Survivors can break totems, open chests, look for hatch and how do you know as killer that they aren't doing these things? Going for the 3 gen makes survivors have to out live one another so you better have whispers because surviving is a stubborn affair.

A flashlight save mini game in the lobby queue would be pretty great. Hell, I'll take pong at this point.

Survivors cant ever be skill based because their skills also rely on their teammates. A ######### teammate can make even the best survivor player ruin their game. Because a smart killer goes for the weaker link and this way their team crumbles.
Surviving a bad team even saving a few I daresay requires skill though for sure.

You can only Mori 3. Takes 4 full stalks to get 3 mori's because of how much is needed for it and it takes a very long time.
You can mori 4. You just have to leave some juice in the first guy you stalk and see him later.

If slugging is used for griefing shouldn't killers be more informed on game etiquette do's and don't's before they nurse a toxic behavior?

It's not exactly making it harder when they're exploiting a way to never allow you the opportunity. I don't think they had the idea of people jumping into a locker to avoid it when they were thinking it up and I doubt they'd consider it "tech" either.
I think they know exactly what they were doing. Like I say it needs a counter and this is what was decided. Expect a change to the archaic easy kill Myers add on before a change to make it easier to perform, both of which are totally unnecessary.

People complain about camping because its not very fun. One person queued for ages, might have had a minute or two in the game and thats it. They’re immobilised on the hook and dont get to play. Then know that as soon as they’re unhooked the killer is waiting nearby to knock them straight back down. There’s no counterplay you can do yourself other than bringing one specific perk in the game, which just buys you small headstart on the killer. Thats it, thats the only counter.
Its not about the strategy its about the fact that it sucks and just ruins the game for a lot of people.
If you bring ds, sprint burst, inner strength, you get quite a leg up on campy killers albeit without a mori in play. But then you are locked into running a build that fights the most effective strat killers have at winning the 1v1. I wish I didn't have to run these perks but most killers only care about the 1v1 so I'm stuck. I hate ds because they usually go with the mori stray so just leave the ds out of it unless you're one of those run at the killer nerds that ruined ds for everybody. Then by all means.
-
Myers, being the only killer that can kill someone within minutes of the match with no hooks, needs a counter. And besides, if you're having trouble with an achievement making it easier to achieve, completely, defeats the purpose of the achieving it, yeah?
-
Discipline and restraint is my favorite combo because it negates BBQ and chili so I can bring useful perks like brutal strength, distressing, sloppy butcher and clauraphobia

Billy players are definitely the most friendliest. And most leather faces commend fun chases with some sort of decent response.

On PS4, If more then one survivor goes to open the gate at the same time one will fly up in the air and the other will lose connection. Fun
-
Long walls are boring and obvious, go near them and just die. Stay away from long walls folks.
-
Just beat him to the cage what's so hard about that?
-
Maybe if bhvr eased up on the availabilty of tools and mechanics to troll their consumer base, bhvr would have more consumers.
-
My tolerance level for the game is crap so I play like a zombie going through the motions. Gamers wondering about the Dwight that didn't remember to mend will find him drooling and dead eyes irl
-
Griefers and boring gamers find most use out of ebony moris than most other type. Moris keys and other elements certainly are out dated, in my opinion, and just make me play the game less.
-
I'm not sure I'm interested in playing as him but I definitely will look for utility in urban evasion against him.
-
The last thing I want to say about this is if the survivors weren't faced with absolute no escape/no reward/and no option to forfeit for 4 minutes then killers would have no interest in using this mechanic to bm. The more this issue is ignored or prettied up with a new perk the more killers just want to do it to show me they still have it in their arsenal. Nothing makes me put the controls down faster then the thought of facing one of these slugfests more than once in a day/week/month.
-
First game ever I thought pallets were useless against all killers because of how nurse treated me at them.
-
At rank 1 ds is unappealing because killers eat it and burp out human remains.
For killer pop because kicking gens requires me hump gens and not chase.

as killer you can empirically calculate the wiggle timer as "10 survivor grunts".
Thank you that's pretty useful to know.

Saving the kite master being face camped at the exit. Sometimes a hero needs a hero.

The fact that you have to run a obsession perk to create a obsession target in the hud is broken design. 51% of killers will make you wish you had ds if there is no obsession target, making ds a pretty powerful influence in matches.
-
@alaenyia said:
What if it was just like the hook and you could hasten the timer with 3 "tries" but have the 4% chance it pops you up instead. Then you can die faster if you want, maybe get up, or just lay there if you think someone might come. Killers may also be less likely to leave you slugged if you can maybe get yourself up fairly fast.
Or after the 3rd/4th time of being slugged in a match give a forfeit option.

Because when you play survivor, that's what you signed up for, to be put in a situation where you're the victim and have to overcome an aggressor.
I sign up for a game over not be a victim.

There's not much to say that hasn't already been said. You have Unbreakable to get back up. You have Flip Flop if you want to benefit from being slugged. You have No Mither if you want the killer to never slug you (although this one is a bit difficult to use).
Playing survivor means that some things (like the killers' actions and their own teammates' actions) will be beyond your control. That's part of the appeal.
You never asked for a nerf, no, but you keep bringing up typical thinly veiled language for nerfs. "Not fun". "Beyond your control". "Can't do anything/fight back". "It's BM".
If you're not asking for nerfs, then say, explicitly, what you do want.
What like a list of demands? It's not my job to keep this game fun but it only makes sense that if you are putting forth effort to get back in the game that you earn bp, for instance, everytime you fill a recovery bar you earn 250 bp that about matches up to what much of all other actions game hand out. If your bar is full or not how about some crawling away from a hook bp to give new players incentive to be doing the smart thing? And in the off chance that you've fully depleted your bleed out timer how about some bp for sticking it out? By no means is this the remedy but maybe these snowball games are so droll because the players don't see the point.

