Well now it’s been switched to Crotus Prenn every single match, so at least you don’t have to play Garden of Joy anymore.
If you play killer you might as well stop for a while until the 90% selection rate for Crotus Prenn goes away unless you enjoy dealing with broken main building loops and broken killer shack/jungle gym loops
10 games today, haven't seen one crotus prenn and 3 garden of joys so....

Double check the cosmetics. You might already have them.

Tight timing, pressure because of working on other characters / licensed stuff that require more attention.
Or... The Knight is a crash test concept for Lady Dimitrescu & daughters.
That's how I felt about The Twins. I was hoping they were proof of concept for Tiffany and Chucky.

One thing I noticed that would also help is when he goes into his power he has a MASSIVE slowdown. Remove that like they did for the plague and it's a step in a better direction.

This challenge is definitely busted.

Let go when? As a solo player, when do you let go of a gen to avoid Eruption? I have yet to see anyone give a reasonable counterplay for solo players. Explain how a solo player will know when to let go of a gen when a teammate is in chase across the map?
If survivors try to attack a 3 gen early in the game, do killers not kick those gens with Eruption? That's a disingenuous suggestion at best.
One example I can think of is the obsession. If the little entity marks are moving around them and they are injured, stay off the gen for a bit or as the OP said, go find one that isn't regressing or has been worked on. It's called Game Sense and a LOT of people don't seem to want to use it. It's like doctor's AOE. It has a counter, just be mindful of the passage of time and hide properly.
I'm not saying eruption isn't wonky as it's designed but there are ways to mitigate it. Also, sometimes the killer needs you off that gen for 25 seconds. It's like DMS. Let both sides have some toys.

EGC was probably the best thing ever added to the game to date.
However, I love the non-verbal communication between random players, especially when it gets silly. That can be so much fun.

Just hugging a survivor till they reach the inside of the exit gates for a free down sounds balanced
As balanced as Boon totems.
-
This is why I'd like to see the inside of the exit gates make survivors "exposed". Make it a non-safe zone and put some fear in em'.
-
You should have been here at the start. It was WAY grindy. They improved it a lot. Even a casual gamer can get through it without too much hassle.
-
Same. BP stuff is not being awarded.

When Nurses calling could see removing "Madness" as auras. (and then they removed it because it wasn't a healing action around the same time "deep wounds" showed up.... which was a healing action but didn't show up on nurses calling either. Good times.)

I've barely noticed the 10 second gen time increase. It feels the same because PT exists. I see a lot of games where gens FLY. (That stridor challenge was a great example of it)
-
From all the clips I have seen, it seems when a survivor turns to the side, it makes him miss. Like their hitbox gets way smaller in profile or something.
-
Can we talk about how Billy's chainsaw hit starts at the top of his swing above his head when the chainsaw isn't near the player? It feels more unfair than huntress beach balls... er.. hatchets.
-
My friend booped a piggy early on and then after 3 others escaped I could have ran out but decided I wanted boops too and she was NOT having it. So I gave her a kill instead which is fine. Her loss (literally).

The payment to prestige shouldn't be a thing if it prevents you from acquiring anything at all on the bloodweb. Everything else is absolutely great - This however makes no sense. Just remove the payment to prestige. It's already a penalty enough where you have smaller webs with less nodes with less options on stuff to buy.
Agreed. It just feels bad to have to pay to "level up". It's a boner killer for sure.

I'd be fine with reverting back to old Thana just affecting Healing and not gens.

Prove Thyself as far as the eye can see.

Remember they changed the scourge hook because it had too many benefits. Adrenaline needs the same treatment. Far too many things stack with this. I'd be happy if it just didn't activate on hook. You got caught, you don't deserve a reward, especially with the new BT base kit.
-
I just found two on Midwich that can't be touched
-
I'm kinda surprised PT didn't get touched as it's basuically a never ending toolbox and VERY powerful in a SWF's hands.
-
Can confirm. Just saw this happen by a real stand up human who didn't exploit it at all.

it could be an Easy Anti Cheat issue. Try this:
Go to your Dead by Daylight game folder. (Steam -> Steamapps -> common -> Dead by Daylight)
Go to the Easy Anti Cheat folder.
Run the Setup. exe and press the big blue button that says repair.
Honestly at this point, the one time I got it to load, it was such a chore to play and not fun I just uninstalled the game and it probably will stay that way for a while.

I'm happy to let someone get their challenges done because I know what it's like. The people who don't... well....

