Let people cry and whinge about their inability to counter running in a straight line for a bit longer.
-
Why do killers down survivors? Do they need to win so badly that they'd down and hook survivors?
-
So this is the new thing, huh?

Running in a straight line

Going by recent discussions: killers DC if you run in a straight line.

No one is telling you not to hold forward. It is being discussed because the devs need to balance it: holding forward should not give you as much as it does. The speed boost is one of numerous survivor mechanics (dead hard, decisive, borrowed) that rewards poor play.
I think "running forward needs to be balanced" is a bit much in all honesty. I don't have 4000 hours on the game like a lot of people do, but in my humble 400 hours of playtime I've never once thought "Damn, holding the forward button is overpowered", coming from someone who plays both sides equally.
-
People calling holding W boring... I'm not really sure what else survs are supposed to do? Holding W is how you run away from killers. It's the designated "run away" button. If there are no pallets or windows, holding W is the only option survs have. Should they just stand still and let the killer down them to avoid being boring?
######### me, people really will whine about anything.

Isn't that a Kingdom Hearts character?
-
Ha, "Remixed the chapter"! You get it??? Cos it's music based!!
...
I'm sorry I have nothing to say on the changes, that line just made me roll my eyes is all.

Played Identity V back when it first came out and kept playing right until the jumping Lizard killer dude came out. The controls are wonky but you get use to them after a time. The main problem I had with the game was, as you pointed out, the face camping. Every game was a face camp and every rescue was an instant tunnel. The killer wasn't punished at all for camping and considering even when I left there was really no way to reset generator (cypher decoding progress) progression it was an unfortunate way to play. Good concepts for survivors and killers, fun 2v8 mode, but yeah. Vastly different game.
Side note also sucked that the one killer I did like playing in that game was unable to join 2v8 because of their power being to hard to work into that mode. :(
The camping isn't helped by the fact that getting hit while interacting with anything, rescuing included, is an instant down. That's just straight up rewarding face camping.

Odd kink, but okay
-
I suggest killers be required to perform the Macarena before hooking a survivor to balance hooking speeds
-
This is accurate
-
I hope you slugged them to death
-
I agree, vanilla kicking is next to useless as it is right now.

You can't even start to tell me that Jeff in a Bear Onesie doesn't work, David maybe as a wolf. Jake gives me tiger vibes, but a deer works just as well. Felix definitely has a Unicorn onesie as his guilty pleasure too.
Is that all their fursonas?

It's not bad though I'd replace Urban Evasion and Deliverance, possibly replace Sprint Burst with Lithe so you have more control over when you dash.
-
Killers, please be considerate and stare at a wall while survivors perform their unhooks.
Thank you x
-
I'd rather not have racial slurs hurled at me by angry 12 year olds while I'm trying to loop the killer
-
The shock has to travel to the survivor before it hits them, it's not instant the moment you use the ability, which is why there's a delay. I'd recommend using it sooner than you'd think you need it as a precaution.
Other than that, I'd say he could use a way to traverse the map quicker.

In my experience, facing a toxic killer is extremely rare. Almost impossible, actually. But I do have a very, very old story, back from when I first started playing DBD. I was having a very good day playing, with lots of challenging and fun trials. Suddenly, an Infinite Mending Legion pops out of nowhere. I believe I don't even have to continue.
Infinite Mending Legion? I don't think I've faced one before, what's that entail?

One moment, I'll answer your question once I'm finished reading Pride and Prejudice while sipping on my vintage red wine and listening to Moonlight Sonata.

The Entity feeds off pain, suffering, despair, and other negative emotions. It wanted it a meal and you handed it three M&Ms. Of course it is displeased. You ended the game as fast as you could so all your emblems are garbage. MMR has nothing to do with it.
Next time play with your food a little bit better.
That's a good response, I like it, though at the end of the day this is a *game* we're playing, and it feels as if you get punished for playing too well or for having unskilled opponents. I remember I almost depipped because nobody bothered unhooking, went down in seconds and let everyone die on first hook.

I hope you showed your dominance and stayed there the whole match until the trapper had to remove it to get to you.
You're goddamn right I did.

If you want something that goes well with Oppression I recommend Surveillance since it applies to all regressing generators, whether you kicked them or not.

Ive noticed a trend that as soon as a killer gets a nerf, Killers cannibalize survivor perks till those get nerfs, then survivors cannibalize a killer until that gets nerfed etc. It wont end until dbd is basically just a grey blob with only one button to interact with it.
I've wondered about this before... How long until everything has been nerfed into the ground and all perks and killers become next to useless?

Ideally it would influence future game decisions. For instance, if thousands of survivors are rating 1/5 when playing against Huntress with iri hatchet and infantry belt they'd look into it and reworm those add ons or some such, but honestly there's a good chance it doesn't do jack.

I kinda can understand the killer's frustration, after all you brought a map offering for the most survivor sided map in the entire game.
Wishing death on someone's family because they brought a Game map is a bit much. You know, just a tiny bit.

"are you guys intentionally making the tome grindy af so that people like me buy auric cells to raise it"
Yes. Yes they are. The tome and cosmetic stuff go by mobile game rules: sure, you could work for it, but maybe slip us a little somethin-somethin and we'll make it go by faster.

This... This better be bait.. .

Here, let me climb up on your high horse to give you a cookie.

I actually played Chest Defender Bubba for the first time the other day.
The survivors didn't like it.
-
I honestly prefer Dying Light over Ruin, just because I don't like hex perks, especially not after the Undying nerf.
-
I've noticed the same, it's odd. I've noticed gens popping a lot quicker lately too. Ever since the 4.5.0 update things have felt a lot worse for killers, though I'm not sure why an update would bring sweatier matches.
