forget spinning...many survivors do it and its effective against blight
-
Dont use renewal and offthe record. the tunnelers will hit your bit anyway making them useless

then on top of that alchemist ring and compound 33 exist, he need full add on rework same than Nurse then he's still top tier but it's fine
aaying that you terrible with blight. and that addons that make you move faster with little time to contol blight makes you unbeatable..... makes think u dont even play blight u just complain because eveyone says its bad instead of learning
i highly doubt a bad blight would be stronger with double speed its actually the opposite. a bad blight wont rush alot because their bad.....
people like you are the problem and i hope bhvr doesnt listen to your crying instead of people who have argumenta and experience what they talk about
-
@Mooks said:
This will shock you, but there are new players, casual players and just players that do not play in the most efficient ways and they are allowed to give feedback just as much as everyone else - and many people are complaining instead of giving constructive criticism (that’s true for pretty much any type of player regardless of skill/experience)
also, not everyone is able to play blight. He needs to be bought with shards/money, and especially on console/controller plays very much differently than M&K. His PoV may also make it impossible for some players due to accessibility
then new players should be tested against new blight players. and casual players should be compared to casual blights.
in both cases kill rates will plumet. ive seen casual blight they cant land a hits all the time properly and new blights dont even know how to rush
your logic is comparing 2 spectrums of playerbase. the issue for you would be unfair matchmaking ratheer than blight himself.
-
slinger can tunnel too with his power ithink unless they patched it
-
by the way if you have a medkit while injure and you trying to heal your injured temmate with your medkit. you wont be able to
you only have option to heal normally. or use medkit to selfheal.
ALSO ALSO. i had a soloq console temmate on rpd. how i know he is console ? well he tried to unhook me instead he vaulted the window next to hook dropping him on the buttom floor. and I HIT STAGE 2 hahahahah
it took them 7 years. to add a search bar and fps unlock on the main setting menu. perhaps in another 7 years we would be able to pick what button to use for what action

The effect i mentioned is completely different from the actual cosmetics which make you look like a spectre or zombie. As much as I would like the actual Void cosmetics to be rewards, I can completely understand why they don't do this.
they will need to make a whole new melee void version for every killer if they do this. which i really dont see them doing
but p100 is underwhelming at the moment

they probably made the void loreand effect and thought this would fit perfectly for p100. but we cant money off that so we gonna make it a skin bundle that you have to buy with real money and only comesbakc after a year.

This seems like it would be awkward to implement. While you're not wrong that Spirit can utilize Exposed and other basic attacks perks incredibly well with her power, where do you draw the line between what counts as a special attack and what doesn't? With Nurse this nerf worked because there's a very clear distinguisher - an attack after a blink but before the ensuing fatigue can be considered a special attack, and any attack after the fatigue is a basic attack. But with Spirit, it would have to be a lot more arbitrary because there's no clear transition there that immediately makes sense and so for that reason I don't think the idea really works.
there is already an event wether the hit was haunt hit or not. just like wraith for example
-
@09SHARKBOSS said:
nah spirit does take some skill like blight and nurse but as caipt said she already has downsides built into her power
people like you are the reason i made this post. why does one of the most oppressive powers in the game get a pass for reasons like skill or she has cooldown. THE OTHER KILLERS DONT HAVE THAT ???? bruh
@xltechno said:
I am in no way opposed to this idea. In fact, a properly learned Spirit will almost never miss its attack. The only thing she cares about is how long it takes to take down a survivor.
Also, PW does not necessarily require a long cooldown time, it depends on the time spent on PW. Advanced Spirits often mix in short PW to create a checkmate and then attack normally. In this case, the effect of the perk will be applied, so it may be appropriate to request that the two types of attacks be used separately.
Many will argue that this is a significant nerf. Would you like to talk about it in detail if you like?
it would be a fair nerf. why does blight/nurse or even huntress have to go for the slow m1 to get value from Devour or Noed. when spirit can do it so freely? i feel like the past nerf kind of blinded people on her still lingering issues. nerf did nothing to how powerful she is hella strong still
-
@caipt said:
no, spirit needs her power to get hits in chase and its not on the level of teleporting or doubling your speed. She has enough limitations already (long cooldown, 110%, cant see survivors) that limtiation her perk choice we be a step too far.
1- She can see scratch marks and hear voices with headphone. even a monkey can know where they survivor is
2- she has addons of low rarity that literally tells her the exact location of the survivor when near them
3- she has 2 addons that make her get her power back instantly. either be stuned or break a pallet.
4- she has a green addon that recovers her power by 40% faster.
5- she can come out of phase and hit you before you have a chance to dtop the pallet at the correct side
6- tell me you dont know what you talking about without telling me you dont know what you talking about......

