The other 3 have helped me out a ton, but I've never hit this once - since all you have to do is crouch. I read somewhere the devs are specifically dead set on crouching negating this - why?12 comments 512 views last activity

Its actually NOT the 0K to 4K play itself. I mean yes - there is no other perk in the game where you can watch 3 or 4 people stand at the exit gate for 60 seconds, all knowing they will die and there is absolutely nothing they can do about it. That is the most exhilarating feeling in DBD. But that happens - at most - once every 8 or 10 games. Blood Warden offers a killer something no other5 comments 761 views last activity

MAYBE if you are lucky, you will get one or two survivors worried enough to put in a tape and save you 30 seconds total in a match. Condemn, similar to the first version of Onyro, doesn't matter. People don't realize that - like pig - Onyro has a near guaranteed "one kill" mechanic. Since you can't be bodyblocked when demanifested, you can (unless the unhook is within borrowed time range) almo0 comments 81 views last activity

We all ask the question - why is Myers never, ever changed despite: (i) being rendered (outside the tombstone piece context) as extremely weak by power creep, and (ii) having an addon that - on any other killer - would have been nerfed in year 1 or 2 at the latest? The DBD wiki states that Myers has not received an actual balance change since 2020 - and that was relatively minor (removing abil7 comments 523 views last activity

In the updated roadmap, Pig is one of the killers (along with hag, huntress, demo, clown and doctor) who is scheculed to receive tweaks in the March-April stage. I know "nerf Pig" is a meme at this point, but could she conceivably be nerfed again? I'm betting against a straight up nerf, but (like Sadako) I can't shake the feeling she will get tiny buffs that are overcompensated for by massive9 comments 171 views last activity

Yes, it is absolutely true. Nurse's concept - not playing the same looping, running tile game, etc. as every other killer in the game - is a very close second, but even she is concerned with mundane matters like "kicking gens" and "downing survivors". Sadako 2.0 introduces the first real secondary objective in DBD history (maybe Pig is in the same ballpark, but its a very minor irritant). I sp0 comments 101 views last activity

I was just thinking today how the devs' philosophy toward survivor nerfs has changed. Do you remember old DS? Everyone ran it, all the time. Killers complained for years. But rather than nerf it (which it obviously needed from day 1 in every iteration until this one), they created pyramid head. When you think about it, its kind of mind-blowing - it presumably takes much, much more work to cr22 comments 711 views last activity

Through the years I have played mostly Wraith, Dredge and Pig. I will try each killer once or twice, and if I hate them I would just use BP from other killers to get their perks. Artist was definitely in the same bucket. I decided after two matches that she was just an inferior projectile killer, and left her alone. A few days ago, I picked her up again - and was amazed at the zoning, informa12 comments 201 views last activity

Since this patch increased the misery of both gens flying and camping/tunneling, here is what we will see: Corrupt Intervention (90 second version) base kit Lethal pursuer (minus enhancement to other aura reading perks) basekit. Survs will complain this makes Distortion mandatory. Deadlock gutted Jolt gutted PR dialed back to 15 percent (or maybe 20) OTR base kit, and if you are hit in21 comments 791 views last activity

Think about it - with no DH, Wraith is the LEAST affected by any other exhaustion perk - other than the big two. He laughs at sprint burst - you can just cancel the uncloak at the last second and still outrun the sprinting survivor. Plus, no more lightburn - and a kit conducive to hit and run. He won't be at the level of the big two, but I think this rockets him up a couple tiers.21 comments 691 views last activity

And either they are all VERY good, or the frame-perfect auto DH hack is really spreading. When a persons stands motionless in front of me for several seconds and then always guesses right on my flick swing, that's a giveaway.11 comments 281 views last activity

This is the build where your MMR is too high, and you know you're going to end up with 2 or 3 hooks and at most one kill. I've had a surprising amount of success with: STBFL No Way Out Rancor Blood Warden STBFL guarantees you a trade when there is hook bombing (and so does Rancor - the obsession can't participate, so unless the obsession is on the hook you have a 2 v 1 at worst). I was able to slam a healthy person against the exit gates, and (while the blocker was active) stab them again. However, even with 8 stacks of STBFL, I wasn't able to pick them up before they crawled out. The only time I slammed someone already injured, they were being blocked with healtech (so I couldn't pick them up either). SWFs can KINDA handle it, but solos? Man. I just had about 4 solo groups in a row, none of whom got more than two gens done. 2 of the 4 groups had multiple people going AFK or suiciding on hook after about the 3rd explosion/block. I usually laugh at survivor misfortune, but...man. Realistically there is no way this isn't hotfixed in about another week. Whatever the merciless storm bug is,11 comments 151 views last activity

