Chick-fil-A :P
Burger King is so much better for sure, when I have a burger I want to taste the burger, Whopper is the one for that! McDonalds tastes a bit fake to me.
Wendy's is nice really though, Baconator mmmmmm I recently moved from the UK to the US (south east) and have been coming over twice a year for four years so sampled quite a few different ones, funily enough never tried Burger King or McDonald's here.

This would change the "Rush Gens and get Adrenaline" meta tho, It would force survivors to bring perks like Bottany Knowledge, We'll Make It, Empathy, etc.
Also if people get the chance to just do gens instead of healing they'll do gens, it already happens against killers who are not Legion, at least in my case...
Edit: Forgot to tag you :)
No worries I always forget to tag :P
I still dont think it would solve the issue of Legion not being fun, first they need to look at why that is and the reason being is the free hit as the Legion and the hit, mend, hit, mend scenario along with them basically using the survivor mechanics.
If you force people to heal versus a mechanic which makes it so easy to hit you and then allow it to down someone if they chose not too then it teeters on the edge of becoming OP and I fear it would spike the DC rate even higher.
It would also mean no mither needs a new mechanic away from broken as they wouldnt be able to survive versus them at all.
The ease of the hit with Legion is what makes healing not worthwhile and while with other killers it leaves the survivors more disadvantaged with Legion being 110% it does not, I think that is the underlying issue with healing but also if they were 115% speed there power could become OP due to the easy first hit scenario, if you are seen you will be hit by FF by any competent Legion player, instead of hit mend, hit mend, hit mend, it then becomes hit heal, hit heal, hit heal which would be more annoying as its holding M1 still and takes even longer which doesnt really solve the underlying issue.
Against other killers I always want to heal up unless I see NOED or IH hatchets etc as it gives me two chances, against Legion I dont as I know if seen again I can be injured a lot easier than versus other killers.

@twistedmonkey I don't think it's entirely about him. While it is aimed towards him, yes, it's still an example of what needs to be done in this community. I'm not saying all Twitch streamers are bad, but there comes a time when we need to at least stand up for those who are dealing with harassment by simply playing the game and trying to enjoy their time. That is just my thought on the matter though.. :/
This community has always been toxic but how many people have you actually seen this happen too? generally it happens to those that go onto someones stream and start calling them out and acting toxic themselves, while I dont condone this happening to them I also dont have much empathy for them as they are the ones who initiated it.
If you dont like a streamer just dont visit them but dont go running your mouth in their channel its asking for trouble.
I dont see why people get so hung up on a bunch of normal gamers because they show themselves playing games, what someone choses to do who is part of their community is also not the streamers fault, if the streamer actively does go out of their way to do it then report them to twitch and PM a mod here but an open idscussion is not the way to go, it incites a witch hunt.
There is always more than one side to every story.

What if instead of causing Broken you make them go on a timer that once is full they go Broken?
If they dont heal in time then they go Broken and if you use Feral Frenzy you see the scratch marks of Broken survivors and if you hit them with Feral Frenzy you down them instantly.
This would solve the problem with people not healing against Legion. His power would be used as a tool to hurt multiple survivors and it would punish those who dare to laugh at the killer by not healing.
This would make even Legion even more annoying and removes the choice to heal or not.
Survivors should see the benefit of healing up but should not be forced to do it which is what this would do.
-
Why even post this? it is a personal issue and the forums are really no place for it, its also very easy to find out the person with a google search but I think you know that.
This is just a random person and nothing to do with BHVR posting this about you, if you have too pm a mod and see if they will do anything as this post is just going to create a lynch mob mentality.