I was just speaking with a friend about this. The rate of giving up has skyrocketed recently.
I played a bunch of games yesterday, and survivors gave up in so many of them. I’m not even playing with particularly strong killers or builds.
- As Trapper: Someone DCed after the first down and then everyone else gave up on hook.
- As Trapper: Someone got trapped and I picked them up. They didn’t wiggle, and as soon as they were hooked they killed themselves.
- As Hag: Hooked someone in basement and they killed themselves on hook straight away.
- As Wesker: Match was going normally, I’d gotten a few hooks in and two generators had been done. I keep hearing a loud noise notification coming from where someone was unhooked earlier. Turns out they had gone AFK under the hook.
- As Hag: Went against a survivor with Boil Over on Midwich. Their teammate messed up a sabotage save and so I managed to hook them. They killed themselves on hook.
I just don’t get what’s changed all of a sudden.
yesterday i used this build on 4 games ( Haunted/ Devour / undying/ coup )
- Clown -----> 2 DC, one aftr first down and the second after devour 3 stack hit on 2 gens left
- Dredge ------------> 1 DC on devour 3 stack and one kill on hook right after
- Dredge --------> kill on hook first down, game is over then
- deathslinger ----------> DC on first gun shot hit ona meg with iri addon of exposed.
- blight with no perks just shadowborn/bbq --------> kill on hook first down

I had this back to back. The Wraith runs Sloppy Butcher, Knockout and two other perks. They run around the map slugging people. It takes a long time to find the slugs with Knockout and a long time to heal from injured.
In the first match, I focused on picking people up, but then nobody was on the gens and it was just a war of attrition until we bled out.
In the second match, I focused on gens, but then everyone was down and the people who were up were always injured. We made more gen progress before we died, but the match was over sooner.
What's the correct thing to do?
this type of wraith playstyle can be done with other killers too notably spirit. so when you see playstyle if you notice your team is strrugling unable to do anything move on to next game.
you will thank me later on the headache that will save you. played many games like this where i tried my best i just end up exhausted and feeling like playing a different game. save your self the the trouble and go next

Yeah, i main nurse. I also think she is a problem for the game. Are you thinking it isn't possible for both of these things to be true at the same time? I think in general that the BIGGER problem based on simply play rates, is to deal with the fact that around 20-25+ killers are completely unviable at high MMR is more pertinent. And then of course dealing with the 3 killers that are a problem. The rest are relatively okish right now.
nurse has an addon for half of sloppy im not sure which effect it was on blink hits which is pretty underrated addon.
everytime i see a wraith running sloppy or spirit i just take a look at how my temmates are doing if i see them being efficient on gens and heals ill do my best. if i see one hooked 2 injured and my gen keep recycling pop pain res and jolt i just give up and move on.
hope the devs will adress sloppy in a future update.

