  • The worst ever company. It happened already 3 weeks but they do not give a ######### about this

  • They are always interested in killer main complaints and killer main cryings :D What about shelter woods? hawkins? Nothing.

if that happens, they're just making this game a mindless hook simulator. when that happens, they ruin the game because chases are the most fun part about this game. especially as survivor, repairing generators is not fun. if that happens i'm out even with all the money and time i've spent on this game but im not playing a damn hook simulator/dying simulator.

I think it is. So I am not having fun as much as I had before playing as survivor. The beautifull parts of the game is chases and mind-games in my opinion. Not doing gens, not gen rush, not immediate hooks.

Which doesn't matter when you look at the raw facts that a key let's any number of people leave immediately with no counter.

Where as a mori at least requires you to hook, and re find the same person, as well as waste a potential offering instead of an addon.

They're both a little op, but keys are definitely worse than moris. One does essentially the same thing as tunneling, where the other let's X number of survivors bypass the gate at any given point after 0-5 gens are done. Even if the killer is doing well, 0 gens done, 3 are dead and they FOUND AND CLOSED the hatch, a key makes that meaningless.

Oh and I'm not one of the "trillion killer mains" (which is a ridiculous exaggeration btw), I play both, and more survivor than killer.

Where as a mori at least "requires you to hook, and re find the same person". Bro I am serious it is not hard. I do not know how you play killer but I rely on myself and I can tell you that I find survivors after I hook them and down the same one. You get a notification after someone is unhooked, stratchmarks and bloods. Btw I am playing at red rank as killer. It is not hard to tunnel and get the second down.

  • @Nameless said:

Why does it matter in the first place which one of the 2 is more broken? They're both items/offerings that can shift the end result of the game drastically and the other side can do very little about it leaving them with frustration. Yes Mories can theoretically be used straight away, while keys are more of an endgame kinda thing. Then again, keys completely bypass the 3 gen strategy etc... You can only get Mories in the bloodweb, while keys can be found in chests and add ons can make it so you don't lose that key on death or escape. Using a Mori punishes the killer while keys reward the survivors and on and on it goes...

My point is that there are positives to both and you can keep discussing which positive is better than the other and which one is stronger but in the end it shouldn't matter. Both should go.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1185891#Comment_1185891

You do realize that "not letting survivors complete gens" is as much of an argument as "just don't let the killer down you when he wants to mori you". It's a bad argument... Especially when stopping gens from getting done actually doesn't do anything. The hatch spawns every single game and the game doesn't care whether you deleted those survivors from existence and 5 genned them or they got every gen done. As long as the hatch spawns, a key can be used.

No I am not telling these things from nothing. The game mechanichs help killers to catch survivors. I also play as killer at red ranks. I do pressure by tunneling(I down immediatelly and let them on the ground so that other survivors will not be working on the gens at least not all of them)-slugging and not chaasing a stronger survivor a lot. So by this way I do not let them do gens. I do not camp, I just go check the gens. I am also rank-1 survivor and believe me when the killer wants to tunnel you, you do not have so many choice. Soon or late you will be dead. There pallets will be consumed, bloodlust will be activated, the windows will be blocked. It is easy to tunnel and get the second down immediately after you hook survivors. I also take into account BT's so I am not suffered DS and BT as killer. And keys are all about teammates. If teammates are not usefull believe me because of not enough gens are completed, your key is nothing but a trash :D But I do believe that I used my moris when I played as killer. But when I took a key, I did not escape through the hatch as much as I used my mori when I was killer. I am not saying keys are weak. But I am telling moris are a bit stronger than keys

  • In my opinion, devs wanna make chases a bit shorter for survivors and make them weaker. Instead winning chases they wanna make survivors do their objective(doing gen). If they are in a chase, devs want killers to finish chases a bit earlier. I think they moslty want survivors to do gens and be passive as much as they can against to killers. The only thing they can neither doing gens or being caught by killer after a while. So they nerfed ruin. But not only ruin, also they nerfed survivor perks and buffed some killers.

  • No exact comment. It depends on how you played, how other survivors played in those matches. And the person who comments on this should be experienced a bit so he can decide whether it is a strategy. In my opinion there is a thin line between those things. It seems to me right to tunnel if survivors are salty. If it is neccessary still you may tunnel. It depends on the conditions, players that you played against. I can not directly say that tunneling is bad, salty or I can not claim that you are tunneler, bad killer. I did not play against you soo, I can not really write my ideas about you that I did not experience.

  • @HollowsGrief said:

No they are not. Moris can be countered in one way or another, even if it is extremely hard to counter, keys cannot be counted at all.

If killers are tunneling hard, there is no way to counter for moris. Keys can be countered not letting survivors complete gens. For 4 alive, you need to complete 5 gens, or 3 alive you need to complete 4 gens, for 2 alive you need to complete 3 gens, for 1 alive is all about chance. And after you completed enough gens, you'll need to look for the hatch. And the killer will be still around so... I strongly think that ebony mori is stronger than keys. If killer hooks 1 survivors, he will be on the hook and the other 1 survivor will save hooked one. So 2 people are not working on the gen. And if the killer tunels the unhooked one and mori him, it will get harder for survivors to complete enough gens while the killer will be chasing another survivor

  • Thank you guys...At least I am sure that they removed it. Unfortunatelly, there is not any explanation official whether it is temporary. I hope, they'll explain

I used to think using OoO was a risky idea but I was wrong. You're 100% right the information you get from seeing him is too strong. A non experienced killer has no chance, good killers often test chase me at the beginning then I'm free the whole game. Ds feels necessary tho for the endgame. 'Too' strong because the killer only knows where you are when you want him to in my opinion it's kinda unfair. I disagree about using self care tho. In a 2v1 situation it's good but 3v1 or 4v1 self-care is the worst choice cauz too slow

Exactly same :D OoO is OK but sometimes when all pallets are dropped and there is not good place to loop OoO may be risky especially If you are 2v1 and the hatch is spawned, it may be hard to search for hatch because you should not look at the killer. DS is not overpowered only in endgame but you know there are killers tunneling hardcore, I never take it off. Also some killer perks may be really strong in the end game

Yeah that’s basically what I’m saying. Whether they dc or hook suicide or go afk the end result is the same - a crappy game for those who are left. Getting those few extra points means very little.