If I try to open the game by any other means other than the desktop shortcut or steam, it opens fine but then I get this message:

I have some ideas:
- Make Hexes "claim" the totem after like 30s or more from the start of the game. They wouldn't work in that time, so survivors wouldn't have to stress about early Haunted Grounds cleanse or something.
- Same as 1st, but make Totems overall spawn later, so they cannot be tracked immidiately.
- Introduce a perk that works kinda like Grim Embrace or Thrilling Tremors, but with protection over totems (or just add it to those perks, idk)
- Rework totem spawns completely, cuz on some maps (cough... Macmillan...cough) they're literally a joke for both boons and hexes. No one wants their totem on top of a hill or in the middle of the open space with 1 tree around
How about like Pentimento, the killer can decide when to light the totems? Light ruin early, or light it later? Survivors can choose when to bless, let killers decide when to hex.
Tho' they already have the totem block animation from Plaything. They could easily use that as an Early Game Collapse mechanic. Let the totems live a bit and be blocked. Some obviously it would do no good like Haunted grounds until later but.... trade offs are trade offs.
-
I think if you could walk over them instead of crouch it would help and I play hag. She needs QoL, not major changes.
-
Two changes would help it:
- Make the AOE a disc and not a cylinder (or sphere or whatever) so players don't abuse it on multi-level maps.
- Allow killers to CHOOSE to snuff or break it. This opens up an interesting risk/reward gamneplay options on the killer side. (Perhaps after the same totem has been booned twice, the second snuff destroys the totem?)
-
Second game, same issue. I started with 6, only got 8.
-
Boon totems made/make me stop playing. They need a cool down or change where you can't keep booning the same totem over and over. (Or give killers the option to snuff or destroy)
-
This video is great. I would love to hear an employees take on it.
-
This is why I would love to see an ETB (Experimental Test Beta) A limited playground to really test new ideas. They could put in ideas the communtiy thinks is a good idea only to show how bad they are ha ha and be like "SEE!?"

I've always felt that being inside the gates should give you the exposed status. It solves a LOT of problems. Bm'ing at the gate (I mean people will still do it but not be as brave about it), heal tech, and generally wasting people's time on either side. It also puts a bit more fear into survivors and rewards a high skill play.

So I was trying to learn Oni today. The main idea was to hit people, let them go and get my power consistently, and then basically only try to down people with my power to train it. In almost every game there are boons, sometimes multiple. I was trying to snuff them, but on stacked maps like Midwich this becomes impossible and they just rebless it anyways...
So how do you guys deal with them?
I can't tunnel out the person with the boon, because, firstly, sometimes I don't know who has the boon in the first place and, secondly, In a decent amount of games there are multiple of them.
The other option is to just generally always go after the injured survivor, which is kinda stressful to do and no one really enjoys it. Any tips from veteran killers? (Except for playing Plague every game :D)
I dealt with it by not playing the game anymore. ggez.

It would be too good. Maybe with 15 seconds tops, but ain't no 45 seconds seeing a live version.
If so, I see Freddy and Class photo being a thing for a while.

This forum sure is full of people taking the long way to say "I know you are but what am I?"

I don't play anymore. I just lurk around to see what's going on. The game has become far too stale in it's current state.

It says the "Original Story" which is a novel from 91' and the character is called Sadako and the story is... nutty. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sadako_Yamamura

This statement is true.

I'd be happy if there were some iframes after a hit. Right now he can just pelt you into oblivion.

Had the same happen on PC. Apparently "by any means" isn't all inclusive.

It's not only about range. You need to have clear path, so any objects like wall etc. will result only with swarm.
Ahhh that's not made very clear in the power description. Interesting. Thanks.

Here's a different take on Artist's power.
Picture this. You find somebody and start chasing them. You take a second to launch 3 crows at 3 far off generators during chase. You manage to land crows on all 3 of the other Survivors. Now they all have to spend 8 seconds clearing the swarm or you can get injuries on them while in chase with somebody else. So... for 8 seconds literally nobody is touching a single generator. If you launch all 3 crows, your CD is 12 seconds. In theory, you can keep everybody off Generators 75% of the time while (probably) still getting distance on, or forcing resource use out of the guy you're chasing. Even if you throw 2 Gen crows and 1 at the chase guy to zone him, you're still forcing a lot of wasted time with your birds.
Obviously, you won't land every crow on every throw at a generator and doing this requires not going tunnel vision mode and pretty good game awareness... but still... Artist has a very real way to severely slow down the game in a way that no other killer can match. Legion comes the closest, but their ability to do that usually stops working once the Survivors realize its Legion and spread out.
I wish crows forced them to stop repairing gens. I watch people just sit on gens with crows on them all the time which is fine for an injure but I would gladly trade gen slowdown for injures with her.
