I make people DC with him all the time.

Because you shouldn‘t pip every game. 2k being the average means 2k is a draw. Why should you pip with a draw as if you won that match?
He's stating this due to what the devs said in regard 2 Escape and 2 die.

If you see a survivor run to the hook go to another hook simple
Yeah but its not like hooks are close together. Now Survivors have another second chance and now killer has to waste more time chasing. When u play killer time isn't on your side. I feel bad for New people learning killer. To much to try to learn in short matches. Us OG only need to adapt. We already know are tools and tricks.

I think being able to break pallets while reeling is a good idea, but he should be a 115% killer. Either that or make it significantly harder to break the chain so they at least have an opportunity to go around short loops that'd be unsafe for any other killer anyway.
U earned a Vote Up from me. I was thinking the same. I had a bag a salt coming into this lol.

Nope. Why am I going to buy a Killer that takes
4 hits to down a Survivor with his ability if you want to call it that. The only reason I would buy him is for the hex totem perk that only has 1 min game play.
At least survivors get great perks.😥😭 I'm just dreading the abuse of the new survivor perks.

It’s only justified in certain situations, if BT helped get you the escape then you shouldn’t be t-bagging because you did one third of the work, BT did the rest, T-bagging should only be used for very good plays, not something a perk did most of the work for
I respect a Tea Bag from a good Survivors. It's those ones that can't loop but have every second chance perk. Then want tbag you. That turns me into a shark.

Sad part know one takes the toxicity dangers seriously on these forums because it's just a game. The Devs have created the divide. Between Survivors and Killers.
I rather not be one sided on this game but it's hard not to because the only role I enjoy is Killer.
I noticed Devs have been promoting the Entitlement of Survivors by how they talk in the live streams. As Killer main I'm hurt by this because I enjoy the game devs created and give to them money. They spit in my face and the Survivor community giving constant kicks to the gut.
I know Dbd Always been kinda Toxic but people are already starting to steep to new lows.
KILLERS and Survivors
It's becoming a war zone for the ones passionate for the game..

While I can see the reasoning behind your assumptions, I definitely wouldn't call this state PTSD. Maybe you're trying to name in a more smooth form like "killers' PTSD" but it doesn't really make sense. While I truely feel some of the things you mentioned above it's surely more than just regular irritation but I can hardly call it PTSD in any way.
Do agree with You maybe Killer Trauma would be better way of putting it. I know PTSD is a serious matter for some.
Specially for those who survived in the military.
Thank you for Service.

yeah i have DBD trauma its like a abusive relationship when playing killer, you play cause you remember the good times and you will have short times of fun but you will still got your ass beat up at least 4 times a day.
When i get stressed i just tunnel and camp 2 people and next games go full dirty to relieve all the stress. i know that i am traumatized when i take survs looking to a wall or i look around when they crawl to a pallet, also any pointing and t-bag already triggers me (survivors say its nothing but they do anyway so if it is nothing why you do?) then i tunnel the heck out of them (lantern click included).
Dbd Trauma is better worded.

I have mentioned these before and have gotten various responses. Some agree, others seemed to be a hard no.
But as I have mentioned before, what about getting rid of Toolboxes, keys, moris, and the hatch.
I feel all have perhaps stayed past the need or intent of their reason for being introduced into the game.
Toolboxes with ruin nerf seems obvious now,
Hatch, who cares if you get that last lucky magical escape after your team all died. Also no more slugging for the 4k. 3rd person dies and egc starts.
Keys, no hatch no need for them.
And moris, are just so unfun to play against, except when you all escape and see the killer played an ebony. You know that feelsbadman! They do seem to promote toxic playstyles from a lot of killers as well.
Well what do you think? I am curious of how the community would feel about these changes. It would focus more on the basic core skills of the game roles and not so much rng or op items.
I agree with you but if they take Moris out whats the point of being Killer.
I would stop playing

Yea bad videogames can do the reverse of most games and cause or trigger ptsd. I assume it's even more so if you had narcissists as parents growing up. I only say this because of the effects of the abuse causing fear of failure or being teased or bullied by failure. Considering that most baby boomers are narcissists that would be most of the audience get triggered by the wonky Scooby Doo garbage that goes on in game. It's all very interesting 🤔
That's crazy you mention that. Don't want to get to much into my personal life. I had a very abusive father. Let's just say I had 2 sleep in a small dog cage till for 4 years of my Life naked in a basement. That can't sum it. That was past and no more. So yes as adult now I have some inner demons I'm fighting. I do have bad anxiety. Sometimes the Toxicity of the Survivors get to me.
Many say just play another less stressful game.
Guess what I love being Monster in power
I can't help that when survivors are nasty that I get to a bad mental state at times. Knowing its a game.
Trust me I don't get upset over thing it's just when people take things to far.