And from now on, I gave up playing DBD as survivor after 1000 hours. Whenever I play as survivor alone or with a SWF team, the killers tunnel, camp and slugg hardcore(the rank does not matter at red ranks or at yellow ranks they are all the same.) and there is nothing that survivors can do about it. I am kinda bored. I will play other 5vs5 games. At least when people are getting scummy and toxic, I have choice to kick their asses. But here just watching them putting on the hook and slugging me...The devs are never going to solve the background issues I think. Instead balancing, they just make it worse all time.

    Grow up.

2 survivors gave up instantly. Does it matter if it's a disconnect or a suicide? either way they've thrown the game in an instant.

I would have preferred the last 2 to disconnect than for me to have to walk around the map picking off 2 players who stand no chance. It felt like a chore. I couldn't be bothered waiting for them to do gens, but felt bad since they were the ones who got screwed the hardest. I'd rather they or myself just quit and get it over with.

You can not change their perspective. They think so simply. The point is that nothing has changed with the penalty system so... Unneccessary and not a better system in my opinion. No need to do it. It does not make sense after they DC or kill themselves on the first hook. The result is same. You get extra few BPs that is it. They have to look at the background of the issue. Why people DC? Not always just because of they are downed immediately.

Yes I do but no meme same perks all I do is turn on try hard mode x) When I'll be good enough I'll try object+ no mither. What about you, do you have some cool interesting builds?

I choose OoO, No Mither, DS and DH(sometimes SB). Actually being able to know where the killer is not bad. I know he knows where you are but also you know it too. At least you can be sure where he comes from so depending on this. You can loop him. I love this build and I usually play try-hard with this build like you :)))

-Head On, Quick & Quiet, DS, Iron Will(Sometimes Inner Strength)

    -Deliverence, DS, Unbreakable, Sprint Burst

If I play with SWF to escape

-DH, Iron Will, DS, BT(Resilence,Self-Care,Adrenalin may be as alternative).

I can make the killer lost me and Self-Care works for me. I use it to take a hit for my teammates after I heal myself.

Yes it's a great way to resume it. With bond I can become the 4th of a random 3 players swf easily. I'm currently trying bond + object it's 10x stronger than premonition+ bond.

What about no mither? :D Do you play with it?

  • @NoMitherPlayer said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1094946#Comment_1094946

Run bond for a month. If it's not enough 2 (Add premonition helps) and your movement will change. Because you're less afraid of running anywhere with premonition, your running movement will become more like a circle. In fact, bond is 36 meters x4. (36 meters front, behind and sides) Basically every map is like a circle and by using in-game infos (Where gens were, survivors, empty areas) You already can limit the areas you will need to bond around while you're searching. In a small map, 6secs max to find the killer or someone. In a big map, 20secs max. Mostly 10. Chases, gens, it's mostly in the middle line of the map. ^^

It makes sense right now :D It depends on you are playing in SWF team or alone actually. If you play in SWF then you do not need it. But otherwise, for sure it may be usefull as well :))

  • @NoMitherPlayer said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1091779#Comment_1091779

Idk instead of DS I run premonition in swf. With bond combined, I basically track everyone and know everything. Because of premonition I avoid getting in a chase and would have need DS 1 time/20 games. Which is not worth it at all. Then I use bond to help if a player is getting tunneled or for healing.

I 90% use DS :D But on the other hand, bond distance is limited. I do not use it just because of this. That would be better I think

  • @NullEXE said:

If you are in a SWF it should ensure you de-pip

If you are solo it should ensure you black pip or less.

Killers want so much about survivors. You can not muscle in on what survivors do. Seriously, it is becoming annoying. Killers want so much without looking what they can do. "You can not DC, you can not ######### on the hook bla bla...". Please do not take this game that much serious. We do not have to play the game to the end. Killers can tunnel, slug and camp, so survivors can kill themselves on the hook I think it is really fair just as what killers do. It may be a tactic to give the hatch to another survivor. We may have emergency situations or phone call, we may just wanna get in another match... So you should not force people to play if they do not want. You will get what you need to get. I mean hook bloodpoints and kills. It is better way than they DC. But people do not get that DC penalty is useless about suiciding on hook. I mean we can understand from here that nobody can force someone to play the match if it is getting boring for them. Even you bring DC penalty, people will go AFK or kill themselves on the hook. The problem is deeper about these kind of things I think :P So guys please stop requesting people to penalize everything like SWF, Gen Rush, NOED, slug, camp, tunnel, suiciding on the hook. It may better to learn how to deal wtih them instead wanting penalties.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1088265#Comment_1088265

Honestly I rather have 4 survivors with the meta build. It's way easier. I very rarely trigger DS, borrow 0 times it's actually helpful for the killer, unbreakable I never slug more than 2 and it's always quick. Adrenaline can be a risk but til now it's fine.

