dosen't matter. no one should have to run a perk to counter a build. read @edgarpoop comment if you need a more detail answer

hex face darkness proc every 25sec making it nearly impossible to stop. Even if you manage to cleanse one of them it just getting penti. Trying to do the totems is a dummy mission so you basically need to let them have free reign with their hexes. It almost always devour with it of course.

ran into a hound master who kept sending the dog to check totems. Game was laughable.
over 40 seconds to cleanse just so they can penti. I run object when i play so i went near a dull fully expecting undying vs the hound master.......and 🤣🤣🤣🤣 of course it was undying/devour OF courseeeeee.

The Houndmaster was a killer I was already very skeptical of in the PTB. I felt that no matter what buffs she got, she'd still be a low-tier Killer. Lo and behold, after the chapter releases and I get to play her I'm not surprised in the slightest, unfortunately. Snug's chase is so, so wildly inconsistent and mediocre it makes me question how the devs thought it was ok. Snug barely feels he can pull survivors towards you, and on top of that, he manages to also be one of DBD's buggiest powers meaning your not just fighting the survivors in a match, but also praying that snug doesn't for whatever reason decide to spaz out and not work. Snug's Search on the other hand while feeling better still feels really, really strange. Many times when you send him off somewhere to search it feels like the path he creates is just not where you want it to be, especially when it comes to multi-floor maps like Gideons. Speaking of indoor maps, you might as well be an M1 killer on all of them because it is very apparent the devs did not consider how he would work in a place like Lerys.
Overall I'm just kinda disappointed but not surprised. DBD personally for me and many others it seems like has been going through yet another rough patch, so I was hoping this Killer would bring me back to the game. Unfortunately, it looks like I'll just have to wait for Freddy's rework because this Killer's design feels so flawed I don't think she's ever gonna be anything other than a C-tier Killer.
play 7 matches and won almost all of them vs the hound master (beside 1 teammate dc on down instantly game) . Her aesthetic isn't bad to me but her gameplay terrible. The dog very awkward to loop. The dog randomly flying out of frame in chase to the point u don't even know when/where you should be dodging. Snug often can be right on top of someone and not grab them from a survivor prospective. It just look bad in my opinion. Haven't play her but she don't look simple at all which is good. People obviously learning still so i don't wanna say much more.

2v8 goated! better than base mode if u ask me but NO. They can't bring it back without solving the q times. The community definitely not going to tolerate it for a third time in a row.

wow that came out of left field buta very good change. It was taking way to long to fix all the maps anyway. I know killers are rejoicing right now 🤣🤣

Played escapist the most because i thought it was the most fun.
As killer i used brute the most because there's so many palletsi saw escapist pick rise at the end of the 2v8 (maybe because of wraith frequency). I only use brute on wraith myself but boi is it strong. 3% speed on someone who can reliably keep people injured and the faster break it provide mix with shadow dance basekit. wraith was definitely my most used killer and I never took brute off

I made a habit of playing whatever role needed someone most, and ended up playing Escapist most followed by Guide. So definitely Medic and then Scout were the most popular

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: I was stuck & couldn't move after being saved
PLATFORM: Xbox Series S
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
- Downed by Wraith
- Wraith picks up after slugging for a few seconds
- Dwight blinds the killer with a flashlight to save me
- Unable to move once free, but able to move around & crouch
- Wraith downs me again & puts me in a cage
- I get unhooked & am able to walk again
VIDEO:
UPDATE: It just happened to me again on a different map with a different killer
VIDEO:
i seen this bug happen without flashlights being involve. A survivor got down and two medics pop their power to instantly pick them up. That preson who got pick up couldn't move

It is something. Maybe instead of just one escape, you need to escape 3 or 4 matches. I would support that. I think allowing killers the option to play against bots with a bloodpoint bonus would also help lower queue times. I think instead of 2v8 they could look at 2v6 as an option and give the survivors 4 health states to offset the lower number of survivors. There are a lot of options to help with queue times if BHVR thinks outside the box.
The problem with the 2v6 is everybody will be to busy saving. Most of time the killers are chasing 1-2 people minimum, it always at least one person currently hook minimum, and multiple people running for the hook saves. Gens will not get done fast enough in a 2v6. I do agree with your idea that they should reduce the number of survivors and slightly buff them to compensate. I say go with a 2v7 first

