So, I’m rank 2 trying to get rank 1 before the reset happens. I go against a basement camping Bubba. So me and my teammates do all the gens and escape. It’s impossible for me to get into any chases for points as he is literally basement camping. I find it really stupid how I still lose a pip even tho I escaped. Sorry if this is a dumb question but how does Lightbringer calculate your participation on generators? Under the Lightbringer heading on the DBD wiki https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Emblems it says that you receive 0 emblem points for co-op repairing a Generator. Is that how it should work? Just had a match where my team tried their best to get me free of the killers grasp. He was trying to hook me on a hook, they disabled it, he took three steps and used another. Of course I was almost done wiggling and that good ol hook vaccum canceled it for me. I have rarely if ever been in need of a hook. They are strewn around like candy on all the maps except the swamp. Thanks for being good sports. I pkay a bit of both sides but I more often find killers who are good sports about the game. Whether it's a killer knowing he crushed a team and let the last couple eacape/farm, similar if a player dcs right away or is afk at start, and finally for survivors who actively try to screw the team. Apparently, the trickster gets his name from his lore and as I heard, his song artist name was called "trickster". So were taking names from the killers lore now. Why not call trapper "The CoalMiner" or Hillbilly "The Farmer". To me this is a very lazy name choice because if you think about it, they literally could've called him anything. Have been playing solo saviour a lot lately, trying to help out what appear to be really bad survivors. It was fun but have been seeing a lot more pairing with high rank swf groups now. Due to this I started to change my play style and began messing with them. I remember around the launch of 4.5.0 they mentioned MMR wouldn't be active but the algorithm for it would run in the background gathering data. Considering that matchmaking because truly ghastly in a few days, I'm of the suspicion that this is BHVR testing its algorithm with data collection, trying to see how players of different ranks play against and with others. Please, for the love of all things holy.. can you please allow us to mix and match cosmetic items in the store?! I know some couldn't give a monkeys about cosmetics, but quite a few of us take pleasure in picking cool new outfits for our survivors and killers. This isn’t based off the strength of each killer’s base kit, this is only based off what kind of impact that their ultra rare add ons have on each killer and how they compare with other killers’ ultra rare add ons. Back when I first started playing this game and I didn't know much about how it worked, I tried not to get seen by the killer and getting into a chase gave me that feeling of anxiety but in a good way. It's been a long time since I've really felt the horror aspect of this game and I do miss it. Playing against Spirit, particularly a good Spirit somewhat brings that back in a way. So how exactly does hit validation work? Does it wait for the killer's client to say that they got a hit, and then check to measure the distance between the killer and the survivor when they receive that message? Isn't that going to be a little weak, since a killer can just swing and then get close to the survivor? I try and play nice as killer then get called a crutch needer or bad for having that one perk people don't like. I understand that killer has a huge gap vs survivor an vise versa. I don't mind losing even when the game is buggy but it's another thing when your trying to learn a new killer or learn anything new and the opposing side decides to be extremely toxic or entitled gameplay and chat wise. I swapped from PS4 to PC a while ago but I'd never really made the effort to swap from controller to keyboard and mouse. Almost everytime i face those killers in soloQ there is a survivor that DC or that suicide. For any other killers, it's ok, survivor almost never DC/Suicide. There is clearly a problem with those killers, the survivor community hate the gameplay against them so why developers don't do anything about it ? It seems to me that what he does, other killers seem to do better. Ghostface is better at stealth and one-shot hits. Oni and Twins seem to do the snowball a lot better. It’s kinda sad, as he is the killer that got me into the game and is no longer as viable as before. His Tier 1 seems more like a Hindrance than it is helping him. His Tier 2 is decent. The tech where you vault a pallet as you use feral frenzy when a survivor blinds you right as you do it to end up on the other side of the pallet out of feral frenzy being able to immediately hit them.