That's unsettling not gonna lie. I do realize some people really enjoy the killer role despite being unable to take the stress that naturally comes with facing a group of 4 other human beings. However if things go that far you should seriously think whether that little bit of fun is worth it or not.
I have a few questions for you: Would you still experience any stress if survivors were actually bots/if DBD had an offline mode?
Do you think you would get bored of DBD if survivors were actually bots/if DBD had an offline mode?
I not crying about wanting bots to be survivors.
I like challenges. Please don't think Dbd caused my high blood pressure. It just got that irritating playing. And No im not one of those people that shout at tv.

Decisive wouldn't be strong if Killers didn't have such BM tendencies. The game is designed for Killers to bounce around different survivors and end up hooking everyone a couple times. Map pressure is the overall key to successful 4ks not proxy camping at hook, play the game the way its supposed to be played stop making survivors have to force you to
Some Killers will Tunnel to get one survivor out the game fast to keep gen speeds down.

@DeathsCrimsonMaiden said:
I sincerely hope that this gets noticed by BHVR, because the issues killers are facing are seriously ridiculous.
This is probably going to be a long post, and I don't plan on making a Tl;dr, so buckle up.
Does anyone see the issue with Tru3 and Otz making alot of videos along the lines of "TOXIC SWEATY RANK 1 SMURF CRINGE 4 MAN SWF VS DOC"? Doesn't that kinda conflict with the game looking to be "casual pvp"? Also, why do they feel it is such a big accomplishment to go against optimal survivors? Doesn't that mean that kind of imply that survivors have the uppers hand? I don't think they are just catering to a bunch of bad killers, since he reaches well over 100k on these videos.
I took a break from Dbd for a while, and got back to playing Apex Legends. I actually felt like I had an equal opportunity against my opponent, even if they had a better gun, or a better body shield, or even better addons. It felt amazing being able to outplay an entire squad, and that got me thinking.
Dbd lacks a LOT of outplaying.
There is no skill in running from safe, un-mindgameable pallet to pallet. There is no skill in taking a full 30 seconds to get from one gen to another. There is no skill in the survivor dead harding to a pallet to avoid getting downed.
There is so little that the killer can really do besides run in circles and waste their time. The game doesn't give the killer equal opportunity to outplay the survivors.
I have a challenge for every person that plays killer regularly: Play another pvp game. Try it out for a while, take a break from this game. Apex Legends, Destiny 2, Fortnite, Smash bros, almost any other online pvp game really. It feels so much better than playing killer.
It would be kind of silly to bring up these issues without solutions, however, i've been able to identify the biggest hindrances to Killer v Survivor balance. Map design, Perks, and Items.
Map design is for the most part awful. I think a great example of how not to make a map is the corn maps. They have all the things that create a bad killer map: An easily accessible, strong center structure, un-mindgameable pallet loops, loops being too close to each other, and the map itself being huge. It is no wonder these maps have the highest survival rate (55%). The changes that need to be made to this map in particular are simple. Balance the center structure's windows, create an in-game value to help prevent the randomizer from putting loops to close to eachother, add more to standard loops to make them more mindgameable (i.e putting hay bales in the tractors, making other structures taller), and making the map smaller. Small maps are good for killers AND survivors since it promotes more interaction between the two, which is more skillful, and it rewards strong loopers, while killers don't lose too much gen time simply because the walk there is so long (which isn't skillful)
This check list for making sure maps aren't too powerful for survivors would dramatically change how killer feels. The only reason people used Ruin so much was because of terrible map design. Ruin's nerf was just another bad band-aid fix that addresses very few aspects of a bigger problem.
I think survivor's perks having a somewhat greater effect than killer's is justified. It would be boring if all the perks had a similar effect like killer's (Bitter Murmur v. Dark Sense), but... survivors have items to compensate for the lack of an ability. It's literally in the same slot area as killer, so wouldn't that be kinda unjust to have really powerful survivor perks? The best perks killer have are usually aura reading (Bbq, Nurses), or things that help in a chase (Enduring + Spirit Fury is almost mandatory at high ranks) while survivors have not only multiple second chance perks (Dh, Ds), but also perks that can cripple the killer's pressure by performing actions by themselves that would regularly require another survivor (Unbreakable, Deliverance) Survivors already have abilities in the form of items, should they really have insanely powerful perks?
Hell, the items themselves are problematic. I know they are looking into changing toolboxes, but I have a really high feeling it's just going to be something marginal like making the skill checks smaller. Almost every item works to make the killer's pressure less effective. Med-kits, Toolboxes, Flashlights, and The Survivor's version of moris, the ######### Keys.
I want this game to do well, there is no other cat and mouse game like Dead by Daylight. If I wanted to watch this game flop into irrelevancy, I wouldn't have typed all of this up. Give killers just a nudge, we have been needing that whole asymmetry deal lol.
I get what your saying. You just want to be able to play the game without Feeling like you already lost b4 going into match.
I feel that way as Killer at times.
You just have Killer PTSD

But my point is the toxic killers slug all remaining survivors and leave them to bleed out. Theres no recovering because theres nobody to pick you up.
Hence why they are toxic killers. Its incredibly boring for survivors. Survivors can not do anything.
Meanwhile as killer Survivors can never put you in that kind of position.
Are sure about that I Once Played Wraith and SWF and 3 survivors had Flash lights . They literally had blind all game. I couldn't even turn invisible. Killers get games where they can put in position to do nothing.

