Depending on my mood. my regular build when I'm chilling just having fun and not caring about winning
windows
kindred
bond
some sort of exhaustion perk
But if i really wanna win because I'm fed up with my solo q games for the day then I'll switch to a gen rush build.
(BNP/toolbox)
hyper focus
this is not happening
stake out
built to last

Wiggle regression was 0.05 c/s.
So it took nearly 5 and a half minutes to fully regress a 99% wiggle.
It was next to useless honestly. By the time it had done any worthwhile regression they were already up.
5mins! lol
Why am I even surprise! I hear legends about all type of crazy nonsensical stuff from back than

Because sabotage duration is long enough to the point just staying there makes it waste of time, and that is largely made from assumption wiggle meter regress quickly which wasn't the case, survivors can even move to pallet within that time anyway.
It doesn't really matter if killer decided to proxy camp slugged body because without counter perks it's guaranteed to get immediate down after pick up, it doesn't matter if killer decided to not do it because if then killers will just ignore it's existence and consider it as a pressure value, removing regression did nothing to help those while tremendously hurting last survivors by forcing killers to slug them.
"Because sabotage duration is long enough to the point just staying there makes it waste of time"
assuming they will wait for that hook to return? There plenty of hooks in close proximity of each other on half the maps. You can just option select to the next hook once there wiggle regress depending on the rate of the regression. also assuming survivors are not trying to heal them up which will be reason enough to stay as well.
"and that is largely made from assumption wiggle meter regress quickly which wasn't the case"
yeah i don't know what the wiggle regression rate was back in the day (way before my time). I can see your point but the change just isn't needed to me.

Probably the easiest killer / playstyle in the game and with the healing nerfs it just feels like an absolute chore to play against him.
Sloppy, bamboozle, shadow dance and boom you win 90% of your games.
I hate to sound like I’m just complaining but playing against Wraiths just always feel awful and the dude absolutely destroys solo queue teams.
i can't believe u said a wraith build and didn't put noed there lol. It pretty much basekit on him. Also most of them run nurse calling after the last patch.

? the point is that you prevented hooking, allowing survivors to pick up dying survivor and get the value from certain perks, and if you don't have those perks killers would just hit him again and hook it anyway, if killer wasn't interested in proxy camping slugged bodies then it doesn't really matter because he will not be picked up by killer regardless.
¿ completely disagree
There little reward from preventing a hook if the killer can just drop, let the wiggle meter regress, and pick right back up. They will not move that far away from body to give other survivor a chance to pick up. Of course they will proxy camp the slug into than! why would they leave? When the hook is still very much obtainable

Actually, for some extremely weird reasons they even managed to make it so survivors won't regress wiggling progress during being slugged, making them unhookable if killer failed at it once and dropped it.
It's unbelievable because all it does is making survivor's life unnecessarily miserable.
"Actually, for some extremely weird reasons even managed to make it so survivors won't regress wiggling progress during being slugged, making them unhookable if killer failed at it once and dropped it."
what would be the point of the already weak sabotage mechanic if u can literally drop without any consequences. body blocks would be significantly weaker as well

fun to go against!!!! He can go from having full control of the map to none in instant. His biopods surveillance game give him endless info, he can teleport right on top of people so he got great map pressure, and he can run through pallets quicker than bubba. All the tools to be A tier but can also can be reduce to trapper level through emps. i kinda like the shift in power throughout the game and he play in super unique way. This chapter was a cult classic and I'm not being sarcastic. The map gorgeous! small and easy to 3 gen on but also a strong main building so the survivors can loop it up. Made for this should be look at maybe but the killer super fun to go against. The nerfs to emps coming soon as well.

killer: Deceptive- interacting with a locker while running will trigger the following effects:
●you will not check the locker
●The Locker's doors swing open and close swiftly.
● no audio queue
● suppress your terror radius for 5 seconds.
Deceptive has a cool-down of 60/50/40 seconds.