Adrenaline=NOED I think they are the same. There may be counter for NOED but the only usage of adrenaline is when you complete all the gens so... DS is not a problem if a killer does not tunnel but since killers are tend to tunnel and love it, DS works. BT is again not a problem if you do not tunnel or you can choose hitting the unhooker instead the unhooked survivor. Meta build is not that much strong as people thought. But DS, SB and Iron Will are really good perks in my opinion. They have lots of potential usually

  • I am a survivor main. I do use DS all the time because I hate getting down suddenly. I never take it off. But adrenalin/noed/unbreakable is usually more situational. I may never use them if neccessary conditions do not exist. I do not like playing try-hard I mean which perks I will use changes depending on how I will play. I love trying diffrent builds depending on their usage and goal. Also I try to improve myself especially without really good perks like Iron Will. I run OoO, No Mither, DS and DH. :))

  • The NOED is OK in my opinion. It is not because of NOED, it is because of bad teammates. For me as SWF or randoms, I take totem cleansing stuff seriously instead doing gens. I usually count them and memorize where I broke them and still look for remaining totems. Usually those randoms cleansed the others so... If I can not find the other totems or I am not sure that all of totems are not cleansed, I just try not to take a hit before the killer catch me after finishing the last gen. As SWF we count totems that we break and even we have opportunity to finish the gen, we let it %95 percent to be sure the last totem is cleansed. Then we pop the gen and escape safely. There is an actual counter on NOED. But the problem is that you are with bad teammates. I mean I usually guess whether the killer has NOED according his playing style so I play depending on this about totems. It is not a bad idea to put NOED since there are smart survivors, they think that they need to cleanse all totems before the last gen is popped

  • -Hitboxes are worse

    -Killer grabs are not working

    -Chainsaw hitboxes are worse

    -Huntress hitboxes are the worst

I tried it with my friend in KYF and also in matches I was recording video. After the matches we played I have seen so many hatches thrown hit me lots of meters away from me without touching me without even near me. My friend was in shock also. They need to fix it dude

  • @BulldogXL said:

The penalty seems pretty drastic, especially considering how many times the game disconnects on its own. Face it, DBD is bug-riddled. Any survivor wishing to avoid the penalty can simply run up to the killer and let him do his thing. The other survivors are still left in the lurch and the intentional DC'er is out of the match. I don't see how the penalty solves the problem.

The DC survivor just wastes 30 seconds of the killer and leaves the game. So the other survivor's game is ruined. So what happened? Nothing. What is the difference? Only 1 stack barbeque or hook point for the killer. Both sides ruin the game like hook suicide, going AFK and getting some snack from the kitchen :)) The actual problem is to determine "Why" people DC

  • @Mert_MK said:

    Nothing will be fixed.

Survivors will kill themselves on hook instead or go afk, same with Killers.

Both sides are gonna try their hardest to make the match unfun for the other side. While penalties were active, my friend got slugged and teabagged by a Pig until he bleed out, killer even admit he did that because he's aware he can't dc without a penalty now.

And when i played Killer i had a SWF last second switch to toolboxes and bring a Strode Key.

Should have looked into why people DC in the first place and fix the ######### game. This is going to kill the game.

Exactly the way how you told. I mean, nobody can not force somebody to play this game if the game is being ruined for him. Since there are lots of unbalanced things, bugs and toxicity in the game, there must be choice to leave the game. Or at least a new system should be which allows other survivors to give up the game. Like surrender, the game should be end there if there is a DC. Making it as penaltly still does not solve the problems. Especially willingly leaving a survivor bleeding out on the ground should be fixed. Some killers abuse the penalty system. Before everything and penalty system, people should ask why people DC. I know some people do it just because of they get down but...

I get what you're saying but even before ruin change there were boosted survivors in red ranks

Yeah there are more boosted survivors at red ranks now :D

  • Bro :D My departmant is computer engineering and I know Java. The diagram just reminds me the programs that I wrote xD But umm anyways, it is good point. DS is not OP and easily counterable for me. It does not bother me if I play killer because I know what to do also as survivor I always use it :D

  • Wow the ideas are cool actually and better :D In my opinion the perk should be like:

1-You start the trial injured but on the health bar, killer can not see that you are injured. If the killer see you with eyes that you are injured but not injured on health bar, he may understand that you have No Mither.

2-Once you picked yourself up by yourself for the first time, the health bar will look like it is supposed to be "broken" status whole match.

3-Iron Will should be its ability for %100 or you should pick yourself up faster like "unbreakable" perk.

So you have unlimited chance to pick yourself up(it is better than unbreakable at this point) but you are injured whole game(it is worse than unbreakable at this point). But at least the killer should not understand it really early. ://

  • @Techn0 said:

I feel like it would be easier to just say "Decisive strike will deactivate if another survivor is hooked" Still works as an anti-tunnel perk. Still has a long timer to ensure it works against tunneling, but you'll next to never have a situation where you didn't tunnel and still get DS'd for just running into them.

But what if the killer downs you when you are unhooked and sluggs you then he downs the unhooker(with a little camp it is possible to get a free hit and down unhooker fast)and when he suddenly hook him and pick you, your decisive strike would not work. So you are tunneled and the perk did not work. I think DS is OK. The killer has to start putting pressure on survivors from the beginning or at least in the middle of the game but not at the end of the. So If you already let it at the end of the game, there is for sure low possibility for you to get kill.

  • @Archimedes5000 said:

Yeah, but the original purpose of No Mither is ability to pick yourself up, but with a big downside. Except the downside makes the pick up part completly useless, because killer will never slug you if they know that you have it lol.