Any survivor on the hook is tethered to the others so they have a decreased hook stage themselves if not saved in stage 1 or 2 unless they save them (numbers to be worked out)
The tether doesnt decrease in time if the killer enters a set area around it, if the survivor saves within 15 seconds of them being hooked then that survivor has 25% removed from their hook timer.
If the killer leaves the area and doesnt return within 15 seconds they get a token, each token adds 2 seconds onto time to cleanse totems up to a max of 12s and after 4 tokens the broken totems respawn onto a dull one, if all dull are cleansed they reaspan in one of the places before and all with what they had gained before.
If a killer hits the unhooked survivor within 20 seconds it increases the timer of the hook stage for all by 15% but only if they are saved after 65% or less of any hook stage.
To compensate for this the chance for gen skill checks increase to double what they and are get harder after each hooking, great ones are removed also while someone is on a hook (unless they run ruin).
Each survivor hooked will decreases the skill check zone by 15% which resets to normal once a survivor is sacrificed and the regression on kicked gens is doubled.
I feel the killer should be rewarded for leaving the area and have more time to find and catch survivors while survivors shouldn't want to just sit on gens while someone is hooked and it's beneficial to confirm the save.
This may need some work to get it exact but I feel it rewards killers and also survivors for doing objectives, reduces why you want to camp tunnel and farm and also buffs perks like make a choice, totems etc as you want to multi hook.
-
It depends for survivors in swf they are trolling, for solo they may be waiting to see if the others get out if they are in seperate gates.
Killers may slug and let them bleed out if the survivor has done something to annoy them.
-
The only issue with this is the gen rush, you should want survivors to heal as it's time not on gens.
Making them broken removes that and it's escape and get on a gen especially if they can hit you so easily with FF making it the same scenario as mend in reality minus the moonwalk scenario, it's akin to making mend not go down within x meters of them instead.
If they can never down you with m2 then its a useless power for them and they become just a 110% m1 killer making them even weaker than they currently are.
The issue is FF and how it's designed, this still doesn't fix the no counterplay argument as any competent legion will always get the first hit in as they negate all the mechanics survivors have of breaking the chase and this at the same time makes them even more loopable and overall a lot weaker.
Counter play shouldnt be about getting hit and then becoming stronger in the chase against them.
GL catching survivors at 110% and if you made them 115% with this it would make them be a cheap easy first hit killer.
-
There are adrenaline threads in between them 😁
-
1 - yes the nurse can blink through objects but they need to predict movements, if you break line of sight on a nurse she has to blink to where she thinks you are going where as the Legion just follows your movements at a faster pace, they will always get the hit using frenzy, what other killer using there power is guaranteed a hit?
The key to the nurse is to lose line of sight, don't just double back but sporadically change directions so they cant predict movements, being out in the open with any killer will get you hit.
Bringing in 360's isn't a great idea, no good killer fails to a 360, that's a git gud case if I had ever saw one right there.
The only true counter to legion is gen rush while not healing which is not fun for either side.
2 - The Legion will see your heartbeat when in the TR the Nurse cannot, you can't stealth around the legion in the same was as a nurse or most other killers, stealth IS when you are close not when you are out of the terror radious as that's generally the safe zone already, hiding behind a tree, rock etc you can evade a nurse looking for you.
3 - The Legion uses everything a survivor does, what skill is involved in following the survivor step for step, jumping pallets and windows till you hit them? You are using the same mechanics only faster, people keep saying survivor is easy mode then what does that now make legion?
The Nurse players yes can blink through objects but that's not the only reason they are good, the players need map knowledge, how long to hold the blink, predict where the survivor goes if they lose sight, again in a straight line in the open any killer should get the hit.
4 - the Legion will get the hit and that is the problem, the argument about no counter is just that, because they can follow you step for step it's very hard to lose a legion player unless they are new or just not that great at the game.
This is the crux of the issue, they are weak as the mechanics they use teeter them on the edge and could easily be made OP with even slight tweaks in certain ways, this makes them very tedious to play versus and to be strong with them alot of players succumb to the tactic of moonwalking to break the chase to run down the mend timer.
No matter what players will always find a way to use what they have to give them the best chance, this is why legion need a a rework as they can never truly be competative with how they are designed.
-
I've done it many times playing survivor, most of the time thought the killer won't, downs me and carries me to the gate, ive had them say thanks for the offer and they let me out for at least trying too and we have a friendly chat.
It does go both ways but a lot of it is dependant on how each person plays throughout the match.

