If the killer has me dead to rights right off the hook then I act like I have ds when in all reality I have no counter. I am just buying time. Thank you dumb ds plays for helping those three others live this match.

Nah, you do this to me youre getting tunneled, everyone else can just leave idgaf
Same. I can't even help myself. The filthy spammer wants the attention and I have no choice but to go deal with it.

If I go down and the killer camps me with a one hit down loaded, I can use deliverance, ds, unbreakable and sprint burst and escape 99% of the time.
-
If PS4 gamers had the ability to type gg post match, I would be that guy that gg's even if it wasn't good game.

I locate basement as killer and survivor before I chase or do gens seeing how easy it is to win and lose based on its position.

I play both survivor and killer, I'm not talking about hooking someone and being in the general area. I'm talking about being face-to-face, deadass face camping where you refuse to leave the hook the entire time.
Not necessarily a time out or ban potential, but these players should honestly get a giant decrease in something. Lose a pip or two. I shouldn't be losing my survivor rank because a Killer matched in red-ranks has a hook fetish, or have to lose a fellow teammate because of an insecure player.
I personally hate one hit down killers and add ons that face camp first down.

Having no connection to the first does not rule out Jason. Just his mother. There may be a small argument that jason was indeed mentioned by name in the first movie. In fact while in the movie for less than a minute (i beleive) he is the reason the movie even happens.
That being, the jason we all know and love Didnt get his signature look until the 3rd movie, or his supernatural powers until the 6th.
Crystal lake would be off limits, although again there could be an argument that there really is a crystal lake but i doubt that would fly.
Yes trapper was their version of Jason but he just isn't. I would love to have a Jason in the game and really am hoping they got him.
Uber Jason may not be the Jason everyone wants but he is the Jason everyone deserves.

I see a killer ignore a near finished gen to chase a guy all the time. Maybe gamers just want to do their thing and winning or losing is subjective.

You didn't notice he had Rancor? Also, never trust killers who're playing nice. That's DbD 101.
It doesn't show the aura if he stays cloaked the whole time. Lesson learned the hard way I guess.

I thought a wraith was being a good sport till he killed me with rancor.

If Candyman who would the survivor be?

On survivors the Claudette items to tame a wild Claudette in-game. On killer a bonsai to keep my mind at peace during the match.

It sure does stop the tunnel though, a strat used by most killers using a mori, of which ds does not stop unless you play a locker. So there is utility in it.

Or just fix the hard camp killers

It's not just you, there seems to be an issue across the board. The team is investigating and hoping to have everything back to normal ASAP.
Thank you for your swift reply.

Shelter woods is a tough one. You have to stealth more then killer and just run like hell if found. Most indoor maps are reliant on your team finding gens so those tend to be killer favored, depending on killer.

His trap placements need to slow his movement speed.
Survivors should be given two alarm clocks.
He is a fraud.

Unless you're doing a mission from the Archives or going for the David achievement, I can't see why someone would handicap themselves. Also Killers love to tunnel the No Mitherers, so unless they're gods of looping, they'll be going down fast.
Urban Evasion is a close second. Most urban evaders I've met usually don't help much with gens or helping teammates. They're just too busy hiding from the Killer. Of course not all of them are like that, but in my personal experience, most of them were pretty much the least helpful teammate.
I play alot of survivor so when I go play killer and see no mither, self care, and plunders doing my job for me, I just become extremely bored. I have too much sympathy to be playing killer I think. Bad no mither users are so destructive to teams they probably could add OoO and increase their survival chances.
-
If the killer goes AFK this way there is nothing that can be done but turn away and escape. The devs continue to ignore this behaviour. I get that it is a reportable offense, but why it is still in the game after all this time, allowing it to happen, is dumbfounding.
-
Sprint burst, borrowed time, never leave lobby sim without them and then I alternate the other two alot.
Inner strength, detectives hunch: these two are very good if your teammates can lead a chase for more the sixty seconds, abandon the totem busting if your team is bad and you can tell if your team is bad based on hook to gen done ratio.
Prove thyself, spine chill: I like to use the start with a buddy shroud. Those gens don't stand a chance.
Aftercare, saboteur: these two are so good late game for rescuing the guy on death hook, I get so many friend requests bc of the relief I provide to that dude that has been really fighting for his life for all match. Just make sure to bring a medkit, you are no good to anyone bleeding out and moaning everywhere.

What noise are you talking about?
The machine gun going off on the other side of the map as a Kate does 40 window vaults.