That's been a thing since the beginning of the game. Once you hit a certain skill level, you stop caring about being injured and instead focus on gens, sometimes even running a build around it.
Most of the time, it's just not efficient to heal before doing a gen, even more so against certain killers like say Legion. Of course, it's also very situational.
I've lost games because no one healed when we had the chance and I've lost games from a healing loop. There's no real right or wrong there and it depends entirely on what's happening in the match.
on top of that we in a meta that take longer to heal do to sloppy and we coming off a nerf to medkits/coh. Survivors don't find it wroth healing as much when u can just proc adrenaline to do the job.

Each time a perks come out and give some little advantage for the survivor, it's the same thing
I don't know what is a "good designed perks for survivor" each times someone respond to this, even Hope is not a good perk because the haste effect, even if it's only in the endgame, adrenaline, too op, gen perks, too op (but I understand that, the gen are too fast with the good perks and a toolbox) healing perks, too op, aura reading for survivor? If the survivor can see the killer aura, too op, even distorsion now people complain about that
So yeah, if people are mad now because EACH PERKS who are "good" for survivor ,people complain about it and it got nerf
And... About the killer perks who are nerfed lastly... It's not really about the perk himself, but because a lot of killer used them for only "three gen"-ing
When Killer camp, slug, tunnel, three gen, people say 'git gud and use perks if you have some problem"
When it come for the opposed side, the perks have to be destroy
I'm the only one who find that NOT logic?
i think both sides go after whatever in the meta from the opposition and when it get nerf move to next most useful thing. That just the way dbd work

I'm sure this is an unpopular opinion, but I think SM is a better killer than Singularity. After suffering through playing Singularity all week, I gave SM another try and my first game back as her was so nice. I actually felt like my power wasn't completely useless. Yes, survs can easily disable drones but the haste and information from claw traps is a nice trade off.
With Singularity, if they disable a pod, you get nothing for it in return. You're truly an M1 killer. What's worse is you can see a gen about to pop on the other side of the map and can't do anything to stop it. At least with SM the added haste makes it a bit more feasible to get over there and interrupt the progress.
Also, being able to recall drones remotely is a huge help. Makes no sense why you have to fire another biopod at one to remove it and get it back. This makes strategizing with pods much more difficult than it should be.
And no, I wasn't even trying to go for a three gen. I was just playing casually but still felt like I had a chance unlike with Singularity. Hopefully the EMP nerf will help, but I'm not so sure it will.

Title. I am a small time streamer myself, lucky to get two viewers when I do stream, and alternate between having TTV in my username and removing it. I had put it on again recently since I had started streaming more regularly to see if it might get me more engagement.
Went against another TTV who I looked up post match to see if he was live, and he was, to say GG and found myself chatbanned from his channel. No idea what I did; I didn't camp and tried to avoid tunneling or slugging since none of the survivors were being toxic or showing BM.
He did boast about his time played and devotion level in his stream title so was he just salty to have lost to someone he considered less experienced than him?
dont forget about us when u make it big!!!!!

This photo is an example, if you don't have an vaulting perk and isn't using a speedster killer survivors can easily loop for minutes even without the new haste perks.
As a legion you can use your power for the first hit but after that its just a survivor jumping a window and you too after him. He will go around the house and jump again and again, if you mind game he can just keep running all the way to the other side resetting the loop. On this variant of the photo I was playing doctor and I had three windows open on the first floor of the house and one more upstairs. Using the power did not work I tried every trick I had up the sleeve when I got something near to a down the surv just switched the path a bit to another window. Or somebody just bodyblocked to reset it all
This is not the only busted thing in haddonfield the main house has two good windows on the first floor and one upstairs always.
The houses are super strong indeed. The map isn't balance in anyway.
I don't know why they thought putting one pallet in the middle of a big ass street was a wise move. Even on the outskirts the map is full of two types of $hit pallets. They are even long wall pallets with nothing eles in the area so the killer can zone u behind it, break it, catch up, and hit u because it nothing near by (these type of pallets are behind main building and on the side of it in the Garden). And u got the pallets with a short side and a even shorter side! which are behind most of the other houses.
So you got a massive dead zone in the middle of the map, bad loops on the edges, and multiple houses with groaning storehouse main building level of power.