@twistedmonkey The last thread got closed for no reason. It was simply an unpopular topic. I'm not violating rules and I'm telling the truth. There is no reason to shut down this discussion.
It wasn't due to being unpopular or this would have been locked already.
It was due to some players mentioning names which I expected this one too as well as some posters can't help themselves.
-
The last one got locked so you make another one? Lucky it's a Smurf account.
-
It is bannable but it's done using a percentage of the matches played and dc'd in.
It's not that it's not reportable its just an automatic process so there is no need to report, reporting this just makes all the other reports take longer to get through.
Hopefully when dedi servers come along it can be changed to a new better system.
-
I dont know why they couldn't just change the notification, another colour, a different look and sound something less intrusive so players don't get annoyed by it.
It's not a heavily used perk so nerfing it seems a bit of a strange thing to do.
-
Its a fix to dodging while masking it as a new matchmaking, dcing should be next and also an swf fix.
I wish you didn't use the words baby killers as that's just toxic and there is no need, it just keeps the US v them mentality alive.
Personally i would rather they waited till they can differentiate between swf and solo queuing and fix SWF at the same times as this was done.
I don't condone dodging but I also don't condone fixing an issue without the actual problem of why being looked at.
-
It can't be done, yes you could aura perks and notifications on screen but it will never be enough.
Solo will never know where the killer is at all times, if someone is about to go down, what pallets are used on the map, if someone can run in and take a hit, how far along a gen is, if the others are going for a save and that's just for starters.
To add all that it would need to be baseline and not perk by using perks, it would make the screen cluttered with notifications and also make the game mind numbingly boring knowing everything that is going on.
This is why they need to look at swf queueing as a separate entity and add more to those that choose to play in that mode, extra gens, more totems, no offering stacking, limit item use etc.
Knowing everything is a huge problem with this game and as a solo player it would make it very mundane.

