I don't play killer often but I did at one point so I'm pretty good at killer. My rank dips and I play against bad survivors. I don't try hard unless they are. Always let the 4th escape bc I have nothing to prove with this crummy mmr system. And the other end of survivors are just beating you to death, sorry there are just too many variables to fix what you're looking for.

Yes, with a couple conditions:
- you have a limited amount of people you can avoid, maximum five players
- you can only block teammates, we don't want great players stuck with hour long queue times because they're too good at looping.
I run into 5 AFK gamers a day though.
-
For some reason I have a hard time killing that last survivor when he is dead to rights. Like I have nothing to prove when 3 have died.

Anything that can be used to affect innocents, even if it's only one or a few who get affected, is not worth it. Sure, legitimately toxic players would get what they deserve, but the same toxic people, can abuse the proposed system to what they deem "toxicity". It's like facial recognition: it can be really good for catching bad guys, but can negatively impact innocent people. It's just not worth it.
As survivor I can say most of the blacklist will be fellow survivors. Anyone exploiting broken games mechanics against fellow survivors is a easy list make for me and alot of others.
-
Cowboy hats and dusters for all survivors. And also more variations of dead dog.

@mutante said:
Just limit it to 5 to 10 players.
Love this idea. Like a top ten most wanted. Whoever has been marked most leads list. This way the players on it most definitely deserve to be there.
If ever implemented into game players can just choose ten players they never want to see again.
-
Nurse because PS4 and my neglect to learn her and Huntress for the same reasons.
-
Why he have such flat feet? I feel like I'm learning to walk when I play Myers.
That being said,
I like devour hope on Myers bc I like to stick my knife in deep o_o
I am not really devouring hope though when survivors secretly hope for that deep knife stick, am I
-
Toxic no
If you do this just stop queuing up plz
-
This build is op on killers that know how to run it. And there are killers that know how to run it.
-
Most killers will tunnel the obsession or Laurie ds or no. Ds is not the answer to tunnelling.
-
Op, BBQ info is terribly strong on certain killers. Be clever in your locker timing and BBQ becomes a non issue in most cases. Just assume Freddy and Billy have it and you will outplay them most of all. Unfortunately, your teammates will be dropping like flies but sometimes they can't be saved.
-
Hillbilly.. m1 Billy's are a hard tell.
Meg and Claudette do the most hook bombing in my killer matches which speeds up tempo for killer and they never recover from it.
Everyone saying bill is the worst is the reason I play him at times bc a bad bill player is embarrassing and I play him in hopes of changing that narrative.

Survivors should be nicer to killers who don't tunnel. I try my best not to , but then I'm always disappointed when they get to the exit gates and teabag me and all I can think is "Why was I nice again?" Like I'm a pretty nice killer most of the time. I get 4k's fairly often, but I also sometimes let survivors go. I farm with them when someone disconnects or dies way too early and they seem to be struggling. I've even helped a few people complete archive challenges (I do this as survivor too. Had a Spirit drop me in front of her haunted grounds. I knew what it was, but cleansed it anyway because I knew it was an archive challenge. She seemed to appreciate it, and let me go after downing me again). Giving us a hit on the way out, and maybe not teabagging isn't asking for too much. We enjoy bonus points too!
I wish I could show my appreciation in game I really do but I don't want to be misunderstood when the only form of communication in game is teabagging pointing and beckoning. What would you take as a sign of appreciation in game?
We literally teabag each other to say hello. I even see it as killer, a survivor will squat as if to say good luck.
-
I wonder sometimes if the survivor off the hook knows how much danger they are in and why they aren't doing something smarter then self caring. They go back up on the hook and quit or get a mori to the face for their questionable effort.
-
This killer mentality is so prevalent that the idea of me queuing into a match without sprint burst iron will and bt is very unwise. I'm numb to the tunnel and these three perks just help me fight this "oh here we go again" strat and have made the perks downright mandatory for me.
I guess I should be happy to have that 4th perk slot free..
-
If the killer is there to hit you and they want the points they will hit you. Bm is when you stay and there is no-one there to send you off and there's no-one there to help escape.
-
I think the value of add ons and offerings do not meet the cost of them. Since the add on and offering Nerf the cost and tiers should be readjusted to match. The wording on some items no longer make much sense and serve purposes that are increasingly redundant.

