So, rank reset just occured, and I went from 15 to 16 (I know I'm fairly new) and the game before I got to rank 15 with no pips. But then I got a slugging tunneling farming wraith. He saw me immediately and just targeted me. He let the others just gen rush and cleanse his hexes. The servers have been wonky for the past week. Really laggy, and blink survivors and myself as a killer included, all over the place. A few minutes ago I was playing a really laggy match. I often come across alot of people who won't throw on any offerings at all. Not even a wreath or a sachet offering which they probably have tons of and there's no downside to using them. I'm not sure about you guys but I always make sure I throw on one of those offerings for extra bloodpoints every match and I'm just wondering why some people don't. I might just be thinking way to into this but I have some ideas about the new killer based off the Dead by Daylight teams "work from home" pictures. My theory is the new killer is Candyman. My first reason is the animal pictures. In the first candyman movie Helen (one of the main characters) passes out after seeing candyman. I just buy saw chapter and play as pig in purple rank. My opinion about him "She is so weak." Trap can easily removed on first try. These offerings give you opportunity to try out killers before buying them. It's great for new players to try out killers and buy the dlcs they like. If you disable them, then these killers are truly locked behind paywall without any means to try them out, like newer licensed dlc (Ghostface, Demogorgon) To be honest, I bought Myers and Freddy because I had fun when trying them with offerings. Finally got around to trying it out yesterday and for a portion of today. I think it's interesting, definitely a lower-cut DbD when compared to PC, PS4 or Xbox but still fun. The mechanics are a little wonky and it makes my phone heat up super hot even when on 30 FPS (for an iPhone 10) which seems odd to me. Like if a survivor is looking at you within a certain radius (and they can physically see you), then the killer will get a buff to their action speed. Had an idea after watching one of my favorite horror movies, It Follows the other day. What if the killer (It) looked like a fellow survivor in your game and had a following ability to transform into whichever survivor you wanted. It could even interact with the environment in certain ways to trick players into thinking its friendly, then going in for the kill? Started playing Plague as I never saw anyone using her and I was curious. I've had a ton of fun with the following build and it's been pretty decent through red ranks and ok in purple. I've been running Dark Devotion as the base perk. Then Nemesis, Endurance, and BBQ. Essentially you just vile purge onto a survivor, let them stun you and down them in one hit. I was playing against myers the other day and he hit tier two. However i couldnt hear ANY terror radius. So i was wondering if monitor and abuse allows him to have no terror radius while not in a chase. His radius is 6 and monitor and abuse decreases by 8. So its a doc game. You are on a map in the Red Forest and BHVR decides to be extra stingy when it comes to pallet. A quarter of the map becomes a dead zone save the only pallet in existence as far as you know. I've been through this issue a lot where a pig, or Myers, etc is camping in a corner waiting for someone to save me, then swoops them away or slashes them to make them retreat and rethink their plan. I feel like there should be a counter to camping or at least a penalty. I think there should be a barrier of some sort surrounding the hooked survivor, that only other survivors can pass through. Of course 'stop tunneling' is good direction for 5 players in game, sure. It's not about is DC really powerful. But have you even thought about 'Why'? Why do killers tunnel. To make you feel suck and let you 2k bloodpoints more or less in trial? It is the ONLY way to slow down the gens. Every single hook that doesn't kills, means NOTHING about gen speed.