Your still wrong, but I can't just rephrase everything again and again.
Just reread my posts and I will answer after you bring something new (and of value) to the debate.
Using bad map design (infinites) is not a "meta". It's basically just an exploit that needed to get fixed.
Same was true for pallet vacuum, it was just bad gamedesign that should never have made it into the game, but the Devs wanted to give the survivor an extra edge on chases.
It took them reeeeeaaaaaly long to admit that it was wrong and they fixed it.
The rest… see above.
Sabo meta.
Gen rush meta.
Now.
Thinking you are right does not mean you are, I can say the same 're read as I will no longer rephrase until.you bring something new to the table.
Regardless if infinites or the pallet vacuum were bad game design they still part of the game and when removed the players had to adapt to something else, the pallet vacuum for example had survivors waiting more at pallets than they do now, that was the meta until removed and then killers could hit through them more.
If a strategy is used and becomes the norm regardless if it's bad design it is part of the current meta.
Each side has adapted and that was my point, your refusal to see it is on you.
Sabo was also bad game design they took too long to sort, does that mean it wasn't part of the meta then?
The term gen rushing has always been a phrase but it did not start being a major problem till after the victory cube, it was a month or two after that when all the complaints started rushing in on the steam forums as before that it was complaint after complaint about camping and how the victory cube made it worse, it was also after that when the depip squad got involved.
-
@Wolf74 said:
"Actually it did start to happen then, when camping became the largest issue lots of killer mains laughed and said just do gens, it slowly started to come into play"
Simply...no.
You are wrong. What survivor call "camping" has ALWAYS been an "issue".
Because it is a way to play that they do not like.
Nothing changed there. Gen rush came after Sabo.
I play this game since 2016 and so far there had been TWO survivor metas.
Sabo was the dominant way to go when I started and only stopped with respawning hooks.
From there everything shifted towards Gen Rush. Nothing changed that.
And actually we are still in the full Gen Rush meta, because the "No Heal" is not common enough to get called "meta" at all.
So no… survivor do NOT adapt.
There you go again, I never said it was wrong to camp I simply stated what happened but you have to bring in the "survivors don't like that way" argument, so why do you complain about survivors strategies you don't like?
You are wrong with the gen rush, Sabo removal never created the gen rush, it actually became a major issue not long after the victory cube implementation as camping became a way to get an easy pip, the hook time was also increased at that time so they didn't have to rush for the save removing the urgency and staying on gens, hence they went hand in hand and the gen rush was complained about.
I have been around since 2016 also, the sabo meta was annoying and created the slug meta, so it was removed and right so but it never created gen rush.
Survivors have adapted just like killers have had too, each and everytime, if a meta changes, first it was infinites they used, then it was sabo, then it was pallets being too strong with the vaccum, next it was windows on jungle gyms and onto gen rush and now it's not healing and adrenaline, each change to all the perks and maps mean players on either side had to adapt, if you can't see that then there is no hope.
-
@Wolf74 said:
Your logic is actually wrong.
Camping did not lead to gen rush.
Gen rush came when sabo was nerfed and everyone ran SC.
SC is still op and in most cases "no heal" meta is just plain stupid.
Survivor actually refuse to adapt at all cost. As far as DCing on any killer that would force them to play different; Nurse, Doc, Freddy, Legion.
Don't sing the song of survivors "adapting", because they haven't done that for years.
Instead they came to the forum and complained about anything until it got nerfed.
Now killer learned from them and make their voice heard, now the survivor complain about the forum being "controlled by killer mains".
Actually it did start to happen then, when camping became the largest issue lots of killer mains laughed and said just do gens, it slowly started to come into play, when the SC nerf came in people still healed up as it was worth it, the only real complaints about players not healing have been versus the Legion which was out way after the gen rush started so your comment is the one that is flawed.
Survivors have adapted, this is why when they use new perks and each time it's met with a chorus of the same killer mains screaming "x needs a nerf" you see it almost daily so don't try to deny it, good killers also adapt it's the one who think they are good but are not that complain the most, it's just like those survivors who do the same they are both as bad as each other.
Unfortunately you are one of those that are biased so your comments are not taken seriously by myself, you see one side of the coin and if its a survivor nerf and killer buff you welcome it, if it's a killer nerf and survivor buff you scream it's unfair.
The rest of us see the problems on both sides, that's is why with the thana scenario hurts the game as we want more objectives to the base game without perk usage to prolong the game and not mindless perk buffs which are a band aid fix which make the game more mundane to play.
-
@Wolf74 said:
Please explain to me what is "sensible" about that answer?
The calculation is about the killer picking TWO perks to slow down healing and Thana at MAX effect with all 4 survivor injured.
And the survivor is using SELF CARE in this example.
So it's the most favorable situation for the killer with the slowest way to heal (without Botany Knowledge or a med kit, etc.).
And THAT is the reason for a buff to a super weak perk not making it through the PTB?
Sensible? Serious?
The 57 seconds goes for self care or if someone else heals them as they take the same time off gens, self care is more efficient and actually faster as you dont have to spend time finding someone or running to them.
Since a lot of killers already use ruin and sloppy is it so hard to believe they would switch?
It seems a lot of the people use your argument would use it otherwise what's the big deal?
-
The meta only came about with the healing nerf which certain killer players screamed for, now they adapted to a new perk like those players laughed about and told them too they come back and scream adrenaline is not fair.
It's never ending.
Killer camps - some told survivors to just do gens then gen rush came about and they complain gens go too fast.
Killer says healing is OP - survivors stop healing, do gens and use a conditional perk, gen rush goes even faster and now adrenaline is OP.
The players are adapting its jyst they dont like how they adapted, the game is changing and less survivors want to screw around as much making shorter games, some can't see what certain changes do to the overall game.
When asked about NOED well that perk is ok and it's conditional just like adrenaline of course, o some will say "but they can cleanse the totems" well knowing they don't cleanse them is a huge factor as most post about it laughing unless it goes against there argument of course.
-
As survivor evading the killer, juking them and watching them keep searching as I get away, opening chest, doing totems, gens and helping others, escape means little to me as long as I can get a good amount of BP's.
As killer fun chases with mindgames, I love it when they try to evade and I am there waiting and you see them panic, trying to hook everyone multiple times and making my own challenges as I play like getting a certain survivor hooked, stoppong a gen from being repaired, making them drop pallets earlier, therefore too many to mention, of course i also like lots of BP's.
-
Exactly making changes to the base game without a perk is needed not simply buff a perk to make the game play monotonous.
The second objective idea is what has been asked for and it's why making a perk which lets be honest would become meta is a bad idea as it's like you say a band aid fix, unless you have the perk nothing changes, it also negates the whole emblem system as that is by designed with screwing around in mind.
Survivors should see a benefit in healing up and want too as it slows the game down, not healing up removes more than just the one hit, it removes players taking more risks, flashlight saves, taking hits etc which also means they are not on gens.
I always say be careful what you wish for, if a player can waste over a minute before a hit what really changes? They still need to get them to the hook, That is still 3 gens done before the first hook, with thana still being useless as it's tier 1, then they save and they just rush gens again.
What thana does is punish newer players as it's the only one it would work on and they arent the problem anyway.
It would turn the game into do gens and get out, no matter what happens to gens or healing the good players would adapt and it won't make a difference, they already did with the healing nerfs and use adrenaline and now certain killers complain (the usual ones on here) about that when it never used to be a problem.
It does seem the vast majority don't even care about the thana nerf as it's only a few player complaining.
Personally I would never use it anyway, just like I don't use ruin, its situational and I have other perks I think are more fun to use.
Everyone keeps saying adapt and when they do and use another perk suddenly that's too strong, each time has been the same story.
As I said be careful what you wish for.
-
Only the character's created by BHVR are earnable in game via shards.
The licensed ones are pay only like Myers, Pig, Leatherface and Freddy.
You can earn all the perks in game also but that's down to the rng of the shrine.
-
The no counter argument isn't about how good or bad a killer he is, the no counter argument is due to the fact with frenzy they will catch you and hit you, any competent player will not miss.
Every other killer even the nurse you can evade and lose without being hit but w8th legion he uses the same mechanics as a survivor.
Legion is weak and that's also part of the problem, the best counter to him is to not heal and do gens as at 110% he is easily loopable without his power, the problem is when injured you will have that hit, mend, hit, mend over and over scenario if they are any good.
How You play also has no bearing as that is one person, I don't loop I try to evade but that doesn't mean playing ring around the pallets is fun for a lot of players hence there are still complaints about it.
When a killer can do everything a survivor does it negates what they have which is meant to try and break a chase, that is the one and only counter in a chase that is stable without the needs for any perks or items.
So what else is left? Survivors use the most complained about problem by killers of gens going to fast to there advatage, the heal aspect itself is designed to help slow the game down at certain stages but with the legion games I have been in they don't seem to heal at all, that is a tell take sign of a problem as gens then go even faster making the game not fun for either side.
Mend is the only mechanic added with the Legion, it is not new its the same old borrowed time mechanic with a new colour bar which doesn't run out in a chase, changing that wouldn't take long at all its tweaking some values.
-
They would need to make secret offerings not show at all for this to work (should be that way anyway), as Orion said some groups could abuse it so they never play versus Mori's with this and they lose nothing for taking turns on one member leaving upon loading.
-
This has been discussed many times, the problem is you don't then have meta perks you end up with meta characters, the one which is considered the best with the perks available is all you would see.
The only way I see around it is to give set bonuses base to character, like Claudette botany is 5% faster, meg Q&Q recharges 10% faster, Jake sabo is 5% faster.
Mainly the perks which aren't so meta on chars but can give just a little but more for using them.
-
I would support this, generally people play what they have the best perks on unless it's a daily and feed the ones they want to lvl.
Make every perk one tier but then you cannot use all the BP from one char to lvl another, maybe only 25% of them, this could create more variety in chars and killers you see at all ranks as you are better just playing them.
-
The problem is you have to use the "swf counters everything" when it comes to most things and blindness is one those at the top as it really only affects solo players.
If the devs truly want to try and close the gap why would they buff something which in turn increases it?
Its never going to be easy and maybe the third seal needs a completely new idea attached to it.
-
Latest patch notes on the ptb changed it to locations as that was what it was always meant to be.

