I've had 4Ks that was an absolute miserable experience and I've had 0Ks where I had the time of my life. Give me those 0K games over those 4K games any day of the week.

OP: As others stated, there is almost always a thread created by someone. And fun fact, I originally started posting a picture of my cat Holly in them just to have an excuse to bump the thread since it can fall off the front page quickly and it's gotten popular enough that it's become it's own quasi-meme that Holly appears in code threads

To get back to the topic at hand, I do agree that it does kind of suck but I guess I don't think it's all that big of a deal. Worst case if it keeps costing you your achievement, yeah, just wait until January to try for it again. The achievement isn't going anywhere, it'll still be there in 21 Days once the special event ends.

Being in a SWF gives a team a very clear, very decisive advantage
While I don't think that's a reason to hate people playing in a SWF, that's why many killers do hate going up against them. Even if a SWF is not a Seal Team Six Squad playing like their lives depended on it, the advantage SWF gives you is still high just because of the information you get
Not to mention that, while you (hopefully) do not do this, many killers deal with Bully Squads, which are almost always going to be 4 man SWFs. The kind of players who go out of their way to not only win but to make the experience as unfun as humanly possible for the killer. So a lot of killers who hate SWFs think of all SWFs as that kind of bully squad, regardless of whether you were part of one or not.

Not how the add-on intended. Where on the add-on does it say "Survivors can get into lockers like brain dead monkeys to make this add-on completely and entirely useless, they will still die the same on hook, but they are going to do it anyways just to deny you the point of the add-on and the achievements"
Mikey has been in the game since 2016 and locker dodging being killed by him has existed since then
So two possibilities
A. BHVR hasn't noticed this exploit despite the killer being in the game for most of DBDs life and despite what seems to be a new thread every other day of people complaining about survivors not "letting the killer" get their achievement
B. This is an intended mechanic

Sure it sucks if you're going for the achievement but acting like the survivor is somehow cheating by doing something in game to avoid getting killed is strange

It is so that the killer can't just carry the survivor wherever they want. Namely it's to make the killer have to hook the survivor (relatively) nearby and can't just carry everyone to the basement on the other side of the map every down.
It's not really designed for people to use to escape from unless the survivors have some insane coordination and willingness to take hits or the killer gets ultra greedy in hook placing

There is no correct answer because different players want different responses. Some might want you to farm. Some might want you to just play normal. Some might want you to end the game ASAP. And just to mess with you, all three types will be in your same game so no matter which way you went, someone is gonna be pissy at you.

The few times I stream, I do not have TTV in my name but putting TTV in your name will always put a target on your back. This is a risk you take if you want to advertise your stream to your opponent.

I am perfectly fine with it as it is now.
Sure, there are situations where it becomes impossible to counter but every perk in the game has situations where you can't counter them. That's kind of the entire point of perks, to give you an advantage at a time when you normally wouldn't have an advantage.
I would take Nu DH in every single match on every single survivor rather than deal with old DH ever again

I was going to get the Dwelf cosmetic previously as it was something I meant to get but never did but now I kind of don't want to out of spite.
I suppose it wouldn't cost me actual money (I have 166,680 Shards!) but it's kind of the principle of the thing...

I've played against a Twin for the first time in months and she seemed to work fine. But I have heard of that particular bug so if it's something that happens enough, BHVR probably should Killswitch her
But as I stated to the op, the twins being a broken, game breaking mess (an important distinction between being buggy and being game breaking) might make her worth bulleting for now but not the entire game...

What is so incredibly broken right now that the entire game is unplayable and therefore needs to be completely shut down?
Like...they've killswitched the really broken perks. The Knight, while incredibly annoying with some of his bugs isn't unplayable or so broken that it needs to be shut down.
What else is currently active in the game that is game breaking? If you feel like things are THAT broken, you are free to take your own break until they are fixed to whatever your standards may be.

I don't know why people have such a struggle with this. Ignore them. You could play the most friendly killer way and there will STILL be complaints because not every survivor even wants you to hamstring yourself and/or farm games.
You play how you want to play. If the survivors complain, you do not concern yourself with their complaints.