Killers don’t need to DC. They could just hide in the basement and Alt+tab out and afk. Survivors would rush gens, look for killer, run around for some points and then leave.
They do this to earn progress on the rift as well.

Yeah but Get some toxic Survivors.

Had a game where a doctor LITERALLY couldn't catch me, so I deserve the escape if I earn it, right? Wrong.
The gens popped and he chased, downed me, THEN moried me without me being hooked once! Why can this happen? At least with NOED you can AVOID it from being activated, or shut it down if it does. With Rancor you have no choice.
"Just escape you trash survivor main." I hear you thinking... I'd liked to but since the aura reading exists he spotted and targeted me.
The sad thing is, I don't even blame the doctor for this, I blame the devs. For even allowing a perk like this to go through AND promote it by putting it in The Archive Challenges.
Thanks, but no thanks.
You know Rancor reveals the Killer to Survivor each time a gen is done. So you should pay attention more...I have to pay attention to d's and Bt. How do think a killer feels when it's the end of the gets d's at the exit gate

I gave up trying to play. Since Friday night until now all I have been matched with was 3 red ranks and a token purple. There is literally no hope for a win. My totems get demolished within 20 seconds of the match, I get t-bagged and flashlight clicked at almost every game. If I do manage to kill someone I’m a camper or tunneler even though it was when 1 gen is left and I have no choice. Heck I’m a tunneler if I come back to the hook and they’re still there healing.
So now, I only play Hag with no addons. When I set one trap, I set all of my traps, all in the same spot to give the Survivors a little jolt. When they trigger them, I giggle and reset them in a different spot. I humor them by chasing them for a minute then switching to someone else. I don’t like getting pallet stunned so I bait them into dropping them. I don’t care if I hook anyone any more. When gens are done, I open the door.
Fast games is what the Devs and Survivors want. If they took too long, people would wait longer in lobby simulator.
I know how that feels. Sometimes I want to play a not play sweaty. On days just play how you want bud. Trust me it won't be as stress and make you own game objectives since survivors just like to play gen simulator with Emotes lol.

Sorry to say it but I was playing and I saw lots of survivors at rank-3. They were just doing gens and hiding. But if you ask how they were in chases, horrible. They took hit and then directly dropped the pallet against huntress. I mean they play like green ranks :/
Thats what I mean. I like to have at least one good chase per game. Not with toxic Survivors because then I become a shark with tunnel vision.lol

Or I'll try to hit gens with bottles from as far away as possible.
Nice Once Unlock the Clown new costume on rift I think I'm going to Do that but try to trap the survivor in the Corner till end game. I burnt that survivor rulebook. No point taking the game serious. Mind as Well join the party.

I assume you mean a Wraith who starts off as AFK and never shows themselves, basically grinding XP/shards/fragments? It's boring. If I'm trying to do some stupid challenge or daily where I need to escape then I appreciate my luck, but it's still not fun. It's very rare that I run into AFK killers, though.
If you mean a killer giving up mid-match... feels bad, man. There's nothing fun about that. I had one give up today, and I felt bad for them, wasting add-ons and all that on a match against survivors they clearly weren't ready for. It's a game, everyone should be having at least some fun, and a killer giving up like that means they weren't having any fun at all. I don't blame myself, I blame matchmaking. I still feel bad for them, though.
Thank you for your input. The main reason I'm ask these questions are because what if that's what DBD becomes on daily. I don't think it would come to that but, what if?

Face Camping is the same sitting in the same place and holding M1 . You survivorsate trying to get done with your object faster. So wouldn't facecamping be the same. Its the Killer trying to finish their objective fasters the same as camping a gen and hold m1 to get out faster.
-
@Amygdala said:
Since I found out a trick to do generators by not holding M1 and occasionally just pressing space bar, I just watch something on my phone at the same time.
Also there's no reason not to bring a toolbox anymore. I used to not bring OP toolbox before because I don't get to use it much because of Ruin. Not because I can't hit hex skill checks but since it brings the killer early momentum for me to be preoccupied with something early game. Be it saving others or looking for hex.
Now I could just spawn in, Run to the middle generator and go Afk.
That statement only shows how boring Dbd is becoming.

I agree. Sure, Gens get points, and it's the objective, but there's no real challenge holding a button. I like the thrill of being chased, and trying to outplay a killer. It's also helped me to become better in chases overall. And you're right on the boosted red ranks. Can't tell you how many I've seen that literally just straight line run from a killer, or throwing down a pallet instantly without looping it first.
I get like a legit really good game 1 every 15 games. I'm talk about games that are intense but everyone is still enjoyed the game. Survivors and Killers. We all had games we're like Wow at the end of the game but a Good Wow because you had fun.