@GrootDude said:
@twistedmonkey pretty much every legion thread starts as an argument.
@TreemanXD it seems more like every thread on the forum lol.
-
This thread has run it's course imo, it has now turned into a moral argument on what one should be obliged to do, anything you do when loaded into a game fair if its within the rules.
Tge only issues I have are Dcing and lobby dodging unless you have a real life issue or it's a high ping, anyone who thinks one is ok and not the other is a hypocrite as they are both the same, the devs have aknowledge these issues but until dedi servers come nothing will change it seems.
Suiciding however is something many do and it's not bannable for a reason, the game is not team based if you are playing solo, this game has a clear description of help others or don't, the game gives players a choice which is just like a lot of horror movies where you see someone leaving another to die.
No one is under any obligation to help anyone in the game it's a free for all, a 1v1v1v1v1 if you like and the only reason most players do is for points and to give themselves a better chance by giving the killer more fodder.
That is why some bring the killer to others, sandbag them, blow gens and run away, do a gen while they die, refuse to heal them, all of it is in the same vain as dying on a hook in essense, it's all part of the game and unless the devs deem anything is wrong there is no morality in it, you go in and play within the rules however you wish.
-
1 on all ranks up to red.
I dont use ruin as I feel it can turn you dependent on it, getting a 4k without it feels a lot more rewarding and you learn more about map pressure and chases imo, if I feel dependant on any perk I don't feel I know how to play the killer well enough.
I rotate killers and play with Hag, Doctor, Huntress, Leatherface, Trapper and Myers the most.
I steer clear of Billy and Nurse unless I have a daily as I like the chase and mindgames of the others along with the challenge.
-
Tbh it will only work versus newer or immersed players.
Those who flashlight will still run in as they will loop like crazy if seen, half the time you see them anyway as they want to be seen doing the clicky clicky to get your attention, even swf with hook swarming won't care as again you see them running in before pick up.
The others well empathy or bond will show someone in a chase and they will just get out of dodge like they normally do.
-
Moris put more tension in the game now and again, it's so rare I come accross one and I just have to play more carefully.
They won't change though until dcing gets more of a punishment and I dont think that will happen till dedi servers come about.
I still think it should be done on a timeout basis as those who do can simply join the next game and ruin it for others again and again, stop them playing for a while and maybe they learn it's not worth it.
Yes they can still kill themselves on the hook but that still take more time than press escape and leave.
-
The problems on both sides as you state.
Each side complains about the other instead of just playing.
I personally can understand both sides complaints about certain things especially with SWF ability to stack items, offerings and Legion not being fun.
It's on the devs to fix it all and we should all just accept the game as it is right now, stop dodging and dcing and continue to give constructive feedback.
I don't think I have ever seen a game so divided with so many people whining and crying who think their sides has the right to do something but if the other does it it's wrong.
This is why dodging and dcing needs fixed asap, i dont see it happening until dedi servers come tbh but i believe it will happen, some players might stop playing but if they do it leaves those who willing to play and to me that is better for the game in the long run.