- Wraith because there is nothing you can do vs 1.5s uncloak bug
I think it blight but wraith second for me.
wraith a complete beast in this game mode because of that bug. It definitely faster than 1.5 sec. He's almost guaranteed to get the ambush hit off every time. Wraith been turn into a rush down killer in this damn near. U shadow dance a pallet, windstorm your way back up to survivors, and instant uncloak (not to mention most of them running Brute). He feel way more relentless despite the over abundance of resources.
-
dredge, unknown, and clown . They would be the easiest to buff
Hag and twins- only good at camping and slugging. They would be terrible in this mode with all the basekit counter to tactics survivors have.
Skull merchant- bad rep...(might increase killer q times even more) :)
plague, legion,oni- these three would need nerfs to there kits which will not go over well.
Trickster- Probably the most unfun killer to vs in the game.
The rest of them is whatever (doctor, hound master, artist). You can probably add them as well and no one will freak out

2v8 is peak dbd

im having alot of fun! Survivor is alot more better now then the first iteration!
2v8 round 2 is actually a lot better this time around for survivors able to get pallet and flash saves and the insane class ults is a comeback dream Medic ive gotten a 6 man heal, Guide you can pop an entire gen in seconds, Scout rebuilding strong pallets is a life saver!
Survivors i think is on the right path to being a better experience in 2v8 and were escaping alot more then before cant wait to see the stats!
2v8 the most fun i ever had on both sides. I like the last iteration of the 2 V8 more but this one still good. Survivors definitely got over buff with the repair speed stuff. Play some games with @HerInfernalMajesty and had a blast. Even got a good excape streak going... which is unheard of in solo q.
For killer solo q brutal but a duo feel pretty good. My killer games go about the same everytime. 3 gens pop with a few hooks and then the team fall apart from endless unhooking and healing.
-
I only play one match with wraith in the 2v8 but i immediately felt the delay uncloak. I'm not sure do it trigger every time but it was definitely noticeable in pressure situations.

"So game for killers became boring very quickly"
This was not really the issue. The issue was that not enough Survivors were playing the mode. Killers were more than enough, otherwise they would not have had 15 minutes queue times.
And while the changes are certainly a step in the right direction, I dont think that it will improve that much. My guess is that queue times for both modes (2v8 and 1v4) will be really high for Killer once again.
They added blight. I'm expecting the q times to be even longer than previous. on the bright side...... that 400% bloodpoint bonus on survivors can really paid some bills!

I'm really looking forward to it & i'll play at least 75% survivor, clearing old tome challenges (where no particular perk required) was a breeze most of the time & it felt like I actually had teammates who wanted to survive! Sure not all 7 but enough to make the games close.
On the killer side I still only have trapper, none of the others I ever play beyond achievements or tomes, did main hunteress for a solid 6 months but that was over 6 years ago & everyone else did (& still will) pick her anyway.
I like the changes too.
The old chest tome challenges are easy in the 2v8. "open 8 chests" You got throw to do that in the normal 1v4. Also many of challenges that want u to play specific character.
-
nobody complain about killers running 4 slow downs anymore. (probably because it no longer a guarantee win)
i really don't like tur3 but he definitely stood no chance at winning that game. Ultimately he lost due to advantage but that not that rare thing when playing dbd. A 4man with decent loopers who good with hyper focus/ stake out... Probably GG. Builds that help rush your objectives will always be cheesy to some degree because it simply give your opponent way less opportunity for skill expression. They should've been cap repair, healing, sabotage, & regression speeds.

TS peice did not get nerf and they probably want touch Myers again. Very disappointed

It may or may not be too powerful, but I do think that regardless of that it’s a step in the right direction. Once tunnelling is dealt with then BHVR can focus on making playing around 12 hooks more manageable for killers. And this seems like a really good way to combat tunnelling without it being able to be abused offensively like the previous anti-tunnelling perks.
"And this seems like a really good way to combat tunnelling without it being able to be abused offensively like the previous anti-tunnelling perks." True! no crazy amount enduranceto to body block with. I'm just gonna be quiet and see how it play out.

