Because a locker ds is 100% safety.
The last time i got locker ds was when i was going to check on a gen and spotted a new survivor as well as saw the unhooked survivor slow enter a locker through a window tile. This was after I had a lengthy chase, hooked and was searching for a new survivor they werent the obession so i figured they were a bit too slow in hiding, since it was a while since i saw them I thought it was a mistake I could capitalize on. Game ended in a 3 man escape but i took one of the cockier survivors flashlight with franklins still depipped though

Red rank on pc, they are non existent. I only see sweaty killers with mori tunneling the guy with the crown.
There's your problem. Farmer killers are in low to mid ranks. Had a doc and huntress farm but most killers play normally or intend to troll would be crowned survivors.

Noed 1 - exposed status effect if dull totem is still up but get a 10% movement debuff
Noed 2 - exposed status effect if dull totem is still up but get a 5% movement debuff
Noed 3- exposed status effect if dull totem is still up but get a 0% movement debuff
I feel like it will still be used but having the thought of being slower in exchange of 1 hit down at the end of the game some killer might use other perks. Alot of survivors say that killers should be punished for failing keeping the gens up and this movement debuff would be a slight punishment .
The OG Noed was guaranteed and permanent during endgame. When hag introduced totems it was relegated to being a totem perk. You want to nerf it further ok i guess but speed debuffs of any kind almost ensure the survivor will escape.

You do realise that survivors also have to find the crown? It isn't just "put in their inventory". The survivors have to do more work for the crowns.
Also you say thet if there was a killing requirement then survivors would try to deny the killer kills..... thats what survivors do. They survive. And yes i know that killers kill but i just wanted to point out all the points yu made were pointless.
Also as you say. "low rank survivor" low ranks and red ranks are two completely different mindsets.
You're right what I meant was if killers had to get X amount of hooks or hook on special hooks survivors would actively break them despite being hooked does not negate their ability to earn a crown. Much like the BBQ Summer event survivors would break the event hooks to deny killer their progress and how killers would guard event gens to prevent survivors their progress. Survivors have to survive otherwise it would be like the hallowed blight event where, once they get their item they would immediately try to get hooked and suicide on hook to go to the next match for more of that item. Whenever one side has to do an action if there is the ability to negate that the other side tends to try and do so or work around to get their progression faster.

If anyone played Darkest Dungeon the crowns remind me of that "afflicted" symbol. It's a bit odd but it would have been cool if they revamped the gens and hooks like prevois year events.

No, with your logic all 115 speed killers need a nerf because they all operate the same way.

I am under the impression some of the challenges dont calculate correctly. Kate's use dance with me 3 times in a chase is one of them. I jumped through windows and pallets several times in a chase, one game making sure to jump through 1 per chase without it on cooldown and still didnt get it. Also the complete x things is more tedious than anything since the perks to make it easier arent always on the shrine for purchase not to mention some nearly throw the game.

Assuming you got the crown that's 500 and finishing with the crown is a bit more. Hard to say exactly how you got there without a rough breakdown through emblems

Few hours ago I came across a farming huntress so a few do just most don't.

Sometimes the crowns bug out and some restarted the game and had them, other times they had to do it a second time. I noticed that the crown isn't really obtained if you move before you see the sparkles around the side of your screen/character.

The first pick up uses unbreakable the rest are from soul guard.

If it's archive related get to a high enough tier and buy the pass if you dont have it already. If you want the deathslinger crown play as him and collect the crown in a match.

Thanks .my favorite perks to use are Any means Necessary and Lithe. i had figured this combo out while trying to counter deathslinger.
So the windows/pallets do work for then?
Yeah though you need a fair bit of distance if the killer will hit you during the start of the pallet animation or in the small area after you land on the window. Ping also plays a factor since the server could register the killers action before yours.

You cant even steal their crown it doesnt drop from them it just evaporates with their body. Only 1 pedistal is on the map at amytime when someone takes it, it moves elsewhere.

Starting to play survivor but i love Kate already. Windows of opportunity and dance with me allowed me to vault and lose pyramid head in The Game.
Try lithe and dance with me after you vault you get a speed boost and no scratch marks perfect for maze like tiles and the like.