Killers find it very inconvenient to be stunned for 5 seconds. There's no perk to fix that either. There used to be, which is why DS now stuns for 5 seconds, but that perk was nerfed while DS remains the same. If that doesn't show favoritism, I don't know what does.
You lost. It's not supposed to be fun. Take the L and move on. Stop asking for killer nerfs, learn to play better.
At no point did I ask for a Nerf and really you've succumbed to telling me to get good? I thought veterans of this forum had a bit more to offer.
You get absolutely nothing for filling a recovery bar. And if you have your recovery bar to Max, you get nothing for crawling to a better position. If you are slugged again you have to fill that depressing recovery bar again and if the killer is running infectious fright your depressing earn nothing recovery bar is being interrupted by things beyond your control. If you're the poor sod that was down first to a snowball and all game long you've been with a recovery bar or a bleed out timer the match is over with nothing to show for it.

Another suicide option would be bad for the game, because it just amounts to another penalty-free DC. The downside of this is far worse than any upside of some minor convenience factor.
Four minutes is not that long. If they meaningfully reduced it, everyone would just complain that it's too short. The timer is there to give teammates a chance to save you, while also providing a short enough window that the game isn't being held hostage by a serial slugger.
I find it very inconvenient when the killer decides, and they do, to leave me on the ground for 4 minutes as a slug just because they can. There is no perk that can fix the dead space of 4 minutes. I'm sorry but slugging is bad manners and it is used very maliciously.

Yeah, I would definitely like to see a basekit ability or even an item you can use to ######### faster when slugged if you want. Killer's can't be bothered to chill for 60 seconds of a struggle phase at end game, but it's cool for them to bleed survivors out for 4 minutes. Not really cool. If you're dead anyway, you should be able to 'let go', so to speak. LOL And yeah, recovering should provide something - since it's essentially healing, as would evading the killer if they leave you slugged and cant find you. 🤷
4 minutes is very excessive in a BM situation.

Demo has been quite a let down. No-one runs him on PS4 and if they do he gets upset and sulks alot.
-
He didn't disappoint me much prebuff, now I feel like we were meant for each other.
-
I feel ya. That killer ready up button is really unnerving, unless I am playing a killer or build that I am really comfortable with. PS4 huntress/nurse are just there for decoration though no blink nurse is fun because I go in that with noed or devour.
-
I get hit by his latent lunge and I feel empty inside. Pop Freddy is boring.

@Frankie said:
My first question would be...can you really not count to 3?
It can be really hard to keep track in the thick of things. But op, I'm not sure I would like this bc it would incentivize killer and survivor to play more aggressive towards the survivor or killer that is losing already.
-
I am most comfortable playing doc and it has alot to do with his giggle all match. But the loop shocks are also very good.
Survivor I like Dwight, Ace, and Nancy

My biggest issue with prestige is I feel if I want to get every perk on a killer I enjoy using, I have to P3 them first. While I don't have to prestige them at all I feel I need too. If say I get Pig all the perks maxed out and I never prestiged her. What if one day I decide I want the bloody cosmetics? All those bloodpoints I poured into her just dug me a deeper grave. That's why I want to get a killer to P3 before I dump as much BP as possible into them. So I never have to worry about regretting my decision.
With bhvr now talking about adding more prestige awards, I am regretting my past blood point decisions. But still I will not p3 until the reward is alot more worthwhile then cosmetic.

Matchmaking is terrible. Red rank survivors shouldnt be anchored to brown rank players that need alot more experience before they are doing dbd better.
-
I find that rank ones paired up with rank twenties to appease a rank ten killer to be ass backwards matchmaking. It is a mess and the system itself is determining the winner in its current functioning.
-
You again?
This again?

Run plunderers instinct + ace in the hole.
Before you know it, you will be drowning in add ons.
-
Matthieu Cote as Dwight. No evil intent here I swear 😇
-
Old 100% is now about 80%, so, old 50% is now about 40%.
I play at 75% but that is just due to the wear and tear of the controller I have available. I'm sure there are alot of different preferences out there for controller users.
-
Slug killers who slug only to show they can win at slugging. Because survivors are useless if they lose to slugging apparently.
Three of any killer in a row most notably legion doctor or Freddy. Testing my endurance unable to continue to struggle sorry team.
Fast action notifications spammers as survivor or killer. They make my eyes go super saiyen.
-
Madness tier three recover speed takes too long to recover in matches where all killer does is shock and slug. You spend the whole time on two recovery bars that gift you nothing for replenishing. There should be a way to tier down from two to one. The way it is currently just allows slugging to end the match abruptly and you have little to show for the time you spent queuing into and playing through a match. That is, if holding a button down for X amount of minutes is considered playing.
-
Legion, doctor, Freddy if you want to chill and play.
Trapper, hag, Bubba if you prefer headaches and no player to player interaction.
-
Least likely Jason<Pinhead<Alien most likely.
-
Tunnelling: fresh off hook and in a chase for the second time.
Camping: fresh off the hook and in a chase for the second time.
-
Doctor slug game is broken.
-
Stop going into the game feeling entitled to use your legs. Stop using your legs. Stop using perks you like. Play the perks you need for that 1/20 chance of broken killer builds.
-
Camping is why second chance perks exist. Bite the bullet and equip some.