Hate playing against:
Killers that are shameless play theses most often.
19 Freddy
18 Legion
17 Spirit
16 Plague
Rather not play against:
These killers cann easily snowball beyond return based on hook locations and map layout.
15 Trapper
14 Hag
13 Doctor
12 Clown
Indifferent:
Predictable play styles not much to talk about.
11 Ghostface
10 Wraith
9 Leatherface
8 Pig
7 Huntress
Enjoy playing against:
Fresh powers variety of skilled players. Not much dull gameplay if these killers are on duty.
6 Oni
5 Demogorgen
4 Nurse
3 Mikey
2 Billy
1 Slinger
-
No obsession target. Kill confirmation. It's not very difficult.
-
Billy. No perks no add ons no m1 or tunnel or slug.
-
Being Laurie strode gets a killer to tunnel everytime don't know if they were pissed off but I was
-
From the survivor side, sitting on gens is boring and getting caught up in a snowball is boring.
From the killer side, damn I suck, oh well I'm bored.
I'm looking forward to Last of us 2 to get lost in that deep narrative again.

Glitter bomb!

Looking to buy a new killer. I've pretty much narrowed it down to either Oni or Myers. Which killer would you get? Perk wise, fun value, actual skill ceiling for the killer etc. Thanks!
Shape if you're a chill dude oni if you're a boosted boy
-
Just keep the servers live thank you bhvr for that.
-
Deranking is cancer. Matchmaking is a corpse dead from cancer.
-
Hatch opening keys are golden. Franklin's basekit but does not damage item. Killer can pick up and carry key. Survivor can retrieve key from killer by being carried or sneaking up upon. If a hatch opening key is in play at the time of hatch spawn all players are notified with a icon near the possible escapes available.
Just make mori basekit and can only mori on deathhook. Or increase the hooks needed to mori so the first guy seen doesn't get deleted so easy. Give hooked survivors the option to reject a hook save if the killer is close, he is after all safer up there in a mori situation and knows if there is a preferable hook saver nearby.

From a killer pov kate is the most toxic from a survivor pov steve and nancy

New Map, New Killer (even tho he might be a tad weak) and New Survivor (idk i just love her design)
I'm not really that fond of the perks tbh. Although For The People seems like a cool design i've yet to see a "proper" use for it.
End game when killer downs someone and chases another. For the people works. Infectious fright killers slug in order to down another trying to add pressure you no longer take all that time healing. If you are injured and you go for the hook save, let the person heal you up use for the people if there's no time for two full heals.
Activate resilience, allow dead hard, fight the slug play. I mean killers are slugging less now so it might not see much play but I hate the slug game so much I'll run it every game just to counter it hard at the right moment. Also as a little extra benefit you want to take the heat off the obsession being tunnelled now we can take the target off them.

I mean he is a range dude. He is shooting from distance. I don't see how distance is your problem. It seems common misunderstanding why range killers are slow. I understand what your problem is that is why I find the new killer not really that great. You want map pressure but they can't give u one. Instead they give you potential in chasing. And a round vs him is all about how fast you can run /if chased/ and how fast you can do the gens before he kills you all. It is just really boring for me that type of gameplay
I haven't played as him at all. From my point of view as survivor he is extremely easy to outrun. Distance is key. Hanging out in defiance at a gen is the bad play. Going to a new gen before ole creaky bones comes over is the right play.
-
Gen teleporting applies a stupid amount of map pressure. Blood pools apply a stupid amount of loop lockdown. If a Freddy camps the person on hook gon die. Stealth damn near impossible because you don't know where he is coming from and he sees you in a white outline.
Freddy mains were good with him in f tier now anyone can main him.

@Alice_pbg said:
The deathslinger. He's cool, and fun.
His walk speed is going to be a issue in red ranks. All survivors have to do is maintain distance. It should be addressed.

Yeah, I think the new Map is really cool. It is a truly remarkable Map in that it features things never seen before in DBD, such as the new outskirt walls, the tumbleweeds, the vulture flying around, the canyons beyond the outskirt walls, the sunset, the stars in the sky and the Wild West Theme. It's overall visually stunning. It's one of the best Maps in DBD in my opinion.
I look up at those stars and try to find the entity as a constellation. Brings new life to holding m1 on generators. Lost in the stars and hitting great skill checks.

Iron will,borrowed time.
Useful in so many situations.