You keep to define me like someone complaining, ergo, you continue once again, to not understand where I want to go. I wasn't scammed, deceived or made purchases where I knew there was a rip-off. These are just allusions or thoughts that make you rely on nothing, and I will continue to tell you to stay on the topic and let go of personal evaluations. I have not opened a post to hear from the first who does not share this opinion without giving me a reason or constructive criticism. These are the opinions of laissez-faire (if you know what I mean) that push people to say this, as long as their interests are not touched everything is fine, when instead the opposite happens then you understand when someone takes it. You are justifying this kind of mentality. I don't like this kind of mentality, nor the fact that you define me as someone who wants to block or alienate something.
I gave you multiple reasons, the failure to realise why it's not on BHVR or the fact of exclusive content is down to you, nothing will change it is what it is and you can preach all you want an ignore that but in the end you will not change anything.
BHVR will continue to do what they think is best for the business, they are a fish in a very big pond doing nothing different from millions of others.
If you wish to fight how things are done and get rid of scammers well that can only be changed with government intervention which will never happen as that means control of websites and censorship of the internet.
Posting on a forum here is not logical as it wont promote any change, it just serves to show you how pointless is it, when you see how many disagree with you and overall get ignored by the devs.
-
It's down to Valve in reality, never say never but it is highly doubtful.
-
This would be the same as survivors removing one killer maybe more they don't want to verse.
The game is what it is and no one should have control over what maps, killers, items they use it removes the rng factor.
The only thing I think should be implemented is the removal of swf being able to stack map offerings or at least make them equal to the killer choice.