Using it as poor mans OoO or as a Hard Mode to motivate yourself are also options, but this is not what this perk was supposed to do lol

Well in that case that perk would be better. I mean you are right about it. It has too much downsides. I mean at least survivors would have had picking themselves up faster than usual speed. Or the killer should not see that survivor has no mither for the first time(by looking survivor health state bar on the left side of) until the killer see that the survivor is injured in the game while chasing him or the survivor pick himself up by using his ability for once, then the health bars may look like as they are supposed to be. Otherwise the killer wil already understand that he has no mither so the killer would not slug him. I actually did not really pick myself up. If I give you a percentage that would be %10 chance for me to pick myself up before the killer hooks me depending on the matches I played before. Even he sluggs me, it is really hard to pick myself up untill he pick me because it is really slow. It may be faster so the perk would be more useful in my opinion. Also there is not completely Iron Will effect. So that is also so bad. %50 groaning. I do not know why but Iron Will should be already its ability.

This one of the secrets of the universe.

    Other ones are:

    • Why is there a BP cap?
    • What is the purpose of Animation Enchancement?
    • Why OoO users complain about tunneling?
    • Why do things like No Mither, Monstrous Shrine, Cruel Limits and Speed Limiter even exist?
    • Are Splinter offerings supposed to work or not?

And these are not even all of them...

I am one of users that use no mither almost in lots of matches. It is just a challange for me. I do love chases and I wanna make the killers chase me. So I run OoO and no mither to encourage the killer about chasing me. Once you learn how to play wih No Mither, after you take it off you will feel yourself like you have 2 lives :D Now I am actually better at chases. Because there is no 2nd chance so you have to be carefull, put a distance between you and the killer all the time, you have to be aware of where to go and loop. So I am used to escape with that perk. Also killers who has ability to down survivors with 1 hit like tier 3 myers, billy, bubba, plague(after being sick), ghost face, oni do not bother me at all :D I think every perk has another special usage, perspective and goal to use but it is discussed how efficient and useful they are.

As long as they can run gens as they like, Ebony Mori's are fine.

You see how bad that argument is?

"As long as ebonys are, keys will be fine." Same mentality :D But you do not have unlimited moris on the other hand survivors have unlimited chance to do gen rush without any offering. What will happen when moris are consumed or what if you face with really good survivors than you can not even hook some of them... Also there are keys that survivors can bring. DS is perfectly OK. Because even tunnelers consume DS knowingly if the survivor is good he can still make another chase and earn time and also waste the killer's time. I all the time made the chases longer with DS if the killer tunnels me. So I never play without DS. It just gave me another chance if I am being tunneled hardly.

A lot of people say old ruin kept boosted players out of red ranks but that's not true, im a rank 2 survivor who can't hit great skillchecks and im just ok in chases, new ruin has made it a bit easier but I was red ranks before the change, the real issue is just that the ranking system is garbage

Dude actually new ruin made this:

-Now at red ranks there are exactly very good killers, but not boosted ones.

-Now at red ranks there are also boosted survivors.

Sorry to say it but I was playing and I saw lots of survivors at rank-3. They were just doing gens and hiding. But if you ask how they were in chases, horrible. They took hit and then directly dropped the pallet against huntress. I mean they play like green ranks :/

Hahaha also if I die, I would not mind. Sometimes killers just leave me and that makes me feel bad. I knowingly run no mither to encourage killers about chasing me and making easier to catch me for them. Also no mither improving my game. I was never a ruin Killer but damn ever since the update its like Survivors just want to do gens and not get chased any more. Yeah I understand gens are their objective. Hooks are Killers but I don't find in fun just camping hooks to get kills. I'm red rank Killer and I'm finding hard to even enjoy the game anymore. I just get Potatos that can't handle chases, Survivors with every Second chance perk DS and BT are overkill. Or I get Tools boxes and keys. I use to have fun in chases now I'm just rushing to kick gens facing hatch escapes.

Like Survivors Mains. I want to play the game to with having to be forced to slug, tunnel to get D's out the way, and camp hooks, I don't want have to plan a 3 gen Strategy every game.

I just want it to be like the old times I guess.

I dont know about others but I actually do love chases since there is nothing special holding m1 and pressing space whole game. I wanna make mindgames and be active in the game by doing something different than gen rushing. So I run object of obsession and no mither to make the killer chase me :D

I made a post here on these forums saying the similar thing: 4 vs 1 is the problem. I don’t think it is possible to ever truly balance this game.

I believe this is why we see either the killer destroy and get 4K, or survivors destroy and all escape. I rarely see even matches it is usually lopsided.

That doesn’t mean BHVR should stop trying or the game sucks. I love the game! But I don’t know if there will ever be a day where we can say the game is finally balanced for both sides, etc.

Hopefully making all the maps smaller and more balanced, random, etc for both sides will help. Buffing certain killers, etc.

Exactly, this game is not perfect or perfectly balanced but many things I love is in this game so... Devs should not stop trying to balance it but it will never be balanced perfectly. Because this game is improving and in every 2 months there are coming new killers, perks and survivors. So it is not a constant game. If it is not constant, there will always be new or unbalanced things which needs to be balanced. I love this game anyways, I am just hoping devs to fix bugs and balance things instead of bringing new killers, perks and map. Because new things are always risky. People will not have an exact idea unless they try them in long term(Not in PTB).

If that was true at two kills the game would go straight to the scorecard and say amazing killer victory gg everyone.

If survivors did 100% and didnt walk out. That's entirely on them.

    1

Tunneling camping and most recently slugging are universally despised among almost the entire survivors population. Playing this way your correct is the only way killers close the gap. But then everyone would have to admit that killers should tunnel survivors out and camp for a health state to make there obj match survivors.

    2

.6 on most killers it's not much.

Bloodlust helps but it's not a race it's a chase, so if they had the same speed the killer could never catch because they always start running before killer does to Avoid him.

    3

They do double up perks and your right, but it only takes one small game outta 12 to kill all hex perks.

2 or 3 DS or DH BT means tons of extra chases and free hits.

Not all SWF is always something I like to say "make freinds" in response because in a competitive online ranked game theres no reason other then urself to purposely give up ur team advantage.