That’s fun how ? The only fun thing about survivor is looping
Yeah but to be fair many killers power does the exact same thing.
artist place down a bird- sorry u can't loop here!
skull merchant place up a drone- sorry u can't loop here!
dredge put down a remnant- u most likely cant loop here
clown throw 2 to 3 bottles- u most likely can't loop here.
knight just another in the long list

So old DH was very strong (overpowert) against every Killer. The strong Killers like Nurse, Blight and Spirit needed some extra seconds to get the down and dead harding against them I would say was fine. The weaker Killers got absolutly gestroyed by DH and I would say dead harding against them was rlly mean, but what does MFT now?
MFT hurts especially weaker killers. If you think about it its clear. The strong killers are mostly strong beause they have movment. A Nurse dosent care about MFT, a Blight with speed addons doesnt care about MFT, Spirit ...etc
but for a weaker Killer MFT can rlly hurt for example:
- M1 Killer only without a good chase power to counter: Pig, Trapper, Myers, Ghost Face, Legion, Onrio, Knight, SM, Buba (if the survivor doesnt heal)
- The killer uses his power to gain a little distance so he can strike before he reaches the pallet or window, which is no longer possible with MFT: Freddy, Doctor, Billy and Pig again
- Killers that are so slow, that MFT makes a Rock to an infinite: Deathslinger, Huntress, Trickstar
So MFT shouldnt exists, because it punishes players for playing weaker killers.
PS I know Huntress and Deathslinger arent weak, but they are basically uplayable against MFT and its a nightmare to play aginst it.
At this point it really doesn't matter if it's op or not! just the sheer amount complaints will be enough to guarantee a nerf very soon so u won't have to deal with it much longer. I haven't seen the forums this flooded over a perk since dh/eruption.
-
guess i will never know! still never see her and I'm definitely not gonna play her to find out.
-
it just horrible built to last with a bunch steps to use it.
-
yeah slinger and huntress was actually solid on this big map cause most of the loops had low walls. I understand this buff will make approaching killers a bit more difficult to see immediately which is good but damn the range killer will have to suffer.
-
@GHOSTfaceP3 said:
He's already really good in skilled player hands, sure against a swf he might suffer a lil bit all killers do....I play solo and honestly he's kinda oppressive especially with team mates that are not the most reliable
i like the new killer but it the same trend of late.
1. A new killer come out with the ability to gate keep a area from a far.
2 The killer is perceived to be weak.
3 The character get buffs to make him more appealing to the killer playerbase
4 the survivors find them even more intolerable because they control areas indefinitely with slow down perks and even once u remove their power it place right back 10 seconds later.
-
######### they don't wanna win that much!! still seeing people play trapper, legion, myers and solo q religiously.
-
@appleas said:
They could have made it so that either hitting a specific survivor twice with his M2 or hitting a survivor with M2 after X amount of M2 hits inflicts Condemned on them.
That would reward Players who could get M2 hits off consistently without being too oppressive.

I don't get it. We get some cool perks and a neat killer, but everyone's just complaining about it. Did you want a perfect update or something? A lot of y'all are so blinded by your reactionary disappointment that you can't see that we have some fun new toys to play with. There doesn't seem to be anything to warrant such an outcry in this update, it's fine and didn't break the game
The new chapter great in my opinion just need a nerf to emps but i not suprise by the huge amount of backlash! i feel anytime a killer remotely strong come out the survivors complain to no end!! and any time a killer come out who not strong the killer mains scream D tier which = bad chapter!! Half of the killers roster haven't been receive well on initial release (twins, legion, knight, trickster, skull merchant, sadako, freddy, etc). I'm not even suprise anymore.
