- killers in other ranks will be matched with rank 1 survivors so it doesn’t matter
- dedicated servers screw over both sideS
- Yea, the new maps this time around were a bit too killer-sided but in fairness they have added breakable walls which are basically just pre-dropped pallets
- we’ve seen the hitboxes ourselves, they really aren’t
- soloQ is too weak but SWF is too strong, I agree with you it is an issue
- they don’t - For example Freddy is getting a nerf & the killers who do get buffs are the ones who need t
- again, a soloQ issue
- resources being limited is a big part of how survivor plays. You need to work with it and be resourceful
- latency issue, her hitboxes aren’t that crazy, it’s latency (which is being worked on) and yea the flashlight change was dumb
-
I hope people read the end, because I was going to disagree but actually you mirror my exact thoughts on how Freddy changes should go.
-
I don’t really see a point in the add-on to start with; he travels a set distance in a straight line
-
Some older killers have these kinds of item-counterplay such as Nurse and Hag
I guess the devs just haven’t thought of removing it? These are all killers that could do with a little less counter play
-
On a technical level the new Ormond is terrible
the ground clipping is messed up, causing Victor to constantly get stuck under it
The rocks you can walk on aren’t considered walkable positions, messing up Nurse, Victor and whoever else relies on the system
and another thing? It’s boring
-
I’m in the 0.1% for downing someone who had Victor on them 10 times
😎
-
This
-
2 mins of survivors hiding in lockers and doing nothing if they have brain cells. I only ever use it on “setup” killers like trapper/hag
-
yeahh as a killer main, Freddy is far too easy for how well he can perform, and his kit is far too bloated.
he’s boring to play against because his power is inevitable and slows the game down, not survivors “refusing to do gens”
-
It’s fun outside of red ranks. Once you hit rank 4 a lot of matches are survivors playing to screw over everyone else (including other survivors)
-
New maps don’t feel as interesting
As a killer, looping is really starting to feel the same between maps and the new graphics just make them, for the most part, look bland...
-
Ngl seeing Victor float several feet above a survivor is pretty funny. I’ve even found a few survivors accidentally because of it
-
did anyone mention that Victor can slide away during his “dying” animation?
-
Just make it permanently destroy all gens and call it a day tbh
-
More graphical updates?
meh
pig or clown I guess?
-
Yea I imagine it must be funny, like when they teased pyramid head and had to keep quiet when everyone started arguing over why it couldn’t be them lol
-
This is at high-tiers of play, where it's a commonly-known fact that killers are too weak (in those ranks)
-
It also really doesn't match his movement speed, it's like he takes one step forward and travels two steps in distance. It's always annoyed me on the endgame screen
-
awww....
-
Some loops and structures have multiple variations where some vaults & pallets don’t exist.
why? Because yes

@SweetTerror said:
What I find interesting is that most people that have good things to say about him usually play him with add-ons, as he seems to be very add-on dependent.
his add-ons are cool, but he doesn't need them to be good
I've only really been using his common add-on that makes you aim at the nearest survivor after bashing, and honestly I'm only using it as a cheap detection tool.
-
The dream world is bugged because of the patch that just launched yesterday, rip
-
It's mostly used for mobility and catching up between loops, I wouldn't use it for loops unless it's something like the shack where you're guaranteed to hit them with it
I've said a lot of bad things about it, but with some add-ons it can be fun and useful (most of the time)
Failing that, I've played against a few Blights who use his power to tunnel and quickly return back to hook, and I have to admit, his kit is pretty good for it.
-
Movement for Blight (and apparently other killers) is stuttery at times, usually around hills
Sometimes Blight can't move at all during their fatigue and shortly after
Some generators won't respond with survivor animations, for example the survivor will pull a lever but the lever won't move, etc etc. No matter how many times you re-try it on these generators, it never works
sometimes you simply can't hear certain sounds when you perform an action like hitting a survivor. A generator can be finished and you'll only know by the HUD
-
I always wonder about people who bring keys in lobbies - I feel bad for the other survivors because they've most likely been lobby dodged a number of times because of that one guy
This, of course, happens before I lobby dodge them myself.
-
The survivor doesn't scream on the killer's screen, but does on the survivor's so good luck lol
that aside, 30 seconds of usable time... yeahh it's not that great anyway
-
I don't think so, my queues for killer are almost instant!
my queues for survivor take forever, but that's pretty normal lol
-
It’s presumably a bug, since it was undocumented and seems to only affect certain killers
-
...F13 is still alive?
-
Agreed, I was surprised that Tapp was used instead of one of the many other characters available
-
It’s super noticeable and honestly pretty bad-looking. I’m sure it would look cool in 60FPS but at 30 it looks really out of place.
-
I mean, this kind of thing was possible by also using Thrill of the hunt, as that actually gives you a noise notification
I just wish exposed worked with his power though
-
I have to agree. The only notable changes were add-ons and many bugs from the PTB are still here along with new ones; dragon's grip is bugged to the point that it's almost useless.
-
Hallelujah
...but also yet another bug for the list
it can go between hooks not working and DS stun being shortened
-
I would be fine with stealth if people didn’t use it to stall games & be useless the majority of the time.
also, the loops that were nerfed did need nerfing, and survivors have been doing fine without them.
-
The art styles between the 2 games would make it impossible to add, one is a simple drawing and the other is “realistic” 3D models
a killer that disguises among survivors would be cool though
-
He is underrated (as well as clown) but also hated to play against, as well as the frustration of not being able to down with your power, not being able to miss with it & only being able to exit with a stun probably make him feel weaker.
...He is still weak compared to other killers, but like any killer, he can be effective when practiced
-
This also happens to me a lot, I'm not sure if it's lag or an actual issue, but it usually happens around the same areas of the map for me
-
He looks the same to me, maybe the blood in P3 just hides his... ugliness?
-
"As for the other options
Ghost face - whats the point theres already enough knife killers"
I love reading threads from a while back
-
the value you get from it overall, when survivors can run over 16 metres to another loop after being hit, combined with a cooldown?
On top of the fact it also activates on downing a survivor, effectively wasting a use?
It really shouldn't be a hex perk imo.
-
You're not wrong, but this thread probably didn't need bumping
-
the survivor screams on their screen but not on the killer's screen which is... Interesting?
this bug has been here since PTB, I'm surprised it still exists
-
Permanent effects are always risky to play with. The potential of blocking most pallets is rare but possible, much like in the early days of DBD when you could sabotage every hook on the map.
I think it needs its cooldown reduced (or removed) and have a slightly bigger radius, then it'll be fine
-
double the exposed double the style points
equip scratched mirror on top of it for maximum coolness
-
He does still toss it, granted not as far as on the PTB :( but I do think it's also bugged so it randomly drops at times instead of being lobbed
which is a shame, because aiming upwards and seeing how far you can get the syringe to fly is sort of fun.
-
Holding space bar instead of tapping it allows the animation to complete for me, which worries me as it could be intentional.
-
I’ve also been using this perk and it’s almost a must-have, it’s also pretty good for locating survivors too, ESPECIALLY in corn fields. It always surprises them.
-
Idk man, Legion’s theme is a good one too
-
my issue with him is that using his ability purely for mobility & hitting survivors while they're running to other loops means the bounce mechanic has literally no purpose or creative use. He might as well just run faster and it would be the same (it's also, imo, pretty boring to only use his power in those scenarios)
what irritates me is how inconsistent it is when bumping into objects. Even if the add-on that shows you where you will bounce displays on a wall, you can still slide off of it. Not to mention how screwy it is with hills.
I've seen a few people ask for lethal rush to be a basic attack, but idk how I feel about that idea