    4

I'd like to remove killer moris to be honest and put them as a reward for all 3rd hook kills. And in the same stroke kill keys off because they cause the same frustration for both sides.

    5

Only some powers from some killers

If you notice the top 3 killers aren't the top because of power, only because of the movement speed within ther power. Speed is the issue any killers that approach a different strategy like stealth or status effects suffer in other categories in equal measure

Being asymmetry killers shouldn't have vast disadvantage they should be the power roll. The mountin teamwork overcomes

    Everything else you said,

    you right

and all of your suggestions for improvement are helpful. If I could upvote more then once I would. Thank you for your time

There are tons of thing that they need to fix in this game. I am just saying that they wanna balance it. It is not balanced and working on %100 but t I mean since ruin was nerfed at red ranks still killers get 4K or 0K. 2K does not mean that the killer loose or win. But If you get 4K(which is hard at those ranks for killer if they are facing with good SWF team) surelly there must be different rewarding. You may have noed and blood warden so it makes a suprise for the end game. Trust me I have seen lots of matches that we loose at the end. If you make enough pressure on survivors, you may high chance to win even they completed their objectives.

    1-

Well If the killer does it without reason and regardless then it is despised by many of them. I am survivor main but I play as killer as well. After I started to play as killer I understand killers and why they tunnel and camp in some scenarious. And I am not mad If I am tunneled and camped. Especially if the gens are popped really fast. I mean it is the way how you play. You need to do the right thing to make pressure without listening everyone. I think in this forum lots of people are killr mains so they will say the same thing about tunneling, camping or sugging. It is allowed in this game and not a ban reason because it is situational tactic. You have an option. So devs do not forbid it but they made perks for survivors to make it harder for killers. I am not telling you to facecamp. But depending on the popping gens, you may try to tunnel. At least, you can hit the unhooked person and let him down(if he has DS), and go after the unhooker. He will stay on the ground and someone will mess with him instead of doing gens. And at that time you will be chasing another survivor. Also you may make far camp and get free hit from the unhooker. I do not know :D It is how I play and how I put pressure on survivors. And in my opinion it works.

    2-

For sure killers have to be faster. I am not complaining about it. I just said that there are some game mechanics and basic rules. There are + and - for survivors and killers. And I am not thinking about why. I think they are all okey since I played both sides. I mean if a survivor is injured also he will be bleeding and groaning(if he does not have Iron Will). You can listen voices, sounds and track bloods or stratch marks. But as a survivor, they also need to know where the killer comes from to do something otherwise It makes the game unfair for them. Imagine you are against something that almost knows where you are and you can not understand where it comes from. It would be frustrating. And not only bloodlust, also there is entity block on the windows. You can hide your red stain by moonwalking. These are basic game rules and mechanics that I am used to it. I think they are OK.

3- I know about DS and BT which usually make killers frustrated. But that is how devs make it. They do not completely prevent gen rushing, camping, slugging(they also support it with Infectious Fright and Oni), tunneling. They just make perks to prevent them a little bit for both sides. But as I said, If you put on enough pressure at the beginning that will be better. Instead of hitting the unhooked survivor you may hit the unhooker. You may wait a little bit before hitting the unhooked survivor(untill BT timer will end) then just down him and let him stay on the ground instead of picking(Because of DS). Still good killers do not suffer from DS or BT since they know that to do about it.

    4-

You are right. Both of them are changing the the whole game if they are used in the correct way. But in my opinion still moris are better than keys. Because you need to complete 5 gens if there are 4 survivors alive(exit gates are powered in this situation why would use the key and escape from the hatch xD), 4 gens if there are 3 survivors, 3 gens if there are 2 survivors. Also you have to find the hatch. For mori it is enough for killer to hook a surivor for once and then tunnel and you get rid of 1 of them. Well, I do not have problem with moris and keys anymore(I used to be really frustrated and find them unfair :P). I actually find them funny for both sides. They make the game interesting. Especially hatch escapes with key.

    5-

I do not know the top 3 killers but probably Oni, Billy and Freddy. But at red ranks huntress is pretty strong even she is slower than other killers. I think fast killers are chosen not because of winning the chases. Because of the gen pressure. Oni, Billy and Freddy are really good to check the gens and put on pressure. I think playing and winning as a killer is usually about putting pressure on survivors. Then other thing just come after it. But still good killers can put pressure on survivors with different killers. Specific builds, add-ons make the game interesting.

Well as it is said, asymmetric. If the game was like CS:GO(5vs5) there would not be any problem. The problem is that is really hard to balance the game for both sides because of its nature. There will be disadvantage for killers and survivors in different topics. For example, 3 people are gen rushed and 1 survivor is caught and camped and died. It is not fair for that survivor. For killer 4 people are doing things together and well-organized. It is unfair for killer but It happens. I think that is because of the game. There will be different advantages and disadvantages for both sides. The game will never be balanced. But at least if people understand each other(both killers and survivors), at least the toxicity and complaints about the balance of the game in this forum will decrease. But for this, people need to get rid of "Killers" and "Survivors" mentality I mean "we" and "they" mentality...

I am glad If I can help or make a different perspective for you. You may check good youtubers, streamers who play as killer main. So you may see different builds and game plays and how the good killers come through some of problems

    Point 1

    S-6 obj

So gens are 80seconds each plus 20 for the gate so each survivor is responsible for 105 seconds of an objective or 7 minutes for the group. AT BASE

    Killer-12 obj (each hook)

So it all comes down to this 35 seconds for find, a chase, a down and a hook is expected for a killer each time. 12 times with no mistakes to get a 4k win. Dispite how the last guy gets free hatch

    Point 2

Survivors have a better field of vision. Killers are locked into a small first person window

    Point 3

Survivors have 12 perk slots as team to counter the killers meager 4 slots.