I salute you, sirs and ladies. To stop to close a locker when I am 10 meters from you (mid-chase) means you have an iron constitution, or at the very least are exponentially better trolls than the t-baggers. Keep up the good work!8 comments 291 views last activity

For the first few days, survivors would just run in a straight line, activate DH, and go down. Lately, as a killer main, I've been seeing a lot of skilled plays: 360ing me, and activating in the middle of the 360 Activating as I lunge at the pallet Jumping off a cliff, and then standing still for a split second so I hit them on the way down Going out the shack window, but crouching by it14 comments 291 views last activity

I'm an American living in Japan, and was able to play a couple days (post-patch) when traveling in the US and now a few days back here in Asia. I don't say that as a complainer - I main him now. But just like Wraith's old purple all-seeing (12m aura reading when cloaked), my kill rate jumps like 20% when using it. How can two free Nightfalls every single game NOT outclass every other add-on?18 comments 461 views last activity

This point has been made before, but someone did a statistical analysis and noted that survival rates increase by 5-10% per each DH in a match (!!). That means that (pre-nerf), DH "alone" was boosting survival rates by 15-30% in higher-ish MMR matches. For any patch, changing kill rate that much is a big move by itself. So far, we only have one perk that triggers on destroying pallets - Spirit Fury. We should have more options so that there is some benefit/upside to the constant, tedious kicking. One idea: "For every obstacle resolved, your rage grows. For every Pallet you break, your speed will permanently increase [.3/.4/.5]% up to a maximum of 10 Pallets." I love zipping around lockers, the adrenaline of Nightfall, the mindgames around the remnant, using teleport in a chase (which even works with the base TP)...everything. In about 10 matches I got 1 3k, 5 2Ks and 4 1Ks...and had fun each and every match, even the 1Ks. Well done Behavior! This might be the best designed killer ever in the game.3 comments 201 views last activity

Think about it - do you ever really start a match that far away from a locker? Even if you do, all you need to do is move toward the far side of the map and check the first locker you see on the most probable route to survivors. At MOST you lose a few seconds, but can go back to the perk again and again if you are between chases. Heck, if it didn't have the bloodpoint bonus (which will proba3 comments 191 views last activity

I only play Bubba and Wraith, and on average 3 out of every 4 bring dead hard (and probably 75% of games have a COH too). Occasionally there is a 2 DH game, or 4 DH, but anything out of that range is rare. Today, as Wraith, I had the most wonderful experience. I managed to catch someone out in the open and hit them immediately. They ran to a pallet, and misplayed it. My thought was "Wow! Th19 comments 351 views last activity

My ideas (probably only doing one of these): Make Lethal Pursuer and CI basekit (together) so that all killers have a general idea of how to get the game started Give all killers Wraith's green (or maybe even purple) shadow dance speed for generators and doors (not pallets or vaults) Survivors have to be on a gen for at least 5 seconds to prevent it from regressing (if it was regressing pre25 comments 221 views last activity

I saw something someone posted that showed the escape rate per trial varied 5-10% PER Dead Hard in the match. So if 4 survivors (with DH) would average an 80% escape rate, that rate goes down to 40-60% without DH. That's why Dead Hard can't be nerfed. If we go by kill charts, do you realize that devs consider EVERY SINGLE KILLER IN THE GAME overpowered (since they have winrates over 50%)? Th25 comments 601 views last activity