@LapisInfernalis said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3559336#Comment_3559336
I only tunnel when necessary. Regardless of which killer we are talking about.
The only thing I am really addicted to on Wesker is Unicorn Medallion and maybe Bamboozle because I haven't mastered hug-tech yet.
And no, I am not the "meta tunnel Wesker" you think I am. I am just not stupid. If a recently unhooked survivor runs into my face I take that as an invitation to chase them. If they were not cleansed directly or ran away, THAT IS THEIR PROBLEM not mine. I am not babysitting survivors so they have a great time only for them to butt-dance in the exit.
If we are talking about tunneling in general, I am completely with you that something must change. That there must be an incentive for killers to go for different targets and not the same over and over again. Some killers have it easier to tunnel than others. Wesker still needs to burn through all defences (PH does not, but nobody complains lol), so what is your issue here? Clown slows you for 15% when he spams bottles, Huntress just hits you from afar, Blight is Blight and Nurse does not care. What about them? What about Myers using TS after you got unhooked? All of this sucks.
Do us all a favor and maybe change your strategy when facing a Wesker. Don't cleanse when he is nearby. Believe me, you will get his attention. Cleanse first, heal after. You can take a can with you you know? Or do you need your item so desperately that you don't have time to drop the can for 5s? The more I read your post the more I believe YOU should maybe change tactics.
And if you did actually read my posts to this topic you would know that I would be OK with resetting infection on hooking to 1/100 charges. That would give you 90s of time until you get slowed which is more than any anti tunnel perk gives you.
And should I know that Devilhit guy? Doesn't ring a bell. Are they a streamer by any chance? Because anyone can claim they are "one of the best" Wesker players.
my point is the whole reason of this discussion is the unhook 50percent infection. that it why are people still talking about dont cleanse here dont go over there.
we are talking about the problem of tunneling wesker off hook with infection adn slowdown nothing more. also one of the mods removed the first part of my post that says wesker is fair and fun until u get tunneled while being slowed off hook...
-
@Skillfulstone said:
I'm honestly surprised that it's the hindered effect and not the Killer Instinct upon spraying that's bothering you.
If the Wesker chased you for so long that you ended up fully infected, then either he was toying with you or he was very bad. And if during all that time 0 gens were done then it's really on your team. If the Wesker campd and tunnelled you off the hook and you had enough time to get fully infected again then I honestly don't know who the hell you're facing.
If the infection post-hook was halted or slowed down until a conspicuous action was taken it would be completely fine.
i cant believe there are still people who dont read the post fully. i said hindered while being tunnel off hook since u get infected 50% off hook then seconds later you are slow while being tunneled. but oh well some people never change

One additional thing that came to my mind:
There is chase against Wesker when hindred, it s just a lot more difficult, you have to pay attention and you need to know what you are doing. It rewards high skill play.
The average Wesker who did not spend 100hrs into perfecting hug-tech on him (which is the majority of Wesker players) will still struggle with certain loops and configurations where the survivor has all the control during the chase. I do that many times myself. And I know that because I am a Wesker main myself and have not perfected hug-tech to help me during these cases.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3559205#Comment_3559205
Which "best Wesker players" say this? Please give me names.
The only thing I know of is that it should be reduced after getting hooked, but everything else? No. Base infection takes 90s to complete if I am not mistaken. If you have that time after getting unhooked the killer will properly loose gens along the way anyway if he chases you for the whole duration. So why should it be stopped during chase? Makes no sense.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3559208#Comment_3559208
Depends on the skill level of that Wesker and the map. Good luck getting anything done on MacMillan's round rock loops or garbage tile filler loops without doing precise rebounds or even hug-techs. And the latter is the high-end of his abilities. Most people can't do that consistently and struggle with loops like this if they are run well. I did that many times against average Weskers. Like I said above: you need to know what you are doing.
you give the vibe of a wesker who relly on the hindered tunneling wesker meta. ive seen too often to not think you are of them. just by the fact you refuse to agree with a basic thing. being slowed while tunneled off hook is a big nono.... i guess you are the reason we are making this post in the first place. even @Devil_hit11 agrees with the tunneling slow down part