I play on PC too but OP doesn't which is why I put myself in their shoes. You come off as holier-than-thou abd didn't seem to acknowledge that I said I let some survivors go which in your original post to OP seemed that 2 escape 2 die would have been fair enough.
As for "being the reason" survivors should just get to keep it we had that scenario if you remember Hallowed Blight. Survivors would suicide on hook once all the pustials were gone and the forums were ablaze more then as opposed to now so don't give me that excuse. Besides some survivors I faced dont even go for it and if they do it is as an after thought. I have yet to run into a team that tried to communicate they wanted to farm if they did I happily would.
I dont go out of my way to kill those who found a crown but I'm not going to hard throw either. 2 hook states each is enough for a decent devout and if gens arent blitzd I am more than happy to let everyone walk since I dont have a deficit to make up and am guaranteed a safety that way everyone wins. Only survivoes that are free game are ones that have it or are liscensed.

I played 5 hours of no-kill killer today because of people like you.
If someone false reports me on a game system that takes multiple reports as fact and punishes you for it. Yes they are being entitled.
I mostly play killer but some games I let the crown getters escape sometimes I don't. Only if I find a crown with a survivor in chase or, carrying them to a hook are they gauranteed to go.
As low ranked survivor no killer let anyone just walk for free nor are they supposed to or did I expect it. You sound incredibly upset that others are not playing like you which I dont fully understand since it is a 2 week long event and not a single day event. Besides it takes (some) work to find the crown it isnt just put in their inventory and if therevwas a kill or hooking requirement everyone knows the forum complaints would still flow in probably moreso since survivors could actively try and deny the killer their permanent cosmetic.

Yeah if you move before the sparkles appear it cancels the interaction. That happenedto me as clown but i didnt notice i didnt have it until the round ended and had to try again.

I was playing huntress on autohaven. A survivor i was chasing passed by a crown so after I downed them I grabbed it and hooked them. Next time I saw them I downed them and dropped them next to a crown I saw and ignored them the rest of the game.

Mending does not count as a healing action it's just that madness takes precedent over it.

Yes like other event cosmetics what you earn you keep. If they vanish for whatever reason go to customer support.
Though once the event ends you cant get them unless it comes back next year.

You find the crown in a trail and interact with it. If sparkles appear at the side of your screen you have it.
Yes you must do this for every Non-licensed killer if you want them to have it.

The only crown i got was at the end of the match being the sole survivor of legion. They were fully intent to kill me but their cooldown let me finish opening the doors and leave.
Try to look for the crown near endgame you'll have much better luck against the crown police.

It's easier to gst it on killer but you can only get it with non licensed killers and you have to get it as each individual killer since it is not universal.

They aren't single use like firecrackers or keys, plus you can just pick them up later amd not get hit when exiting the gates.

Everyone that is not liscensed can have a crown. So if you can get them with shards they count

I play killer as normal unless i can't find the crown myself. If i am shown where one is even if it's unintential in a chase I return the favor and let the survivor who showed me get a crown themself and leave.

They really should have just given the cosmetics to everyone who had an account since the date of the respective events. At least those who didnt have it but earned it gets theirs and those that didnt care for them can just ignore them.

I play on off with long breaks in between I came back because I wanted to get Huntress' memories before the rift ended, now I want to grind to tier 34 for that sweet military skin she has.

Exactly this. A game I used to play called Kurtzpel pulled a stunt similar to what is being suggested and in the update introducing it they also hammered down the amount of ingame currently increasing the grind a lot as an incentive to spend money for boosters.

Yes, I have bought individual pieces instead of a full outfit because I don't like certain parts of it. Take blight huntress for example, I don't care for the mask and the weapon is whatever to me. So I got the body, slapped my hound mask on and gave her the boar weapon. I bought a plague doctor's head and nothing else for his cosmetics and recently got Feng Min's "Toxic GG gamer" shirt thorugh shards since I liked how it looked with actual pants instead of those stockings.

My first attempt at the 15 hatchets in one game left me at 9/15, not bad but I have to try again. Sucks since I can't really communicate with survivors and I climbed out of low ranks so I'm up against mostly high ranked survs with a few middles thrown in. Can't really message them since Steam takes its sweet time opening their profile and if I do it in game they either won't notice or care.

That happened the same with a friend of mine but he kept in touch many times with BHVR and they solved it.
It's great that you can use your skins now but what I see from BHVR is a lazy way to ''solve'' your - and of many others - problem by simply giving the cosmetics for everyone because they can't control or even figure out how to give the event cosmetics properly.

I had my hounds mask go missing after some update I think it was in March. I provided them my information as well as a screenshot before and when I had it go missing and they got it back for me. Did your friend have a screenshot before their mask vanished?