Now, before anyone bites my head off, this is off the back of a few unpleasant experiences and I know that not every game is like this, but the fact that it's brewing this type of a feeling is important to discuss.
I know that I have said before that "last game shouldn't mean anything" but that statement is getting harder to justify as of late. Same with this attitude. And there is no "taking a break from the game" that can fix this issue, because simply put, it's becoming more frequent.
So, amidst all of the recent questionable matchmaking, I've been paired with some rather low ranks. Not an unwelcome change from being constantly put into a red killer with green companions at purple ranks, but what happened in these last few games is:
I have been completely abandoned on a hook against a killer with Thanataphobia for some minor, insignificant generator repairs and two bits of healing to cancel two stacks of Thana. Dying on first and de-pipping, only to find that the ones I saved off earlier hooks are ranks 17 and 18.
I later have a game where there are 3 David Kings, two with flashlights and one with a toolbox. They get slaughtered and I manage to get most of their unhooks, only for the last one to get slugged. I manage to stealth as I have all game and manage to pick him up from dying TWICE before the coward leads the killer to me and then proceeds to do absolutely nothing, while I do a generator, dodge and run the killer for the next two minutes before getting honourably downed and hooked. Messaging me (Xbox player, for context here.) as I'm about to die on second hook, and gets a lucky escape.
They then proceed to call me a "sook" and later a child because I called them out on their blatant teaming/cheating and said that they shouldn't have messaged me as I assumed initially they had a farming thing going. They even tried to provoke me into using explicit language, which is part of my normal speech, I refrain from using online in text because of mods and bans. I'd love nothing more than to warn my fellow Xbox brethren about this toxic scum with a good ol' Name & Shame, but I won't.
So, here's my questions, as a solo survivor: Why SHOULD I start helping you lot when this is the treatment I can expect? Why should I put my life on the line when it won't get reciprocated or appreciated? Why should I start believing that this game is truly a 4v1, rather than a 1v3v1 as other survivors are proving more and more? How is your life and your health more important than a stealth/chaser emblem rating, or another generator completed? How does helping you help me any more?
Why should I care?
Please, convince me. I've ditched my emotions and empathy enough throughout my life. I'm not seeking validation, or consolidation. I just want a reason.
Because I'm not like those other guys and I'll be the one with the clutch bt save on you no matter how dire things become.

I have played him a few times and he literally just has to just spam his snares to get a free down, once a survivor is down teleport to a gen and use pop, rinse and repeat. When playing against him you feel like you can’t really do anything (at least you can dodge deathslingers shots) not mention he counters borrowed time which is nice but you can easily Camp and tunnel with him. The other killers you have to learn their power very well to get better with them. As for Freddy it feels like they over did his power. Not to mention his add ons with thana and dying light can be fun to do but complete aids to go against. It kinda makes me miss old Freddy. What do you guys think of Freddy?
My main issue is that the difficulty surviving against Freddy skyrockets when survivors quit and it happens Alot

16.021 on my PS4 console oof
-
More items for the toolbox would really add variety and also make sense, like, how about a hammer that breaks totems faster or a screwdriver that locks Dwight in a locker.
-
Play normally but when the user is downed get them out asap. OoO user teams get stronger as the match progresses.
-
Killer quicksand motion if camping. No actual sinking into ground, just slower movement and action speed. Problem solved.
-
Bringing a mori in the game is a automatic loss for killer no matter how the match goes. No-one is enjoying themselves truly because all you are doing is sucking the life out of a game that you yourself are spending time playing.

lightborn is about the only way to counter it if you entertain it. I wouldnt waste my time on anyone doing this nonsense
The problem with having a tech with only 1 counter is that all killers have to run the counter. Trapper could counter this tech but not many low tier killers can fight this strat without anchoring yourself to 3 perk slots. Whenever I play killer now if someone brings a flashlight whispers comes off and lightborn goes on simple as that.
The same can be said about survivor and bt. Survivors have been anchored to 3 perk slots bc of the strat many killers can fall back on and they do so often that I can never not run bt. If there is a problem in this game releasing a perk to address it is not the way. Fast actions to distract me while I'm chasing someone is one instance where I'm still looking for a solution. I'm all ears is not useful at all.

Borrowed time banned for any amount of time would be horrendous.

Honestly between Urban and Self-Care, at least SC promotes doing something productive, even if it is a slow reset. The issue is that Urban Evasion is always used in conjunction with it and they are basically the 'I'm going to do nothing and watch my teammates die on the hook while I can see the killer on the other side of the map' build.
I don't see why Bond would annoy anyone; it's a great perk. It has multiple uses, including as a makeshift self-care if you really aren't comfortable being injured during the game as well as helping you to find other teammates on gens, to either rush the final gen/add pressure, to get information on what your teammates are doing so that you know what you need to do, to show you where teammates that can help you are when in a chase where you're in danger (especially good in a duo) and also to simply help you to avoid sandbagging teammates.
From experience in solo bond and empathy are used to avoid the action and killer or in bonds case tag another survivor into a chase, which I don't really mind bc I'm not annoyed by aggro. I just never see them used for good.
-
Not tunnel camp and mori would be a nice change.
-
A simple 1,2,3,4 to identify who is who would be nice. I get grief a lot so my opinion is quite bias

The blue and pink unicorns named Lolz and Roffle as killer, and Charlie as survivor, and the map is the mythical Candy Mountain.

There's a difference between winning the game and ruining a player's experience. Don't blur the two, please.
Are killer mains supposed to concern themselves with other players experience? As a survivor my experience is not affected by another player it is merely affected by the fact that the player was capable to do the said thing.
Killers do your thing, survivors will adapt.

If everyone avoided five teammates every day, how long do you think queue times would get?
Nowhere near how it is being exaggerated.

Motivation:
All players rank 1 with some quality chases, looping, mind games and rescues.
Opposing killer powers and build variety.
Immersion.
Discouragements:
Being the only rank 1 gamer in a match
Immersion breaking elements such as lag, bugs, same map multiple times, and lobby wait times( I can't be immersed if I'm asleep right?)
The stale meta.

I'm cool if pallet throwing survivors die faster and separate us in the new mmr.