We shouldn't be making balance decisions around a single killer, if that killer is too strong because basekit things change, that killer should be nerfed.
It is easier to buff ALL killers, then nerf the 3 problematic ones, than it is to buff 20+ killers.
you confused me in more ways than one. you are literally using the profile picture of a killer who cause normal perks to get nerfed time and time again so i dont see the point

I don't have much problems looping him while being hindred. And MFT is such a popular perk too which cuts the 8% to 5.
You should be punished for not cleansing. Period. And if he chases you for all that time he loses gens anyway.
Does it suck to get tunneled? Yes. Do we need to do something about it? Yes. Do we need to nerf Wesker because of it specifically? No.
saying you dont mind being chased while hindred is like saying you enjoy facing wesker wesker while being hindered by a buffed clown bottle all the time. let that sink in
FYI: i dont know why is this even a debate. a wesker can tunnel a person with pain res pop deadlock and still not lose any gens. add to that the tunneled person is 8%hindered seconds after hook. weker is fine, hindered while being tunneled is not. if you ignore the hindered and do gens i blame the survivor but not when being tunneled

Trapper/Hag: fair
Wraith: I would add keep vaulting over and over again so cannot break pallet/bamboozle the window while cloaked
Sadako: grab a tape
Legion: true, people are still healing against legion, that's basically all you need to know if someone asks if players have gotten better at the game
Nurse: I like going against Nurse actually, but I understand why most people don't, have to say I appreciate the different gameplay against her
Myers: fair, they should add the sound back for when he is almost in t3, so you don't get hit out of nowhere with it
Spirit: fair, but even with good headphones you can get screwed over, also loud noises really hurt ^^
If it is a curve billy 90% of players are so dead, because they have no clue what to do
Blight: honestly his iri addon that insta breaks pallets is the bigger issue, but yes alc ring is also an abomination
Doctor: fair, but then again most of the addons effects are useless anyway besides shock range and radius
The rest is pretty much accurate ^^
You have the worst case scenarios there, have to admit ^^ But Knight also used to be what Chess Merchant is now, so I wonder why you didnt include him with her :D
honestly knight was always hold w champion. its just 3 gen side tracked it a bit thats all :)

Yeah but I'd say that Wesker has a power with which his chases will end in favor of whomever is better in chase. If the survivor is a lot better than the Wesker, then he is going to lose. If the Wesker is a lot better, then the survivor won't stand for long.
i agree. wesker is a fun killer to face untill the hindred kicks in. then he is not so fun anymore

No, make the infection start at 0% instead of 50% like it currently does. If he decides to tunnel off hook, you have 90s before you're fully infected (assuming he doesn't slap you with power off hook). That's even more of a buffer than OTR. That kills his tunneling ability without removing the pressure from his infection.
in this case it should be easy for the devs to tweak it. it would be a simple number change but is it tho ? none knows
-
@dbdthegame said:
Make infection start at 0% off hook. There. Wesker is perfect.

True. I don't really think it needs a nerf tbh but I can see why it would be annoying
infection as mechanic is fair and completly fine. we are only talking about the tunneling slow down off the hook. it needs to be addressed
-
can you elaborate ?
@Boons123 said:
I think the infection progress should be reset from zero after the survivor is rescued from the hook ,also, after rescuing the survivor from the hook, the infection progress does not move for 10 seconds
If the developers did that, Wesker wouldn't have a reason to go and tunnelling the Survivor
a tunneling wesker would still go for the unhooked even if infection starting time is delayed by 10 secs. after all all he has to do is hit your BT with his power and you have half meter worth of infection.
@lidokain said:
I'm a huge Wesker main but maybe the hindered shouldn't be active in chase. His chase is far too good to be adding a near 10% hindered.
is it fair to assume that someone who plays wesker a lot would agree with you as well ? like i cant imagine if such a nerf happened people would go crazy