I think the initial reaction to this perk is that you're drastically overrating it's effectiveness.
Maybe if the perk didn't announce itself, then spreading hooks would actually be beneficial since you'd always want to be in chase.
As it is, this perk heavily incentivizes following the hook stages. Since the unhooker will scream and become exposed, you know who it is that has that hook stage now. So technically you aren't tunneling because you switch survivors, but it's not that hard to figure out that Ace is the one with the hook stage and is the new best target.
With the barest amount of game knowledge (knowing survivor screams) you can still get someone out in 3 hooks, especially since this can't be used on death hook.
But since many killers struggle with game knowledge and game sense, they'll just continue to camp and down the unhooker in one shot, then probably still tunnel off hook.
can't u just run calm spirit. i could be overreacting but idon't think so

I hope it goes live. Maybe even buffed a little bit replacing exposed with endurance.
Oh my god can you imagine how funny it will be when the Killer finally thinks they killed the best looper 🤣🤣🤣🙂↔️🙂↔️
Is it just me or is it a little bit warm in here?
🤣🤣🤣
i could see tru3ta1ent blowing his mind in such a situation. "Is it just me or is it a little bit warm in here?" it just you....bloodlust demon!!
-
I don't think the game balance enough to go for 8 hooks before a kill. As killer who don't tunnel much i still need someone dead around 6 hooks
This perk will easily be meta so every game u will be going through nearly max hook states before a kill. someone dead when the killer have 3 hooks total is terrible and i love the fax this perk combat tunneling. i would personally like to see this perk change in a way that it still strong against tunnelers but less effective against those who spreading hooks. Maybe deactivating if the killer reach 5 unique hooks or something?
-
Shoulder the burden kinda blatantly overpowering but i love the fact that it one big middle finger to tunnelers. obviously the perks shouldn't go live though 🤣🤣

Adrenaline, Boil Over and Distortion nerfs were the last straw for me. Distortion has one single charge while killers get to wall hack all game with constant aura reading JFL. You can't even hide anymore in a game that was based on stealth. Survivors are just supposed to be playthings for a killer's ego and not allowed to have counterplay?
These devs don't understand how to make a game fun. I remember an interview with a dev in another game who said the aim should be to make all abilities feel powerful, because it's FUN and balance each other out. Gutting any useful perk to the point no one with any sense would take it is effectively removing it from the game.
Survivor perks don't really get gutted often
DS and Iron will been brought back into the meta. DH and adrenaline still pretty solid. CO2 and mft got nerf heavy but that about it. I don't even know why you would bring up boil over.

BHVR has to make all these things in the game due to killers. Anti face camp, three gen solution, etc. Its all due to killers playing the way they are.
Since nothing really is done about problematic things, play killer more. Survivor has lost a lot of its charm and polish since its been buried in the Dredges void hole.
"dredges void hole" 🤣🤮🤣🤣
i play killer more anyway but yeah solo q kinda cook. Only play bare minimum in a duo when i do play. I just waiting for the 2v8 honestly. That's the most fun I had playing Survivor in a while

Tombstone…basekit?! One of the most complained about Myers add-ons in the game…basekit.
That is certainly an opinion. I think I'd eat a hat if that ever happened, you'd have to completely rework how tombstone functions to have something like it basekit, at which point it's not really the same tombstone.
-
Rancid abattoir and Haddonfield is full of dead zones.
Pale rose is another map with dead zones but it actually got some strong places unlike the previous mentions. The docks & the boat good but you often get a pog log loop, shack ,and 1 filler pallet for the entire other side.
RPD, Greenville, Dead dawg, Forgotten ruins- Built in 3gens that hard to break. Can favor survivors once broken....sometimes
chapel, dead dawg, wreckers yard- small maps = easier gen patrolling
The variation of suffocation pit have no easy 3 gen to hold while still maintaining plenty of strong tiles. People don't really talk about it but this map survivor sided if u ask me.
groaning storehouse, grim pantry, mother dwelling- Main to strong to chase.
All of the extremely survivor sided maps like badham are a instant gg for half the killer roster

Haven’t the devs said on a livestream or something that they intend to sell alternate mori animations? I would think this has driven the decision to push the finisher mori forward.