    Point 4

Survivors can each bring tools with ultra rare add ons while the killer can at most bring 2 if that killer has that many.

Survivors keep tools and addons at escape while the killer has to grind for his each and every match. Survivors can also gain tools within the match and leave with them.

    Point 5

Skill checks have visual and audio cues so after the first few hours of this game you shouldn't miss another one, making them irrelevant because they are so easy.

Terror radius and red stain help survivors locate the killer while the killer only has sounds of repair and crows but he triggers crows himself so they dont often help and take a while to respawn.

    Point 6

Teamwork like rotating chases, com communication, hook rush and body blocking are only some of the huge advantages that killers cant compete with.

    Rambles.

2k-2E is not how the game is made otherwise we would see the score screen at 2 kills.

Most arguments are modeled upon ranks, time played, or who mains what. I have played since launch and hit every rank on all characters each year I play both sides but 2019 que times have forced me to be killer more often rather then wait 20minutes a survivor match. So so so many stats are missing that players just dont have access too...

but 50% kill rate could mean 3 players get 4-k and 3 players get 0-K.

If you camp or tunnel with mori you can get a 1 kill almost every match. If you bring key or ask friends to dc you can get hatch every match. These do nothing for the quality of the game nor should we discuss balance on that or how top streamers play.

All killer perks have counters but maybe 1 and survivors don't have any perks that can be disabled by common killer action like hexes can.

If I'm missing something or I'm not understanding something please explain it the best you can.

Firstly do not you expect to get 4K. Devs wanna balance this game like 2 escape and 2 death. So even survivors completed their objectives 6/6 like %100, you can still complete yours, still get 4K maybe 2K. Sometimes survivors loose at the end game. There are some options for you to choose. Tunnel, slug and camp. If you tunnel or slug you may complete your objective faster than you think.

    Point-2

Killers run much faster than survivors. Killers can see stratch marks. This is not a reason to talk about it I think. This is just how the game goes on.

    Point-3

Even survivors have 12 slots, they usually use same perks. Because they need to use them to have better chance to survive. So you are not against 12 different perks. Iron Will or Dead Hard are generally used by survivors even they are SWF. So “12 perk slots” idea is not really logical to me. And every survivor does not play in a SWF team or does not play as a teamplayer. There is still huge population that plays as random. Many perks are not used in a team work. Many of them are personal perks. Like DS, self-care, iron will, DH, SB, quick and quiet, urban etc. So also you should think each survivornas a different player who tries to survive. Do not completely think them as a perfect team. They are also individuals who may focus on survive and escape instead of being efficient teamplayer.

    Point-4

As items or toolboxes, killer moris and some usefull or OP add-ons make sense in same degree in my opinion. If it bothers you, you may use franklins demise. I do not know. That should not make sense. Because this is how the game goes on. Many survivor items are not that much powerfull except keys(since insta heals are nerfed). Toolboxes may need some nerf.

    Point-5

Skill checks are not really important part of the game since there was not old ruin. So they are easy or not, in reality mind games, maps, offerings, strategies, builds and team works do matter. They are the important part of the game for survivors. I mean killers also do not do anything hard. Clicking mouse-1 and nothing more. Why would survivors have harder or challenging skill checks...

As I said there is something just because of that is the way how the game goes on. Killers have red stain but they are faster and they can see stratch marks and bloods. They have bloodlust mechanic in chases. Survivors have only perks while killers have also specific powers+ perks that can help them to track and down survivors easier. I am not complaining because that is the game. Just think them as simple elementary rules. If you do not like red stains or you think that helps survivors a lot, you may try to play as stealth killer. If you find survivors hardly, you may use doctor or freddy and make them scream or you may use perks like discordance, barbeque or infectious fright. There are lots of choices for you.

    Point-6

That is how the game is again. I know that may be unfair for you or other killers. But it is an asymetric game 1vs4. If there is a person more than 1, there will be communication for sure. If the communication starts, other things come after for sure. We just can not make the game 1killer vs 1 survivor. So even there are random survivors, there will be little communication with gestures or guesses to play it more efficiently against the killer. That does not mean the game is survivor sided. There are some advantages-disadvantages of playing killer and survivor. So... That is just the game and how the game is.

For others below your points, I may write much more than I think so I wanna end it here. There are hardnesses of playing as killer and being against 4 people. But also different hardnesses for survivors, too. Like getting tunneled and facecamped. Red ranks may be sweaty. There are lots of things to talk so... :D

Yep. Some killers are pathetic... It's a problem for allot of players i've read.

Sometimes they do it because they chase a survivor for very long time, gens are popped and killers are tilted. So when they catch the survivor, they facecamp him. But I also play as killer and when I can not catch a survivor or hit him in 1 minute, I just let him go and chase others. There usually must be somebody else that is easier for me to catch. If you can not catch a survivor for a long time, go on another survivor. Sometimes that survivor may be playing better and more experienced than you. Why would I kill my chance? Maybe other survivors are bad but they are just rushing gens. So I can try my luck with weaker survivors and have more chance to win the game.

  • They really have to fix facecamping. I am sick of it and tired of getting facecamped. Especially without any reason. We played today and 3 of us are facecamped one by one. Without any single gen is completed from the first hook of first down the oni just facecamped. I do not understand how killers enjoy it. They paid for this game and just to stare at someone's face on the hook. :DD Woow how funny... If it goes on survivors will tend to hide more and complete gens as fast as they can just not to take risk of getting facecamped or tunneled. Because some killers just do it not because of gens are popped. There was not even 1 gen completed.