Sloppy is a really good perk, but it has to be kept in mind that some of the strongest killers can't make good use of it (Nurse and Blight first and foremost), and that on many of the other killers it is actually just as strong as it needs to be. Getting hits on survivors as Doctor for example is something you have to work for, the idea of reliably getting hits on multiple survivors frequently and let alone letting them go after doing so is pretty outlandish, so to actually make this kind of "spreading the pressure" viable, something at the level of Sloppy is pretty much necessary for these killers. Not least because it makes taking hits for each other more difficult and risky, something that can otherwise be crippling to a killer like Doc. Sloppy as you rightly imply more so than about the slowdown aspect is about the pressure potential it can create, creating snowbally, risky situations where people cannot take hits, unhook people, contest objectives or survive chases as easily or safely, due to being injured. And this is great because that snowball potential is what various of the relatively weaker killers often lack, and these risky scenarios actually make the game exciting and tense, much more so than just having 4 slowdown perks.
These scenarios are definitely particularly problematic for solo groups, because they require much more coordination and caution to navigate. For your frustrations I would say matchmaking is to be blamed for the most part however. If you were to have more competent fellow survivors, I guarantee you would even come to enjoy playing against Sloppy, at least more so than playing against Deadlock in its stead, for instance. So I guess my first suggestion is to try to find better players to queue up together with, or lobby dodge and check profiles until you find survivors you have reason to believe are more competent. My other tip is to use Med-Kits with Built To Last. You are not dedicating so much to this at all, and it can give you 5+ fairly speedy heals, which should usually more than suffice. Inner Healing is also good, especially if getting tunnelled is a major concern for you with regards to being injured: after being unhooked, get into a locker and not only will the killer regularly not find you, but you will also be healthy. Sprint Burst and Quick & Quiet can more reliably get you into a locker after that unhook, Decisive Strike and/or Head On can provide a safety net should the killer end up finding you after all. Ellen's Lucky Star can prevent detection. Self-Care alongside a selection of Botany Knowledge, Desperate Measures and Resilience is also good, while things like Calm Spirit, Distortion and Bite The Bullet can prevent detection.
A tip that isn't really directly helpful for yourself but might end up being helpful in a group or in the future: Autodidact is actually a really rather potent tool against Sloppy because the Hemorrhage status allows the user to reliably farm 5 tokens on the first heal, simply by letting go of the heal interaction and restarting it until they have gotten enough skill checks, from there on out then providing good healing power, if not all that reliably. Using this with an aura perk like Aftercare is good in solo, and doing so might also encourage others to do in kind.
I will say that some killers are pretty BS to face with Sloppy in solo. Hit-and-run Wraith as well as other stealth killers on indoor maps are pretty problematic, not just for solos. Spirit is a BS killer anyway, I'm glad she for some reason isn't popular at all anymore these days. Sloppy Hag that just keeps hitting and retrapping everything is obnoxious. Her hits out of teleports as well as Spirit's hits out of phase and Wraith's out of cloak could be treated as special attacks, so as to not trigger Sloppy. Although I'm not sure that is really appropriate. Certain killers' 3-gen potential can get to be a little too much to handle with Sloppy, particularly again for solos of course. In all of these instances, Gift Of Pain would be a much more healthy alternative, because it requires killers to actually hook to get that strong Mangled + Hemorrhage effect going.
For Hemorrhage it can also be argued that it regresses the heal a little too intensely. The regression is essentially instant, even just the couple of seconds of interruption due to Ultimate Weapon (a problematic perk in its own right) can all but nullify the heal, and this is particularly notable these days where Med-Kit charges are awfully limited and Self-Care heals take an awfully long time. I think the heal regression should be much more gradual, say at half a charge per second.
Circle was also overnerfed and I think it would be perfectly fine - and healthy even - if it still enabled survivors to heal themselves, albeit at 32 seconds per heal (40 under Mangled then, obviously).
it was mentioned many times in the discussion that the problem is how well a hit and run wraith or spirit renders the game almost unwinnable for soloq players. There is just too much chaos to expect altruistic perks or level headed decision as when to heal and when not to.
I am not saying the perk is Overpowered. However iam saying that it is overtuned and give too much for little effort. at the very least the hemorrhage status effect need to be looked into then the perk woudnt be so problematic. ( i like Soloq because i find swf with good players is kind of boring and defeats the purpose... just like running 3 slowdown perks on blight with alc ring where is the fun in that)