I understand that symmetrical games can be balanced for both sides but you can't fold a paper that has different figures? They have a completely different shape!
Making an asymmetrical game perfectly balanced I agree is an impossible challenge.
BUT that doesn't mean they shouldn't try and at the very least, adjust items that are pretty broken. Things like old Mettle of Man, old Ruin/Undying, flashlight locker saves, old Dead Hard, current Eruption, etc. It's on BHVR to do their best to decide and fix what's frustratingly broken as one side might LOVE it but it's nothing but anger and frustration for the other side.

I've never understood this argument. Even if it is a "casual party game" (which I don't recall BHVR ever saying but we'll go with it), why would you expect them to not do their best to balance it? There are still two sides playing and having broken junk for one side might make them have a good time but the other side won't enjoy it.
Note: You don't actually specify what your complaint is so I'm assuming it's balance...

Dbd needs some high caliber killers after the knight update. Ever since he came out , I have seen him only once in the trials.
Right now , it better be Jason/Xenomorph/Predator/Pennywise/Dimitrescu/Terminators etc.. all of them will sell well.
Two low performing updates in a row would be risky for dbd.
If you are a fan of horror, I'd strongly recommend you watch the original Candyman and maybe the 2021 remake/remaster/sequel (wasn't as good as the original but it's still a solid movie).
While not nearly as popular as the big dogs, I'd dare say the original Candyman movie is one of the best horror movies period.

Is there something up with posting pictures or anything special we have to do now? The People demand pictures of Holly and Olive but every time I've attempted to post them, nothing shows up.Edit: If helpful, I am attempting to upload photos from my phone on the mobile siteEDIT 2: The pictures are now uploading. Not sure if it was a "me" problem or not but whatever you did to fix it has fixed it for me at least...
Also, on the desktop, if you get a quoted message, you have to click on the bell and then actually click on the post to clear the bell (on old forum, clicking the bell is all you had to do to clear the ping). Could that be reimplemented please?
Then lastly on mobile, I'm not getting the red "you've got mail!" ping when people quote or message. You can click on your PFP to bring up the bell and see if you've been pinged but there is no ping or sign that someone has quoted you on mobile.

I play DBD for the multiplayer and playing against robots kind of goes against that

I've been looking for something else to kind of do for a bit now. Covid messed with that and the couple of organizations I looked into mostly had daytime opportunities but I have a standard 8-5 M-F Office Space job.
This just fell into my lap and was perfect. That store is right down the road from me (pending traffic lights, takes me up to 6 minutes to get there) so it was a perfect storm of an opportunity.

Your favorite poster on the forum (...no, not GoodBoyKaru...no, not Mooks...no not Gent for crying out loud, it's Tippy!!!!) reached out to the organization where I got Holly and Olive because I really liked working with them for my cats and I love cats (and puppers but this place mainly works with cats) and I've been looking for a volunteer opportunity.
I've volunteered with them and it just so happens that they needed a "caretaker" for their local partnership with the pet store. Basically someone to come into the store each day to feed and water the kitties (especially water, they'll stay tiny and smol if you don't properly water your cats!) and change the litter box and whatnot. So in theory, we're about to see a lot more new kitty pics!!!

It used to be that when you clicked on the little bell when you are quoted, it would cause the red "1" to disappear. It no longer does that. You actually have to click on the message and have it bring you to your quote. As someone who is weird about these things (I want to go to the thread itself and click on it so I can read anything posted before I got quoted easily as well as whatever I was pinged with), I really do not like that and I hope that is something that can be changed back to what it was...

People seem to forget there are TWO sides in this game. While I like to eff around as killer in these events, not everyone does and just wants to play. And far far far too many survivors used the snowmen to bully killers as they were constantly used as a shield to block hits.
I'm super glad they made the changes

The only thing I REALLY don't like though is that the "new" popups under threads is dark. The background is also dark. You can barely see the "new" notification when someone has posted a comment in a thread now...

Events always has people who come back just to be jerkfaces during the event. Usually this starts dying down after a few days when jerkfaces get bored and wander away.
That's not to say there will be zero griefers later but usually the beginning is filled with them and it drops as the event go on. Some people just don't like the wonders of fun and whimsy I guess...