Killer is ezpz lemon squeezy at yellow and brown ranks even after Ruin. If you rank up and the competition is too fierce, you'll just be knocked down a notch. Just don't be upset if you lose a couple of games here and there until you get deranked, or if matchmaking pulls the occasional fast one. Just take it as a test and a change of pace. You'll be back in shallower waters very fast.

On the other hand, if you wanna be a rank 1 killer, then you have to accept that things aren't going to be as casual. It's the way it is.

The talking about the big streamers is all connected to the Ruin nerf and it hasn't much to do with what seems to bother you. When they nerfed Ruin, the outcry was that the devs were balancing the game around the bad players instead of the best ones. It's an argument that kinda backfires, and that's why you see the comments about the big streamers as a counterexample, because they are in the pool of the best players and they consistently smash as killers even without ruin.

The last paragraph is so so so true and real that there is nothing to say above this :))

How else will noob survivors learn their lesson?

I gotta wait more than a few minutes to get in a game? Not my fault so I'm gonna have fun however I want. Toxic people get what they deserve. It's my right to play as I want. I paid for this game, too. SWFs are toxic. I just want to play the game and they are tryharding bringing toolboxes and perks that speed up the game. Why even q if your gonna end the game immediately?

At least if I facecamp I get content outside of the round. I'll get profile comments and post game messages. It's just a LOL. Why do people care so much about a game? Losers if you ask me. You can't play toxic and genrush then me mad about me doing something not even as bad.

Well I also play as killer but I do not enjoy if I facecamp. Toxicity is I think something that ruins other's game. Facecamp, too much slugging, t-bag, click-click sound with flashlights, try-hard builds, gen rush...If you enjoy facecamping, survivors will be tend to t-bag you and behave more toxic...

  • @Blueberry said:

    I'd say Billy.

Every single Billy match is the same slug fest with IF. That tends to cause a lot of DC's.

Exactly. I do not actually respect slugging when it is used unneccessarily, with a build and from the beginning of the game. Just killers who like self aggrandizement and being toxic usually bring it. In other scenarios surelly it is OK to slug, tunnel or camp. I also DC in this condition. I hate being on the ground and doing nothing. So I DC. Neither me nor the killer will get that much BP.

  • @Amber_Myers21 said:

I've reached green rank killer and the survivors are so toxic not all of course. what should I do about it? Besides quitting. Don't wanna quit cuz people like my DBD streams and VODs.

Well I decreased my rank. I am actually rank-1 survivor. But I decreased my rank to green ranks to play with my low ranked friends(If I match with them as a red ranked survivor, the killer will be red ranked and that will be hard for my friends). So I do not what toxicity is in your mind but I do flashlight save and try to them escape with BT. Maybe there may some people like that...

  • @ReallyBigShoe said:

I don't really see killers saying that. In fact, it's mostly survivors who want self care removed. If I'm in game (I play solo exclusively), and I have a team mate who is self caring in a corner when I'm on the hook, I just struggle and die on hook. 1/4 of our team is useless at that point.

It is just about that your teammate is bad. As I mentioned usually good survivors do not bring "self-care". The problem is not because of the perk, when it is neccessary even I am injured instead of healing(even I have self-care or medkit) I go for the save. Playing as random, I also care about the other survivors's health bar when he is hooked. If I am sure that he is camping a little bit, I am injured and if I do not have BT time I just do not go for the save. Because I knew that I will make unsafe unhook and I also may not even unhook him and go down easily

  • @asergioam said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1038372#Comment_1038372

And if it's plague, it's literally a useless perk slot. Lots of killers have been 1 hitting survivors moving from one to another. Survivors waste time running until they realize killer changed target, then self care themselves. Someone goes down and gets hooked, they go for the save, get hit in the process, etc... and leaves 1 person doing gens. Self care, like most perks, is only good when used correctly and that's why I actually think it's a bad begginers perk because it creates bad habbits.

You are also right. I used to use self-care a lot when I started to play DBD as a new survivor. After I took it off, I would not play well for a while. But then I realized, it is usually not an usefull perk. Especially against steal killers who run "a nurse is calling" it may be dangerous as well :D

  • @Rivyn said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1038375#Comment_1038375

Certain things, we killer mains want nerfed. Everything? No. And certainly not Self Care. That's in a good spot. Perks like DS and BT? Those, we want looked at. Again, not SC. I use it myself when I take a break from Killer, since I don't play on a team, and thus need to rely on myself.

DS is okey. In my opinion %100 okey. If a killer downs the unhooked survivor in 60 minutes, it means that the killer tunnels him. If is not only me mentioning, BHVR said the same. I was tunneled so hard every match with a logical reason or without. So I usually have it. And BT... It is also necessary. In my opinion DBD has 2 problems.

    1-Gen Rushing

    2-Tunnel & Camp

I think toolboxes should be nerfed a little bit and the gen repair time should be longer. Because it forces some killers to tunnel and camp. If the killer is really closer to the hook like 5-10 meters(I do not know which number should be exaclty) then the life bar should not even decrease. The game mechanics are so broken. At this point, they never nerf DS or BT because they do not bring a mechanic to prevent killers from tunnel. So they just make it as perks which help survivors to avoid being tunnelled. In this conditions, I think they are neccessary. But I also understand how the gen rush is bad. It makes me desperate and force me to tunnel. But as I said, there are still lots of killers who tunnel and camp without necessary reason.

  • @Rivyn said:

I'm sorry, but who said SC needs a nerf? A rank 18 killer with three games under their belt?

I also play as killer but I just do not get why killer mains want everything to be nerfed...