you're still missing the point dude, seriously do not bother to answer me cuz i dont " think they shouldnt make exclusives as people can be ripped of by scammers " I'm saying something else, and I repeat, I'm suggesting a check, you think it's outside the BHVR, I think the opposite, I don't have to convince you of anything, I can only tell you to answer me for constructive reflections and not with obvious answers with "it's a silly logic, the world works like this" and? Is your contribution is make flame/spam or do you try to give me your idea? because you keep coming out of the topic of the discussion.
I am not missing the point, you believe instead of making an exclusives they should also sell it on the store! You do know BHVR haven't made an exclusive since the store came.
The whole thing and my argument is that its not a BHVR problem, it's a worldwide problem with everything exclusive, they cannot do anything about the feng situation as it's in the past, some people spent money to go there and got rewarded with it, you can't negate that by releasing it now to stop some people buying on a third party site.
If they went by your idea there would never be anything exclusive which will never happen, that is the crux of it.
This whole scam thing is an education problem not a company problem, it sounds more and more like you actually got scammed if you can't understand the fundamentals of it all.
Personally I have never seen a post anywhere of someone complaining about being scammed for a skin off of eBay, steam trades yes when they dont go the official market route but the answer for all of these has and always will be buy things at your own risk and they will take no responsibility and rightly so.
This is not out of the topic of discussion this is disagreeing with your idea or thoughts.

Shhh or get banned.
Why? They basically asked if BHVR has a system where fog whisperers get points removed for playing in certain ways or if it was emblem points tru3 was referring too, there is nothing wrong with that question.

It is also this mentality of letting go of a silly logic, yet I do not come into your posts to say that you are saying nonsense, when I have been repeating it to you for an hour now. You seem to like spamming instead of creating constructive reflections. Furthermore you are digressing while others at least are on the topic.
Your point and what you are referencing are out of BHVR's hands, it has nothing to do with them but you continue to try and make a point which is not relevant hence nonsensical.
I never went off topic I replied to what you stated, you think they should not make exclusives as people can be ripped of by scammers.
I simply stated that it is silly logic as scammers will try anything and everything and educating people is how you control it, scammers have been around since the term trading was coined.
Think about every pre order exclusive with skins over the years, those exclusives are a carrot to get people to pre order, should they no longer offer those skins in a pre order due to scammers? Hell no.

@EntityDispleased but since we are aware of the risks that the Internet offers us, why take a 100 pen if the company that produces it could give you one for 10. And since these "pens" had to end up in circulation, obviously there is something wrong ...
That is actually silly logic, scams are everywhere regardless of exclusives, should they stop making and selling iPad's as some have been sent an actual eye pad?
Nothing will stop scammers trying but you don't safeguard people by not making an item, exclusives or selling something at all, you do it by educating them as today's it's an iPad tomorrow it's Microsoft support on the phone needing access to your pc.

Again, I'm afraid you've really misunderstood the question, keep saying that I'm complaining when I say another thing instead. I respect your opinion but I have not said or written that I want skins or I am complaining that I do not have them, I only asked for hypothetical greater control over exclusive skins. The exclusive skins are also those of past events ... there is not only Golden Feng min as an example ...
If you're a BT player, and I'm not talking about children, you know that the scammers created a million dollar hole from a parallel trading in the steam market, they arrested them because the company did not check the transactions properly, they stole. Same thing happens here, now, I'm not talking that these exclusive skins can ruin the market to BHVR (we are talking about 100 codes not "yet" sold since 2017), I say only that although "precious" for the absurd price that they put on this skin , the phenomenon should be controlled.
I'd like there to be these skins but I'm not asking them to put them because I want them...
I purposely quoted you saying that BHVR should now sell these skins in your reply to not_queen, you actually did say those words.
The point is there is nothing BHVR can do to control the sale of what codes are left out there, you are referencing something which has nothing to do with BHVR so your point is not making any sense, no one can be arrested for selling something at an inflated price that they own, you do know some bought a few of them at a lower price to keep and sell for more later.
BHVR never had codes stolen so the same thing does not happen here, they gave them out free if you attended so there could be thousands, if there was a hole and they could be stolen you would see an abundance of every skin ever to be exclusive by means of a code out there.
You are arguing about a hypothetical maybe situation which isn't happening so your whole argument about tighter control is then mute as the control is there.