Yes, he is not objectively the killer with the highest kill rate. But he is the only killer where if he gets you, and wants you dead, you stay dead. No t-bagging flashlighters, no bodyblockers, no trolling midfield with the exit gates open because you know the sprint will get you to the gates- the saw wins all those debates. Wow. I finally got around to unlocking DMS, and the difference even against SWFs is night and day. I didn't think about the information gathering potential of DMS beyond the gen that blows, but you can tell exactly when a spine chill guy gets off the other gens. In all the DH threads, survivors have most graciously pointed out that SB is so much better for them than DH. I never realized how 70% or 80% of survivors are deliberately using an inferior perk, to give us killers a chance! From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Or...wait. I mained Wraith until his nerf, and it is indisputable he is only a shadow of his former self. Right after the nerf, I'd get blasted time and time again by god loopers (since he no longer could consistently hit at the pallet with his reduced lunge). However, now that the meta has shifted, I've started playing him again and he can SOMETIME surprise you simply because he is a (partial) counter to3 comments 91 views last activity

I hadn’t used Rancor on any killer in years. If you are playing “normally” (ie not camping or tunneling) you rarely get use out of it because the obsession just avoids you. But prestiging Sadako, I threw it on when I had nothing else useful for 30+ levels (all insidious, unrelenting, etc.). It made a HUGE difference against genrush SWFs that I couldn’t defeat normally. The process is simple5 comments 111 views last activity

Playing this on any sort of killer with mobility or teleports is insane. Uncleansable, regression equal to Ruin, AND you get a free notice (good skill check) when someone is on the gen? I get 5x the use out of this that I do with ruin. Combined with PR and DMS, it almost felt unfair.29 comments 1,661 views last activity

When I occasionally have a match where someone is proven not to have DH or DS, I immediately prioritize that person as the weak link and drive them out of the game (if not by tunneling, than by target selection later when multiple people scatter off gens). That person comes out thinking “well, I better DH and DS and let some other non-meta sap take the heat.” How can we break the cycle??45 comments 711 views last activity

Just realized I had played several matches with her and never noticed. If possible, that would open the door for some shenanigans (especially for survivors in the dying state- two close TVs and 5 stacks is a death sentence).1 comments 61 views last activity

To be clear, I don't think they will decrease because survivors are "mad" about COH so they camp and tunnel more just because they are mad. As a direct result of COH, tunneling and camping increases. Why? Simply put, COH completely kills off an entire playstyle - hit and run - that has existed for years. It is utterly useless to try, because the minute you break off someone they run 15M or le32 comments 1,125 views last activity

Sadako downs someone and dooms them. If not on hook, slugged or in chase, they die in 90 seconds. You can transfer the doom to someone (involuntarily) by holding M1 on them for 15 seconds (still works as they move, for obvious reasons). The transferee can’t doom the transferor, but has the same 90 seconds to transfer. Once it teaches the 4th person, they can cleanse at Sadako’s well. Thi5 comments 141 views last activity

Been having a lot of fun with this lately when faced with obvious SWFs. Down and hat the first person you see (ideally not the obsession). Allow an unhook (late) in the first hook stage, ideally a couple gens have blown by now. Don't get stunned and show your nemesis perk. Tunnel the unhooked person and wait out a possible DS. If not the obsession, make sure you get stunned once to make0 comments 91 views last activity

It would single handedly solve DS in EGC and (like a multitude of survivor perks) force survivors to always assume a killer has it (ie, no teabagging at gates if injured). In other words, as powerful as Boil Over but REDUCING overall trolling and frustration.26 comments 461 views last activity

SOMEBODY at Behavior would have huffed less paint than the minimum it would take to forget that such perk would be very, very abusable on certain maps with one super secret feature (rhyming with “mall jindoor dap” ). It would be killswitched, immediately, so that every single map in the rest of the game didn’t need to be designed around it. Why doesn’t Boil Over get that treatment?1 comments 71 views last activity

Killer now unplayable, so I play pig and put a hat on someone on the ground before the last gen pops (usually about 4 minutes into the match) and hope they get a little too cocky in EGC. You get the troll 3 or 4K once every five or six matches, but the rage is worth it. I have always believed Behavior knows what it will nerf 6 months + in advance, but it deliberately spaced and alternates the nerfs to keep one side from being too enraged. I'm trying to learn Pig, but still bad. But if you run Blood Warden and Starstruck on Pig, you always have an insurance policy. If a pig match is going badly (for example, one or two downs and 3 or 4 gens are gone), simply stick to the hatted person like glue. Maybe you get a second down before all the gens gone, maybe not. Once the hat person is on the ground, simply stand over them unti11 comments 291 views last activity