  • @hex_genrush said:

I don’t know how many times I see killers saying self care needs a nerf, it doesn't it’s a ######### perk that takes 32 seconds to heal if all 4 survivors are running this perk they are going to be busy healing, self care is a survivor perk crutch you do not need it

That is the reason why good survivors almost never use self-care. When killer is legion, it is unneccessary to heal. Against billy who actually uses chainsaw instead of m1 or Michael myers. Sometimes killers use sloppy butcher and thanatophobia. It is wasting a lot of time. Also there is another choice to heal up. Other survivors or better perks like "Inner Strength". So In my opinion self-care is not that much useful at better ranks

  • If the killer is too strong like oni, you just force survivors to do gen rush. They pick toolboxes DS,BT and prove thyself. They rush and escape. DBD has 3 major problems.

    1-Gen Rush

    2-Camp, Tunnel, Slug

    3-Toxicity

These are just because of the unbalanced killers and perks-add ons. They need to nerf oni. And make gen times a little bit longer. I was in oni matches today. All the time we were slugged. By cancelling his power when he pick up someone just makes killers slug survivors. People DC because they are slugged a lot, camped and tunneled. Usually killers tend to camp, tunnel when survivors are rushing gens doing them fast. So killer needs a pressure. These are all balance problems. The 3 major problems are just the results of unbalanced game. I will also kill myself on the hook. The oni is owerpowered. In 60 seconds after the game started, he got his power and slugged everybody. By the way were were all red ranks. rank1,rank3...He gains his power too quickly which is really boring. I am sure that devs are going to nerf him guys believe it or not. Spirit is nerfed(still powerful) but oni will be nerfed. So I am just waiting...

  • @Ascended4Head said:

    1. Perception is not always based on reality. We got hard numbers that show this game, is in fact, not killer sided. A kill ratio of almost 75 percent for most killers in no reality would make a game survivor sided, unless you think those numbers should be closer to 100 percent, which is another problem I'll detail later.
    2. Freddy is absolutely broken. For a forum that supposedly prays at the altar of balance, Freddy is blatantly imbalanced. He is a killer who can insta teleport to any generator on the map. Combine this with BBQ and Chili and you have a wall hack with teleportation. I could live with that though. Something that needs to be changed is fake pallets. The problem with fake pallets is that this is one the strongest defenses for a survivor. What else do they really have besides nerfed windows? So if you are a runner and try to be smart about it, something you do is plot your route to where pallets may be. Going to one of the only places with defenses and there not being a pallet, completely counteracts any "mindgames" or skill within the game. It also puts a further nail in the coffin for solo survivors.
    3. Many survivor perks need some love and attention. If you think the game is in a healthy state with a 75 percent kill rate and it actually needs to be more, please stop requesting increase to gen times or to more progress bar simulator. By far, the most boring thing in the entire world, is staring at a progress bars match after match. I really don't think increasing these would really make the game "fun" or "balanced", but will just make the game significantly less fun to play. With that said, many survivor perks need to be buffed. The devs need to make some perks that allow the survivor to play differently and allow more combinations that increase survival, or even just the fun factor. I feel the head on was a step in the right direction, but it still is an absolutely trash perk that takes way too long to get set.
    4. This is the major one. For many people who keep saying that killer is too weak, do not care about facts or balance - they only care about being able to reliably 4k every single game to be in the "power role". I said this 16 months ago and I'll say it again - many people who post on here will never be happy with the balance of the game until survivors have no defenses, no good perks, and all items are trash tier. That's not a meme, that's the reality that you can see here.

I honestly just hope the Devs try to move towards a philosophy of fun for both sides, rather than just trying to increase progress bar simulator and pad out 4k rates. Because the game is increasingly becoming less and less fun to play. Hits through pallets, wall hacks, constant insta-downs, increase in progress bar simulator, constant nerfing of perks, and not releasing perks that help to fundamentally change the way you play.

I am agree with you %100. Freddy was the weakest killer. It was necessary for him to be buffed. But they buffed too much. He is the strongest killer. Why?

    -Teleporting

(It has 2 different and good advantages.)

*Finding another survivor easily *Gen pressure

After hooking someone else with barbeque and chili. He will be chasing another survivor because others will be probably doing gens. At least one of them will be working on a gen when Freddy hooks someone. So he will see her and teleport to there. Start chasing suddenly.

Also another problem is high gen pressure. Come on guys. He will teleport to the gens. He will always have the gen pressure better than other killers. After hooking someone else, he will teleport to the gen and hit it with pop goes to weasle and then start chasing another one.

-Dream State & Traps, Fake Pallets

He puts survivors into the dream state when he hits. Or survivors will be in the dream state easily after some time automatically. It is not easy to wake up. The dream escape may be on the other side of the map. So doing gens or waking yourself from the dream state? Most of players would choose doing gens while they are in the dream state still instead of going to the longest distance and wake themselves up. Also whenever other survivor tries to wake you up it is getting increadibly longer. So if you can not get rid of this, then you will be slowed or get another hit because of the fake pallets. Even you are not in the dream state and he did not hit you, you are in chase and you will be in the dream state after a while automatically. Another problem is everything is slower in dream state. Freddies tend to use perks like "Dying light" and also some add-ons which makes the action time for survivors so much longer. The game is ultra slow now. Also some of killers put another add-on which prevents survivors to wake themselves from the dream state when they miss the skillcheck. All these things at the same time is so much for a killer even he is m1 killer.

    -Red Stain & Heartbeats

After you get a hit, you will be in dream state so you will not see the red stain and you will not be able to hear the heartbeats. It is too unfair. And think about killers in red ranks make so good mindgames and still walking by turning their backs. The heartbeat is important and it is more usefull than the lullaby.

This killer is unfair. He needs little nerfs. I am bored of seing Freddy at red ranks.(One of the reasons why I do not play at red ranks anymore. I am bored of seing same killers every single match. And so unenjoyable to play against Freddy especially.) Also the dream state effect is tiring my eyes and disgusting :D