I'm afraid you did not understand the meaning of this post, I'm not asking BHVR to put golden feng min in the store, I'm just observing that there is no control over exclusive skins that are sold in parallel to the official store.
If the maximum you can pay for exclusive skins in the store is $ 10, why should you pay over $ 800 outside? if you have an account with games and skins the price would also be understandable or agreed.
I'm talking about Golden Feng Min because it is the prime example of a market that should no longer exist since the store is now the ONLY market where you can buy skins. That's why I talk about scammers, because the price is not sustainable and justified.
If we want to talk about crazy people who spend a lot of money on skins on other games we agree that the store is addressed to that type of people who really like that game but not only, I'm not and I do not want create a discussion of complaints on exclusive skins. It is only a reflection to which I invite everyone.
I didn't miss the point, your post I replied to was stating it should be sold by BHVR.
The fact is it was an exclusive code given out at an event.
What a person wishes to do with that code is up to them, the only things BHVR can control is there store not what hapoens on a third party site as they don't know the code being sold, there could be some given away free, not used as they didn't own the game, many reasons why they can't and shouldn't ban for someone activating it (which would be the only way they can deal with it)
What you are not getting is the market outside of DBD is nothing to do with BHVR, when someone gets anything exclusive it is now something they own, if they chose to sell it for a stupid amount of money then that is on them, if someone wishes to pay that amount then that is there choice, you do not or ever have to purchase the skin for $800, there is no correlation between that and the end store.
It doesn't hurt the dbd store market as the skin can no longer be purchased or earned by way of the devs, the only market is on sites like eBay.
Exclusive items on the dbd store are not exclusive, I don't think you understand what exclusive means, something that is exclusive cannot be purchased by everyone, exclusive is like limited edition, for something to be exclusive it is for certain people or there is a finite amount of them to purchase or earn over a time period and once they run out that is that.
You make no sense as the item was a one off, the ones selling it on eBay are simply selling what they own, it's not a scam it's a legit sale of an item, you may think it's a lot to pay, I may think it's stupid to pay but that is not the point, BHVR do not and cannot control the sale of something outside of the game.
Look at these trainers below
Only 3k pairs made, this is the same scenario a one off item, how do they stop those who paid $99 for them from not reselling them? They don't is the answer.
Your whole argument makes no sense for a few reasons.
BHVR have no control of what people do with a code once it's given.
EBay is not in BHVR's control and people can sell what they like for what they like when they own it.
The market outside for an exclusive cosmetic has nothing to do or has any impact on the dbd store.
There are no exclusive items in the store only earnable by playing and paid only ones.
There is no exact value of any exclusive item you can no longer get, the item is only worth what someone is willing to pay.
Nobody is being forced to buy it or being scammed if the code is real, if they chose to buy it at the silly price and are happy with the purchase that is their choice.

They could have been new, not sure of the game, not very good at it, hiding to wait out for the hatch, there are many reasons, does hiding in this game now warrant someone abusing spectator mode to lead a killer to them to get them killed?
How someone wishes to play is their choice and if its within the rules its ok, abusing the system like you did and griefing them by leading the killer there is not, that's the bottom line.
-
It's a thin line to walk, it's akin to teamkilling in an fps game where they can also punish you.
Accidental cases are fine but doing it on purpose all the time is another story and does need punished.
Its griefing afterall and ruining someones experience by being toxic.
-
This is why people hate the idea of SWF, that was a really scummy thing to do to another player by exploiting the use of comms with a friend in spectator mode.
There are no real rules about selling someone out if its a one off unless you are working with the killer, if the killer followed you and never tried to hit you with the sole puporse of killing the other player and someone reported you and it is recorded then you would have an issue with griefing or unsportslike conduct.

Where he goes to first on the map normally means ruin is around, Billy with the map pressure are fickle that way, if he chainsaw close to you after loading in look where he stops and runs around, use stealth and wait till he leaves, do a gen close enough (not too close) to it first as they may come back once or twice, after that wait till he is in a chase, then go for the totem or just power through ruin and ignore the above.
Hide behind a gen, change direction or use lockers for BBQ.
Drop the pallet a little earlier and dont try to stun them, this makes enduring and spirit fury wasted perk slots against you.