I just dont see such a dramatic impact from this in my games. Im not running any perks for healing and the effects hasnt pressured me to make any changes to my loadout.
If I see the perk then its pretty common for the team to heal each other as solo method are less effective. Bad teammates make everything worse but I dont see the perk as the problem in the situation.
you havent had the pretty common hit and run wraith that refuses to chase unless he catche you off guard injured on gen because u cant get healead. or Spirit with sloppy and 3 gen slow down perks continiously ending chases fast while survivors can barely heal in time to keep up or do any gens ? How about the tunneling wesker that abuse 8% hindered off the unhook and sloppy slow heal time while running 3 gen slow down perks ?
i honestly how some people cant see the glaring issue with how overtunedsloppy can be and how Easley it is to abuse. Let me just say that sloppy was strong before the healing nerfs. now its just overkill.

I get that Sloppy Butcher is not fun to play against but its not that strong, nor is it used by top tier killers.
If you want to heal you can still do it quickly. We''ll make it and Botany help a lot with altruistic heals and Botany can still be good for self healing. The medkit addon that grants +10 charges allows you to get a normal heal and still have enough charges to use a Syringe while using Botany.
Inner Healing is also pretty good if you know totem placements. Even Desperate Measures is good right now considering the amount of players that refuse to heal. Plot Twist is not that fast for a heal but makes up for it in versatility. You can counter quite a few killer perks with it.

If healing was this big waste of time some people pretend it is then Oni would be dominating the meta right now. And if staying injured was actually dangerous then Plague would be dominating the meta.
Sloppy is a pubstomper perk and i would not mind a redesign for it but solo play is bad regardless of this perk. Having perks like Reactive Healing and Resurgence be affected by the regression is pretty dumb too.
If you want your solo play experience to improve then a better matchmaking or a ping system for communication would be better for solo than a Sloppy nerf.

Even if sloppy were to be nuked tomorrow the stay injured meta would stay strong because staying injured is usually the most effective way to play. There are multiple survivor perks that encourage you to stay injured and focus on gens.
Why heal up when you can pre run with MFT or Sprint Burst and still waste a lot of time from the killer before the chase even starts? Its even worse if its a MFT + DH combo.
Why heal when instead you can blitz through generators with a strong toolbox? And then recharge it with Built to Last.
Why heal when the mid and low tier killers can't down people in a timely manner? The average killer is not that threatening.
Why heal when multiple users of Adrenaline is about to erase all pressure the killer has once the final gen pops?
I am not advocating that you play like this, just pointing out why many people do it regardless of Sloppy Butcher.
i liek your level headed opinion, but if sloppy loses the hemorrhage status effect tomorrow or have it slow down drastically. then perk is fine even against soloq. as many tweaks the game needs this is an easy one to fix and its frustrating to go against in pubs.
FYI: i comeback to the same point after reading the opinions shared in this discussion, that damn hemorrhage status effect is too fast to be fair with current healing speed

took me a year long break. switching to fps games and rust to actually enjoy the game again.
cameback months ago and i am still enjoying the game.
Game is in a better state. devs are listening and changing things there are still things to tweak but the love the devs get from changing things and listening is clearly showing compared to the hockey meta...

Infection progression shouldn't resume until a Survivor performs a Conspicuous Action.

A tunneling Wesker is one of the most unfun things to go against in the game. All BHVR needs to do is do what @ReverseVelocity suggested. They already have the code with DS and OTR, it shouldn’t be hard to implement.
was this issue ever confirmed to be checked on by the devs at some point ?
