I'm all for fairer matches even if it means sweatier games as a whole. However them hiding ranks is a massive red flag to me. There is only one reason why they would do this, to stop people from having any grounds for arguments against the matchmaking system. Playing pig i find 2 of them working on a gen and chase and down both. I put a head trap on Yui and hook her. As I go to hook the other one the Yui gets farmed so i hit her expecting borrowed to hamper her getting the trap off. The Yui gets off the trap before the deep wound timer and then while i start chase with a third survivor 3 gens pop and not even the one i chased them off of. Nonstop every game. I cannot wait for the penalties to be put back on. I was complaining not to long ago about the stability of the game. It kept crashing and i kept getting timed out. The new tutorials have made me come back to thinking about it. I played the dbd tutorial because im a completionist and was shocked at how good the ai was. Unironically, I'm serious.... The amount of crashes is getting dumb. Theres no reason to have a system in place to punish players for the instability of the game. I was really looking forward to this chapter. So disappointed by the lack of effort taken to make sure that its actually working. I just came across a hacker that can talk in other peoples names making them say racist slurs and hate speech. I fell for it at first because they made the killer say messed up stuff that i shouldnt repeat. The I noticed they used head on without actually using the perk. reference on myself as a player i play both roles about 60/40% killer/survivor both rank 1 2.5k hours So I care about this game. One of my biggest problems with this community is how nasty some players can be or arrogant they act. What im talking about is bming, aka doing things to get under the opponents skin. They are the same effect achieved in a different way. I dont think that we should have perks that overlap like this. Seems lazy and I think that one of them could be changed into something else. Both essentially add time to open the exit gate. They are both bad and barely felt on their own. You pop 3 gens within the first 2 min of the game. If the devs wont balance the game properly then the killers have to salvage the match after survivors do this. These are tactics to spread pressure and force survivors to come to them and get off of the objective. It might suck from the survivors point of view but at that point blame balancing. Every once and awhile I will get dced from either steam because of an update or get behaviored by dbd servers and it still acts like i dced. The proposed change should be implemented yesterday imo haha. for those who are not aware this is the change: Whenever your aura is revealed to the killer, the killer's aura becomes revealed to you. If you are the obsession, your aura is revealed to the killer for 3 seconds once every 40/35/30 seconds. This will undoubtedly get rid of the abusable wall hacks of the current version while not m8 comments 81 views last activity

Ok so this has been said awhile ago and not really much since but the grab animation has been bugged FOREVER. I don't care if i even get the grab at least let me m1. I want this addressed by a dev because it ruins a core mechanic of the game so please vote it up to be seen. I Live in the midwest usa and i have great internet for everything, except dbd. Ping is around 200-250 every game. So i did some research and found that i can use windows 10 Resource Monitor to see what server it places me in. It turns out that it is placing me in eu-west.