Bubba because he is sloppy and derpy and if he doesn't catch you he can just swing his chainsaw around

Keep playing against Doc and you'll figure out how to counter him. Want an easy game? Bring Calm Spirit. If you don't want to bring the perk that takes away his biggest advantage, that's a you issue.
And not hear Ace do his pee wee Herman scream? Blasphemy

Moris are being used as training wheels causing players to remain horrible at the game by just going for the easiest route to get kills.
Mori games are not to be taken srsly if the mori user has basic game knowledge.
For survivors the game is a L because you don't have to ability to fend the killer off because we don't have the ability to prepare for the game.
I definitely feel like it is two different game modes. It's easy to understand why someone refuses to play it out. And when survivors refuse the team suffers more. And it's just boring and draining.

@LetsPlayTogether said:
Just give survivors another recover bar after the first one to get healed to injured.
The slug game for survivor NEEDS a quality of life update. For the people is quite good in this aspect but laying on the ground over and over is just no bueno. For the people can work but the slug game is just too strong. You've got this bad survivors issue that plays right into this strat and it is so hard to carry them.
-
Hag slaps people and limps around like a quisimoto. She's totally dependent on trap placement. And she was not as "fine tuned" as she is today. I love hag lol but she slaps ppl!
-
I know when I first started I was coming directly from f13th the game so I had a good idea of what kiting is. But for new players I don't think they understand how important kiting is. But I wouldn't say it is the worst. Most fps shooters are much more unforgiving.

Whenever I face a killer who seems to delight in being as creepy and psychotic as possible, this idea flashes across my mind.
In my opinion, this feeling makes the game better! I love the idea of a real killer playing DBD... and then pallet-stunning him, hiding too well for him, or escaping through the hatch. Then, at the end of the game, I say "GG LOSER HAHA!" and I imagine a real-life killer freaking out and smashing his keyboard like a maniac. Then I giggle a little bit.
As much as I hate killers that will tunnel off the hook when there is no obsession, my adrenaline sky rockets and I give it my best to survive it. But those type of killers are who I imagine are the true psychopaths. It's a love/hate feeling I have toward them.
-
Survivor deliverance I love a good chase and popping this after a killer has finally got me racked up always feels like I've taken a considerable amount of momentum back but especially when combined with sprint burst.
Killer insidious only good for one or two moments in the match but let me tell you it fools them good if played at strategic moments with perks like noed, make your choice, and devour hope.
-
It would be very cool if a killer could just put a flag up or sound a alarm. There are alot of situations where certain survivors played so terribly that punishing the rest is legit boring. I would like to have a way to communicate that I'm giving survivors a rest and then the survivors could respond with a communication for the killer to resume. If they don't communicate it then killer can alert survivors that he will be resuming.
-
Some doctors and Freddy's give me that feeling, op
-
Yes with bacon and ham. If it was just pineapple by itself it would not appeal to me.
-
Having played alot of arcade games when I was a youth putting my palm down on a joystick to wiggle once in awhile is not problem but I can see that if someone isn't used to that, the struggles would seem useless. The only joystick I ever wore to a nub was my gamecube due to resident evil 4 action sequences.

Ah, yes. I'm going to keep you on the ground for an extended period of time, then just delete you because I can't be bothered to play the game properly.
No, I don't care that you've been queuing for longer than I have, or that you've spent less time actually doing something than we have sitting at the lobby and loading screens. My job is to kill you not to entertain you.
I "wasted your time", huh? Just git gud, you entitled survivor main.
But no, Survivors are the problem for bringing perks that stop this kind of thing.
Yes we legit have to build according to a plan that will dominate u.

For what it's worth, #2 would not be necessary since bloodhunts are a post-match bonus. They don't increase the points of everything you do in the trial, they take your end score add a 100% bonus to it. This ignores the normal 32,000 cap. If you were to hit 32,000 points in that match, you'd get 64,000. BBQ & Chili works the same way.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1146605#Comment_1146605
Way back in the day, it was added to deter cheaters. It's since outlived that purpose since save files aren't stored locally anymore and we've tightened down on cheating quite a bit. These days it kept at 1,000,000 to prevent someone from immediately maxing out all of the new content the moment it comes out.
Meanwhile, you can forgo redeeming tome challenges to Max out all the new content the day it releases.

I've learned loops and kite routes on maps for the fear of being moried. The mori amps the pace of the game pretty high. You are playing with a killer that is either power hungry or not confident in his long game. If survivors had an idea that op items were being stacked against them maybe they could plan better. That's why you get survivors that are very hard to put down, adapting is the only option.
